This 152' steel displacement yacht was created by collaboration between Mulder Design, Studio Spadolini and Rossinavi and wows with a high volume, sophisticated interior and high quality finish.

2 LADIES was designed for worldwide cruising in all weathers and has a range of over 4,500 nautical miles. Full Lloyd’s classification makes sure that each trip will be made at the highest level of safety, whereas Naiad zero speed stabilizers ensure smooth anchoring at all times.

Three decks offer lots of gathering areas: From the main deck with large dining area for up to 10 persons to the wheel house deck with a comfy seating area aft with coffee tables and a generous seating & sunbathing area on the fore deck to the fully equipped fly bridge with sun loungers, sunbathing area, Jacuzzi, bar, & BBQ – you are spoilt for choice!

All decks can be accessed via a glass elevator, which is embedded in the exposed staircase, and represents the centerpiece of this imposing yacht; the elevator is also suitable for wheel chairs (maximum width 23 inches).

The staircase is made from ebony and steel, whereas the steps are made from travertine marble, treated to resemble orange peel. The marble‘s porosity was enhanced so that the light flushes the structure; thus the steps are illuminated in a warm, non-offensive to the eye way.

2 LADIES’ contemporary, minimalist interior, designed by Studio Spadolini, features walnut wood floorings mixed with brushed ash wood, glossy varnished ebony and ceilings with lacquered and illuminated panels, creating an airy ambience.

The full beam master suite on the wheelhouse deck – is kept in contemporary Italian style and includes a spacious king-size bed (180cm x 200cm), a comfortable seating area and a study.

The en suite facilities are equipped with a jet shower, Jacuzzi tub and sink, all with marble finishes, as well as toilet, bidet and towel warmer.

The stylish walk-in closet contains lots of storage space. This cabin comes furnished with the latest technology that includes a 60” flat screen TV, a stereo with an IPod docking station and speakers.

Offers access to the wheelhouse deck as well as to the wheelhouse lounge.

Motor Yacht

In the summer of 2010 Mulder Design was introduced to two friends and business partners looking for a motor yacht of approximately 46 meter in length.

The design brief I received was a bit unusual since the two owner’s will be on board at the same time with their two ladies and consequently we needed to have two owner’s staterooms of equal quality.

• Other important items in the briefing were:
• four guest state rooms
• fitness room
• fold-down transom hatch creating a large beach area.
• the intention to charter, so ample crew space required
• transatlantic range

The first concept was very well received and only minor modification were made before we had the final lay-out and outside styling. The owner’s choice was to build the yacht at Rossi Navi in Viareggio, Italy. Studio Spadolini was selected by the owners to do the interior design and turned our basic concept lay-out into a beautiful interior. 

The result was • A beautiful owner’s state room at main deck • Forward facing gym at main deck • Another beautiful owner’s state room at the wheelhouse deck. • Adjacent to the upper owner’s state room a sky lounge • Four guest suites at the lower level. • Beautiful stairway from the lower deck all the way up to the flying bridge. • In the center of the stairs a glass elevator servicing the three interior decks and the flying bridge deck • Salon and dining at main deck • A fourth deck with laundry area and a service tunnel underneath the guest area with access to the engine room. • Flying bridge with Jacuzzi, sunbathing, bar, lounge chairs, grill.

Discovery of dead baby on 405 Freeway in Culver City linked to other murder, deadly crash

A series of violent and deadly incidents that happened across Los Angeles County Monday morning was being investigated as being connected.

Multiple law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles’ I-Team that the discovery of two children on the 405 Freeway in Culver City is linked to a murder investigation in Woodland Hills and a deadly crash in Redondo Beach.

The first incident was reported at around 4:30 a.m. when first responders arrived on the northbound lanes of the freeway near the Howard Hughes Parkway and Sepulveda Boulevard exit to discover an infant and a child.

The baby girl, who may be between 5 and 6 months old, was declared dead at the scene while another 9-year-old girl, was taken to a hospital for “moderate injuries,” according to the California Highway Patrol.

Then about 30 minutes later, a deadly crash was reported on Pacific Coast Highway near Vincent Street in Redondo Beach.

“Emergency services responded and located the unresponsive female driver, who was pronounced deceased by paramedics from the Redondo Beach Fire Department,’’ Redondo Beach police said.

Then at around 7:35 a.m. more than 30 miles away from the crash site, the Los Angeles Police Department got a call about a “possible victim down” at the Montecito Apartments on the 6200 block of Variel Avenue in Woodland Hills.

“I woke up in the middle of the night around 3:40 to screaming and commotion, it lasted about a minute and I was really groggy and I just went back to sleep,” one neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said.

The neighbor said there was fighting the night before. She said a man and woman lived next door to her for about a year with their two children.

“This morning I was getting up to go to work and I left and I walk out front door and they are immediately to the left of us and I see their front door wide open and blood coming from their apartment all the way into the hallway to the elevator and I see blood on the walls,” the neighbor said.

Neighbors say the family kept to themselves, but at night, especially in the past few months, fighting, screaming, and commotion could be heard coming from their unit.

Responding officers discovered one person dead at the location.

“While conducting their investigation homicide detectives learned of two additional incidents that occurred earlier in the morning, one on the 405 Freeway involving two young children and a second in Redondo Beach involving a traffic collision,” the LAPD said in a social media post.  

“At this time, Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are working with the California Highway Patrol on the incident involving the two children and believe it is connected to the Topanga homicide scene.”

The LAPD also confirmed it’s working with the CHP as well as Redondo Beach Police Department and the LA County Coroner’s Office to determine how the deadly incidents are related.

Jill Zarin blamed “Below Deck” head steward Fraser Olender for her “disaster” megayacht outing, which was documented on an episode of the Bravo series last week.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum said she didn’t have any regrets about her behavior, which included taking issue with the food service, requesting a specific type of ice and even suggesting guests be given a bell to summon crew members.

“I went into it with the attitude that I want to make a good show. I was me, I literally was me. I was me the way I am in my real life,” Zarin, 60, told Heather McDonald on Tuesday’s episode of her  “Juicy Scoop” podcast .

“If I like my Diet Coke then I want another. If I don’t like it then I will send it back. If I don’t like my food then I send it back. Most people do,” she continued.

“I think if the crew had a different attitude toward me and said ‘Jill, she’s a little pushy, she’s a Jewish mother, she’s a little bit of a know it all’ I think everybody would have leaned into it.”

The reality TV star went on to detail the two-day stay, which cost her pal an eye-watering $45,000 for “five meals” along with lodging.

“You get on the boat at 12 and right away you get lunch,” she said. “You get an explanation — which I actually taped on my phone that I am going to post — of Fraser [Olender] explaining the layout of the next two days.”

Zarin continued, “In fact, one of the things he emphasized which is ironic is that there would be snacks and food all the time everywhere. He actually emphasized and completely didn’t deliver. When I think about the trip, it was the head stew’s job to make sure things went seamlessly, and I kind of blame him for the trip being a total disaster.”

The Bravolebrity noted that she “felt terrible” for her friends who paid for the trip.

“They spent an enormous amount of money [and] I wanted them to have an amazing experience,” she said.

“I did this show because my friends wanted to go on TV. I don’t blame them, a lot of people do. [But] I didn’t mind doing it with them because as long as I am me, I am good.”

“Below Deck” cast member and stewardess, Barbara “Barbie” Pascual, later admitted Zarin “was right” about some of her seemingly outlandish requests on the show.

“You guys, I watched the show back, and I don’t think that Jill was as bad as it looked, and I just wanna also say that there were so many other moments where she was super fun and sweet and nice,” Pascual said on her Instagram Story last week.

She acknowledged that the former “Housewife” was “demanding,” but she was “not rude” and was making requests that were “actually normal yacht requirements” and “pretty logical.”

“She was right. She just wanted nugget ice in her Diet Coke, that’s not a big deal,” the stewardess added.

