Ghost Recon: Breakpoint – How To Beat All 4 Raid Bosses | Titan Raid Guide

Take on the toughest challenges in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in the Project Titan raid. Here's how to complete all four encounters.

ghost recon breakpoint project titan solo

The new Titan Raid might still be in beta for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint , but that doesn’t mean we can’t start discussing the difficult boss encounters.

Like the raids in Destiny 2 , you’ll work with a team to fight challenging bosses with their very own special mechanics. Raids are extremely difficult, and require a lot of teamwork to survive — and the Titan Raid is no different. It helps to know exactly how to handle each boss, and we’re going to explain all the mechanics in the full guides below.

There are four main encounters in the Titan Raid. Each encounter, like the bosses in the Division 2 raid , has special mechanics you’ll need to exploit to win. While the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint raid isn’t quite as advanced as those other games, it’s still a pretty tough fight. I’ll explain how each encounter works, and what you need to know to win.

How To Beat All 4 Raid Bosses | Project Titan Guide

There are 4 boss encounters in the Titan Raid. At the start of the mission, you’ll receive a clue and a photograph showing where to find your mission. Entering the correct area will initiate a boss encounter.

ghost recon breakpoint project titan solo

Encounter #1: Titan Alpha – Baal

The Basics : The massive Baal tank has an insta-kill mechanic, and features a tiny weak point on the back of the tank. The Titan Alpha tank scans players with a blue (and later purple) laser. Once the scan reaches 100%, the player will die instantly from a rocket attack.

Strategy : Stay behind the tank and shoot the tiny blue panel weakpoint with burst or single-shot weapons. It’s hard to hit, so accuracy matters. Draw aggro by getting close to the tank — it will follow whoever is closest.

To remove the laser scan, run in front of the laser scanning a player — it will swap to that player. The trick of this fight is that you need to constantly swap laser-scans to avoid an insta-kill. Assign numbers to each player (1,2,3,4) and call out in order to swap the beam.

  • NOTE : Do not swap the laser-scan back immediately. It takes time for the scan to decay. Swap to a third player first before swapping back.

At 50% health, the tank will add a second purple laser-scan. You’ll need to use the same tactic to swap scans before the meter reaches 100%. The boss will spawn Shotgun Wolves and a Sniper will appear when a sound chimes. Focus on clearing Wolves if you’re scanned / drawing aggro. The tank can’t hurt you unless the laser-scan reaches 100%.

ghost recon breakpoint project titan solo

Encounter #2: Titan Beta – Super Computer

The Basics : The massive super-computer has three weak-point nodes you must destroy simultaneously. The room slowly fills with toxic gas and flying drones. You’ll need to closely coordinate with your team to clear this encounter.

Strategy : This boss requires player communication — one player needs to be assigned to the control room , while the other three players will need to spread-out to three different areas with three terminals each. The control room player uses three maps — each map shows three terminal locations, with a red dot.

The control room player will announce which of the three dots is red to each player — each player has time to find the terminals before the encounter begins. Call out [Left / Right / Center] to each team member. Hack the correct terminals to disable the toxic gas and begin the DPS phase.

When the toxic gas is disabled, everyone needs to rush downstairs to one of the three computer nodes. Use the hand scanners to reveal the node, and then everyone can shoot together. Rinse and repeat, dealing with incoming drones as you reset.

ghost recon breakpoint project titan solo

Encounter #3: Titan Omega – Gargoyle

The Basics : A giant flying drone that unleashes a variety of attacks, summons laser beams, and has a squad-wipe mechanic. Aim and shoot at the panels on the sides to stop it. Shoot the exhaust port underneath to damge it.

Strategy : The trickiest part of this fight is the insta-kill shock blast. When the boss flies to the center of the arena, it will charge and unleash a shockwave that kills your entire team. To stop it, aim and coordinate to shoot at the side-panels at the same time. That will stop the attack.

Stay on the move to avoid AOE shock rockets that leave behind lingering damage areas. Shoot the exhaust port on the underside of the flyer to damage it — and take care of the drones that fly into the area. You’ll also need to look out for killer lasers that cross through the arena.

