It would take the sale of approximately 5.75 million HP ink cartridges to fund the $92 million purchase of superyacht Secret , currently listed for sale with Burgess. The ink cartridges were one of Walmart’s top-selling products in 2021, and might well have contributed to a successful year of yachting for Secret ’s owner, Walmart heiress and philanthropist Nancy Walton Laurie.

As the largest yacht on display at last month’s MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona, and one of three yachts reportedly owned by Laurie, the 271-foot beauty built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 2013 provides some insight into the family’s tastes and preferences.

The main salon’s bold color scheme by interior designer Jim Harris mixes pillar-box red sofas and carpets with ornate gold wall art. It’s a brave step change from the neutral beige and gray tones often selected by owners, typically with resale value in mind.

The designers also moved the formal dining room to the upper deck, leaving a large entertaining space to watch sports and socialize. A monochrome marble bar with a glass backdrop, views to the main deck aft and an onboard mixologist all help to set the tone. When it comes onboard socializing, Secret pulls no punches.

Guests arrive via the lower deck beach club or the main deck side entrance, where luggage can be ushered into the color-coded lower deck guest cabins. There are some unusual perks to being a guest aboard Secret . Heated bathroom floors feature across all guest suites, while guest mattresses are singles that zip together into doubles for greater flexibility.

The upper-deck, full-beam master suite, named Chanel to reflect the black-and-champagne silk color scheme, is highly personalized. Separate his and her en suites have their own amenities: Hers has a full-sized bath, and his has higher countertops to accommodate former basketball player and owner Bill Laurie’s 6’ 4” height. Both have steam showers. The private office is considerably smaller than the VIP office to accommodate the owner’s request for an oversized walk-in wardrobe.

The most surprising area on board is the “Valentina” main deck VIP guest suite, named after the Valentina-inspired white spiked headboard. The master has sea views and a private terrace, but the full-beam VIP, decorated and claimed by Laurie’s adult daughter when her family is on board, is arguably the superior option. It shares the same footprint as the master but enjoys a greater attention to detail. The ensuite, decorated in black-and-white stripes, has two day heads—one with bidet—and a central wet room fitted with a shower and full-sized bathtub.

The monochrome décor is echoed throughout the yacht, from the upper-deck sky lounge to the guest hallways. In the 12-person cinema, red Porsche leather armchairs are mirrored in the leather ceiling panels. The dedicated treatment room enjoys an onboard beautician and masseuse who specializes in hot Swedish massage.

A glass elevator connects the lower deck to the bridge deck, where an indoor glass-fronted gym and outdoor pool are located. For sundown soaks, the sun deck Jacuzzi ticks the box.

Last refitted in 2018, the yacht started out life at 256 feet, with an additional 16 feet added to accommodate the owner’s choice of an aft deck dining table. It’s the preferred space to enjoy buffet-style breakfasts, protected from view by high bulwarks. Further al fresco dining for 14 people is available on the lower deck beach club, where a “dining under the stars” themed evening sees guests enjoy meals at the water’s edge beneath a blanket of twinkling LEDs and real constellations above.

For families and guests with a competitive spirit, the beach club, equipped with changing rooms and rain showers, is the center of watersports action. A serious collection of toys, including kneeboards, flyboards, trampolines and towables are matched by an inflatable assault course erected by the crew for “Sports Olympics.” The addition of a female water-sports instructor has proven popular with charter guests.  When the weather’s bad, the karaoke system comes to the rescue.

It’s no secret that smaller yachts in the 190-foot size range are proving more popular on the global charter market at present, preferred for their ability to access smaller ports and anchor close to shore. But Secret pulls out all the stops for guests looking to enjoy time aboard a yacht maxed out with amenities and personality, provided in a covert setting. All in all, definitely worth the printer cartridges.

The SECRET yacht interior was designed by J.W HARRIS INC and built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 2013. The luxury designer Sam Sorgiovanni penned the exterior design of the lavish yacht.

The interior styling of the SECRET yacht is executed by Jim Harris from J.W HARRIS INC. The yacht offers luxury spaces for guests to enjoy throughout the vessel.

She has accommodation for 12 guests in 1 master suite, 1 VIP suite, four doubles, and one triple suite.

The SECRET has a capacity for 23 highly trained crew. The yacht has an elevator that makes getting between the five decks of the vessel accessible and a state-of-the-art movie theatre for guests to enjoy.

