How much does it cost to charter a yacht?

There are many things to consider and first time charterers can be left confused, that's why we've created a comprehensive guide to yacht charter prices (with a checklist).

The good news: It’s easy to grasp the basics of yacht charter pricing. And with one of our experts in your corner, we can help you more accurately estimate the cost of your next once-in-a-lifetime vacation.

The cost of a yacht charter is dependent on a number of factors, including the type of yacht, the charter destination, local taxes, and the base cost. (If the yacht has a celebrity owner, well that too, can add to the cost.)

Therefore, yacht charters have a wide range of base prices. That’s why charters can cost from $10,000 per week on smaller sailing yachts and catamarans, up to $150,000+ per week on the most luxurious motor superyachts.

Yacht Charter Price Structure: “All-Inclusive” vs “Plus Expenses”

In the world of yachting, two types of crewed yacht charters are available to you – “All-Inclusive” and “Plus Expenses” charter experiences. What do these terms mean exactly? Here’s a quick look:

• All-Inclusive Yacht Charters – Some charters (mainly catamaran and monohull charters in the Virgin Islands) offer all-inclusive rates. That means rates are based on the number of guests, and they include all food and drink, water sports, and fuel costs. Dockage and taxes, though, are usually charged separately.
• Plus Expenses Charters – Rates for larger motor yachts do not include running expenses, which must be paid separately. For these luxury charters, the base price is for the yacht only. Additional expenses, i.e. food, bar, fuel, dockage, port taxes, and other expenses, are charged separately. Most frequently, the running expenses are paid by an Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA, which is typically 35% of the base price; this is an amount that’s paid prior to the charter.

What can you expect to pay for a catamaran, a sailing vessel, or motored yacht? Here’s a quick overview of the average cost to rent a yacht (not including extra expenses) for the most common types available:

Factors that Affect Yacht Charter Prices

Since charter yachts are privately owned, prices are set by the owner. This can explain, in part, the wide range of differences in price between boats of similar lengths. Yet, several other factors can significantly impact price, including:

• The Yacht – The year the boat was built, the builder, previous owners, and the boat’s selection of water toys can also increase the cost of a yacht. Boats can also develop a reputation, i.e. the largest or most luxurious, or having a famous builder or previous owner. Reputation can also affect pricing.
• Season – Prices typically increase in the high season – i.e. high summer in the Mediterranean or winter in the Caribbean – and decrease in low seasons.
• Destination – Your charter destination also plays a role in charter cost. For example, prices increase in areas without large charter fleets (i.e. the Galapagos), whereas Bahamas yacht charters,   BVI charters , or Mediterranean yacht charter are priced more competitively.

Additional Costs Considerations on Yacht Charter

In addition to the cost associated with running the yacht and provisioning, there are a number of other costs that must be considered. These are the most significant:

Advanced Provisioning Allowance

The APA on Plus Expenses charters equals roughly 35% of the yacht’s base price. This is a fee that’s collected prior to charter, and it’s similar to an expense account the captain can access during the charter. At the end of the charter, you will receive a detailed accounting of your APA account, plus any unused APA funds in cash.

In the case of overages, you may be required to replenish the APA account during the charter. This can be done with cash, although many choose to set up accounts with their charter brokers , which can be accessed if requested by the captain.

Taxes and Value Added Tax (VAT)

Most boats – whether all-inclusive or Plus Expenses – will not include local taxes or a Value Added Tax into their charter rate. The charterer will be responsible for paying those taxes. Taxes range significantly by destination; here’s a look at some of yachting’s most popular destinations:

• The Bahamas – Tax: 4% plus 10% VAT
• BVI – Tax: between $6 and $16 per person per day, depending on the flag of the boat
• Croatia – VAT: 13%
• Florida – Tax: 6% for Broward County, 7% for Miami-Dade County
• France – VAT: 20%, however, 10% can be applied when an itinerary includes International Waters
• Greece – VAT: 12%
• Italy – VAT: 22%, however 6.6% (over 24m) and 8.8% (under 24m) can be applied when an itinerary includes International Waters
• Montenegro – NO VAT
• New England – NO TAX
• Spain – VAT: 21%
• Turkey – NO VAT

Charterers can purchase cancellation and curtailment insurance – which is similar to traveler’s insurance. This insurance can help cover costs if a charterer must cancel or shorten the charter. Charter brokers can help you weigh insurance options, and often offer several different options.