Have all four players stand at each corner of the map. Stay in the basic square, and watch out for the laser that crosses over the map. Be prepared — shoot the panels under the wings simultaneously to stop the blast attack.

  • NOTE : To avoid the lasers, just keep sprinting until the red area stops and you’re free to take cover. Anyone caught in the laser will die instantly.

At 50%, the boss will summon two laser attacks. At 15%, it will constantly enter the shockwave attack mode. Continuously aim for the underside exhaust port to slowly whittle away its health, and eventually you’ll win.

Encounter #4: Titan Zeta – Cerberus

The Basics : Three drones that must be destroyed simultaneously. They constantly spawn explosive drones that hone-in on your team — and the weak points are only revealed when the drone bosses are pulled away from each other.

Strategy : The 3 ‘heads’ of the Cerberus heal each other when they’re close. Their weak point will also lock-down when they’re near another ‘head’. Get close to them, and they’ll begin to follow. To defeat this boss, you need to assign each player to draw aggro by getting close to a ‘head’ and pulling them away from each other.

You’ll need to hurt them all at the same time. After pulling them, focus on bringing down all three ‘head’ health bars to about 5%. Don’t destroy them! They’ll regenerate unless all three are destroyed at about the same time.

  • NOTE : The ‘heads’ will connect to each other with insta-kill red lasers. Avoid these!

They’ll link to each other with red insta-kill lasers at about 50% health. Keep players assigned to drawing aggro, and move clockwise around the arena — make sure everyone is moving in the same direction, or you’ll slam into those deady red lasers. With everyone working together, this final round is possible. It’s also really, really hard.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Project Titan Raid Guide | Titan Zeta

Titan Zeta is the fourth and final boss in the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Project Titan raid.

This is the last boss that you’ll be fighting, then the raid is over. Before you get there though, wow do you have a lot to do.

If you’re starting the raid fresh and need some guides, check these out.

  • First Boss – Titan Baal
  • Second Boss – Titan Beta
  • Third Boss – Titan Omega

Okay, so what about this specific Ghost Recon: Breakpoint boss fight against Titan Zeta? Well it’s more of a three in one deal. Cerberus has three individual drones that you’ll be fighting against.

To top things off, they all have their own unique attacks. There are also smaller drones, and a flashbang attack if you can believe it.

Make sure you’re in constant communication with the other players, because this will get messy otherwise.

Titan Zeta Phase 1

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Project Titan Raid Guide | Titan Zeta

The three drones you’re fighting are going to try to regroup and heal if you don’t keep them constantly distracted.

While this is dangerous for you, it’s also essential. Before you even start the fight, decide which of the three drones you’ll be attacking.

As soon as the fight starts, rush your chosen drone. The floor will shimmer, indicating that you’re being targeted.

Run in a clockwise circle around them. To avoid their attacks, remaining at the outer perimeters of their vision. The following attacks are based on the three drones’ starting positions.

Left Drone : This drone packs a targeting laser that will charge. If that charge completes and it’s locked on, it’ll fire a sniper rifle shot that will down you instantly. Shoot that laser to stop the charging .

Middle Drone: This drone is fairly upfront with what it does. It uses the gattling guns on its sides to batter you with bullets. Keep running at all times to avoid being hit.

Right Drone : You’ll see a specific point highlighted near this drone, that’s where it will fire a rocket. you won’t be downed with a hit, but it’s still not great. Run to avoid being caught .

Each drone can smash the ground with electricity. This will wipe out your stamina and deal some damage.

Try to avoid getting so close this hits you. Everyone should be listening out for a high-pitched shrill noise, this is a signal that the drones are about to drop a flash.

Look away from the bosses for a good few seconds to avoid being blinded.

There will be a klaxon at regular intervals. This signals that smaller drones are on their way in.

Make sure you take them down as fast as possible, even helping other players out. These guys will end the fight if you let them.

If a player is downed, have someone pick up that player’s drone’s attention as soon as possible.

As I’ve already mentioned, the boss will regroup and heal if it’s given the chance.