Guests can enjoy a fully equipped gym on the bridge deck and a massage room on the main deck. The deck spaces are versatile and can be used for several activities to enjoy while sailing.

There is an impressive tender garage, and scuba diving equipment is on board. The yacht is capable of global cruising and ensures the most luxurious experience while onboard the SECRET. 

The exterior of the SECRET yacht was designed by  Sam Sorgiovanni , an exclusive luxury designer based in Australia.

Her naval architecture was penned by Abeking & Rasmussen and delivered from their shipyard in 2013.

The exterior has sleek lines, with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The SECRET also features an impressive underwater light display when night falls.

The $110 million superyacht has an annual $10 – $15 million annual running cost.

The 82.48m SECRET yacht has a beam of 12.4m and a 3.45m draft. The yacht has a volume of 2240 gross tons and a cruising speed of 14 knots.

Her maximum speed is 16.5 knots, with a range of 5000 nautical miles. SECRET has a Lloyd’s Classification and was last refitted in 2021.

82.5m Abeking & Rasmussen motor yacht Secret sold

The 82.5 metre Abeking & Rasmussen motor yacht Secret has been sold by Matt Emerson at Burgess with Andrew Bond at Fraser introducing the new owner.

Featuring an exterior by Sam Sorgiovanni , Secret was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Abeking & Rasmussen to Lloyds class and delivered in 2013. She completed her five-year class survey in 2018 and benefited from a top-to-toe repaint in 2017.

Designer  Jim Harris  developed a flexible interior layout accommodating up to 12 guests in seven cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, four doubles and a guest cabin suitable for three children or staff. All of the en suite guest cabins come with entertainment centres and Sony television screens and crew quarters sleep up to 25 staff.

The main saloon is ready to host large events with an abundance of seating carefully laid out for guests to circulate throughout. A sit-up bar facing the aft deck and a chandelier complete this space with a red, black and gold theme. A formal dining room is located in an intimate space kept separate from the saloon, or alternatively, guests can enjoy lunch served al fresco dining space on the upper deck.

Among her many other features, she is equipped with a cinema, gymnasium, elevator and beauty room. Though Secret 's crowning jewel is her sun deck where guests will find a raised Jacuzzi, sit-up bar and a love seat shaded by a retractable umbrella forward.

Elsewhere, Secret 's lower decks are serviced by a state-of-the-art elevator, while an aft garage houses two 9.9 metre tenders.

Twin 1,492hp Caterpillar diesel engines enable a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 16.5 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers.

Secret  was asking €78,500,000.

The 74m/242'9" motor yacht 'New Secret' was built by Amels in the Netherlands at their Vissingen shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house Winch Design and she was completed in 2017. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tim Heywood Design.

We found the secret yacht on Trip Advisor because I wanted to surprise my partner for our anniversary. It was certainly a surprise for him and my expectations were exceeded by the attention of the staff on the privately owned yacht. Leonor, the owner of the boat, arranged our pick up and drop off service from the hotel. She catered snacks for very picky eaters and food, bread, cheese, cake, drinks and fruit were available. The boat trip took a lovely 6 hours and I think there was plenty of room for 12 people, we were very lucky as there were only 6 of us so it really felt like the boat was all to ourselves at some points. Thanks Leanor and team 🙂 will be sure to look for you when I return to Grand Can.

Fantastic Experience

9 adults and 2 children, 7 & 4 had the pleasure of travelling on this yacht today. The experience was fantastic and the owner and her crew could not of done more for us and accommodated us better. One member was 77 and one child a coeliac but nothing was too much trouble. They thoroughly looked after us in every way from making sure we were comfortable to feeding us and even assisting when some of the party suffered from sea or motion sickness. This is a definite to do again and will do so the next time we are in Gran Canaria. So much more personal then the big catamaran cruises you often see.

Beautiful Yacht

Only recently back from Gran Canaria & this was one of our best experiences of the trip. The yacht is absolutely beautiful & you can tell the crew love their job. We were in a group of 6 & had the yacht to ourselves. There was plenty of drink to go around & the food was lovely. It was a misty evening when we sailed so we didn't get to see the sunset. The crew apologized for this but it didn't bother us as the trip all in all was beautiful. The crew made sure we were comfortable & gave us blankets near the end of the evening as it start to get a little nippy. I would highly recommend this trip & thank you to the crew for the great experience!

Crossing in Maspalomas

Impressive cruise, excellent hostess with an exquisite treatment and all the services to make the crossing an unforgettable event.

