SAMARA Yacht for Charter

Luxury motor yacht SAMARA is a stunning power cat built by Pachoud Motor Yachts in 2015, with an interior designed by Sylvia Bolton and exterior styling by Scott Jutson Yacht Design. She is built with a fiberglass hull and GRP superstructure, providing a perfect combination of performance and luxury.

SAMARA stands out from the usual charter crowd and her multi-hull configuration offers over 4,000 square feet of deck space. Within her interior, she accommodates up to eight guests in four luxurious cabins. The beautifully appointed master suite includes his-and-hers sinks in the en-suite bath, a walk-in wardrobe and a private glass door, which leads to the Jacuzzi. Two queen suites are located forward in the port and starboard hulls, and a further double cabin with additional Pullman bunk is to aft in the starboard hull. Charter yacht SAMARA also provides comfortable accommodation for two crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Motor yacht SAMARA’s interior is bright and fresh. Utilizing a largely neutral color palette with accents of blue and turquoise, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating throughout the yacht has a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Named after the "winged seed of the Sycamore tree", this yacht was built to glide effortlessly, efficiently and steadily over long distances, in shallow waters thanks to a minimum draft. Packed with innovative features such as solar power technology and cork decks while also catering to the most adventurous or laid back cruisers, every type of guest will appreciate what this yacht has to offer. The volume is remarkable with 4000 square feet aboard – beyond that of larger monohulls and attributed to her 31’ beam versus the typical 20’. Stepping aboard the AFT DECK, there is an extra large al fresco dining area, well sheltered (plus eisinglass enclosure optional) alongside a full barbeque grill to starboard. Enjoy a cocktail or coffee at the full bar to starboard side or just appreciate the view. Entering the MAIN SALON brings everything to life with open plan galley and bar stools to starboard and the welcoming lounge area to port. Storage is ample throughout. A private glass door leads forward onto the Jacuzzi deck serving as a full Owner's deck and offers privacy with the subtle wrap around of superstructure design on both sides. Large petal-shaped loungers invited guests to relax in the sun or curl up and read a book in privacy. Forward below deck in the port and starboard hulls guests will find the comfort of two Queen staterooms, each en suite with spacious showers, toilet and ample storage in two closets and cabinetry. Aft in the starboard hull 2-3 more guests can find accommodation in a double bed with pullman bunk, also with en suite facilities. Moving up to the SUN DECK during the day is akin to stepping into a private garden in an exclusive villa. Two custom cabanas easily offer comfort to 3 adults each with shade as desired overhead and around. If more sun is preferred, two chaise and two comfortable bean bags can be positioned where guests wish. A ‘jump seat’ sunpad situated in front of the helm on this level also provides the best view from above. The grassy texture covering this deck is soothing and non-slip underfoot while also giving an ‘island’ feel. As the moon rises, this deck transforms to a whole new experience of its own. Not to forget the area where the most action occurs, the SWIM PLATFORM. Stepping aboard the AFT DECK, there is an extra large al fresco dining area, well sheltered (plus eisinglass enclosure optional) alongside a full barbeque grill to starboard. Enjoy a cocktail or coffee at the full bar to starboard side or just appreciate the view. Entering the MAIN SALON brings everything to life with open plan galley and bar stools to starboard and the welcoming lounge area to port. Concealed overhead is the 55" TV transforming this area for movie night or morning news while at the galley bar. There is easy access to a bayhead on this level just forward of the lounge as well. Make your way amidship forward into a cozy sunken, second lounge situated a few steps down from the main salon. A romantic fire place feature here on a blustery evening makes this lounge very inviting. A true sanctuary on the main deck is the forward facing MASTER suite with open plan from port to starboard bringing in the gorgeous views and natural light of outdoors, inside as well. To port is the ensuite Master bathroom with double sinks featuring designer waterfall taps, private toilet and stall shower. To starboard is a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and hanging closet. Storage is ample throughout. A private glass door leads forward onto the Jacuzzi deck serving as a full Owner's deck and offers privacy with the subtle wrap around of superstructure design on both sides. Large petal-shaped loungers invited guests to relax in the sun or curl up and read a book in privacy. Forward below deck in the port and starboard hulls guests will find the comfort of two Queen staterooms, each en suite with spacious showers, toilet and ample storage in two closets and cabinetry. Aft in the starboard hull 2-3 more guests can find accommodation in a double bed with pullman bunk, also with en suite facilities. Moving up to the SUN DECK during the day is akin to stepping into a private garden in an exclusive villa. Two custom cabanas easily offer comfort to 3 adults each with shade as desired overhead and around. If more sun is preferred, two chaise and two comfortable bean bags can be positioned where guests wish. A ‘jump seat’ sunpad situated in front of the helm on this level also provides the best view from above. Sean Staine

Sean grew up in the town of Hermanus, South Africa. Hermanus is a coastal town popular for its Southern Wright Whale watching. Growing up along the rugged coast cultured Sean an affinity for all water sports, especially kite-surfing, fishing and SCUBA; more specifically wreck diving. Sean spent many weekends fishing at a provincial level. With his hard training Sean was then recruited to be a part of a sponsored professional fishing team of South Africa. Each member of a fishing team brings their special skill sets. His specialization was shark (catch and release) and also edibles. For 3.5 years Sean worked as a rescue swimmer and a training coxswain for the South African Coast Guard. Being a rescue swimmer Sean used to jump out of helicopters to swim to peoples’ aid. He was involved in over 50 rescues. Sean started his Yachting career 8 years ago sailing on a 44 ft catamaran from South Africa to Fort Lauderdale taking 2 months. After 8 years in the industry Sean has a vast knowledge and a great passion to share with his guests and can’t wait to welcome you aboard Samara.