However, during the episode, Pascual said Zarin was “too much” to handle.

“I think she’s annoying. You’re a freeloading guest who’s extremely demanding. This is too much for me. I need another stew just for Jill,” she said in a confessional.

Meanwhile, Olender quipped, “Jill is crawling into my brain and eating away at my soul.” 

Chef Anthony Iracane also took a swipe at the Jill & Ally founder in his confessional.

“I think the primary, she’s OK, but her friend taking over the boat, it’s like she’s a f–king captain. Like taking over the ship,” he said.

Patek Philippe is revered for its mastery of high complications, which it calls “Grand Complications.” These include the minute repeater and perpetual calendar. A perpetual calendar watch shows the day of the week and the full date, including the date, month, year, and moon phase. They even account for leap years. To showcase this wealth of information, many perpetual calendar watches have relatively busy dials, using multiple dials to display the date legibly.

In 2021, Patek Philippe debuted a new patented way of telling time in a perpetual calendar wristwatch. At first glance, you wouldn’t think it was a perpetual calendar, which is part of the fun for those in the know. Instead of three or four subdials, it uses several apertures and a single large subdial in what’s called an in-line perpetual calendar. These have been used in pocket watches, but Patek Philippe miniaturized the components to incorporate this display into a wristwatch. It earned three patents for its ultra-thin automatic movement, Caliber 31-260 PS QL. Today, the Swiss manufacture unveils a new dial color for this unique watch.

Reference 5236P-010 comes in a 41.3mm platinum case that measures 11.07mm in height. The case was fully polished by hand. The dial is an opaline rose-gilt color inspired by vintage timepieces. It has applied white gold hour markers with a charcoal-gray finish. The baton-style hands tell the hours and minutes. At 12 o’clock, a large rectangular aperture shows the day, date, and month. While it might look simple enough, it was a huge technical feat. In order to display the date in this manner, Patek Philippe needed to place four disks on the same plane, all moving in tandem.

Two smaller apertures at 8 and 4 o’clock house the day/night indicator and the leap-year cycle. In this image, the date is Saturday, March 18th in the third year of a leap-year cycle. The subdial at 6 o’clock has a small seconds hand and a beautiful moon phase. A platinum mini-rotor powers the movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. A solid platinum caseback is also available. The watch is finished with a shiny brown alligator leather strap with a platinum fold-over clasp.

Patek Philippe also unveiled a new women’s timepiece in the Twenty~4 collection, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The rose gold cuff-style watch pays homage to the original timepiece, as the collection has since expanded to include models with a round case. Like the first Twenty~4 watches, Reference 4910/1201R-010 has a quartz movement, Caliber E15. This timepiece has a stunning dial with a concentric wave motif. This embossed pattern is coated with dozens of layers of purple and translucent lacquer, which has a gorgeous, rich color and a high degree of shine. Applied Arabic numerals and hour markers finish the look. Both the markers and the hands are coated in a white luminescent coating for legibility at night. Venice Canals attacks: LAPD searching for suspect after two women violently assaulted

The LAPD is warning women to remain vigilant in Venice after two women were violently attacked near the Venice Canals.

LOS ANGELES - Residents in Los Angeles’ Venice neighborhood were on edge after two women were violently attacked in separate incidents in a span of one hour near the Venice Canals.

On Saturday, April 6, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the 2700 block of Strongs Drive. Investigators said one of the victims was walking along the Venice Canals when suddenly, a man walked up behind her, hit her in the head with an object, and knocked her unconscious. The weapon used in the attack was believed to be a metal pipe.

Investigators believe the same suspect similarly attacked another woman about an hour later as she was walking near the Sherman Canal before they left the scene. In the second attack, detectives believe the suspect used a glass bottle to assault the woman. 

LAPD officials said both victims sustained significant injuries. Detectives identified the suspect as a man between 5-foot-10-inch and 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds, with short, trimmed hair. It was unclear what the suspect was last seen wearing.

The LAPD is encouraging women to remain vigilant and to walk in pairs when possible. 

