ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF, the new 45m superyacht to debut at next Cannes and Monaco boat shows

ISA Yacht, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has launched its latest creation, ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF , a 45-metre sports yacht built on three decks. The naval architecture was handled by Palumbo Superyachts’ technical department, the exterior design was developed by the Palumbo Superyachts Design Team – Enrico Gobbi , while the interior is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture.

Aria’s owner’s favourite themes, such as waves, sand, rocks, corals, wind and speed, have been abstractly transposed onto the bulkheads behind the textured resin beds and onto the walls of the heads and interior stairways through the use of wallpaper.

Saloon spaces and cockpits can be doubled by opening the windows, while curtains on all sides provide protection from the sun. From a circular window aft of the upper deck, there is access to the formal dining room for 10 people, which can be arranged around a round table.

An en plein air gymnasium is set up on the fly deck and a telescope is placed in the bow.

ISA GT 45 Aria SF has many elements constructed in carbon fibre by Tecno Tessile Adler , such as the aft hatch that conceals the beach club and the frieze inserted on the hull forward. The pool aft of the main deck lets natural light filter into the beach club below.

A side-opening garage on the starboard side of the lower deck houses a 5-metre tender , while a hangar forward houses the rescue boat and two jey skies, which can be moved by means of a hydraulic crane.

The hull of the ISA GT 45 is built in steel with an aluminium superstructure; power comes from two CAT C32 ACERT, 1300 hp each , capable of delivering a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5. ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF will be premiered at the forthcoming Cannes and Monaco 2022 boat shows .

Bering 145 is the first fully customized superyacht in the Bering fleet. Designed by an in-house team of naval architects and engineers, she has a full displacement steel hull of 514 metric tons. As a result of the vessel’s specialized stabilization systems, the B145 provides a supremely comfortable ride with minimal rolling and ultimate stability.

The B145 superyacht features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable-speed DC generators, making docking and mooring easy in the electric mode. The Bering 145 also boasts an enormous fuel capacity of 70,000 liters (18,492 gallons). Equipped with twin CAT C-32 1200 BHP @ 1800-2100 RPM engines, she has a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles in diesel mode at a minimum cruising speed of 12 knots. Brief Specifications

Bering 145, a 45-meter superyacht, is the new flagship of the Bering Yachts fleet. This transoceanic model, which combines elegance, speed, and the latest technology, will be ready for delivery in two years.

Bering 145 is the first fully customized superyacht in the Bering fleet. Designed by an in-house team of naval architects and engineers, it has a full displacement steel hull of 514 metric tons.

The superyacht features a hybrid propulsion system. The propeller is driven by electric motors charged by a bank of batteries. The banks are recharged by high-efficiency, variable speed DC generators. Docking and mooring is possible in the electric mode. Bering 145 can take on the most extreme cruising itinerary. The superyacht has an enormous fuel capacity: 70.000 L (18.492 gal.). It can travel more than 4,000 nautical miles in diesel mode at a minimum cruising speed of 12 knots. The maximum speed of the vessel is 15 knots.

Bering 145 features a highly functional layout on a 9.15-meter beam. The master stateroom is located on the main deck toward the bow, with glass windows measuring more than 9.5 square meters. Additionally, there are five guest rooms. A huge saloon with a dining area for 12 persons and a lounge area are located on the main deck. Another dining table is on the upper deck, in the sky lounge. The yacht has 4 crew staterooms and the captain quarter. Total crew capacity is 9.

The lower deck includes 32 square meters of storage space for equipment such as water toys and spare parts. Also, the superyacht is equipped with several tenders that can be placed on the upper deck. Bering 145 also includes a spacious beach club at the stern. Just imagine a space of 40 square meters for relaxing and entertaining!

The two side terraces allow visual boundaries to be broken down, creating a feeling of immersion in nature and integrating the sea as an integral part of the furnishings, while the helm station, characterized by a technological and modern design, is protected by a large and sturdy bimini top and flanked by an outdoor galley.

The bow passage is wide, comfortable and safe, and in just a few steps you reach the double facing sofa, located forward and equipped with a sundeck on the deckhouse. The bright interior by SY DESIGN is conceived as a versatile and smart open space. Despite the small size of the boat (13m), it includes two cabins, a head and an extraordinary space arrangement that offers comfort and practicality.

BILGIN Shipyard has launched their new 45 metre superyacht ‘TATIANA’. The exterior and interior of yacht Tatiana has been designed by the well-known German superyacht designer Joachim Kinder from Munich. She combines the style of an open yacht with the volume and cruising comfort of a displacement yacht.

