Overall a nice relaxing 2 hour trip on the mighty Mississippi. Took the jazz brunch - live music good , food was not good. Brought on board probably hours before consisting of powdered eggs, old biscuits, pancakes with gravy and small slice dried ham / sausage patty- all combo placed on plates and you are told - actually screamed at -when to go get your plate. They would be better to just have a few wrapped sandwiches , chips, cookie. Alcohol drinks good , this is where they make some $$. - $7 - $8 for mixed drinks, beer, have soda. There is a lot of construction and confusing where to board but following crowds helped Timely ride , friendly staff…. Worth the money except for food, eat before or after go.

Terrible terrible terrible don't waste your money you see absolutely nothing on this cruise except trash in the water. Inside air conditioning is Not big enough to cool the place off. Commentary nothing but bad jokes because there is nothing to see where they take you on the river

We signed up for the Sunday jazz brunch and cruise on the Mississippi. What a let down. We were served breakfast, not a brunch and the breakfast we were served at our hotel was better. The jazz band would know jazz from classical and as a group they didn’t play well although there were a few individual bright spots. The cruise was a trip down river to one bridge the up river just past the other bridge where we sat, holding position for nearly 30 minutes. What was supposed to be a memorable, authentic, riverboat brunch turned out to be a total let down. PLEASE don’t waste your time (or money).

I paid 4k for a private event to start at 7:30 we did not board until 8:00 pm I told the crew we were not moving until I finished my 30 min of decorating so they were fine with returning to dock at 10.30 instead of 10:00pm. There were chairs on the second and third level that were suppose to be moved and we had to spend time moving them just to make run for the guest to dance. The dj was well over 50 she played music off you tube she did not engage with the party guest i paid 400 dollars for her to do something apple music could have done. I sent an email to Laura the private events coordinator detailing what happen she basically called me a liar and said it was my fault we did not board on time so i sent her a pic of me calling her at 7:01 to say the boat was not where it was suppose to be. Then she said they gave me more time when in fact the time I got I paid for it was just pushed back. This was a party for teens so i did not get have a alcohol bar but some of the chaperones asked if they could get something and the young lady said yes my guest paid and tipped the young lady but Laura made it seem as if I should be grateful since I did not pay for a bar to be set up. I ordered a lot of food which by the way was disgusting so the kids barely ate the crew lied like they gave us to got plates when in fact they gave 2 to go plates to someone who was not coming to the same place I was taking the food. My sister brought 5 long aluminum pans so we could carry the food out. DO NOT BOOK A PRIVATE EVENT HERE IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I called to complain t a manager Taylor (very nice young man) gave the phone to Laura who in the email said she was not in the office I am sure she was shocked to hear my voice. I explained to her I sent a email with pictures showing her captain and crew were lying and she hung up on me.

We decided to take the dinner/music cruise on a hot July evening while visiting Memphis There is a long, spiral, hot ramp to get to the riverfront and then at the bottom you stand and wait (while still on the ramp) while the crew looks through a stack of tickets. Once you are onboard the ship is not impressive (could stand a few updates). The crew was very friendly and upbeat - this is the best thing about Memphis Riverboats. I didn't expect a great meal - and it was sub-par food thrown on a paper plate. The music was ok - but not great. The tour was only for a small section of the riverfront - we just chugged along at a slow pace and turned around. Sit outside if possible - it's very warm in the dining area. I've been on river cruises in other cities and I expected much more from this one. It was a bit of a dissapointment.

Jordan, the tour guide was the best part of my Riverboat experience. He was knowledgeable, but his sense humor kept us laughing. It was a little crowded, so I reccomend you get there at least 30-45mins prior so you can have your pick of the best seats. A great price, and great customer service from the company I had to call them twice, and they returned calls promptly.

Can this brunch list get restructured? I'm more interested in pictures and the vibe when I'm going out brunching. It would also be helpful to know about bottomless mimosas or outdoor Patios etc. But pictures of the space are the most important missing feature. 

Hi Jessica! This is a quick, extensive list so it's not meant to have descriptions and photos for every one, as that would be impossibly long. That's why we linked to every restaurant's website, IG, or another blog post, so you could get a feel for the vibe. I know clicking on things stinks, but it's the best way we have right now. There are plans for other brunch guides that will have more photos in the future, but I'm one person doing the best I can. As for outdoor patios, they are literally listed for every brunch place, not sure how to make that more clear. Here, you’ll find yummy brunch favorites straight from the South. Eggs Benedict is a classic choice, but you may want to elevate it and go for the Crab Cake Benedict. Sightseeing Cruise

The sightseeing cruise is a 90-minute tour that takes you down the Mighty Mississippi with a live historical commentary. This is a great way to see and learn a bit of Mississippi River history while visiting Memphis, Tennessee.

• Indoor/Outdoor Seating for choice of your preference. There is seating for everyone but it is an open arrangement.

• Snacks, drinks and alcohol are available on board, as well as restrooms. No outside food or drinks allowed. We accept cash/card for these items.

Parking is not on site.  The closest parking to our boarding location is  ACROSS THE STREET  from 119 N Riverside Drive Memphis, TN 38103. GPS will bring you to the TN Welcome Center but  DO NOT PARK THERE . You will see a “Riverboat Parking Sign” at the entrance of the fenced in lot directly across the street from the Welcome Center. This is a paid parking lot. To park here you will use the instructions on the signs throughout the parking lot to pay on the parking app or you may pay at the kiosk. We do not own this lot.  Once you park you will take the sidewalk South towards the boats. You will pass the River Garden Park on the left before you will be able to physically see the boats on the river. The boats are located at the intersection of Riverside & Monroe. You will see the ramp that goes into the Cobblestone Landing at the top of the hill at Riverside & Monroe where the metal gate is. THIS IS A 8-10 MINUTE WALK. If you have any guests who require assistance due to a disability or handicap, please drop them off at the boarding location BEFORE parking. You may drive down the cobblestones to the ramp for easier access. Please be mindful of not blocking the walkway to get onto the dock while doing so. This is ONLY for drop off purposes.

Walk-In tickets are available while space allows. All Walk-In ticket sales are CARD ONLY. Tickets will not be sold until the start of boarding time at 1:30pm. It is not recommended to arrive before 1:30pm, when boarding starts – as there is no shade/covering while you wait for boarding to begin. You will see our ticket sales team on your way down to the vessel after boarding begins, on-site. Weekends we highly recommend advanced reservations. All of this information is sent to you via email, when you make advanced reservations online.

May – August SATURDAY ONLY we offer 5pm Sightseeing Tours. This tour will begin boarding at 4:30pm, depart at 5pm, and return at 6:30pm.
