The SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 was a yacht starship, similar to a transport, only more suited to travellers rather than cargo, and far more luxurious.

The Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 is 50 meters long, with a pair of engine pods that extended from the main hull. Each pod houses a sublight engine and a hyperdrive engine. It also has an observational level with an exterior deck near the aft of the ship, while the interior compartment has a small jet-stream meditation pool and several conform-couches. The main deck offers a dining area, a large private suite, and five visitor cabins, as well as the escape pods, the bridge and the main control systems. In addition, the viewports on the side of the ship are retractable. Above the bridge is a docking coupling. The power couplings and sensor arrays were at the front of the ship, and in some cases jut out.

The Sorosuub Luxury Yacht is a veteran reward given to players who have been subscribed to SWG for at least 180 continuous days, or in other words, 6 months. The yacht is a mutli-player ship that is great for hosting parties through space, but has no weapons for space combat. The Yacht is also invulnerable to attack, and cannot be challenged to duel. It can initiate the Lost Star Destroyer Heroic but players will not receive the bonus buff you would if a vulnerable craft was used. It can hold up to 100 items, and does not take up any lots while in the player's datapad.

Note: As the Sorosuub Luxury Yacht is a Veteran Award, it can not be modified with Crafted or Looted Space components, such as weapons, engines, etc.

The command /getvet will allow you to see how many days are logged for Veteran Rewards and if enough time is accumulated, then to receive that Reward using the /claimVet command.

The SoroSuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 is a luxury yacht made famous by the Lady Luck. The Lady Luck is the personal starship of gambler and New Republic hero Lando Calrissian. Lando has owned numerous starships throughout his long career, but the Lady Luck has been the most durable. Calrissian purchased Lady Luck from an Orthellin royal mistress after the Battle of Endor. At the time, Lando's involvement with the mining operation known as Nomad City kept him from tinkering with the starship, but in the years since he has repeatedly modified and upgraded Lady Luck.

Lando initially planned to transform the Lady Luck into an advanced luxury cruiser. However, Calrissian's near-constant involvement with the New Republic has forced him to convert the Lady Luck into a competent combat vehicle. At first glance, the fifty-meter long starship appears to be an unarmed pleasure yacht, but this placid exterior conceals five retractable laser cannons and a small ion cannon turret. A pair of powerful Chempat-6 deflector shield generators provide moderate protection from enemy fire. The Lady Luck's engines are housed in two long engine pods connected to the main hull. Although the starship's sublight and hyperdrive speeds can't match those of the Millennium Falcon, the Lady Luck can still outrace nearly any other luxury vehicle in the galaxy.

Bridge of a luxury yacht

The Lady Luck's secondary systems truly set it apart. It has a highly-sophisticated sensor system allowing Lando to detect, identify, and scan approaching vessels at great range. When the Lady Luck is scanned by customs officials or enemy forces, the ship's transponder can be programmed with up to three separate false identities that include aliases, fake cargo manifests, and modified system specs. Lando frequently changes these identities, although he has used the alias "Stardream" on more than one occasion. A droid brain aboard the starship can pilot the starship in emergencies and direct it towards a summoning unit that Lando always keeps on his belt; this feature proved especially helpful when Lando, Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo were forced to flee the mining city of Ilic. The starship also has concealed smuggler compartments.

Although the Lady Luck is now well-suited to combat, it is still a lavish luxury starship. An entire observation level includes an exterior deck and numerous viewports. Lando's private suite and the five visitor cabins are decorated with rare art from around the galaxy. Conform-couches can be found throughout the starship, and the main deck contains a jet-stream meditation pool, and a small crystal garden. Even the Lady Luck's escape pods are furnished with state-of-the-art grav-couches covered in the finest Corellian leather.

Before the Clone Wars, they were typically associated with diplomats for meetings and travel. They quickly fell out of favor as the war began as they were seen as targets for pirates and Separatists. During the Clone Wars, they were concealed with weapons to better protect themselves against Separatist attacks. Pirate captain Hondo Ohnaka piloted a Luxury 3000 space yacht dubbed Fortune and Glory.

'Access to hidden-gem ports': Why this luxury yacht is the best option for beach lovers

“This is your yacht, to do with as you please,” Captain Rob O’Leary told guests of the Emerald Sakara , the second luxury superyacht from Emerald Cruises. “We have an international crew from 21 different nations, and we are all here for you.”

I was on the maiden voyage of the 360-foot Sakara, a December 2023 sailing with the added glamor of a Champagne christening in San Juan, Puerto Rico, led by the ship’s godmother, Kelly Craighead. She is president of Cruise Lines International Association, the industry’s leading trade organization.