Sarah Bambrick

Sarah grew up in a small country town in South Australia. Growing up Sarah always had a love for sport and the outdoors. Sarah started her hospitality career in Australia and South East Asia for an international resort company for 6 years. The resort has a strong training motto allowing selected staff to train across all departments. Sarah was selected for one of these training positions and gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry Sarah also has a love for aerial acrobatics and performing. Whilst working for the resort she was also offered a position to train with the circus team. Sarah would teach guests flying trapeze lessons as well as performing in nightly Flying Trapeze and aerial circus shows. Wanting to see more of the world Sarah discovered yachting. She has been working on several yachts cruising throughout the Mediterranean, Bahamas, Caribbean and New York. Through her many years of hospitality experience Sarah is here to make your vacation a memorable one.

Grant Denyer

Grant was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He grew up traveling the coastline where he enjoyed surfing, swimming, sailing and boating. When Grant finished his final year of high school and was very happy to learn that he had been accepted to study a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship in a great university in Pretoria. Being a very sociable and driven person, he enjoyed the aspects of Entrepreneurship which allowed him to create a business he could call his own. Grants business direction was discovered when he was introduced to the beignet. He wanted to bring this amazing dessert to all South Africans. Grant found a niche market and created ‘Beignet Brothers’ food truck in which they would attend festivals and fetes all across the country.. Being very busy with his business Grant never got a chance to be on the water or travel. He ultimately sold his business and transferred his life to yachting to which he has never looked back. Grant loves being near the water and is looking forward to sharing this with you.

SAMARA - 80 Feet Luxury Yacht Charter

SAMARA is a very unique catamaran, a truly rare find. Coming in at 80 feet, the space is remarkable with 4,000 square feet aboard, beyond that of larger monohulls and attributed to her 31-foot beam versus the typical 20 feet. Packed with innovative features, such as solar power technology and cork decks while catering to the most adventurous or laid-back cruisers, every type of guest will appreciate what this yacht has to offer.

Until stepping aboard it is hard to imagine the comfort, quality and spaciousness of SAMARA, which was built to glide effortlessly and steadily over long distances and in shallow water thanks to a minimum draft. Built in 2016, she has four cabins, including a master suite and three double cabins that sleep up to eight guests.

A true sanctuary on the main deck is the forward facing master suite with open plan from port to starboard bringing in the beautiful views and natural light. The en-suite bathroom has double sinks featuring designer waterfall taps, as well as a private toilet and stall shower. There is a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and hanging closet with ample storage throughout the suite. A private glass door leads onto the Jacuzzi deck, serving as a full owner’s deck and offering privacy.

On the forward below deck in the port and starboard hulls, there are two queen staterooms, each with en-suite showers and toilets, as well as ample storage in two closets and cabinetry. Two to three more guests can find accommodation in the aft starboard hull in a suite that features a double bed with a Pullman bunk, also with en-suite facilities.

Out on the aft deck, there is an extra large alfresco dining area that is well sheltered, as well as a full barbeque grill. Entering the main salon, guests find an open plan galley and bar stools and a welcoming lounge area. Concealed overhead is a 55" TV, transforming this area into the perfect setting for a movie night or morning news while at the galley bar. This area also has easy access to a dayhead just forward of the lounge. A second lounge is situated a few steps down from the main salon. A cozy fireplace feature here make this lounge very inviting on a blustery evening.

Moving up to the sun deck to spend the day is like stepping into a private garden in a luxury villa. Two shaded cabanas easily accommodate up to three adults. If more sun is preferred, two comfortable chaise lounges and two bean bags can be positioned where guests wish. A ‘jumpseat’ sunpad situated in front of the helm on this level also provides the best view from above. The grassy texture covering the sun deck creates an island feel while also being soothing. As the sun sets, this deck transforms into a whole new experience. Whether experiencing movie night with the oversized cinema in position or a dinner under the stars, this is the most favored space aboard.

SAMARA also features an amazing swim platform that provides easy access to the water to enjoy a variety of activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and much more. A variety of water toys are available, including two wave runners, two paddle boards, two kayaks, a wakeboard, scuba gear, water skis, fishing equipment and inflatable water toys. With chairs and inflatable cushions this area can be transformed into the perfect beach club.

From bow to stern, the comfort, quality, and spaciousness of SAMARA become evident only upon stepping aboard. Named after the “winged seed of the Sycamore tree,” this yacht glides effortlessly and efficiently over long distances, maneuvering easily in shallow waters thanks to its minimum draft. Packed with innovative features such as solar power technology and cork decks, SAMARA caters to both adventurous and laid-back cruisers, offering a unique experience for every type of guest. The voluminous interior, encompassing 4000 square feet, rivals larger monohulls, attributed to its remarkable 31′ beam compared to the typical 20′.