Crew Gratuity

While crew gratuity is certainly not mandatory, it is recommended, particularly if you were truly impressed with your charter experience. In general, crew gratuity is roughly 15-20% of the base charter rate, which is handed to the captain at the conclusion of your charter.

Delivery Fees

While these fees do not apply on most charters, you may be asked to pay delivery costs if you are not chartering in the yacht’s normal cruising ground. In most cases, you will only be required to cover the fuel for the trip.

She is an up galley, owner’s edition, and has 1 master king suite with a large walk-in shower plus 3 spacious queen cabins, all en-suite with stall showers and electric freshwater flush toilets, 32′ smart TVs in all staterooms plus wireless charging pads in all bedside tables. Chef Risa Renay

Born and raised in New York City, Chef Risa is no stranger to the adventures of international cuisine. Traveling to over 45 countries over the past ten years, Risa is passionate about fresh, local ingredients and creating unique dishes that combine classic fare with innovative flavors. With over fifteen years in the hospitality industry and almost a decade of yacht chef experience in locations ranging from the Mediterranean to South East Asia to the Caribbean – she is excited to join the Relentless team and reunite with the beautiful blue waters of the Virgin Islands.

Rita was born and raised in Hungary, but her passion for travel got her traveling around the world and led her to exotic places such as Thailand, Bali, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Her life goal of helping people made her quit her office job and instead, she became a full-time massage therapist for the Ritz-Carlton on the beautiful island of St Thomas, USVI. Combining her passions, traveling and massaging, it was just a matter of time for her to become a therapist on a boat. In June 2017 she began her yachting career as a Stew/ Deckhand/ and a Massage therapist. Since nothing makes Rita happier than to see relaxed and happy guests on board, please don’t ever hesitate to request a Swedish massage for relaxation, a deep tissue massage for muscle pain & tension, or perhaps a stress-releasing workout together after your delicious dinner!

Lisa , June 2019 Marcus and Sara were the perfect crew. They were very attentive to our needs and made us feel very special. Marcus was knowledgeable about hot spots in the BVI’s and set a wonderful itinerary for us, reviewing the plans with us and changing them on the fly if necessary. Sara’s meals were creative and delicious. She catered to our dietary needs, effortlessly. We truly looked forward to each and every meal. The yacht was both beautiful and clean. One of the things we particularly liked was the spaciousness of the deck space with ample seating areas to find a quiet spot if needed. We loved the top deck and its 360-degree view. There was always a spot to find a cool breeze and the air conditioning in the cabins at night was wonderful. Sara’s food was like a top-quality restaurant. she catered to 2 of our gluten-free guests and vegetarian also. The dishes were both delicious and beautifully presented. The BVI was amazing! You’re never too far from land and the water and weather were sublime. We especially loved the times that we sailed including our 2-hour sail to the remote island Anegada. The snorkelling was amazing and Marcus brought us to places that allowed to see sea life we had never before seen. I would also highly recommend taking a charter with Marcus McClain and Sara Nelson. They were fun and attentive to our needs and we felt very comfortable being in their company for a week.

Past Customer , April 2019 we when arrived, the first impression of the yacht was very exciting and impressive. It was clean, well organized, contemporary design, and large. Our accommodation was all great. We stayed in the master suite, so we were spoiled. What we enjoyed most about the yacht was the space. We had a party of 8, plus the captain and chef, but we never felt crowded. Marcus and Sara were wonderful, attentive hosts. Marcus was incredible. Very knowledgeable, very professional, but also very approachable with a great sense of humour. We asked a million questions, and he was always helpful, informative and insightful. Sara made the trip. Her food was incredible, perfect portions, very creative, fresh and tasty. We had one person on the trip that preferred some different items, and she went out of her way to customize his menu. Plus she was fun and energetic and a joy to be around. The meals were top notch. Something you’d get in a high-quality restaurant. Very precise presentation details. I have no idea how she does that in such a small galley. The itinerary was all perfect. Marcus approached us each morning with a plan or idea, and it always worked out great. He knew the right sports for private snorkelling, sunsets, etc.

Milford & Lori , 18th of February 2022 Without a doubt our week on Relentless was the equivalent of a week on a floating Ritz Carlton. Not only is the yacht especially beautiful inside and out, but the crew’s care for every detail of our waking moments was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We really enjoyed our time with Captain Luke, Steward/Massage Therapist Rita, and Chef Risa. The professional way they managed everything that was happening created such a relaxed hospitable setting. The yacht itself is stunning inside and out. It was so clean and cared for that it looked brand new. Every area of the boat is well appointed, spacious and inviting. The fly bridge was a perfect gathering spot with plenty of comfortable furniture arranged for our group to enjoy under way or anchored. It was also really special to be there overlooking the clear blue sea as we were sailing to our next destination. So peaceful.

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates

The Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on the number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters come complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess).  NB some yachts may be skipper only (with the option of a chef) – they are stated as such. Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your group’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to an additional charge.  Watersports equipment (such as paddleboards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all-inclusive diving.

High season rates typically apply from December to April, and Low season from May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.

Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures).  Please ask for a full breakdown of costs for your chosen yacht. Additional supplements may apply at Christmas and New Year.

All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only.  Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly.

Please note that our bareboat repeat client discount does not apply to our crewed charter fleet.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.

• Additional water-sports  (other than those included on the crewed yacht) are all available at competitive rates.
• Hotel Accommodations  throughout the islands can be arranged. Most major credit cards accepted.  Please check our Accommodations page for more information.

An Environmental levy of $10 per head is payable by all visitors to the BVI on arrival (effective 1st Sept 2017).

Bookings and Cancellations  – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.

Euphoria Description

This stunning Sunreef is a superb example of a luxury charter sailing catamaran. She has 3 queen cabins each with private ensuite baths including electric heads, vanity and separate showers. She boasts multiple areas for all 6 guests to sit and relax or sip a cocktail and enjoy the cool trade winds of the beautiful Caribbean! Furthermore, the salon has more than enough space for all guests to be comfortable for lounging or dining. The exterior aft deck also offers alfresco dining for 6 guests, top deck seating and a lounge area in front of the helm. Your guests will have their expectations exceeded time and time again while on charter on Euphoria!

Kyle Foster As a seasoned boat captain and waterman, I´ve successfully navigated over 300 charters in the US Virgin Islands. My primary goal is to ensure that every guest leaves with cherished memories and a beaming smile. Beyond sailing, I enjoy moments spent surfing, spearfishing, and free diving, all while fine-tuning my personal sailboat. Additionally, I enjoy honing my mixology skills, holding a bartender´s certification, I enjoy crafting the perfect cocktails to enhance the flavors of a meal or elevate any island occasion. Fueling my love for exploration, the great outdoors, and the feeling of adrenaline rushes are passions I´ll never let go of. As a PADI Master Diver, I am always avid to swim into the ocean´s depths, on the lookout for exotic marine life, whether equipped with scuba gear or relying solely on free diving. My expertise in free diving extends beyond conventional reefs; you´ll often find me 50 feet under, in pursuit of a lobster dinner! I grew up surrounded by water, but I first began sailing in the British Virgin Islands during my teenage years. The experience embedded a mark on me, igniting my need for adventure. Years later, I left for my hometown in Maryland and enrolled in an ASA catamaran sailing course based out of St. Thomas. This decision rekindled my passion, propelling me to work as a sailing yacht technician on vessels ranging from 44 to 70 feet. After months of dedication, I acquired my very own 40-foot sailboat, established my presence within the local community, and began living my dream. Now, with my USCG Master Near Coastal captain´s license and a wealth of experience and expertise, I am thrilled to share my profound love for adventure and the islands with all the guests I have the privilege of welcoming aboard. Stacy Ulmer Hailing from the Chesapeake Bay in Southern Maryland, Stacy has always been drawn to living by the water. Having spent time living in the bustling cities of Valparaiso, Chile, Washington, DC and Oakland, CA, she was looking for a slower pace of life. Originally planning to only spend her teacher summer in the USVI, she quickly fell in love with the natural wonders both on land and underwater, and decided to make this her new home. While she misses the food scenes in such culturally diverse cities and dramatic coastlines of the West Coast, she has settled into her relaxing Caribbean lifestyle here on the west end of St. Thomas With over 15 years of hospitality experience in both fine dining and fast paced casual environments, Stacy wanted to combine her hospitality skills with her love for the water and pursued her STCW license at the local captains school in 2021. As part of her STCW and teacher training, Stacy is CPR, First Aid and Basic Firefighting certified. She holds a B.A in Spanish/Latin American Studies as well as a Masters in Education, and is fluent in Spanish. She has taken culinary courses with a focus on seafood with Le Cordon Bleu: Lima, Peru, and from scratch bread making courses with Turner Farms. Chef Stacy is excited for her 3rd season chartering catamarans in the USVI and BVIs, and delighting guests of all ages with her customized menus, fresh cocktails and local beer & wine pairings. In her spare time, you can find Stacy hiking to off-the-beaten path beaches with her island dogs, reading, daydreaming about her next travel destination, volunteering at the local Humane Society, testing new recipes in her kitchen, and searching for the next best snorkel adventure. While dining on board Euphoria, expect to see food inspired by Stacy’s extensive travels throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia, as well as healthy, from scratch cooking that she grew up loving while cooking alongside her mom and grandmother. Both Captain Kyle and Chef Stacy share a passion for our natural world and strive to be “green” and eco-friendly on our charter trips by eliminating single-use plastics onboard, participating in local recycling programs and buying locally sourced products whenever possible. And as the wise Anthony Bourdain once said, “If I’m an advocate for anything, it’s to move, as far as you can, as much as you can, across the ocean, or simply across the river. Karyn and I have had a fabulous week – a trip of a lifetime from our bucket list for sure. Stacy and Kyle have done a super job of listening to our requests and making them a reality – tailoring our destinations and meals to more than meet our needs. Stacy´s fresh from scratch cooking has been extraordinary. We´ve been treated like a king and queen. Kyle met our request for out of the way snorkeling destinations. We were taken to shallow patches of coral and deep drop offs with pelagic fish – wonderful! A week we will not forget!

I don´t know that the words ´thank you´ can encompass the gratitude I feel for making this week on Let´s Play Two so memorable/amazing for not just myself, but for Evan and Eliana too! John and I wanted this time on the boat to be something the kiddos will always remember with the hope being they wouldn´t want to leave - and mission accomplished! Fingers crossed that means we´ll all be crossing paths soon, on our own Hodo family cat! Stacy - I am going to need all the recipes ASAP. Everything was delicious. I hate to go back to my own cooking. Kyle - The itinerary was amazing as is your energy level. Thank yo for being our captain. Please come see us in Raleigh anytime!

Kyle and Stacy, The most amazing week! Snorkeling, fishing, lobstering, teaching our boy to spear fish and cliff jump – it has really been the perfect mix of relaxing and adventure. Stacy and Kyle, What an amazing week! Truly don´t have enough words for how much fun we have had as a family. This week has been the prefect vaca for our family. From night snorkeling, tubing, swimming with turtles, fishing, Lovango, looking for lobsters, the most amazing food and pirate night...exceeded every expectation! Can´t wait to do that again.

Kyle and Stacy, Thank you both so much for an unforgettable trip! From the very start of the week you all made everything so special for Isaac and I. From the birthday celebrations for Isaac, pirate themed and all, to the magical proposal and our anniversary. You both went above and beyond. Kyle, thank you for your captaining expertise and for helping me push my limits! The hikes, while challenging, were soo worth it and im so glad we were able to complete them all, even while you were barefoot! Thank you also for the yoga and snorkeling adventures. Most of all, thank you for your video and photography skills to make our proposal so magical! We truly cannot hank you enough for capturing that moment for us. Stacy, wow! Your food was phenomenal and I am blown away by what you are able to accomplish on a boat. I´m sorry you were notable to join us on too many land adventures and I hope you get to explore STX soon. Thank you for all your hard work in planning Isaac´s birthday celebration, our anniversary, and most of all, our after engagement beach picnic. You attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we know how much you do behind the scenes as well. We are so glad we got to go to St. Croix, explore and relax, and see lots of turtles! Wow, what an amazing trip!! We can´t thank you enough. This journey was amazing! I´m so thankful for both of you making this trip soooo special. You guys were the perfect duo and no one else could have done what you guys did. You guys were able to do everything we wanted from relaxing, tourist things, hiking, yoga, snorkeling, food/drink/snacks, learning to sail, and most importantly putting in the hard work of pulling off the most magical day on the 6th – simply breathtaking from the new found profession on photography to the romantic beach picnic. Too many incredible memories to try to write down! We absolutely loved Kyle & Stacy; vibe, flexibility to accommodate literally anything we could think of. From night snorkels to day time adventures, just absolutely amazing. Stacy, let us know when your cook book is ready! You´re an amazing chef. Stacy & Kyle, Thank you for an awesome family adventure. I have to admit I was apprehensive about spending an entire week on a boat in the ocean. But I loved it! You both are great hosts and it was really fun to be around you. Good luck to you both with your careers and lives. It was an honor to meet and get to know you.

Absolute favorites include but not limited to fun facts of the day, inspired/creative takes on simple, healthy, incredible food, playing with dolphins, sunrise hikes with epic views an overall perfect vibe the whole trip. Huge thanks to Stacy & Kyle – you guys are the best!

My husband and I and 2 other couples went on an amazing 3 night, 4 day cruise the on Let’s Play Two last month. I highly recommend this trip or one even longer!!! Captain Kyle is amazing! His positive energy is infectious and his skill level as a Captain in top notch! He made everything fun while still having safety always on his mind. From the hammock on the back of the boat, to the clear bottom kayak and all the other fun floating things there was always lots of fun things to do! He knew the best spots to go, snorkeling or private beach’s to just hangout! He even brought the cooler to the beach for us! He is truly one of the nicest most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure to meet! Chef Stacy is amazing as well!! I still think about her Breakfast Taco’s to this day!! Not to mention her homemade Bloody Mary mix!! The freshness of her meals and her knowledge of the Virgin Islands really completed this great trip! Her and Kyle worked really well together to see to our every need. I highly recommend Let’s Play Two and Kyle and Stacy!

The trip of a lifetime! Stacy & Kyle were beyond. We saw all kind of wildlife. Too many turtles to keep track of. Spotted eagle rays, sting rays, and DOLPHINS! They even swam with us, we truly had the most amazing time thanks to Kyle & Stacy. Our food was incredible. We will always cherish the memories!

Our Favorites: Meals, our beloved Mabel, catching a tarponwith a flower, St. John carnival, fireworks& all of 4th of July, floating concert, snorkeling with Emily, drink of the day, morning yoga! Thank you both for the most amazing vacation we all have ever been on. Words cannot describe how blessed & lucky we all feel from such a once in a lifetime experience. Both of your easy going nature and overwhelming generosity added such a calm environment on the boat. My daughter, Anna, said before the trip that one of the things she was looking forward to was the food- she was not disappointed. We loved the scuba. We are newly certified divers and they made us feel comfortable and safe. We appreciated Capt Cory giving us an itinerary based on his experience- he didn’t disappoint. The trip was perfect for us- we were content to spend time on the boat relaxing/reading while also spending time snorkeling, hiking, scuba, etc. We would definitely sail with Capt Cory and Chef Emily again.

We have too many words to say about this wonderful week, it was perfect. I wanted to spend time with my kids, alone, without interruption before they leave the nest for good, and it was heaven! Getting to know you two was icing on the cake. I have memories of this week that I will carry with me always. After the last year and a half we all needed to reset, recargue and refocus. Euphoria gave us the safe haven we all needed. With you all, I felt so safe and protected from everything which is what we needed. I will carry Euphoria, Emily & Cory in my heart always. I will never forget this time and I cannot wait until next time. I didn´t even have time to mention the FOOD! OMG, the BOAT! Amazing. The most comfortable boat imaginable.

December 2021 (New Years)

This has been a trip of a lifetime for our family! So many firsts for our kids from water skiing to knee boarding, catching 2 huge mahi all while sailing through paradise. It has als been such a relaxing week for me and Graham which is hard to come by when traveling with 4 kids. Words can’t express how much we appreciate all you two have done for us this week. Emily- The food you lovingly prepared for us all week has been amazing. We are all a few pounds heavier! Cory- the martinis have been the ebay I have ever had! And you have been so fun with the kids, taking them tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, etc.. What fun to celebrate new years with you and an early birthday celebration for Ry and Graham. Thank you for making all these special memories for us! I could go on but the kids want me to leave room for them. You two will be in our hearts forever and we will definitely stay in touch and see you again! Thank you again for this incredible experience! I try to center our life around little moments that create big memories! You both have impacted our lives and I hope we have done the same for you. As we continue to write our family story, we will look to add more more moments/ memories and find a way to plan Part II! Until our next sail together! Thank you so much for the fun and joy you have brought to us. You made every minute special and fun whether it was an amazing meal, or getting thrown off the tube. You helped make so many amazing memories for us over the week and I had so much fun! Turtles, water skiing, snorkeling, shell hunding, sailing, new years ball drop, and even cheese touch wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. You helped me forget about my stressful life back home with gym & school and remember that there is more than that & there is so much adventure out there. This vacation has been nothing short of phenomenal, and I can’t imagine a better pair to share it with. You guys have done more than I thought 2 people were capable of, and we were able to feel like our lifelong friends. Emily, I will never forget your delicious meals, and I have to come back for a few more double date scubas. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for curating such an outstanding trip, fit with meal after meal of delicious food, awesome scuba dives and incredible water activities/ hikes, we loved being whisked from thing to thing without a moment of boredom! It was great having such knowledgeable and talented individuals at the hel0, and I so enjoyed hearing all your stories throughout the trip. So when we booked this trip I really didn’t know what to expect. I figured epic family vacation. This cruise and crew shattered my expectations. Gorgeous aqua water, gourmet meals & snacks, I give it an 11/10. I’m so gonna miss this!

Loved everything you did to make this week joyful and special, from the secret lobster holes to the fabulous food to the Christmas caroling from the tender. Relentless 60, yacht description.

Relentless is a 2020 60ft catamaran, newly designed from Sunreef. This yacht is modern in every respect from the space age shape through to the beautifully designed interior. Layout is one master king suite with a large walk in shower, plus a further three queen cabins with walk around beds and good sized ensuite bathrooms.

The salon is amazing – more like the interior of an upmarket hotel than a boat. Tons of room to relax and watch your chef prepare your sumptuous meals. The cockpit has an outdoor dining option and upstairs is a really amazing flybridge with another dining option and comfy seating – the best place to be for sunsets. There is a further outdoor area forward which offers sun pads and sheltered seating.

Rendezvous diving

If your crewed charter yacht does not offer onboard diving then fear not, rendezvous diving can be arranged.

So what is Rendezvous diving?

A local dive company will pick you up direct from your charter yacht at a pre-determined location and take you for a one- or two-tank dive to experience the BVI below the water. This is an excellent option if only a couple of guests wish to dive or can work equally as well if all your group are interested. If your charter yacht offers minimal onboard diving, then rendezvous diving can also work if you wanted to add a few more dives during your charter.

Rendezvous diving is at additional cost, payable locally. The dive company provides all gear.

Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). A 2020 launch, the brand new luxury sailing catamaran Sunreef 60 VULPINO has just joined the Croatia charter fleet. This stunning yacht not only features a smart and charter-friendly layout but boasts some impressive social areas at the bow, stern cockpit and flybridge. Whether you are vacationing with your family or want to reunite with your friends this spacious and powerful catamaran is hard to beat. Sunreef 60 VULPINO comfortably accommodates 8 guests in the opulent master suite with a walk-in closet and 3 spacious elegant guest cabins all ensuite, with separate cabins for crew. In each cabin, there is A/C unit with individual controls, plugs, adaptors, 4 pillows, quilt and complimentary bottled water. At every bathroom, guests will find bath towels, hand towels, cosmetic tissues, hair dryer, complimentary L’occitane toiletry. The cockpit is stocked with beach towels and complimentary sunscreen lotion. The VULPINO is available in Croatia from May 2020 from Split, and as the optional pick-up/pick off port Dubrovnik. The crew of three (captain, chef & stewardess), all trained professional with experience in their fields, will make You feel like you are on your own yacht and make sure you have the privacy but still be catered to.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht VULPINO is a 60 ft sailing catamaran. VULPINO spends the summer season in Croatia. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Sunreef Yachts in 2020. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

VULPINO is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The immersive cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. The sailboat features 2 X Volvo Penta D3-150 Power generator 220 V 22,5 Kw engines and a generator.

Captain Teo is fluent in English language, has a Bachelor degree - Engineer of maritime transport & RYA YACHT MASTER OFFSHORE up to 200GT. Languages: English, Croatian Previous Yachts: S/Y My Destiny, S/Y Adriatic Tiger Favourite place on the Adriatic Coast: When the weather allows, I’m always happy and excited to sail to the remote island of Susac. Off of the navigation routes, it's an oasis surrounded by the endless open sea that makes you feel completely secluded from the rest of the world. The only inhabitants of the island are the lighthouse keeper who is good friend of mine and Shepard with his flock of sheep. CHEF MARIO FRAS (Born 1980) Chef Mario Fras is educated, talented and highly motivated chef with a positive approach and the ability to work in a busy environment. He is passionate about food and enjoys preparing both modern and traditional dishes using the ingredients strictly from the local markets. Mario combines effective communication skills with years of professional cooking experience and kitchen management. Born and raised on the Island of Vis, educated at the Know cooking schools in Croatia, chef Mario will present the best of the Croatia culinary experience aboard S/Y Vulpino. Marina always loved to work in the people business, from film festivals through wedding organizations to jobs in hospitality and gastronomy, where she has discovered her passion for cuisine. Besides her current position, Marina enjoys fashion, interior design, and photography. She is fluent in English; loves horseback riding and painting. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). AMAYA is a beautiful Sunreef 60, accommodating up to 8 guests in 4 cabins, each with their own individual AC controls and USB outlets. All cabins are en suite with electric flush toilets and stall showers. This galley up version features a spacious cockpit for dining, which opens onto an expansive aft deck with panoramic views. The foredeck holds additional entertainment spaces with sunken seating, sunpads, and trampolines, easily accessible through the salon or along the outside. The covered flybridge with table provides another generous vista point, and is an ideal place for lounging and enjoying a cooling cocktail.

Represented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht AMAYA is a 60 ft sailing catamaran. AMAYA spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was delivered by the well-known ship builder Sunreef Yachts in 2019. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

AMAYA is classified primarily as a sailing catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and usually it where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The immersive cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins offer designer mattrace beds and feature ensuite bathrooms. Multiple portholes supply a sunny feeling, with the option for darkness and privacy.

Amy & Biff have been sailing together since 2003 when they first met on a beach in Greece. They were supposed to meet at the ferry port of sleepy Porto Heli but Biff forgot to pick Amy up and she found him instead at the bar on the beach, entertaining his guests! That was the start of something special and they have worked, lived & sailed together ever since. Having always worked in the marine tourist industry they love meeting strangers who at the end of their vacation leave as friends! Biff Captain Biff learned to sail at the Cub Scouts at a tender age and was hooked! As soon as he was old enough to teach sailing he packed his bags & found his way to the Mediterranean coast of France to start his first overseas instructor job. Working his way around France and Spain he finally settled down in Greece running his own sailing school on the chic Greek Riviera. Cold winters of Europe called him to work in Kenya briefly before settling in the BVI’s running luxury charters in warm waters! Amy Having learned to cook at the age of 9 so she could watch ‘neighbours’ (Aussie Soap) on TV, Amy added windsurfing & then sailing to her interests after finishing university in order to travel. First working in Turkey, Italy & France Amy finally moved to Greece & met Biff. Wherever she travels she picks up local recipes and cooking techniques, which she refined at the renowned Ashburton & River Cottage cookery schools, both in Devon, UK. Fresh, seasonal & local produce are her favourite ingredients put together in a fusion of worldwide flavours for all to enjoy! Between them, Amy & Biff have the experience & knowledge to steer you a course to a truly memorable vacation. With their water sports background they are able to teach even the most reluctant swimmers, sailors, paddle boarders to confidently make the most of their time on the water regardless of age. Their years working in family orientated resorts in Europe also lend them to be dab hands at arranging fun and relaxing family charters. Known for their flexibility & competence, your wish is their command. Piers Reid A third crew member, Piers Reid, rounds out the team. Piers holds a RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail endorsement. He has been sailing professionally around the world since 2014. Piers is happy to lend a hand wherever needed; guiding you on a hike ormaking your favorite cocktail just to name a few. The yacht’s name was changed four times, but JFK coined the enduring Honey Fitz . The moniker was reportedly inspired by his maternal grandfather John Francis Fitzgerald. Kennedy frequently went cruising on Honey Fitz with his family. Former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis even redesigned the interiors in the early 1960s.

In 1971, the U.S. government sold Honey Fitz to a private owner. The vessel then fell into various states of repair and disrepair, until entrepreneur Charles R. Modica stubbled across it in 2020. He and his team decided to stop the nearly century-old cruiser from completely deteriorating and returned it to its former glory via an extensive, three-year restoration. Historical functioning parts from the 1930s, World War II, and the presidential eras from 1945 to 1971 can still be seen throughout the ship.

Honey Fitz offers the glitz and glamor befitting a world leader, too. The yacht, which can comfortably accommodate up to 35 guests, features a spacious main salon, a fully equipped galley, a plush stateroom, and a glorious sundeck. It is also outfitted with a state-of-the-art navigation system and the latest safety equipment.

The elegant wooden vessel is particularly suited to weddings, private parties, and corporate events, but nothing’s stopping you from taking it for a spin as a pretend president. Charter cruises depart from the Pelican Club.