“Sakara” is a Sanskrit word meaning “thoughts become things” – a fitting name, given the thought that went into the ship’s chic design. And our itinerary for the week couldn’t be more yacht-like – an island-hopping experience in the West Indies, stopping in out-of-the-way ports that larger cruise ships can’t manage. And while some smaller boats can feel rocky, the Sakara’s stabilizers keep the ship on an even keel.

With just 100 guests and 76 crew, the Sakara is part of the larger trend in cruising: smaller ships that cater to vacationers who want the style and feel of a yacht, and the intimate service that accompanies that, with the amenities of a larger ship. Craighead said small-ship cruises offer “luxury at a great value, access to hidden-gem ports and unique features like marinas for water activities directly off the ship. These small ships can even be chartered for your own amazing, private yacht experience.”

After departing from San Juan, the Sakara reached the Puerto Rican island of Culebra in a few hours, just 20 miles off the coast. We hopped in a taxi van at the port to reach the pristine waters of Flamenco Beach, which consistently makes the world’s top 10 lists. It was a fall-asleep-on-the-sand kind of day, under brightly colored umbrellas, with multiple trips to the canteen for french fries.

“I hope you enjoyed Culebra today because it’s quite hard to get in, through a very narrow channel,” O’Leary said at a supper-hour briefing. 

The next day, we stopped at the nearby island of Vieques, which is filled with wild horses – about 2,000 of them – most of which are fully accustomed to the photo op. We docked at Esperanza Bay and wandered the waterfront. Jeeps or ATVs were available to rent for those who wanted to beach-hop, but we settled into the sand at Sun Bay. And when we sailed into Cruz Bay on the U.S. Virgin Island of St. John the next day, there were yachts and catamarans everywhere – and the Sakara fit right in.

The crew outdid itself the next day at White Bay Beach on Jost Van Dyke, the smallest of the British Virgin Islands. A barbecue feast awaited us, along with beach loungers, steel drum entertainment, and all the paddles and water toys from the ship. Later, we wandered down the beach to find a young yacht crowd, groups of friends who have rented their boats, all knee-deep in their mojitos.

“I get a real kick out of driving the Emerald Sakara into St. Barths, muscling in and anchoring next to all the other superyachts,” O’Leary said. “It looks good in the pictures.” A stop there brought a snorkeling excursion, a bit of high-end shopping and a few rosé-soaked hours on Plage de Saline.

Back on board, the creature comforts of the Sakara included plenty of outdoor space to connect with the ocean, a small infinity pool, a full-service spa and a large, elegant dining room and terrace. It’s all part of the cushy yacht lifestyle. 

The ship will spend the summer and fall cruising the Mediterranean Sea – heading for the French and Italian rivieras, Croatia and Greece – with eight-day itineraries from $5,100. The Emerald Sakara will be back in the Caribbean next December, with eight-day cruises starting at $4,100.

The Resort at Pelican Hill is a five-star luxury property located in Newport Beach, California, and is expected to join Marriott’s luxury portfolio on July 1. The 504-acre resort sits on the coast of Newport Beach and includes the Pelican Hill Golf Club, featuring two 18-hole golf courses with 270-degree ocean views. The Irvine Company will continue to own the property, with Marriott managing, and it is expected to be converted to a St. Regis at a later date.

Wild photos show million-dollar yacht with 2 aboard sinking off Florida coast

Two people were rescued from a million-dollar luxury yacht that started sinking off the Florida coast on Saturday.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, Jacksonville watchstanders were notified just before 11:40 a.m. that an 80-foot motor yacht named Atlantis had begun taking on water three miles off St. Augustine Beach.

The operator of the yacht said their vessel struck an object in the water.

Marine units from the St. Johns Sheriff's Office and the St. Augustine Police Department responded to the scene and were able to rescue both passengers on the yacht.

According to WFLA , the Atlantis yacht appears to be a 1999 or early 2000s model of the Sunseeker Predator 80. WFLA adds that a 2001 Predator that is 5 feet shorter than Atlantis is listed for $975,000.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner agencies for their invaluable assistance during this case," Senior Chief Petty Officer Ricardo Santacana, command duty officer, said.

Watchstanders issued an alert to other mariners to make them aware of the partially submerged vessel.

According to the United States Coast Guard, the yacht's owner will arrange salvage.

Santacana reminds boaters heading out to the water as the weather warms up to verify their vessels are stocked with all the necessary safety equipment.

"This ensures that responders, as demonstrated in this case, can swiftly locate you and render assistance when an emergency arises,” Santacana said.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
