BY LAND – Find us at 76-84 Waterway Drive, Coomera.  Take EXIT 54 coming from Brisbane, from the Gold Coast take EXIT 57 or EXIT 54.

BY AIR – Good connections to two international airports in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast allow easy travels to any other part of the world for crew rotation or repatriation.  Helicopter landings onsite are also available on request.

BY SEA – Use Navionics online ChartViewer to navigate to GCCM.  The Gold Coast has a dedicated customs, quarantine and inspection point at Southport Yacht Club.  Less than two nautical miles from open sea, the berth accommodates yachts in excess of 75-metres and our team can support you with Australian customs, visa and permit regulations.  GCCM is located just 10 nautical miles from the seaway.

Major hotels, golf courses, restaurants, theme parks and shopping centres are just a short drive away by car or boat.

The mission of the Southport Yacht Club is to encourage and promote all aspects of yachting in the spirit of good sportsmanship and camaraderie.  The club is committed to creating a Corinthian atmosphere by blending a friendly social environment with a variety of sailing and cruising programs in which members and their families may participate.

Southport Yacht Club, established in 1946, is the Gold Coast’s award-winning premier sports club. Our Main Beach Clubhouse is home to the only open-air waterfront north-facing restaurant & bar. Overlooking our stunning 300-berth Marina on the Gold Coast’s waters, this location is a perfect venue for your next conference, function or waterfront wedding.

The Hollywell Clubhouse is home to our SYC sailing squadron, along with a Bar & Bistro. It’s the ideal place to grab a cold drink and watch one of our many off-the-beach Sailing events. Our well cared for campgrounds are the ideal place for you to moor and relax with family and friends. Watch the sunset behind the beautiful Hinterland, while toasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit.

Marina & Berthing

It is highly recommended that all boats competing in Sail Paradise 2023 Regatta berth at Southport Yacht Club’s 300 berths private marina for the duration of the regatta, Saturday 30th September 2023 to Monday 2nd October 2023 as this is where the majority of the social events will be held.

SYC offers limited FREE berthing to competing yachts during the regatta, however berthing space is limited and we ask that you please arrange berthing allocation well in advance with the Marina Office via 07 5591 3500.

Your stay will be more enjoyable and hassle-free due to our numerous facilities provided on-site:
