Egg Harbor Yachts

Egg Harbor Yachts has more than 50 years of boat building and design experience. Egg Harbor sportfish and sport yachts are built by fishermen for fishermen. With a smooth ride and comfortable amenities, serious fishermen, as well as those looking to enjoy sensuous cruising, can enjoy owning an Egg Harbor yacht.

Egg Harbor boasts one of the oldest names in American boat building history. In 1946 John Leek and Russel Post established Egg Harbor Yachts in New Jersey. Both partners parted ways within a few years. But by 1966 the founders joined forces again combining the Pacemaker and Egg Harbor brands.

Like many boat building, the brand suffered through some hard years in the 1980's and 1990's in large part due to high interest rates and the ill-fated luxury tax. Egg Harbor was forced to file Chapter 11 in 1990.

Dr. Trocki completely upgraded Egg Harbor's factory, investing over $10 million in much needed revamping. Soon after Dr. Trocki bought Buddy Davis, Predator Custom Yachts and Revenge Yachts, and moved the companies to Egg harbor's facility in New Jersey.

Carburators reguilt in 2014, aternators, Starters, manifolds, risers, hoses, & Racor filters, cutlass bearings, stuffing box, new in 2012. Starting batteries new in 2014, 8D house battery new 2015, new 40 AMP battery charger 2013, new AC pump 2015, electric head including new lines and holding tank done in 2012/2013, hot water tank replaced in 2010. 6.5KW Onan Generator 240 original hours which has just been rebuilt.  (2) reverse cycle AC/heat units. The boat has had many updates done to date and the hull is in good shape with no damage. The boat needs some cosmetic bright work and there are some leaks stains on the interior wood panels from the windows which is very common on these boats.

She is also equipped with a liferaft, triple spreader outriggers, rocket launchers, spreader lights, transom door, windlass, half tower with enclosures, marlin station with buggy top and full controls, bow foredeck storage compartments, fighting chair, cockpit fridge and sink. The main salon has icemaker and wetbar and a tv/ent center. Galley is equipped with full size fridge, sink, microwave, and a stove. Forward stateroom is a V-berth, 2nd stateroom has 2 twin beds. Central vacuum system as well. Flybridge has 2 helm seats, overhead electronics box with 48 mile furuno 36 mile open array radar, Northstar 800 loran, newer Raytheon RC420 chart plotter and a newer Raytheon L760 color depth fish finder, datamarine trip log, auto pilot, Glendenning engine synchro, vhf radios, and hailer. There is a 12kw onan generator as well with 2900 hours on her. The hull was awlgripped in 2001/2002. Bottom was soda blasted, barrier coated and painted in 2010. New side windows and rear bulkhead completed during the 2009 and 2010 season. 1979 Pacemaker 36 Sportfisherman  Building rugged, well designed fishing boats seems to come naturally to the people at Pacemaker yachts. You could say it's in their blood and lord knows they've certainly been doing it long enough. It all started with the Leek family shortly after World War II and that tradition continued to the early 1980's when Bob Seidelmann took over the company. Bob and his team didn't want to sit on the five decades of company history. They wanted to build cutting edge sportfishing boats in NJ just like their friends at Viking, Ocean Yachts, Luhrs, and Egg Harbor The Pacemaker 36 was a popular boat in the late 1970s thanks to her rugged construction, comfortable accommodations, and classic good looks. Indeed, the 36 was considered a handsome design in her day although she’s clearly dated by today’s styling standards. Built on a low-deadrise hull with a shallow keel and a well-flared bow, early models featured a two-stateroom interior with the galley in the salon, a standard lower helm, and a shower stall in the head. Among several updates made to the Pacemaker 36 in 1996, two new floorplans—one with two staterooms and the other with a dinette—became available. In all of these interiors, the combination of solid teak joinery, good headroom, and large cabin windows create a comfortable and relaxing setting for entertaining or cruising. With 80 square feet of space, the cockpit is roomy enough for a couple of anglers and their gear. Topside, bench seating forward of the helm will seat three guests. The Pacemaker 36 was originally introduced in 1973 and enjoyed a long a successful production run. Pride of ownership shows throughout the boat from her bilges, engine compartment, interior, deck and fly-bridge.She features a large fly-bridge and a roomy cockpit satisfying anglers no matter what you're after. Her interior is laid out with a single stateroom forward, galley down with a dinette opposite and a private head with hot and cold pressure water at the sink and shower.There is a nicely laid-out salon with a sofa-bed to port and swivel chair to starboard. There is good storage throughout the vessel with good lighting and ventilation. The Pacemaker 36' Sportfisherman's power is provided by twin 1996 315HP Cummins Diesels. Whether your plans include fishing, family cruising or maybe a little of both the Pacemaker 36' Sport Fisherman is the optimal choice. This model is a desirable one stateroom with adjoining head, with shower. The very large V berth has a filler cushion that forms a spacious double. Samara Description