The AFT DECK welcomes guests with an extra-large al fresco dining area, well-sheltered (optional isinglass enclosure) alongside a full barbecue grill to starboard. A full bar to the starboard side invites guests to enjoy a cocktail or coffee while appreciating the view. Stepping into the MAIN SALON reveals an open-plan galley with bar stools to starboard and a welcoming lounge area to port. A concealed 55″ TV transforms the space for movie nights or catching up on the morning news. A day head is conveniently located forward of the lounge. A few steps down from the main salon leads to a cozy sunken second lounge with a romantic fireplace, creating an inviting atmosphere.

A private glass door leads onto the Jacuzzi deck, serving as a full Owner’s deck with large petal-shaped loungers, inviting guests to relax in the sun or enjoy a book in privacy.

Below deck in the port and starboard hulls, guests discover the comfort of two Queen staterooms, each with ensuite facilities, spacious showers, toilets, and ample storage. Aft in the starboard hull, 2-3 additional guests can find accommodation in a double bed with a pullman bunk, also with ensuite facilities.

Moving up to the SUN DECK during the day provides a private garden feel, with two custom cabanas offering comfort to three adults each, chaise lounges, and bean bags for those who prefer more sun. An ‘island’ feel is created with a grassy-textured, non-slip deck underfoot. As the moon rises, the SUN DECK transforms into a unique experience, offering an oversized cinema for movie nights or an elegant dinner under the stars—this space is the most favored aboard by most.

The SWIM PLATFORM, where the most action occurs, features a hydraulic center stage for securing wave runners underway. Once lowered, this level becomes the easy access deck for SCUBA DIVING, water toys, tender boarding, and swim entry. Transforming this area with chairs and inflatable cushions creates the perfect BEACH CLUB. Each hull also provides a set of steps and a swim ladder for water access. SAMARA promises an unparalleled yachting experience, where every detail is crafted to exceed expectations.

Motor Yacht Samara - 2024 Charter Rates / Per Day

Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A) in amount of the charter fee (before discount) is to be paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee which includes all fuel and relevant costs for the yacht and its tenders, as well as all harbor expenses, customs, gratuity and other additional costs for the yacht, crew, client and guests during the entire charter period.

A.P.A. is obligatory for all luxury yachts and it is usually ranged for 30% of the charter price. The Client will be advised by the captain, at intervals, as to the disbursement of the A.P.A and will, if the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in light of current expenditure, pay to the captain, a sufficient sum to maintain an adequate credit balance. Prior to disembarkation at the end of the charter period, the captain shall present to the Client a detailed account of expenditures with as many supporting receipts as possible, and the Client will pay to the captain the balance of the expenses or the captain will repay to the Client any balance overpaid, as the case may be.

Payment for special requirements or equipment and/or shore transport and/or excursions and/or all other expenses not customarily considered part of the Yacht's costs may be required to be paid to the captain on board in addition to the charter fee and/or A.P.A.

Took the fam (wife, 3 kids 18, 15 & 6 and myself) on a 3-day 2-night circuit around Komodo National Park on the Samara. Hand-crafted boat was gorgeous and comfortable, staff were terrific, food was delicious and plentiful and the environment was just incredible. The personal touches of Fresa (Indonesian) & Marc (Swiss) came through in every detail and we can’t recommend it highly enough!

Definitely an experience that will never be forgotten! The room was always cool and the beds were clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, my children had no problem sleeping on the boat. We never had to worry about being hungry cause they serve abundant, delicious food from morning til’ evening. And to top if off, the entire crew was sensational! Very friendly and never hesitated to help us and to take care of the children. Thank you for the wonderful trip, we will definitely come back again someday

And the captain, Mr. Stefan always ensured that we were safe. We love the crew too, they are amazingly helpful. Description.

If you want to sail on a luxurious and beautiful vessel, we recommend that you take advantage of the Maldives yacht charter – yacht Samara 1 (Ferretti 881). Unique roof, modern design, quality interior materials using wood and leather. It has its own highlight – the beach platform, which forms a luxurious terrace at sea level.

The charter price includes:

• services of a highly qualified crew (captain, cook, chief mate and stewardess). Additional charge ( 30 % of the cost of renting a yacht Samara 1):
• fuel, port taxes outside the base harbor, food and drinks.

The 54.99m/180'5" motor yacht 'Samira' by the Dutch shipyard Amels offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 5 cabins and features interior styling by English designer Terence Disdale.

From bow to stern, Samira is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2003, Samira offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, one VIP cabin and three double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Samira is easy thanks to the available amenities including a piano, perfect for creating a relaxed atmosphere for you and your guests.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles from her 99,600 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots.

Samira knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with a selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Also there are three SEABOBs, offering a truly remarkable experience that lets you skim along the surface or swim with the fishes quietly and safely. If that isn't enough Samira also features wakeboards, inflatable water toys, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment.
