The exact layout can be tailored to meet the requirements of each owner. As standard, the vessel can sleep up to 10 guests and five crew. The lower deck is outfitted with four guest cabins, the crew accommodation, and the crew mess, while the main deck is home to an owner’s suite with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private office, and an optional fold-out balcony.

The decor epitomizes Scandinavian chic, with light-wood paneling, contemporary furniture, and a simple palette. (Seafarers can also opt for another interior created in collaboration with the Ofist Design Studio.)

“As the 30XP will be our first diesel-electric yacht, we were inspired by a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic that prioritizes simplicity, minimalism, and functionality,” Numarine founder and chairman Ömer Malaz said in a statement. “We want to offer the feeling of being at home even when you are far out at sea.”

Outside, the aft deck and sundeck offer ample space for alfresco lounging and entertaining. In addition, the semi-open beach club in the stern can be enjoyed in all seasons. It is also fitted with three-fold down platforms that increase the deck space and provide direct access to the sea. To top it off, a side-loading tender bay can store a 20-foot runabout.

The first 30XP is expected to hit the seas next spring.

Numarine confirms 13 yachts under construction

Turkish shipyard Numarine has confirmed it has 13 yachts currently under construction at its Istanbul yard, following a record number of sales in 2022.

These projects include the popular 22XP, 26XP and 37XP crossover-style explorer models for which the yard has become known. 

The first major milestone of the year for Numarine will be the delivery of its eighth 37XP hull while another five remain in construction. 

The shipyard also plans to ramp up production with a new waterside facility where its new flagship, the 45XP , is expected to enter serial production. Having averaged eight deliveries a year for the past two decades, the expansion will also allow Numarine to deliver close to 15 yachts per year and begin building hulls on speculation to shorten delivery times for clients.

News of the expansion follows the strongest sales year for the shipyard since it was established in 2002 with great success in the US. Exports accounted for around 70 per cent of the shipyard's sales with 20 per cent in Turkey, 35 per cent in the US, 25 per cent from other European countries, and the remaining 10 per cent from elsewhere.

Despite the success, the shipyard has no plans to up the size of its offering. “We’ve delivered over 170 yachts to date, so we now have a very credible pedigree with a niche product”, said Numarine founder and chairman Ömer Malaz. “I don’t think there is anything that a 60 or 70 metre yacht can do that a 45 metre cannot. That is why we’re staying under 50 meters for the foreseeable future,” he said. 

Instead, the shipyard said it will increasingly focus efforts on sustainable technology and building practices. 

Looking ahead to this year, Numarine addressed the industry-wide supply chain issues affecting shipyards around the world, which it hopes to mitigate by ordering critical components with orders placed for engines for yachts scheduled for delivery in 2025. The builder also intends to keep construction in-house to ensure “consistent quality and optimum flexibility.” In addition to the hull and superstructure production using vacuum infusion technology and composite materials such as kevlar and carbon fibre, Numarine has glass, cabinetry, upholstery and metal workshops on site.

Numarine 26XP completed

The third unit of the Numarine 26XP series has been delivered. At 26 meters, the new expedition vessel is equipped with a full-displacement efficient hull and bulbous bow for long range cruising.  

“We are excited to deliver another 26XP to her owner”, comments Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine.

Designed by Can Yalman and with naval architecture is by Umberto Tagliavini, the new superyacht has the same layout and propulsion package as the second yacht of the series,  Minella . Her interior features four staterooms, including two VIPs, a twin cabin and owner’s suite with a private study, lounge and en-suite. The main saloon with full height windows comes with ample seating and dining areas in addition to a connecting outdoor dining area, which leads down to the beach platform.

With storage space for a 3.5 meter tender on the flybridge and onboard systems to eliminate noise and vibration from Silent Line, the 26XP was built with comfort in mind. The displacement 26XP unit can reach a maximum speed of 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 9 knots and a range of 3,000 nm at 8 knots.

Numarine’s new stunning flagship is the 37XP model. At 37 m, she is the largest Numarine yacht ever. Unveiled for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, the unit #1 hasa Hot Lab decoration package– the superyacht features a stylish decor from the sophisticated Italian studio.

“The Numarine 37XP combines a refined but easily recognizable aesthetics with an ambitiously conceived functionality to deliver a first-class yachting experience,” said Omer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine. 

The 37XP has the same beam as the 32XP, yet fiveextra meters were added forward of the engine room bulkhead adding to the guest and crew accommodation volume as well as the upper deck and sky lounge. 

Excellent design The collaboration behind the design remains the same with the shipyard’s long-time partners – Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for the naval architecture and Can Yalmanis in charge of the exterior. 

“The lines on the 37XP are a refinement of the robust look of the 32XP with flowing softer lines that extenuate the longer length, with less interruptions that create a balance between strength and elegance,” said Yalman.

The interior decoration of the first 37XP is by Hot Lab. This is the second Numarine project with the Milan-based studio. Grey, white, beige and brown tones dominate the interior creating a special atmosphere on board. A lot of natural light fill up the space through huge windows – they are the key feature for the entire XP Series range. The designers used a number of freestanding furniture from the famous brands, such as Fendi Casa, Promemoria, Giorgetti, and so on.

All about space The yacht has a spacious interior with several social areas. The main deck saloon and cabins benefit from large windows and are filled with sunlight. Said Ali Tanir, Head of International Sales at Numarine:“The windows are from ceiling to the floor. On the portside, we have a big opening window next to the dining table. Moreover, Hot Lab designed the decoration package for this yacht. So as you can see, she’s amazing.”

The aft beach club features a bathing platform and an inside lounge literally sitting on the water level. Wide outside spaces are another major advantage of the new model. 

The wide body flybridge is almost 10 m long and it turns into 80 sq. m space. The 37XP #1 hosts seven guest cabins on board, including the master suite on the main deck – in the bow. In addition, there are a huge VIP cabin amidships on the lower deck and owner’s suite on the upper deck. This space is excitingand has direct connection to the vast outside terrace via a glass door. That terrace, while underway, is used as a tender storage. The 37XP can carryup to 9 m long tender. And when it’s launched, the area may be used for outside sports or sunbathing or parties.

37XP #4 sold with Denison Yachting On the verge of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, Numarinesold the 4th unit of the 37XP Series. The deal was stroked with a clientby Ali Tanir, Head of International Sales ofthe shipyard, and Denison Yachting’s brokerAlex G. Clarke along with Artie Davenport of Galati Yachts representing the buyer.

This yacht can feature a 6-cabin layout to accommodate 12 guests and a private skylounge. There are crew accommodations for seven with a captain’s cabin. Hull #4 of the Numarine 37XP series comes with plenty of top-quality features and amenities including a designated beach club, sundeck Jacuzzi, and a boat deck that can carry up to a8.5-meter tender + 3 jet skis.

This is the third 37XP sold by Denison in the past six months, each to American clients. The fourth Numarine 37XP will be launched in late 2022.