Titan Zeta Phase 2

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Project Titan Raid Guide | Titan Zeta

At the halfway point in the fight, when each drone has half health, a bright yellow light is going to shine underneath them.

This will trace between them and into the centre of the arena, at which point the drones will turn red.

Stick to the outer area of the arena, because this is an instant kill attack. Avoid it and keep the drones moving.

Outside of avoiding this brand new, and merciless, attack, the tactic remains the same.

Keep the drones moving, stay out of their attack ranges, and get hits in while you can. Eventually you will kill the boss, and the raid will be over.

That’s everything there is to know about killing Titan Zeta and winning the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Project Titan raid. If there’s something you think we missed, let us know in the comments.

How to Access Project Titan

On November 28, you will be able to journey to an entirely new island with unique environments.

[News] Project Titan - sulfur

Project Titan is free for all Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint players. The only requirements are that:

  • You have a minimum 150 Gear Score .
  • You have a full squad of four players .

Tips on Gearing Up

Once you’ve finished the main story mission, the fastest way to gear yourself raid-ready will be to complete:

  • Auroa Missions
  • Faction Missions

It takes on average around 30 hours of gameplay (including the main story) to reach Gear Score 150.

Assembling Your Squad

A full four-player squad is required to access the raid. To assist with this, we offer private and public matchmaking for Project Titan.

If you do not have a set party, you can find other Ghosts who are interested in the raid by going to Mood Matchmaking in the menu and selecting the Raid option.

Keep in mind that communication is key to success. In order to avoid frustration, we strongly recommend that you have a mic activated to talk with your teammates.

Reaching Checkpoints

The Raid will have predetermined checkpoints after each boss fight . Progress made between checkpoints will not be maintained between sessions.

Weekly Reset

Raid progress and rewards will reset every Tuesday at 9 am UTC .

[News] Project Titan - lava

When you beat each boss for the first time in the weekly cycle, you will receive a number of rewards from the raid loot pool, including weapons, gear, customization items, and more.

Items that are not weapons and gear (customization, titles, emblems, attachments, etc.) will drop once.

Weapons and gear can have duplicate drops; however, they will vary in Gear Level or passives for non-signature items.

Replaying the bosses after you receive your weekly rewards will give you Skell Credits.

Here’s a look at some of the rewards we have in Project Titan.

Balancing the Raid

Project Titan is meant to challenge even the most veteran Ghosts. That being said, we will of course be closely monitoring player data and feedback after it is live.

We can make balancing adjustments if necessary, so please share your thoughts .

The Future of Project Titan

Project Titan is our first major content addition since the launch of the game, and it will receive two additional modes in early 2020:

One mode will be an easier take, and therefore an ideal entry point for those new to raids. While it does not have the rewards of the standard version of the raid, you will be able to practice mechanics and gear up for higher levels of difficulty.

The other mode will be a brutal challenge for our most experienced players. This difficulty will come with exclusive rewards for those Ghosts brave and skilled enough to try.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Titan Beta raid boss guide

I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint's second raid boss is a tricky one to handle without communicating with your teammates. In fact, you'll need a headset to even stand a chance, since you'll either be relaying instructions to your teammates or confirming when you've pressed your node button. Failure to work as a team will result in you suffocating due to poison gas, so it's imperative that you have a plan going in. Below you'll find our suggestions for that plan, plus a handy map to put on your second screen.

ghost recon breakpoint super computer 3

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Titan Beta raid boss guide

Our Ghost Recon Breakpoint Titan Beta raid boss guide has tips and tricks for defeating the second raid boss of Project Titan - the Super Computer. It also includes a map of the area so that you can plan with your team to take out the boss.

ghost recon breakpoint super computer 2

Titan Beta raid boss - map phase

The Titan Beta raid boss fight is against a Super Computer. This is a giant computer with three separate servers. To destroy it, you'll need to open its nodes and shoot at it. You'll need to do this while drones swarm the area, and poison gas is slowly suffocating your team. This means the fight breaks down into two phases: the first in which you'll need to correctly identify and hack the nodes specified in the map room, and a second after which you've vented the area of gas and can start taking down the boss itself.

