Rest assured, all your subscriptions, whether monthly or yearly, will be matched accordingly. Your My Fleets and Tags, along with your Credit Points, will also be transferred to your new MarineTraffic account. Additionally, we will assist you in smoothly transferring your My Zones.

With your new MarineTraffic account, you will have access to all its features and services during the remaining duration of your FleetMon subscription. If your contract with FleetMon has already expired, there's no need to worry. We are offering a free trial period of two months, allowing you to experience and explore all the fantastic features MarineTraffic has to offer before deciding on a suitable subscription plan. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, contact our support team directly. They will be more than happy to assist you with your new MarineTraffic account.

We would also like to express our appreciation to the photo community for the incredible photos you have contributed over the past few years. USS  America (LHA-6) left for an underway period on Monday, according to ship spotters. America  will change homeports later this year, USNI News has learned.

In Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam

U.S. 7th Fleet command ship USS  Blue Ridge  (LCC-19) and the Coast Guard cutter USCGC Waesche (WMSL-751) pulled into the Vietnamese port of Cam Ranh Bay on Monday, according to the Navy.

“During the port visit, Blue Ridge and Waesche leadership will meet with the Vietnam People’s Navy, Vietnam Coast Guard, and Khanh Hoa leadership. Events during the visit include subject matter expert exchanges and community relations activities,” reads the statement.

In the Eastern Pacific

USS  Ronald Reagan  (CVN-76) is underway in U.S. 3rd Fleet, USNI News has learned.

The carrier will head to Washington state later this year for a planned repair availability.

Aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) is transiting the Pacific Ocean en route her new home port of Yokosuka, Japan after participating in Exercise Southern Seas 2024.

Amphibious assault ship, USS Boxer (LHD-4) departed San Diego, Calif. on Wednesday, according to ship spotters. Boxer had been in port San Diego conducting emergent repairs on a rudder casualty discovered shortly after departing on deployment on April 1st.

Carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) was underway off the Pacific Northwest, according to ship spotters.

In Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Aircraft carrier USS  Carl Vinson (CVN-70) arrived in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Tuesday in preparation for Rim of the Pacific 2024 exercises.

In the Atlantic

In the Mediterranean

USS Wasp (LHD-1) pulled into Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece, according to a statement from the service.

The Wasp Amphibious Ready Group with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit embarked deployed from the East Coast on June 1. The ARG is made up of Wasp, USS New York (LPD-21) and USS Oak Hill (LSD-51).

The Wasp ARG conducted joint, combined operations with the Eisenhower CSG and the U.K. Navy in the Eastern Mediterranean on Tuesday.

The 24th MEU is composed of a command element, Battalion Landing Team 1/8, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced) and Combat Logistics Battalion 24 as the Logistics Combat Element.

The temporary U.S.-built pier aimed at boosting aid shipments to Gaza was removed once again due to weather to protect it, and the U.S. is considering not reinstalling it unless the aid begins flowing out into the population again,  U.S. officials said Friday.

In the Red Sea

The U.N. Security Council  on Jan. 10 approved a resolution calling on Yemen’s Houthi rebel group to “cease its brazen” attacks in the Red Sea.

On Sunday, U.S. Central Command forces destroyed two Iranian-backed Houthi uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Yemen. On Thursday , CENTCOM forces destroyed two Houthi uncrewed surface vessels in the Red Sea and one Houthi radar site in Yemen.

On Wednesday , CENTCOM forces destroyed two Houthi radar sites in Yemen and two USVs in the Red Sea.

On Monday , CENTCOM forces destroyed one Houthi radar site in Yemen.

In the Gulf of Aden

On Sunday , CENTCOM partner forces successfully destroyed two Houthi UAVs over the Gulf of Aden.

In the Persian Gulf

U.S. Coast Guard Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutters are forward-deployed to the region under Patrol Forces Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA). PATFORSWA deploys Coast Guard personnel and ships with U.S. and regional naval forces throughout the Middle East. Initially deployed in 2003 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, PATFORSWA is now a permanent presence based out of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition to these major formations, not shown are others serving in submarines, individual surface ships, aircraft squadrons, SEALs, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Forces, Seabees, EOD Mobile Units and more serving throughout the globe.

Stamp prices increase again this weekend. How much will Forever first-class cost?