Very nice quality and price because it is only like 10€ more than a boat full of tourists. Drinks and food included. There's room for a nap if someone has to sleep, like little ones. The crew picks you up from hotel and bring you back after wards. I recommend to rent this boat If you want to enjoy your day without other turists.

When the US targeted Russia’s oligarchs after the invasion of Ukraine, the trail of assets kept leading to our own backyard. Not only had our nation become a haven for shady foreign money, but we were also incubating a familiar class of yacht-owning, industry-dominating, resource-extracting billionaires. In the  January + February 2024  issue of our magazine, we investigate the rise of American Oligarchy—and what it means for the rest of us. You can read all the pieces  here .

The luxury yacht may be the world’s most exclusive form of transportation. But there are only a hundred-some that meet the definition of a gigayacht—a pleasure craft 295 feet or longer. Their opaque ownership records offer a glimpse of modern wealth and power: Over two dozen are linked to Gulf royals, businessmen, or states, and 20 to citizens (past or current) of the former Soviet Union. At least 23 have reportedly belonged to Americans, including founders of Microsoft, Netscape, Amazon, WhatsApp, and Snapchat. The widow of a German retailer who thrived under Hitler owned one; a UK tax exile and a Formula 1 dad still do. Yugoslav strongman Tito’s old yacht makes the list; Dominican dictator Trujillo’s does too. Take a cruise through the history of the vessels and their—somewhat—more modest sister ships.

1895: Nineteen years before World War I, the future King Edward VII of England punches his nephew, Kaiser Wilhelm II, in the face, after the German’s 121-foot yacht, Meteor II , defeats the royal Britannia in a race off the Isle of Wight.

1954: Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis ushers in an era of postwar one-upmanship with his 325-foot Christina O . It features a pool that converts into a dance floor, furniture made from whale foreskin, and pornographic carvings.

1963: During his final birthday party aboard the presidential yacht Sequoia , JFK chases future Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee’s wife, Antoinette, into the bathroom and gropes her. “I guess I was pretty surprised, but I was kind of flattered, and appalled, too,” she says later. The ship’s visitor logs are destroyed after Kennedy’s assassination.

1984: King Fahd of Saudi Arabia builds the record-breaking 482-foot Prince Abdulaziz .

1987: Sen. Gary Hart (D-Colo.) drops out of the presidential race just before photos emerge of him with model Donna Rice aboard the yacht Monkey Business .

1988: Donald Trump acquires Nabila , which previously belonged to the Saudi arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi and was featured in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again . He renames it Trump Princess , adds a disco, and changes the helipad’s “H” to a “T.”

1991: After one of Trump’s casinos files for bankruptcy, he sells Trump Princess to his bank—which flips it to a Saudi prince. A new yacht, the Trump Princess II , which he boasted would be “something in excess of 400 feet long, closer to 500 feet,” is never built.

British publisher Robert Maxwell’s body is found in the Atlantic Ocean, where he had been cruising on a 180-footer named for his daughter—the Lady Ghislaine . The vessel is eventually resold to Anna Murdoch, Rupert’s second wife.

1994: At a cocktail party on the oligarch Petr Aven’s yacht in the Caribbean, Boris Berezovsky meets Roman Abramovich, calling him a “nice boy who wanted to discuss commercial projects.” He and Abramovich begin working together to acquire Sibneft, a Russian state oil company.

1997: Construction ends on The Limited and Victoria’s Secret owner Les Wexner’s ­316-foot Limitless . The project was overseen by his good friend Jeffrey Epstein.

1999: Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison buys the 191-foot Izanami from a Japanese seller. He changes the name to Ronin , he said later , after “the local newspapers started pointing out that Izanami was ‘I’m a Nazi’ spelled backwards.”

2001: Months before Enron files for bankruptcy, former CEO Jeffrey Skilling asks a company executive for advice on finding a yacht broker. “This industry is known for crooks and thieves,” he warns Skilling.

2002: House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Texas) promises to strip “corporate kingpins of their ill-gotten gains,” after scandals rock Enron and WorldCom. “We’re coming after the yacht.”

2003: DeLay charges donors $500,000 a pop for tickets to a yacht cruise.

2005: Ellison shoots down rumors he issued orders midconstruction to have his newest yacht, the 454-foot Rising Sun , extended to outdo Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s recently launched 414-foot Octopus .