This is not a fight you want to do with random people. Constant communication with teammates is the key to winning this fight. To start, assign one player to the in-game map room . This room contains two maps which show all the nodes players need to interact with across the area's two floors. This 'map player' needs to look at these maps and call out when nodes on it light up, so that their three teammates know what nodes to go push next.

In our map below, we've made it easier for everyone to call out directions by separating the nodes on each floor into different types. If nodes 2, 5, and 9 light up in red on the in-game map, the map player could say "Water 2, Centre 5, Upper 9" . You can assign your own calls if that's easier. The main thing is that you each understand what points are being spoken about.

ghost recon breakpoint super computer map

  • Green circles - The maps the 'map player' needs to watch for information about the nodes.
  • Orange, Blue & Pink squares - The nodes other players need to press. We've given these names so they're easier for the map player to call out when they light up.
  • Yellow circle - Where drones spawn from.
  • Red circles - The three parts of the server which need to be destroyed.

Both floors fill with toxic gas constantly, with enemy drones spawning through a hatch (marked by the yellow circle) on the second floor. If the toxic meter at the top of the HUD fills completely, your team will instantly lose the fight. You'll need to assign each person a role when you first go into the fight. One person will be at the bottom left of the map in the map room (green circles), who we'll call the map player. Everyone else will need to follow their instructions. We've got tips for both kinds of player.

If you are the map player

Your main role as the map player is to ensure the safety of your team who will be following your instructions, with the ultimate aim of venting the gas. You will need to do the following:

  • Look at the two maps in the south-west corner of the room.
  • Call out which nodes are highlighted in red at any given time.
  • Take out drones to support your team.
  • Climb the stairs within the map room and push the centre panel once all nodes have been activated in order to vent the gas.
  • Push the left or right panel only if needed.

Inside the map room are two maps which show nodes with green and red lights. The map player's job is to call out which nodes on each floor have red lights, denoting that they need to be pressed. Your secondary task is to help take out drones as they appear.

Upstairs from the map room, you'll find three more panels that the map player can press. The centre panel should only be pressed if all the panels the map person has called out have been pushed . This will vent the gas, reducing the toxic meter at the top of the HUD, and making the next stage of the boss fight possible. Press this button too early though, and the fans won't turn on.

The other two panels to the left and right from the stairs are special abilities designed for dire emergencies. The left panel releases oxygen that instantly takes away all the poison in the room for a short time, buying you more time, but the panel has a long cooldown timer so you need to use it sparingly. The right panel stuns all the released drones, buying you time if you find you're struggling with too many drones spawning in the area. Again, this one has a big cooldown timer so use only when desperate or someone is downed. You'll likely only be able to use the left and right panels twice in one fight.

If you are not the map player

The other three people in the squad will be reacting to the callouts from the map assignee. One person should always be on the second floor, while two are on the bottom floor. Your role will be to do the following:

  • Press the node buttons that the map person has called out.
  • Help in eliminating the drones when you're finished pressing buttons, especially if on the second floor.

Each node takes a small amount of time to turn green once pushed, so make sure you call out to your teammates when the process is complete. Pushing an incorrect node or pressing the same node twice will result in the node button-pusher being instantly downed, requiring someone else to pick them back up.

It's worth noting that you may find that multiple nodes can appear on one person's set and none for another - so, for example, you may find that the instruction you're given is "Water 1, Water 2, Centre 5, Center 6". If this is the case, the person who didn't get a call-out should focus on taking out drones.

Once all the buttons have been turned green, the map player should climb the stairs in their area and press the middle button to activate the fan and vent the gas. This gives you some literal breathing room, and the opportunity to damage the boss. We've got tips on how to damage the boss below, but note that you might need to repeat this map phase multiple times before the boss is fully destroyed.

ghost recon breakpoint super computer 1

Titan Beta raid boss - damage phase

After killing the drones and activating the panels - making sure to only press once if you had a callout - reconvene at a point where you can see one of the three parts of the boss. We've highlighted these boss areas in our map in red circles. The map player should join the others to assist in damaging the boss once the fan has been activated.

