The Yaquina Bay Yacht Club holds two big regattas each year. The Spring Regatta is held the last weekend in April. There will be a youth regatta on May 3rd. During this regatta, the best high school sailors are invited by the coaches to compete in the Lincoln County High School Challenge Cup. The Columbus Day Regatta is an open regatta.

Summer Boating is getting underway! Celebrate summer with Yaquina Bay Yacht Club. Sailstice this year will be on June 17th, 2023 and we will be taking people out for free sailboat rides, conditions permitting. We will open the YBYC clubhouse (750 Bay Rd, Newport, OR) on June 17th at 11:30 am for free sailing signups.

2023 Schedule. As we look forward to 2023 we have scheduled dates for our racing events and even have a couple of cruise events lined up. Our Spring Regatta is slated for April 29 and season ending Fall Regatta will be held on October 7-8. Wednesday evening races start April 27 and end October 5 just before Fall Regatta.
