AWOL (A Way of Life) yacht for charter perfectly encapsulates the true spirit of adventure and escapism.  Built by Italian yard Sanlorenzo in 2009 she is fresh from a 2019 refit and available for chartering in the Mediterranean.

Designed with families in mind AWOL yacht offers ample space on board, a stellar crew and an array of fun water toys. From being taken by her owner on Mediterranean tours, she’s proven to be a great vessel for exploring every spot from hidden coves to bustling cities. Combining the best of modern design, AWOL looks resplendent with vibrant colourful panel details and an inspiring choice of wall paintings.

The AWOL yacht for hire boasts many diverse spaces for guests to enjoy, from the large and convivial to the small and intimate. She has two saloons; the formal main saloon located on the main deck and the more casual in style upper deck sky lounge.  The main saloon is furnished with a large dining table and lounge seating.  In the sky lounge, meanwhile, you will find entertainment seating, sofas and a desk to fulfil your every need as you enjoy the panoramic ocean views.

Off the main saloon, the aft deck offers a great-sized lounge area, whilst up on the upper deck, there are informal seating and a dining table for relaxed outdoor eating. The flybridge is home to a jacuzzi and sunpads for the ultimate in relaxation. Yet more seating and sunpads can be found on the forward deck with Portuguese style seating and padded seating on the bow.

Light fills the spacious accommodation on board across the cabins (of which there are two twin pullmans, two doubles, a VIP and master). Twelve guests can relax and enjoy contemporary designed schemes that offer integrated audio-visual entertainment and deluxe ensuites.

Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element, thanks to the impressive line up of water toys and equipment. In addition to the Axopar Sun-Top chase tender, there’s everything from water-skis to Seabobs… from jetsurfs to inflatable canoes. Explore diverse underwater marine life with the aid of snorkelling gear or whizz across the land with the five electric land scooters on board.

Most superyachts live a life of secrecy, but not AWOL. This Sanlorenzo SD122 is the star of the YouTube channel Superyacht Captain and the eponymous presenter Tristan Mortlock invited Nick Burnham on board at the most recent Cannes Yachting Festival.

Built in 2009 by Italian yard Sanlorenzo Yachts , AWOL is a semi-displacement superyacht with room for 12 guests.

She is run by a crew of eight, led by Tristan, and when this video was filmed she was being prepared for a huge party, which is why some carpets and artwork were missing.

Nick shows us all the key areas of AWOL , from the main-deck master cabin with its walk-in wardrobe and his and hers bathrooms, to the sprawling sundeck, complete with bar and hot tub.

The 24m motor yacht AWOL, built by Lazzara Yachts was recently launched and has now been delivered to her owners who are enjoying her maiden cruise through the beautiful waters of the Bahamas. Yacht Awol will then move to Australia , where she will be permanent based, offering luxury yacht charters throughout Queensland, thanks to her certification by IYB as a commercial yacht.

The Awol motor yacht was built in Lazzara’s shipyard in Tampa, Florida. M/Y AWOL is the 22 nd yacht in the LSX 78 series of motor yachts, but the first to be certified by IYB as a commercial yacht under the Marshall Islands’ flag. As the charter yacht AWOL will be based in Australia, she was also built for compliance with the Australia National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV).

Plan review, surveys, and commercial certification were completed by the IYB Survey Station at Fort Lauderdale. Project coordination was led by Mr. Fabrizio Loi, President of InterYachting, LLC.

International Yacht Bureau (IYB) is an independent organization dedicated to the safety, environmental protection, and security activities of private and commercial yachts.

Awol has a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure.

Away features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Away. Principle among these is a waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish.