Rep. Duke Cunningham (R-Calif.) pleads guilty to federal bribery charges after being caught living rent-free on a yacht, called the Duke-Stir , that was moored in Washington, DC, and owned by a defense contractor.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s 531-foot Dubai surpasses Prince Abdulaziz as the world’s longest yacht.

2006: Media mogul Barry Diller reveals the world’s longest sailing yacht, the 305-foot Eos , whose prow features a 9-foot-tall sculpture of his wife, Diane von Furstenberg.

2007: Diller opens a Manhattan corporate headquarters­­ at a Frank Gehry­–designed building that itself has been likened to a sailboat . It’s across the street from where Eos ties up.

2008: George Osborne, the No. 2 official in the UK’s Conservative Party, relaxes on Russian aluminum magnate Oleg Deripaska’s yacht while vacationing with his family in Greece. He denies an accusation that he solicited funds, explaining in a statement that they discussed “Russian history” and drank tea.

2009: As his marriage falls apart, Tiger Woods retreats to a 155-foot yacht called Privacy .

2010: Abramovich’s new ship, Eclipse , surpasses Dubai as the world’s longest yacht. The 533-foot vessel features a submarine, anti-missile systems, and lasers to thwart paparazzi .

2011: During an unsuccessful suit seeking $5 billion he believed Abramovich owed him from the sale of Sibneft, an exiled Berezovsky claims that his former partner helped purchase the yacht Olympia for Vladimir Putin. When the BBC publishes a supporting account from another Russian businessman five years later, Abramovich’s lawyers dismiss the allegation as “a rehash of speculation and rumours.”

2012: As GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney faces criticism for holding investment funds in the Cayman Islands, his campaign invites donors to party on Cracker Bay . The ship, owned by the founder of The Villages retirement community, flies the Cayman Islands’ flag.

2013: UAE leader Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan launches the 593-foot Azzam , surpassing the Eclipse .

2014: The Wall Street Journal reports that Ellison has basketball hoops on “at least two of his yachts” and had someone follow in a smaller boat “to retrieve balls that go overboard.”

2016: Allen’s Tatoosh drags its anchor through a protected zone in the Cayman Islands, destroying 14,000 square feet of coral.

2017: After leaving office, Barack and Michelle Obama retreat to the South Pacific aboard David Geffen’s yacht, where they’re joined by Oprah, Tom Hanks, and Bruce Springsteen.

Abramovich’s business partner, Eugene Shvidler, blocks views of the Statue of Liberty while anchoring his 370-foot Le Grand Bleu in New York Harbor for a month.

Addressing the national Boy Scout Jamboree, Trump tells an anecdote widely assumed to allude to sex parties on a yacht belonging to the developer of the Levittown suburbs. “You’re Boy Scouts, so I’m not going to tell you what he did,” he said. “But you know life.”

Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-Fla.) buys a yacht and on the same day votes to cut taxes on yachts.

2018: Rupert Murdoch is airlifted to UCLA after collapsing on a yacht trip with his fourth wife, Jerry Hall. “He kept almost dying,” a source tells Vanity Fair .

Someone unties Seaquest , a superyacht belonging to Trump administration Secretary of Education (and billionaire) Betsy DeVos, causing it to crash into a dock on Lake Erie.

Businessman Jho Low, who financed The Wolf of Wall Street , is accused of taking part in a $4.5 billion scheme to siphon Malaysian state development funds and using some to purchase a $250 million yacht.

During a bitter divorce, the Daily Mail reports that Tatiana Akhmedova, wife of the Russian Azerbaijani billionaire Farkhad Akhmedov, hired a team of British special forces veterans to seize his yacht, Luna , in an effort to enforce a Marshall Islands court ruling. They settle instead, and he keeps the boat.

Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly gifted himself a $300 million megayacht, dubbed “Launchpad,” ahead of his 40th birthday.

The staggering 387-foot-long vessel was seen floating at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after arriving at its berth earlier this week, The Sun reported Thursday.

The multi-layered luxury ship’s sleek exterior was designed by Espen Øino International and boasts a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, according to SuperYacht Times.

Reportedly ranking as the 45th largest yacht in the world, the interiors are just as aesthetically pleasing and reportedly executed by Zuretti Interior Design company, a France-based company specializing in unique and custom yacht design.

The breathtakingly beautiful floater stands out with a navy blue theme matching an American flag perched proudly on its wood-paneled stern.

There are several outdoor areas where the social media maven will be able to relax with his family and the indoor levels feature glass paneling allowing for tons of natural light.

There also appears to be a helipad perfect for whenever the Facebook co-founder wants to travel to his vessel by air.

The Feadship-built yacht, built in 2022, can comfortably fit 24 guests aboard, requires a crew of 48, and is said to cost $30 million a year for upkeep and usage, according to Superyachtfan.com .

Boatworld insiders have been buzzing with speculation that Zuckerberg is the owner of the newly minted mega-cruise ever since it made its main voyage from the Netherlands last week.

The tech titan was spotted touring the Russian-commissioned megayacht in early March, though the impressive boat didn’t arrive stateside until this week due to sanctions, according to The Sun.

The website reported that Zuckerberg purchased the pricey yacht – along with its own $30 million partner boat — most likely as an early 40th birthday present to himself.

The boat reportedly traveled to Florida after being granted special permission to be imported just weeks ahead of Zuckerberg’s birthday on May 14.

Zuckerberg’s yacht is just 30 feet shorter than the length of fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos’ 417-foot megayacht Koru, which the Amazon boss snagged for a whopping $500 million.

Zuckerberg’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The superyacht world is speculating that Mark Zuckerberg just bought this 118-meter boat

In the world of superyachts , privacy is the most valuable asset. It can be next to impossible to discern the details of a superyacht transaction — and that's particularly true if the vessel in question is worth nine figures.

Yet some in the boat blogging world are speculating that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is the new owner of Launchpad, a megayacht currently moored in Fort Lauderdale, Florida after she made her maiden voyage from Gibraltar to St Maarten last week. Launchpad clocks in at 118 meters long, about nine meters shorter than Jeff Bezos' superyacht Koru .

The transaction could not be confirmed, with yacht world insiders declining to share what they know and representatives for Zuckerberg not responding to a request for comment from Business Insider. In the past, reports about Zuckerberg owning superyacht Ulysses have proven false.

"It is Feadship's standard policy to never divulge any information about our yachts with reference to ownership, costs, or delivery, etc," Feadship, the ship's builder, wrote to BI. "Whether it is an 18-meter Feadship from the 1960s or a 118-meter Feadship from the 21st century, we do not share private information."

But Zuckerberg's name has been connected to Launchpad for a few months now, beginning in December when reports swirled that he visited Feadship's shipyard in the Netherlands.

Then, earlier in March, yachting bloggers like eSysman SuperYachts and Autoevolution started speculating that he officially snagged the boat, originally built for a sanctioned Russian businessman, at a $300 million price tag. (While that's a seemingly huge amount, it's still less than 0.2% of Zuckerberg's $177 billion net worth.)

Another clue that might point to US ownership is that the yacht bears the flag of the Marshall Islands, a US territory and commonplace for American buyers to register their ships, according to public marine tracking.

If Zuckerberg were to have bought Launchpad, he would join a cohort of superyacht-owning tech billionaires . Along with Bezos, the likes of Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison and Google cofounders Sergey Brin and Larry Page have purchased impressive boats with even more impressive amenities.

SuperYacht Times , an industry publication and intelligence platform, has some of the best images of the yacht. Photos show a swimming pool on her main deck and a large helipad.

While less is known of the interior, a vessel of her size can likely sleep dozens of guests and crew and may have amenities like an expansive gym where Zuckerberg could practice his jiu-jitsu or a spa with a massage area. We suspect there's also space for plenty of toys — which could include his viral hydrofoil foil .

What we know about Diddy’s sex trafficking allegations

Before federal agents raided sean combs’s homes on monday, the famed producer had been accused of sex trafficking in several recent lawsuits.

Armored trucks, helicopters, and swarms of federal agents and police descended upon Sean “Diddy” Combs’s Los Angeles home on Monday — part of a bicoastal raid carried out by the Department of Homeland Security, which also searched his Miami residence. A law enforcement official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation, said the searches are part of a sex trafficking investigation.

Combs has long been considered one of the most influential people in the music industry: a Grammy-winning producer and artist with a reputation for throwing lavish, star-studded parties. But over the last four months, the hip-hop mogul, who also has gone by the stage names Puff Daddy, Puffy and P. Diddy, has been the focus of five lawsuits alleging physical abuse, sexual violence and sex trafficking. The accusations span more than 30 years, from 2023 back to the start of Combs’s career in the early ’90s, when he was a wunderkind producer at Uptown Records. Combs has denied all the allegations against him.

Combs attorney Aaron Dyer called the searches a “a gross overuse of military-level force” and “a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.” He noted that his client has not been arrested, and he added: “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

But some experts think Diddy could soon face even more trouble.

“For them to actually go this far to a raid on property, they have to have some really clear reason for that. It has to be justified,” said Ann Olivarius, an attorney with more than 30 years experience with sexual harassment cases.

Here’s what we know about the sex trafficking allegations against Combs.

Lawsuits accuse Combs of drugging and sex trafficking people

Five lawsuits alleging sexual assault have been filed against Combs in the last four months. Two were filed in the New York County court, with both complainants alleging that Combs had raped them in the early ’90s, when he was still an up-and-coming producer at Uptown Records.

Three were filed with the Southern District of New York’s federal court, alleging that Combs not only sexually assaulted the plaintiffs, but also trafficked them or forced them to traffic others.

Cassie, an R&B singer who was once signed to Combs’s Bad Boy label, said she endured more than a decade of “abuse, violence and sex trafficking” in a lawsuit filed on Nov. 16, 2023. She said she and Combs met when she was 19 and he was 37, and they dated from 2007 to 2018. As the head of the record company to which she was signed, Combs was also Cassie’s boss.

In her lawsuit, Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, accused Combs of forcing her to participate in sex parties, which he referred to as “freak-offs.” For these events, Cassie alleged that Combs would make her and his employees fly male sex workers to him “in multiple cities in the United States as well as abroad.”

According to the lawsuit, Combs would give Cassie ecstasy, cocaine, ketamine, marijuana, alcohol and other drugs in “excessive amounts” during these parties. For Cassie to recover from these encounters, “it became commonplace to get IV fluids in the days after,” the lawsuit says.

Combs also physically abused Cassie at these parties, the lawsuit alleges. One party in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 allegedly ended in a fight that was caught on hotel cameras; Cassie claims that Combs paid the hotel $50,000 afterward for its security footage.

Combs vehemently denied Cassie’s allegations, calling them “offensive” and “outrageous” and accusing the singer of “seeking a payday.” Combs and Cassie reached a settlement the next day, the details of which have not been disclosed. Other suits are ongoing.

The Style section

A month later, a woman identified only as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs and others coerced her into flying from Detroit to New York City to hang out with him at his studio in 2003, when she was 17.

At the time, Combs was already an established hip-hop mogul and media personality — his reality show, “Making the Band,” had debuted three years earlier, and he was credited with helping launch the careers of hip-hop legends such as the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige and Lil’ Kim.

According to the lawsuit, once the young woman arrived at the studio, Combs, Harve Pierre, who later became the president of Bad Boy Records, and a third unnamed assailant got her inebriated “to the point that she could not possibly have consented to having sex with anyone,” and took turns raping her. Afterward, she was taken to an airport and flown back to Michigan, the lawsuit says.

“Let me absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged,” Combs said in a statement in December, which called the accusations “sickening.” His attorneys have moved to have the lawsuit dismissed.

Pierre also denied the woman’s accusations, calling them “a tale of fiction.”

Another suit was filed in February by Rodney Jones, a music producer who worked on Combs’s most recent project, “The Love Album.” The lawsuit claims that he was forced to “solicit sex workers and perform sex acts to the pleasure of Mr. Combs” from 2022 to 2023. According to the lawsuit, Jones believes that Combs drugged him before some of these sexual encounters. Jones alleges that Combs coerced him into recruiting sex workers by promising money, property and career advancement, as well as by threatening physical harm: “[Combs] threatened to eat Mr. Jones face.”

In a statement shared with CNN, Combs’s attorney Shawn Holley denied the allegations: “We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies,” he said.

According to Jones’s lawsuit, underage girls were present at these sex parties, which took place in Combs’s homes in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, as well as a yacht he had rented in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Trafficking victims were filmed, some lawsuits claim

Several lawsuits allege that Combs had a penchant for filming sexual encounters and sharing them with others. Cassie and Jones claim that recordings were made at his sex parties and that practice was part of Combs’s attempt to control those involved.

According to Cassie’s lawsuit, Combs would film her with male sex workers and gave her explicit directions on what to wear, do and say. These encounters were allegedly filmed on Combs’s phone, laptop and tablets, and occasionally on Cassie’s phone. When Cassie deleted photographs and videos of these acts, Combs “made clear that he retained many videos” of these encounters , according to the suit.

“On one occasion, he sat next to her on a flight and made her watch a video she thought she had deleted, reinforcing her inability to escape and the immense power he held over her,” the lawsuit reads.

In his lawsuit, Jones alleges that Combs had hidden cameras “in every room of his homes.” (According to the lawsuit, Jones lived with Combs for months at a time while he was working for Combs.)

Jones believes that those working for Combs were filmed without their knowledge and consent, as were those who participated in Combs’s sex parties, the lawsuit says.

These recordings, if they exist, would be of particular interest to federal investigators, said Deborah Tuerkheimer, a law professor at Northwestern University. If the DHS investigation goes to trial, “that’s powerful corroborative evidence that depicts the kind of abuse that the accusers are describing.”

Many people were knowledgeable or involved in trafficking rings, lawsuits say

The lawsuits against Combs claim that many people in his circle helped facilitate his abusive behavior.

In Jane Doe’s suit, she alleges that it was Pierre, Combs’s right-hand man at Bad Boy, who first approached her at a Detroit-area lounge. Pierre introduced the woman to Combs over the phone and coerced her into flying out to meet him, she claims.

Cassie alleges that Combs’s employees witnessed him beating her and would attend to her afterward. He also required Cassie and his staff to help him arrange sex workers for his parties, her lawsuit says.

Jones also alleges that Combs ordered his staff to recruit sex workers for parties, and that some were responsible for supplying illicit drugs. According to the lawsuit, Combs’s chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, required all his employees — including chefs, butlers and housekeepers — to walk around with a pouch or fanny pack filled with drugs so Combs could have his “drug of choice” whenever he wanted.

Khorram is one of nearly 30 co-defendants in Jones’s lawsuit, a list that includes Universal Music CEO Lucian Grainge, Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam and Combs’s eldest son, Justin Combs.

A rep for Justin Combs told the Los Angeles Times, “Justin Combs categorically denies these absurd allegations.” Khorram, Grainge, Habtemariam and Pierre did not respond to requests for comment.

With federal investigators looking into Sean “Diddy” Combs in a sex trafficking investigation after multiple women and at least one man accused him of bad behavior, the hip-hop mogul is drawing comparisons to Jeffrey Epstein.

Like Epstein, a financier who had his own private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Combs has been accused of luring victims with his luxurious lifestyle and – in some cases – assaulting them aboard a yacht he rented for trips to the Virgin Islands and Saint Barthelemy. 

Some of the most explosive allegations have come from a February lawsuit producer Lil Rod, whose real name is Rodney Jones, filed against Combs, alleging a pattern of sexual assaults and sex trafficking he claims are recorded on hidden cameras throughout the mogul’s homes.

Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami were raided earlier this week in connection with a federal human trafficking investigation, months after similar accusations emerged in a series of lawsuits.

The lawsuit also alleges Combs had an aide who played a role similar to Ghislaine Maxwell’s, Epstein’s madame who is now a convicted trafficker.

Just a few weeks ago, Combs, 54, was riding high, receiving the ceremonial key to New York City and celebrating the release of his first album in years on the same day.

“The bad boy of entertainment is getting the key to the city from the bad boy of politics,” Mayor Eric Adams said as he presented a giant key to Combs in Times Square, according to FOX 5 New York.

“He escaped a lot because of who he was,” said Derrick Parker, a former member of the NYPD’s rap intelligence unit who investigated the 1999 nightclub shooting that landed Combs and Jennifer Lopez in handcuffs. “Now, a lot of stuff is just coming back to him.”

From a deadly stampede early in his career, to a nightclub shooting where a protégé took the fall and recent sex trafficking allegations, Bad Boy Records founder Combs has largely prevailed in his legal battles. 

Combs has been acquitted of gun and bribery charges and been mentioned in connection with hip-hop feuds that led to real-life violence without being implicated in any crimes.

But the recent lawsuits kicked off a federal investigation that resulted in raids on his mansions in Los Angeles and Miami last week. Combs and his lawyers denied any misconduct.

The hip-hop icon and founder of Bad Boy Records rose to prominence in the music industry in the early 1990s, then branched out into clothing design, liquor and other businesses, making himself a billionaire.

He came from humble beginnings. His early rise to prominence involved a feud between emerging hip-hop stars on the country’s East and West coasts. 

In 1991, Combs promoted a benefit event at the City College of New York that turned deadly when an altercation in the crowd led to a stampede of fans that crushed eight people to death.

Combs and girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were arrested in New York City in 1999 on weapons and bribery charges after an altercation with another man led to a gunfight at Club New York that injured three people.