Two women violently assaulted in Venice

Police Wednesday were continuing their search for the person who assaulted two women with a hard object in separate attacks near the Venice Canals.

Detectives canvassed the neighborhood and looked through security footage on Tuesday, and believe the suspect is likely to strike again.

New York to Pay $17.5 Million for Forcing Removal of Hijabs in Mug Shots

New York City reached a settlement in a lawsuit brought by two women who were arrested and made to remove their head coverings by the police before being photographed.

New York City has agreed to pay $17.5 million to settle a lawsuit filed by two women who said their rights were violated when they were forced to remove their hijabs before the police took their arrest photographs.

The financial settlement filed on Friday, which still requires approval by Judge Analisa Torres of U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, is the latest development in the class-action lawsuit filed in 2018 by Jamilla Clark and Arwa Aziz, two Muslim women who said they felt shamed and exposed by the police officers’ actions.

“When they forced me to take off my hijab, I felt as if I were naked; I’m not sure if words can capture how exposed and violated I felt,” Ms. Clark said in a statement. “I’m so proud today to have played a part in getting justice for thousands of New Yorkers.”

In response to the lawsuit, the Police Department in 2020 changed its policy to allow religious people to be photographed wearing head coverings, as long as the coverings were not obstructing their faces.

In a statement on Friday, a spokesman for the city’s Law Department said the lawsuit had “resulted in a positive reform for the N.Y.P.D.”

“The agreement carefully balances the department’s respect for firmly held religious beliefs with the important law enforcement need to take arrest photos,” said the spokesman, Nicholas Paolucci. “This resolution was in the best interest of all parties.”

Damages from the settlement, which total just over $13 million once administrative costs and lawyers’ fees are deducted, will be split among the thousands of people who are expected to file eligible claims .

Ms. Clark, who was arrested on a violation of an order of protection in Manhattan in 2017, said she “wept and begged to put her hijab back on” while standing in Police Headquarters at One Police Plaza with the head scarf around her shoulders, according to the complaint .

Ms. Aziz, who was also arrested on a violation of an order of protection, said she had a similar experience eight months later when she was arrested in Brooklyn. She sobbed as she “stood with her back to the wall, in full view of approximately one dozen male N.Y.P.D. officers and more than 30 male inmates,” the complaint said.

“Forcing someone to remove their religious clothing is like a strip search,” said Andrew F. Wilson, a lawyer with Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Abady Ward & Maazel LLP, who is representing the women.

Albert Fox Cahn, the executive director of the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project , a civil rights group, and a lawyer for the plaintiffs, called the settlement “a milestone for New Yorkers’ privacy and religious rights.”

“The N.Y.P.D. should never have stripped these religious New Yorkers of their head coverings and dignity,” he said.

The Police Department had previously issued interim orders that people who were arrested could be photographed with religious head coverings at precincts or taken to a private area to be photographed at One Police Plaza.

In 2018, the city reached a $60,000 settlement with each of three Muslim women who had been forced to remove their hijabs for arrest photographs and said that their religious rights had been violated.

In response to Ms. Clark and Ms. Aziz’s lawsuit, the Police Department said it would change its patrol guide and begin training officers to “take all possible steps, when consistent with personal safety,” to allow people who are arrested to keep their headwear on in order to respect their “privacy, rights and religious beliefs.”

There are a few exceptions to the policy, including for distinguishing features that could be hidden by a head covering.

The patrol guide now instructs officers that if an uncovered photo must be taken, “the prisoner must be transported to the appropriate borough court section, where the photograph will be taken in a private area by a member of the service of the same gender.”

The policy change was one of a series of adjustments the Police Department has made in recent years related to religious head coverings. In 2016, the department said it would allow officers who wore beards or turbans for religious reasons to keep them.

Lawyers for Ms. Clark and Ms. Aziz estimated that at least 3,600 people could qualify for compensation of $7,000 to $13,000 though the settlement. According to the terms reached with the city, people who were forced to remove their religious head coverings between March 16, 2014, and Aug. 23, 2021, could qualify.
