Enjoy this spectacular trip aboard one of two identical 35′ motorized catamarans; you’ll find the perfect middle ground between adventure and comfort! This Na Pali Coast snorkel tour will showcase the beauty of the Kauai stop and its Hawaiian marine life. The Morning Na Pali Tour starts with check-in at 6:30- 7:00 a.m. It may be a little cooler than our afternoon tour, so bring a windbreaker.

We depart Hanalei Bay around 7:30 a.m. and return approximately 4 hours later at around 11:30 a.m. Snorkel equipment, flotation devices, and a waterproof dry bag are provided.

Please note that snorkeling or entrance into sea caves is not guaranteed. Our goal is always to provide the best tour possible, given the day’s weather and ocean conditions. Safety is priority #1 always.

Do you stop at any beaches along the way?

No stops at beaches. The snorkeling is done off the boat. We very much enjoyed our tour with them. Very professional and nice crew.

Do they offer a full face snorkeling mask?

I don't know. We had our own snorkel gear. I would call the office and ask them.

We truly enjoyed this excursion. Captain Sean and crewman Nick were incredibly knowledgeable about the scenery, culture, and history of the Na Pali Coast. We saw green turtles, Spinner Dolphin and a herd of goats on the trip down. We were able to actually enter the cave on this day due to a somewhat calm surf. Be warned, on the return trip you will be traveling into the wind and the surf is much more to deal with. I wish I had taken some motion sickness medicine prior to the trip. The crew helped me avoid it through some timely suggestions. Snorkeling off of Tunnel's Beach was great. You are sure to see many tropical fish.

Amazing trip with incredible views and great history lessons. The crew was awesome and super accommodating. We got to see some beautiful turtles and great fish when snorkeling and got to go in some of the caves.

Amazing adventure to the Na Pali coast with the Catamaran Crew. They were very knowledgeable of Kauai and took us to some great sites with enough time to get GREAT pictures. Highly recommend starting off at Hanalei rather than the south end of Kauai. Will come back some day and do it all again. Mahalo

1000% everything went great! Terrific friendly crew, smooth weather, boat was appropriate & roomy for the trip, lots of time in sea, caves, snorkeling, good delish sandwiches, snacks & drinks. What more could we want? Pick this for your Napali Coast trip. It's very close to the destination, so you get much more sightseeing & less rocky ocean. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best value! Be sure to leave a gratuity for the crew!

Honestly, this was one of the best things I've ever done. Ever. Full disclosure: I did a Napali Coast tour from Port Allen last year which was excellent. This was very different but so much better. First, if you're staying on the north side, it's an eight minute drive from Princeville. Early in the morning this is a huge plus. Second, once you board and are on your way, the scenery is there. It's beautiful. Instantly. Third, the boat is small. You literally hug the coast and go inside the caves. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! DOLPHINS! We saw dolphins! Soooo many dolphins! Ok this isn't a guarantee but it was so cool! They take you offshore Tunnels Beach for snorkeling. While there are other boats there, we saw lots of fish and turtles. GREAT LOCATION! Lunch is served there and then you head back. Finally, the crew was amazing! Clay and Miguel know SO much. They told us about a lot is the history of the various places we saw. I felt safe the entire time, as Clay navigated through the caves and tunnels. He also stopped at significant places along the way to tell us about them--a much more personal experience. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

Our Catamaran was manned by Casey and Miguel, and we had an awesome time out on the water. I honestly didn't know what to expect as we did a helicopter tour just the day prior, and I wasn't sure if we would see any more of the Na Pali coast than what we already saw in the air, but boy was a wrong. Casey took us into a cave, and it was one of the best experiences on a boat we have ever had. Casey and Miguel did a great job giving us the history of the Na Pali coast. We even lucked out by seeing pods of spinner dolphins at the beginning and at the end of our excursion. Also, kudos to Marina for answering all of my questions at the time of booking, before we arrived, and the day we arrived. Last, but not least, do yourself the favor and highly consider leaving out of North Shore vs Port Allen (South Shore); if you depart from South Shore, you will waste a lot of time cruising up the west coast seeing much of nothing spectacular. I contacted many companies, and Marina totally sold me on going with Na Pali Catamaran. You should do the same.

This boat trip along Kauai's Na Pali coast was the highlight of my vacation. The crew was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the coast and famous movie star residents living in the area. Lunch was wonderful with real meat sandwiches, snacks and beverages. The weather allowed us to take the boat into several caves, experience the amazing geological lava formations, and see firsthand the effects of water erosion inside the caves. The cliffs along the coast were also amazing--seeing how small the people on the beach and hiking on the trails were compared to the height and steepness of the cliffs. I highly recommend taking this boat tour as part of your visit to Kauai.

The Na Pali Catamaran boat tour is an unforgettable experience that offers a breathtaking view of one of the world's most stunning coastlines. The crew is friendly and knowledgeable, often sharing interesting facts about the history, geology and wildlife. The icing on the cake, was swimming with a sea turtle and seeing young dolphins being playful.

The boat trip was amazing! My family really loves the great experience that captain and crew brought to the boat. We saw many beautiful sceneries of Na Pali coast. Such an unforgettable experience!

Captain Steve and his son were so knowledgeable about everything, from the names of the waterfalls to the legends the cliffs and valleys hold. I’ve only done a tour like this once before, and it was on a zodiac boat, which was bumpy and not as enjoyable. This boat was the ideal size to handle the waves, as well as fit into sea caves along the Napoli Coast. Captain Steve and his co-captain (blanking on her name but she was awesome) were fantastic tour guides. He took us through sea caves and gave us a taste of the Na Pali "Rollercoaster Ride." The snorkeling was awesome too! In addition to the actual tour, their website explains exactly what you get and gives accurate information about what to expect. We went during a time when Kuhio highway to Hanalei was under construction due to a landslide a few months prior and there was a limited amount of time to get into the area. It was clearly stated on the website along with the time you needed to make the trip. The booking staff did a great job communicating with us about what to expect and was very helpful. We are excited to announce that we will be operating boat tours along the stunning Na Pali Coast throughout the late fall and winter of 2024! During our “off-season,” we are pleased to offer a modified tour experience that promises an unforgettable adventure! While our winter tours will be 3 hours long, as opposed to our standard 4-hour tours during peak season, the focus will be on captivating sightseeing and wildlife viewing along the Na Pali Coast. Please note that lunch is not provided, as we aim to reduce waste in the event of a tour cancellation. Snorkeling and sea cave exploration are less likely during the winter months, but our captains will always monitor the conditions and may have opportunities to incorporate these activities if the weather permits. We depart Hanalei Bay around 7:30am and return approximately 4 hours later at around 11:30am. Snorkel equipment and floatation devices are provided, as well as a waterproof drybag.