Motor yacht TATIANA is the second yacht to be built for the same client yacht owner. That sort of client loyalty obtains only when a shipyard works fastidiously and fairly to earn it.

EXTERIOR of M/Y TATIANA The style of this true-four-deck yacht is very unique and sleek, evoked by fluent lines. Large window sections, uncommon design solutions and alignments of bulwark and stern area emphasis her length. Her hull colouring is supporting this powerful dynamic shape, like an utterly relaxed animal that seems ready to develop tremendous power at any moment. An aesthetic tension creates a sporty appeal. Consequently, the overall concept has been done from inside to outside in order to harmonise the hull’s lines with the yachts silhouette.

Her sizeable rectangularly portholes are another eye-catching trademark. The windows play a key role in creating this generous space – the light and spacious interior eliminates any distancing effect that could alienate guests from their environment, allowing them to integrate more fully with the yacht’s marine surroundings. The main deck forward as well as the upper deck aft superstructure are designed as a wide body in order to generate extraordinary interior space. Upper aftdeck and the flybridge are planned in such a manner, that this areas could be separated for owner usage only.

Continuing the theme of maximizing outside space, all outer decks are laid out with ample space and are well equipped with sunbathing beds, swimming pool, Spa Pool, bars, chaises longues and seating areas on either ends, from bow to stern. These facilities and plenty of space allow several groups to be separated from each other for sitting, amusement or relaxing.

The fly bridge is dominated by a central swimming pool covered with BIZZASSA tiles and an adjacent sun bed. Nearly the entire fly bridge is shaded by a hardtop and easily convertible by retractable awning in an open area. A barbecue, an alfresco bar and a built -in L-shaped dining area as well as several chaises longues complete the arrangement. The space offers maximum comfort and great freedom of movement.

INTERIOR OF LUXURY YACHT TATIANA The brief of the basic outline embodied certain aims: firstly, to create a feeling of spaciousness in every room, secondly, to incorporate a large number of rooms into the plan. This included, for instance, two richly equipped owners’ suites, a large foyer, a ‘state-of-the art’ cinema, four guest cabins and a spacious area for the crew, including the own mess.

In choosing the colour scheme, fabrics and materials, it has been sought to give the yacht lightness and a Mediterranean air with a timeless, classically elegant interior. Light oak has been selected in combination with wenge, beige and bourdeaux-red real leather contrasting with brushed stainless steel elements, as well as delicious displays of various granites and onyx.

The main salon is huge and has a large recessed ceiling overhead cassette with indirect illumination. One of the most interesting features in the salon is the ‘inside-outside’ bar, connected with a large sliding window part. A room divider, which is highlighted by a decorative partition glass wall, separates the living room from the dining room. Twelve people can sit around the dining table, surrounded by plenty of cabinets and sideboards. The salon is accessible through automatic aft glass sliding doors and two generous side sliding doors on each side.

Large attention has been paid for the galley. A great amount of refrigerators, a cooking island with large hob and a deep fryer, appliances from MIELE including a XXL oven and a trash compactor enable a professional cooking. The decor selection with wenge parquet, white high-gloss lacquered furniture and black KERROCK countertops creates on the other hand an elegant ambience.

From starboard side walkway you can enter the representative foyer with an artful granite floor mosaic. The cantilevered central staircase connects all decks with a beautiful atmosphere by the use of natural daylight. Unusual for a yacht of this size: a professional equipped high-end cinema with a tremendous sound and view experience. The extensive library of films and songs can also be enjoyed in each cabin and public spaces by screens and a perfect HIFI sound system.

In the front of the maindeck one of the two owner’s-staterooms is located with a generous bathroom separable by a large wide automatically glass sliding door. The freestanding wash table is topped by a attracting organic shaped washbasin from the design-affine brand KANERA. Partition walls in satin and clear glass create generosity and the use of rich natural daylight.

At the lower two large-sized VIP- and two guest-cabins are placed. All of them with a spectacular view through the outstanding portholes, no claustrophobical feeling will occur. The cabins are outfitted with king size beds, en-suite bathrooms and flat screen TVs connected to the yacht’s sophisticated entertainment system. Two of those boast a third foldaway bed.

The most unique part of the Tatiana yacht is the owner’s-stateroom on upper deck with spa area (massage-room, steam room), a luxuriously bathroom, an extra study, a lot of light and an astonishing view to the outside because of the large surrounding windows. A huge flat screen TV is situated with a ‘pop-up’ unit in the ceiling. The TV is swivelling in a way to be useable for inside and outside. The alfresco deck with a Spa Pool is construed for owner’s use only. In fact, with the exception of the wheelhouse, that entire deck is devoted to the owner. From here a well designed freestanding staircase sculpture leads to the fly bridge.

