Departing in Trou D’eau Douce on the East and Black River on the west, our friendly skippers will show you Ile aux Cerfs, the Grande Riviere Sud Est waterfall, Ile aux Benitiers, the Crystal Rock, Tamarin bay and its dolphins and the most beautiful sunsets. East Coast: Ile aux cerfs & the Grande Rivière Sud Est waterfall (6h)

On the east coast, the clear waters of the longest lagoon in Mauritius are calling you… Against a backdrop of volcanic mountains, try and spot the peaks of the « Chat et la Souris » unmissable landmarks on the east coast. Then sail towards the GRSE waterfall, “eau bleu” and Ile aux Cerfs.

West coast: Ile aux bénitiers, Crystal Rock, Tamarin Bay and its dolphins (6h)

Having lived in mauritius off and on for the last 10+ years, i have centred my fishing charters on sportfisher. i have caught some great fish with these guys, including a grander blue marlin - 1209lbs back in 2008. the boats are very well equipped, well maintained, impeccably clean and the crews are great professionals, and really know how to coach new anglers as well as the more experienced, and there are no safer pairs of hands when you have a big fish by the boat. all the crews are good, but i mainly fish with paille en queue 1 or curtis on paille en queue 2., richard wooding, after a wonderful day out we can certainly recommend sportfisher as your deep sea guide when looking for a grand baie fishing charter. after taking a trip with another firm we went out for a full day on a sportfisher co boat. despite bad weather, current to strong for fishing, the very helpful and professional crew (michael & michel) managed to find us two nice dorado and another two that got away. will definetly hire them again if we go back to grand baie. thanks from sweden, my first time of deep sea fishing, my husband's treat but i joined him to take the photograph of that catch. little did i know i would end up landing the fish. he started with catching a dorado and after that we landed 12 skip jack tuna of which i bought in 2. the crew were fantastic working hard on the 5 reels to make sure the fish landed. we did see a glimpse of a marlin but i am glad to say that was the one that got away..