A rare find of luxury yacht combined with sporty/ adventurous qualities which stands out head and shoulders above other monohull and catamaran hull yachts of this size. From bow to stern, guests cannot truly imagine the comfort, quality and spaciousness of SAMARA until stepping aboard. Named after the ´winged seed of the Sycamore tree´, this yacht was built to glide effortlessly, efficiently and steadily over long distances, in shallow waters thanks to a minimum draft. Packed with innovative features such as solar power technology and cork decks while also catering to the most adventurous or laid back cruisers, every type of guest will appreciate what this yacht has to offer. The volume is remarkable with 4000 square feet aboard - beyond that of larger monohulls and attributed to her 31’ beam versus the typical 20’. Stepping aboard the AFT DECK, there is an extra large al fresco dining area, well sheltered (plus eisinglass enclosure optional) alongside a full barbeque grill to starboard. Enjoy a cocktail or coffee at the full bar to starboard side or just appreciate the view. Entering the MAIN SALON brings everything to life with open plan galley and bar stools to starboard and the welcoming lounge area to port. Concealed overhead is the 55´ TV transforming this area for movie night or morning news while at the galley bar. There is easy access to a bayhead on this level just forward of the lounge as well. Make your way amidship forward into a cozy sunken, second lounge situated a few steps down from the main salon. A romantic fire place feature here on a blustery evening makes this lounge very inviting. A true sanctuary on the main deck is the forward facing MASTER suite with open plan from port to starboard bringing in the gorgeous views and natural light of outdoors, inside as well. To port is the ensuite Master bathroom with double sinks featuring designer waterfall taps, private toilet and stall shower. To starboard is a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and hanging closet. Storage is ample throughout. A private glass door leads forward onto the Jacuzzi deck serving as a full Owner´s deck and offers privacy with the subtle wrap around of superstructure design on both sides. Large petal-shaped loungers invited guests to relax in the sun or curl up and read a book in privacy. Forward below deck in the port and starboard hulls guests will find the comfort of two Queen staterooms, each en suite with spacious showers, toilet and ample storage in two closets and cabinetry. Aft in the starboard hull 2-3 more guests can find accommodation in a double bed with pullman bunk, also with en suite facilities. Moving up to the SUN DECK during the day is akin to stepping into a private garden in an exclusive villa. Two custom cabanas easily offer comfort to 3 adults each with shade as desired overhead and around. If more sun is preferred, two chaise and two comfortable bean bags can be positioned where guests wish. A ‘jump seat’ sunpad situated in front of the helm on this level also provides the best view from above. The grassy texture covering this deck is soothing and non-slip underfoot while also giving an ‘island’ feel. As the moon rises, this deck transforms to a whole new experience of its own. Whether experiencing movie night with the oversized cinema in position or an elegant dinner under the stars, this is the most favored space aboard by most. Not to forget the area where the most action occurs, the SWIM PLATFORM. A hydraulic center stage secures the wave runners when under way and once lowered, this level is the easy access deck for choice of SCUBA DIVING, water toys, boarding the tender and swim entry. Transform this area with chairs and inflatable cushions for the perfect BEACH CLUB. Each hull also offers a set of steps and a swim ladder for water access.

The 34.36m/112'9" motor yacht 'Samara' was built by Benetti in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Bonetti/Kozerski and she was delivered to her owner in April 2023. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of RWD.

Guest Accommodation

Samara has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Samara is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V 2000 M86) 1,380hp engines running at 2450rpm, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 2,700 nautical miles from her 25,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 4,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) C ✠ HULL ● MACH classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
