DEEP BLUE II Specifications

The luxury motor yacht DEEP BLUE II (ex Deep Blue) was launched in 1996 and totally refitted in 2007, her last refit was in 2019. Built by OceAnco she is finished to usual high standards with superior engineering and craftsmanship. DEEP BLUE II was originally launched with a design by the OceAnco in-house design team, the ‘A Group’. She has now been re-launched; with a spectacular new look by Donald Starkley, one of Europe’s leading designers.

Motor Yacht DEEP BLUE II flows with clean simple lines and modern décor inside and out. Her main and upper salon offers tremendous light with wide panoramic windows. The formal dining table can seat up to 12 and can be separated from the main salon by a sliding door. A small camera installed on the table allows crew to monitor the pace of the meal without disturbing guests unnecessarily. For a more casual affair, there is alfresco dining on the upper deck for 8. DEEP BLUE II is equipped throughout with a full range of entertainment features and modern technology including zero speed stabilisers, WIFI, Ipod stations and stereo systems plus full entertainment systems in all living and accommodation areas. She is also equipped with a full complement of water toys.

Yacht Accommodation

Motor Yacht DEEP BLUE II (previously Deep Blue and "Ultimate") offers comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms. The master cabin is situated on the main deck and is equipped with a large king sized bed, his & hers bathroom one with a bath tub and a study. On the lower deck are two further Queen staterooms and two twins. The two queen staterooms are interconnected and are ideal for parents with children or nannies. All staterooms have ensuite bathrooms with bidets and one queen and one twin, are additionally furnished with a tub. Each cabin is equipped with a 32’ plasma screen TV with SKY satellite TV, WIFI internet and state of the art HiFi system.

This Oceanco beauty is the winner of the Best Semi Displacement Motoryacht over 40m award at the 1996 Showboats Awards. Deep Blue II was designed by The A Group, which was headed at the time by Richard Heinthe pioneer designer who was a central agent behind the tremendous success of the Oceanco yacht brand. The interior of the yacht was designed by the Milano based Paolo Rossi Studio, who made sure that this tri-deck yacht has “Italian style” throughout. Deep Blue II can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. These include a master suite, a VIP stateroom, two double cabins and a twin cabin. The master suite is a full beam expansive suite that is located on the main deck. The yacht can also provide accommodations for up to 9 crew members.

Deep Blue II is equipped with an on deck Jacuzzi, stabilizers underway as well as zero speed stabilizers, to ensure comfortable stay on board, whatever the sea state and WiFi throughout.

Charter superyacht DEEP BLUE II is a winner of the prestigious Showboats International Award for the best semi-displacement yacht over 40m, and a popular choice on the charter scene.  Custom-built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco in 1996, this spacious 43m yacht was fully refitted in 2017 in addition to regular yearly upgrades.

Spacious and versatile, DEEP BLUE II can accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in her four ensuite guest cabins. The vast master suite is located on the main deck. A private study leads into the stateroom which features a king-size bed and his & hers ensuite bathroom.

On the lower deck, an elegant full-beam VIP cabin can be conveniently converted into a fifth cabin for additional guests. The guest accommodation is also located on the lower deck and includes a double cabin and a twin cabin. All the staterooms are equipped with satellite TV, WIFI access, and a music system.

DEEP BLUE II also has accommodation on her lower deck for her long-standing crew of nine.

Relax in the spacious main salon which features a comfortable lounge area. Equipped with a plasma TV, the salon features a smart entertainment system that can be controlled at the touch of a button.

DEEP BLUE II has an elegant formal dining area for eight with an adjoining pantry. On the upper deck, the intimate skylounge has a bar plus a DJ station for onboard socialising and entertaining.

Exterior Enjoy an alfresco meal on the sheltered aft deck or sip cocktails on the upper deck as the sun sets over the ocean. Dive into the water from the large swim platform, take a dip in the spa pool or simply relax on the sunpads.

Equipped with an extensive selection of water toys and tenders, DEEP BLUE II has an enviable onboard toybox. Guest favourites include a 3-seater waverunner, jet ski, seabob, wakeboard, paddle boards, water trampoline and a large collection of inflatables.

DESCRIPTION

Designed by the A Group and built by Oceanco in 1996 the 43.78m all-aluminium tri-deck motor yacht DEEP BLUE II is a superb yacht that combines quality construction with thoughtful design. Internationally recognised at the Showboats Awards a few years ago, DEEP BLUE II was judged the best semi-displacement yacht over 40m. The interior layout can accommodate up to 10 guests in five cabins, one master suite, one VIP, one double, and one twin cabin. Also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard, this yacht is able to ensure a relaxed luxury experience. Its timeless styling, exquisite furnishing, and sumptuous seating combine to create a comfortable and elegant atmosphere throughout the ship. DEEP BLUE II has a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots, and for on-board comfort whether cruising or at anchor she is equipped with zero-speed stabilisers. Ideally equipped and outfitted the DEEP BLUE II is able to provide an unforgettable cruising experience in many West Mediterranean destinations.

€1M price drop on Oceanco motor yacht Deep Blue II

The 44 metre Oceanco motor yacht Deep Blue II , listed for sale by Edmiston & Company , has had a price reduction of €1 million.

Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Oceanco to a design by The A Group , Deep Blue II was delivered in 1996 and had a comprehensive refit in 2012. A further major refit in Spring 2019 saw her receive rebuilt engines, new generators, new aircon, an interior refit, new A/V systems and a redesigned sundeck.

ABS classed and MCA compliant, she can accommodate up to ten guests in a full-beam master suite, two doubles and two twins. The two doubles can also be combined to make one large suite by opening the sliding partition. All cabins have full en-suite bathroom facilities.

On the aft deck there is a dining table with a curved couch and four dining chairs, while to port and starboard there are staircases down to the integral swim platform. The formal saloon has comfortable white couches facing a centrally located television that pops up out of the cabinetry separating the saloon from the formal dining room. A pantry adjoining the dining room allows for ease of service and has access to the main deck galley forward. The galley is also equipped with a camera to the dining table to ensure discreet guest service.

On the upper deck the external dining and lounging area aft was part of the comprehensive refit and now provides for a combination of generous and flexible dining and lounging options. The skylounge has a bar to port and couch seating to starboard. The bridge is accessed forward to port, and the captain’s cabin is located behind the bridge to starboard.

Twin 2,250hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 15 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers.

Deep Blue II  is now asking €7,800,000.

You awake in one of two master suites, one on the upper deck with 180 degree views forward and the other on the main deck. Head for the upper deck aft for a delicious breakfast before settling in the sun lounge aft to discuss the day's plans with the captain. If the morning heat is too intense, start the day in the air conditioned main saloon at the formal dining table and make plans in the lounge opposite.

After breakfast, the children race eagerly down to the portside swim platform where the deck crew has prepared all the watertoys for a morning adrenaline rush. Other guests may choose to work out in the gym, or for an easier start to the day, head for the sauna and hammam where there is a massage table too.

In the afternoon, while the captain sails you to the next amazing destination, enjoy a movie in the main deck cinema lounge or catch up on some emails in the private owner's office on the bridge deck.

As dusk falls in your new anchorage, take in the spectacular sunset with a sundowner in the foredeck lounge and toast another amazing day before sampling the chef's gastronomic extravaganza on the upper deck aft.