There are two panels on either side of each boss area, which need to be pressed simultaneously to make the weak points vulnerable for a short amount of time. You will only have enough time to activate each of the panels for every boss area once per damage phase. One of your team should be focused on taking out any drones if needed.

Once you've pressed the panels, shoot at the gaps that open up to damage the boss. It's here that I share an important tip: do not destroy each part of the boss the first time you go to damage the computer itself.  As soon as you destroy one of the three boss parts, you'll have a swarm of heavily armoured drones begin to arrive on the scene, making things much harder when you inevitably have to go back to your positions and repeat the map phase.

It's better to damage each of the boss areas enough for the blue health bar to be nearly depleted. Once the first health bar is down, a white one will appear in its place. Thankfully this goes down much faster than the blue one. Once you've attacked the third boss part to almost but not quite destroy it, you'll need to perform the steps in the map phase again as gas will have resumed filling the room.

As long as you've damaged each boss part enough during the first damage phase, then you should be able to finish each part off swiftly during the second damage phase with the extra armoured drones only there attacking you for a short time before the end of the boss fight. When you have destroyed all three parts of the boss, make sure you kill the drones as well afterwards as they will continue attacking you.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint – Project Titan Raid Playable Today

Ghost Recon Breakpoint 's first raid, Project Titan, is available today as part of a free update, bringing Breakpoint's hardest challenges yet as the Ghosts travel to a new volcanic island to confront deadly experimental drones and a new faction called the Red Wolves. Players will need to team up in groups of four (through public or private matchmaking) and have a minimum Gear Score of 150 (recommended level 250) in order to access the raid. Powerful weapons, gear, customization items, and more await those who emerge victorious. Watch the video below for a sneak peek, and read on for more information about the setting, the bosses, and the structure of the raid.

Project Titan is set on Golem Island, a new location in the Auroan archipelago that features sulfurous environments and an active volcano. The harsh landscape is home to a Skell Tech outpost working on experimental drones, protected by island-wide AI monitoring. Like most of Skell's operation, this outpost has been compromised; the Red Wolves now control the island, the AI, and the four massive military drones called Titans.

Each Titan is a raid boss that poses a unique threat. Baal is a land drone that deploys laser-guided destruction; Quantum Computer is armed with a deadly smoke trap; Gargoyle strikes from the sky; and Cerberus causes mayhem befitting its mythological inspiration. To take down the bosses, players will have to locate them using intel, analyze their attack patterns, devise strategies, and above all, work together. Defeating a boss will unlock a bundle of rewards, as well as a checkpoint that is valid for as long as the session lasts. Raid progress and rewards will be reset every Tuesday at 1:00 AM Pacific Time.

Vanquishing Titans and completing the raid will not only give you powerful new additions to your arsenal, but will also allow you to show off your hard-earned victory. Customization items, including titles, emblems, attachments, and more, will each drop once per player, while weapons and gear can have duplicate drops. Weapon rewards include master plans for the CTMMG Baal, Vector Control Room, KOBLIN, and BOSG12, which will have unique passive abilities and cosmetic appearances.

Additionally, four sets of class-specific gear for the Assault, Panther, Sharpshooter, and Field Medic can drop, and each set includes a mask, top, vest, pants, and gloves (no gloves in the Panther set). Players have a higher chance of earning class set items for the class they are playing when they clear a boss, but drops are not restricted to your current class. Replaying the bosses after earning the weekly reward will yield Skell credits.

Project Titan is meant to be a demanding challenge, but future updates will broaden the difficulty scope. Two modes planned for release in early 2020 will create an easier entry point to the raid (albeit with fewer rewards for victory), as well as an even more brutal challenge for the most hardened Ghosts. The development team welcomes player feedback on the official Ghost Recon forums .

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and is included with a UPLAY+ subscription. For more on the latest updates and for upcoming news on the Terminator Live Event , stay tuned to our Ghost Recon Breakpoint news hub .

  2. Anyway to find and fight Titan Drones on Golem Island solo?

The Titans are only available with GS on while matchmaking. It sucks that you can't fight them solo, since they put specific rewards behind them, which kind of defeats the purpose of giving us alternative ways to obtain what was once raid specific gear anyways.
