“Amazing foodie experience” Review of Restaurant Cafe Am Yachthafen

You can’t miss this place when you hop over to Kehl from Strasbourg. Melanie is an amazing host and well the food was completely locally sourced! I had trouble finding veggies in Europe and the Schnitzel with veggies and salad was unreal! Thanks for the hospitality! I will be back…even from Canada🇨🇦. Cheers!

An incredible warm welcome and great food await you in this cosy restaurant. It’s based on the banks of the Kehl yacht club so you have a nice harbour atmosphere looking onto the boats. The deco has a nautical feel. The ambiance is cosy and the food reasonably priced European dishes with some personal touches. Portions are generous and Melanie and her team are warm, welcoming and attentive. In warmer weather you can spend part of the meal outside and there is even a green grass play area for children. A really lovely place for a family meal!

Had a great time with family in this beautiful restaurant with a Cosy ambiance. Spend most of our time on the outside terrace surrounded by beautiful trees Service and food was excellent Would recommend to visit for a good lunch/diner or just to chill out.

Animated and loved by the locals, great to sit near by the water, seeing some sport boats lying quietly, sun to the last moment on the terrace! A good place to enjoy outdoor dining, excellent service, food good, And open on Sundays ! Still insider tip

Kitchen opened at only 17:30, so we waited inside with a great Pils beer. Menus available only in German and French, yet the staff was very helpful and made sure we understand what we we were ordering - described the dishes in English for us and agreed to do minor changes. Food was very good and served in timely manner. Staff is very friendly and unobtrusive. Suppose, it's a little bit expensive for the place though.
