Inside, the Owner's Salon has been reimagined with new Roche Bobois sofas, a rug, and handmade coffee and side tables, complemented by a new LC Sound Max 5 drop-down screen (138 inch) and a Cineversum Horus projector.

A new cinema setup features a Cineversum Blackwing Laser R2 projector and a ZHK Black Crystal screen (136 inch).

BOADICEA Yacht for Charter

The 251.4-foot (76.6m) BOADICEA has an enviable yachting pedigree. She was built in 1999 by Amels, with naval architecture and interior design from the renowned Terence Disdale. As such, she is truly impressive inside and out. Those who know their superyachts may recognize her under her former name ‘REBORN’. 

BOADICEA has a steel displacement hull, a 45.11-foot (14m) beam and a 13.11-foot (4.25m) draft. She sleeps 12 guests in 10 impressive staterooms and has exceptional areas and decks. She underwent a refit in 2019/2020 during which time her teak decks and galley were updated. Some exciting new additions included a new beach club and a physiotherapy center. The yacht has a cruising speed of 13 knots, at which she has a range of 5,300 nautical miles, and a top speed of 15 knots. 

BOADICEA has 10 highly impressive staterooms. Chief among them is the owner’s room on its own deck. It has an office, private lounging area, stateroom with his-and-hers bathrooms and a private deck area. It also incorporates a double cabin for children and there is an additional cabin on the upper main deck to accommodate a personal assistant. The remainder of the charter party sleeps in a VIP stateroom, five double staterooms and a twin. 

Luxury, style and indulgence extend throughout the interior. Particular highlights include a spa center with a hydro-massage hot tub, a steam bath, emotional shower and massage room. BOADICEA also has an expert masseuse and beautician on hand for guests.

The many attractions on deck make BOADICEA the ideal yacht for either families or groups of friends. Her sundeck is a popular social area complete with hot-tub swimming pool, couches, sun loungers and a bar. Her upper deck has a dining area and a large-screen television outside leading into an upper salon with large couches and great home-entertainment systems. The main deck has the principal salon and a breakfast/meeting room. The yacht’s crew of 22 ensure exceptional personal attention at all times.

Motor Yacht

Motor yacht Boadicea was built in 1999 by Dutch shipyard Amels and even now remains a highly impressive and aesthetically pleasing superyacht. With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she features interior and exterior design by Terence Disdale. This twin screw diesel yacht measures 70.5 metres and can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Luxury motor yacht Boadicea was constructed for Australian media magnate Reg Grundy and has remained under his ownership ever since. The yacht takes her name from a legendary English warrior queen whose figure can be seen adorning the yacht’s funnel and inside near the dining room.

The superyacht boasts an incredible degree of interior volume and an abundance of open space spread across her five decks. The interior offers a choice of formal and informal areas that are highlighted by soft furnishings in beige and salmon-pink.

The layout has been designed so both intimate spaces and large entertaining areas are catered for. The vessel boasts nine separate dining areas, ranging from casual al fresco lounges to a formal saloon that can seat 16 guests at once. The main saloon follows in a similar vein with a large open space for party hosting and isolated nooks for more private conversations.

Obviously designed with entertainment in mind, the yacht features a 14 seat cinema, stage suitable for live entertainment, piano bar and a gym. Two custom-built Vikal tenders are stored in specially created tender bays on the main side deck. When she was originally built, the yacht had a real grass lawn on one of her upper aft decks to cater for the owners’ dogs when they travelled with them. The lawn space was now been removed.

The bright sundeck crowns the impressive vessel, boasting a lovely tiled swimming pool with a water jet-stream that allows guests to swim against a current. A fixed-stool bar, sun loungers and cocktail seating areas can also be found on the sundeck offering superior views.

Amongst her seven cabins are an indulgent master suite; four double guest cabins; and two twin guest cabins. The master suite features a private bathroom, dressing room with an immense closet and a massage room. The four double cabins all include en suite bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Luxury yacht Boadicea is powered by two Caterpillar 2,590 horsepower engines that allow her to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots. She can achieve a range of 5,000 nautical miles while cruising at a speed of 15 knots.

Featuring a dedicated crew, Boadicea is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations. The yacht cruises comfortably at 14 knots while her crew of 26 ensure the needs of every guest are met.

The luxury motor yacht is equipped with an armada of water toys to provide endless entertainment during any yacht charter. Onboard water toys include tenders, Wave Runners, a laser sailing dinghy, windsurfers, kayaks, waterskis, tows and a range of snorkelling and fishing equipment.

Boadicea cruises the Mediterranean during the summer charter season. The luxury vessel carries a Lloyd’s classification and is fully MCA compliant.

BOADICEA has the capacity to host up to twenty guests, and twenty-four crew members in ten cabins.

As well as designing the interior of BOADICEA, Terence Disdale Design also designed the exterior, in collaboration with Amels .

The white and grey vessel is hard to miss due to its sheer size. Navy blue letters spell out the name on the side of the yacht, and there are plenty of windows to let in the light.

There are a total of three decks with a lot of space for BOADICEA’s passengers. Guests also can enjoy a plethora of toys such as jet skis and kayaks.

MY Boadicea

An extensive refit of this 75m Amels with hull lengthening and other important internal and external modifications

Major changes on MY Boadicea meant significant modifications. These included the hull being lengthened, funnel modification and a complete rebuilding of the mast. There was also a significant swimming pool change, a lift installation and a complete painting of the hull and the superstructure alongside a partial refurbishment of the interiors.

Works performed:

• Construction and installation of a new stern block , including a new swim platform and a spa area, increasing the LOA by approximately 5 meters
• Construction of a new structured garden on the bridge deck
• Modification to the swimming pool on the sundeck, with lengthening of the pool and recessed installation on the deck
• Complete modification of the sundeck wheelhouse and mast
• Modification of the wheelhouse to rotate the windows from inclined to vertical
• Cut of the upper deck in the interiors on order to create a mezzanine
• Total paint job
