Utilizing American made pipe, the Galva-Hoist tanks come together in our shop once we have carefully calculated proper buoyancy to ensure your entire boat will be lifted free of the water. • The assembly process is fast and easy. Most of our dock systems can be assembled in just a few hours and some cases in as little as 30 minutes

Bunk Configuration

Duratek can lift any type of boat made –pontoons, tritoons, catamarans, deck boats, and V-hulls.

Slip Offset

Duratek has a solution for a big slip with a small boat, let us offset it to one side of the slip for you.

Arms built for the roughest waters. Our HD series comes standard with 2.5” arms. Mega arms are 3” arms with the 2.5” slotted in the 3” arms.

Back-In Configuration

For easy access to the rear platform of the boat while in the lifted position. A favorite with larger twin engine boats.

Monohull Boats or Catamarans: Which are Better for You?

Cats versus dogs, sweet versus savory, live bait versus artificial lures ; there are certainly more than enough topics to be divided on, and catamarans (cats) versus monohull vessels is yet another worth adding to your list. As a boater, the waters you travel, and the purposes for which you do so, play heavily into your choice of vessel. Hopefully, we can shed a bit of light on the differences, pros and cons on these vessel varieties in order to ensure that you buy the right boat for the job.

• Cats are, generally, much more stable than monohulls due to the weight displacement offered by multiple hulls.
• The cabin space in cats are often much wider and situated above the waterline, providing added comfort for cruising or enjoying a day on the water and sunshine.
• Cats, even capsized, very rarely sink, due to high buoyancy.
• Historically, cats are notorious for the risk of capsizing , though modern designs have greatly improved their safety.
• Due to these vessels being wider than many monohulls, they may be a bit trickier to dock.
• The price of monohulls is often lower than comparably sized cats.
• Monohulls provide a traditional “feel” while boating, which many prefer to the flatter plane provided in a cat.
• Though cats are more stable, monohulls don’t slap the water as much when cruising at higher speeds.
• Monohulls are far less stable that cats while on the water.
• The risk of sinking is much higher in a monohull, whether from a leak or after capsizing.
• Due to the fact that most of the main living space in a monohull is below the waterline, these spaces can often feel claustrophobic.

Like so much in boating (and life), the decision really comes down to personal preference. We recommend taking a trip on both varieties in order to see which vessel best fits the feel that you’re looking for while on the water. Prefabricated Aluminum Cradle Bunk has an aluminum frame with a black vinyl pad attached to the top with aluminum rivets. Features a 19-degree angle that securely fits the boat hull when docking. Made from 6061-T6 US aluminum. No rust or wood rot worries with the vinyl pad.

The 2.7" x 8" x 12' aluminum bunk work with the 5k to 13k boat lifts and are sold individually. Comes with the hardware to attach to the bunk bracket (bracket not included).

Two important events saw the Mangusta Maxi Open by the prominent Italian builder Overmarine again protagonist on the nautical scene: Marine Max exclusive partner for the United States attended the Palm Beach Boat Show , running from March 22 to 25 with the spectacular motor yacht Mangusta 92 and the Mangusta 130 superyacht on display. Burevestnik Group, on the other hand, was the star of the Moscow International Boat Show , taking place from March 20 to 25 exhibiting the scale models of the luxury yacht Mangusta Oceano 148, the superyacht Mangusta 92, the Mangusta 165 as well as Mangusta 130 yachts.