The u.s. postal service is raising prices starting on july 14, including the cost of forever postage stamps. the new price is a 78 percent increase from when forever stamps were introduced in 2007..

Postal rates, including the price of Forever stamps , are going up again .

Forever stamps get a 5-cent increase from 68 cents to 73 cents when the price increase goes into effect on Sunday.

When Forever stamps were introduced in 2007 , they cost 41 cents each. That's a 78% increase in 17 years.

The U.S. Postal Service called them "Forever" stamps so consumers knew whenever they bought them, the stamp would be good for sending mail. That means any stamps you have now that you bought for 68 cents or cheaper can still be used even after the price increase.

Here's what else you need to know:

Why does the Postal Service keep raising price of Forever stamps?

The most recent price changes were proposed by the Postal Service in April and  approved  by its board of governors in November.

Aggressive price increases have been part of the Postal Service's 10-year  Delivering for America  plan, enacted in 2021 by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.

"You understand the Postal Service had been in a financial death spiral for the 14 years prior to my arrival in June of 2020 and had no plan to curtail these losses, and therefore no plan to become fiscally self-sufficient," he told a U.S. Senate committee in April 2024 .

Despite some cited improvements at the Postal Service, many senators decried how its plan has led to delays in their constituents' mail . The Postal Service, which had forecast a $1.7 billion surplus in 2024 in the Delivering for America plan, is expected to lose more than $8 billion in the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, and has asked the White House for an additional $14 billion, The Washington Post reported .

Upping the price of Forever stamps and other mail services won't solve the agency's financial challenges, Postal Service spokesman David Coleman told USA TODAY. A big problem is that domestic first-class mail has declined by 52% compared to 2007, he said.

"The Postal Service is one of the most efficient postal administrations in the world, but volume … is expected to continue to decline as a result of diversion to digital communications and the increase in online transactions," Coleman said.

Can I still use Forever stamps?

Yes, you can still use any Forever stamp. Any Forever stamp covers the cost of first-ounce postage even if the price of a stamp changes, Coleman said.

You can also still use stamps that are not Forever stamps, but you will need to add enough postage to total 73 cents when mailing a First-Class Mail letter weighing 1 ounce.

Forever stamps: Tracking price increases over the years

If it seems as if Forever stamps have been increasing forever, well, they have been rising a lot in recent years. Here are the increases since the stamps were priced at 55 cents on Jan. 27, 2019:

◾ Aug. 29, 2021 - 58 cents

◾ July 10, 2022 - 60 cents

◾ Jan. 22, 2023 - 63 cents

◾ July 9, 2023 - 66 cents

◾ Jan. 21, 2024 - 68 cents

◾ July 14, 2024 - 73 cents

What other mail prices are going up?

Other services will see an increase, too, including Priority Mail (5%). Here are some other price increases that took effect on Jan. 21:

Joe Lacob isn’t eager to return home to the Celtics.

The Warriors owner and former Celtics minority owner put to bed any ideas that he would be a top interested buyer of the recent NBA champions as the team is set to go up for sale soon.

“No chance,” Lacob said on  “The Athletic NBA Show” on Tuesday. “No chance, sorry. That ship sailed a long time ago — a long, long time ago. I’m a Warrior, this is my identity, it’s our identity. I love what we’ve done. I love our fans, our arena (and) the last decade, and I just want to do more. I just want to create an even longer and even greater legacy for this organization.”

The Massachusetts native was a Celtics minority owner from 2006-10 and went on to buy the Warriors for $450 million and turn the franchise into an esteemed organization within the NBA.

Lacob was at the helm during the Warriors’ stretch of trips to the NBA Finals with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson, and the team has won four championships since he purchased the team.

Only weeks after the Celtics won their NBA-record 18th championship over the Mavericks, the team announced the managing board of the ownership group expected to sell the majority interest of the team in 2024 or early 2025.

The new owner will inherit an expensive roster.

Jayson Tatum signed the most expensive contract in the league’s history this summer — a five-year, $314 million extension — which surpassed Jaylen Brown’s 2023 deal of five years for $303 million.

Derrick White also signed a four-year, $125 million extension.

Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis earned $30 million or more a year to make the Celtics’ payroll be over $200 million by the 2025-26 season.

Forbes’ valuations listed the Celtics at $4.8 billion in 2023 .

Current owner Wyc Grousbeck purchased the team for $360 million in 2002.