The couple left, but after blowing a red light, police found a gun in their car.

Paul Mauro, a retired NYPD inspector and now a Fox News contributor, happened to be working in the same precinct the following morning but was not involved in the investigation.

“Diddy was not there, I remember that,” he recalled. “She was all distraught. I just remember she had her head down, and I have this recollection of her looking very small and very, very diminutive and kind of shellshocked.”

Police held Lopez for about 14 hours before releasing her without charges. Combs was later indicted and then acquitted of gun charges and of bribing his bodyguard to take the fall.

His friend, rapper Shyne, wound up in prison for assault in connection with the bar brawl and recorded part of his next album behind bars.

One of the three people wounded in the Club New York shooting, Natania Reuben, told NewsNation Thursday that it was Combs’ bullet that struck her, not Shyne’s , whose real name is Jamal Barrow.

“I literally watched them pull out the guns,” she told the station. “I had a clear point of view. I mean, for God’s sake, I got shot in my nose.”

Even after becoming a well-established leader in the music industry, allegations of violence continued to follow Combs. Police in Los Angeles arrested Diddy in 2015 after he allegedly attacked an assistant coach at the University of California’s LA campus with a kettlebell. He claimed self-defense, and the district attorney declined to prosecute.

Jones, in his lawsuit, alleges Combs continued exhibiting violent tendencies in 2022 and 2023.

Last year, his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed an explosive federal lawsuit alleging rape, forced prostitution and physical abuse. They settled the lawsuit a day later — without Combs admitting wrongdoing.

But more allegations emerged of abuse spanning decades.

Joi Dickerson-Neal filed another lawsuit, alleging Diddy drugged, raped and abused her on tape while she was a college student at Syracuse University in 1991.

Another woman, Liza Gardner, also filed a lawsuit, claiming Combs allegedly coerced her into having sex at a party and that his friend also raped her. Days later, according to the civil complaint, Combs allegedly beat her up.

He was also named in a third lawsuit from a Jane Doe who was underage at the time of her alleged sexual assault. In 2017, a former personal chef sued him, claiming he made her work during sex parties. They settled the case two years later.

Filings in the Jones case are so alarming that his lawyers included a “trigger warning” at the top of the civil complaint.

Jones alleges that there are “HUNDREDS of hours of footage and audio recordings of Mr. Combs, his staff, and his guests engaging in serious illegal activity” at mansions in multiple states and on a yacht that traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Saint Barthelemy. 

Jones, whose lawyers describe him as a musical prodigy, spent a year living with Combs and producing nine songs for Diddy’s new album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” the record released the same day he received his key to the city.

During that time, he claims to have witnessed Combs “providing laced alcoholic beverages to minors” and prostitutes and committing other crimes.

The lawsuit also alleges two unnamed individuals, one a rapper and the other an R&B singer, were “consorting with underaged girls” on Combs’ yacht and at his Los Angeles mansion. Jones also claims actor Cuba Gooding Jr. assaulted him in a studio onboard the yacht.

Gooding did not immediately respond to a request for a response to the allegations.

“It is like Epstein,” Parker told Fox News Digital. “It borders on that … and the reason being is that these video tapes are going to be very interesting.”

An expert on the intersection of crime and the hip-hop industry who has  written a book  on the issue, Parker said he expects HSI investigators to be pouring through any footage seized in the raids to determine if any crimes were committed and if any other high-profile people were present. 

The more lawsuits that emerge, the more accusers Parker said he expects to come forward.

And the evidence in the lawsuits, even those that were settled, will likely play a role in the ongoing federal investigation, Mauro said.

“That stuff is very penetrative,” he said. “[Federal prosecutors] are going to subpoena all of that stuff.”

Diddy has denied wrongdoing. In a statement pinned to his X profile, the mogul said accusers have been trying to “assassinate” his character.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday,” he wrote. “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name. my family and for the truth.”

On Friday, she posted two Instagram photos of herself wearing a silky gown in a stunning yellow shade. She wore a similar shade of eyeshadow in the snapshots — one being a closeup of her face in full makeup and the other being a zoomed-out image that showed off the gown.

Carey captioned the images with a simple red heart emoji.

Her famous friend Paris Hilton commented with a heart-eyed emoji, while the Glitter star’s fans replied with how ageless she looked.

“Anniversary adventures commence 🎉🦋” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself at sea on Wednesday. Carey is known to use the term “anniversary" in place of "birthday.”