The pilothouse is dominated with an wink shaped dashboard, boast all of the most up-to-date instrumentation and, of course, very high tech solutions to control the engines. A raised sofa allows guests to observe the yacht operating and to have a glorious panoramic overview.

The crew quarter is located in the forward section and provides accommodation for the skipper and 8 others. Each cabin includes plenty of storage as well as a bathroom with KERROCK countertops. The crew mess contains a large seating are and a pantry.

Tender, two jet skis and water sport equipment are situated in the aft garage.

Yacht TATIANA has an exceptionally clearly laid-out engine room in which each piece of equipment is easily accessible.

Pride — Viudes' impressive debut 45m yacht

Building a debut boat is challenging at the most bountiful of times. But for a new yard to prove itself to the market as the financial crisis hit, toil, persistence and courage were required. Viudes Yachts, a Barcelona-based builder, started its first project, the 45 metre motor yacht Pride , in 2008.

‘She was a speculation boat from the beginning; we were hoping to sell her and have interest from the market, or maybe to be able to build two in parallel,’ says Pedro Millet, director at Viudes Yachts.

The project caught the eye and soon Viudes was enjoying the prospect of building the first model on spec and the second for a client. Then the global financial crash happened and buyers across the market put their wallets back in their pockets.

But Viudes kept building its 45 metre because, as Millet puts it, ‘People don’t have trust until they see the project finished and in the water – so the yard decided to invest to show to the market what we are able to do.’

The steel hull, aluminium superstructure, engineering and major systems were constructed at the builder’s Barcelona facilities, then the boat was transferred to Mondo Marine in Italy for fit out: electrics, teak decking, interiors, décor and painting. Viudes oversaw the work of Mondo Marine’s teams and all other contractors.

Indeed, the desire behind the boat was to characterise the Viudes brand. Two priorities were set: a feeling of proximity to the sea, and volume. Underlying these was the decision to finish the boat, but leave facilities flexible.

The volume issue was tackled through the initial decisions to ask Barcelona-based naval architect Isonaval to design a naturally voluminous displacement hull, with a 9.5 metre beam and classically styled superstructure – curving exterior lines can smooth away space. Viudes made every possible area into living space, even squeezing a sauna and shower room forward of the beach club, in what might otherwise have been storage.

As the next step, Viudes got physical. ‘We did a 1:1 scale mock-up of the complete boat in plywood – three levels,’ says Millet. ‘We were able to go “on board” and play with the sizes of rooms, where to put the fan coils, what we could do to modify walls and all of that. The VIP was achieved playing with the bow in this way.’

The resulting cabin, forward on the lower deck, sacrifices direct crew access to guest accommodation from the service areas in the bow, but does feel spacious for a 45 metre. It is full-beam, with a seating area, huge double bed, walk-in wardrobe and en suite. There are four more cabins aft of here, two twins and two doubles, since the builder was also keen to offer a six cabin layout as a distinguishing feature: ‘Very few 45s have six cabins and on the ones that do, the cabins are not the size of ours,’ asserts Millet.

These cabins do indeed feel spacious and this has a lot to do with the minimum head height of 2.15 metres Viudes insisted on throughout. The interior decoration relies on this feeling of spaciousness. The classical style features rich cherry wood floors and paneling, beige upholstery, swagged curtains with an abundance of tassels, gold baroque flourishes, onyx bar tops and portoro marble en suites. Most striking is a two metre-long crystal chandelier by Laudarte that hangs in the stairwell. It is a lot for a 45 metre yacht, but because of the tall spaces the effect is grand rather than crowded. This is particularly apparent as you descend the wide, cream-carpeted staircase from the main deck lobby to the lower deck lobby – flanked at the bottom by two brass columns topped with cut glass balls. It feels like the feature of a much larger boat.

But on-board life is focused on the exterior and the most notable feature of the yacht is the huge aft swim platform, developed with nautical fittings specialist Sanguineti Chiavari. It not only provides a generous outdoor space on the water, but also features an aft swim ladder that can be raised or lowered 2.8 metres – down into the water or up to the dock. When the stern is closed, this operates independently as a passerelle from the main deck. Forward, a beach club has been created by locating the Castoldi tender and two jet skis in an adjacent garage with side launching (via a hydraulic crane).

A connection with the outdoors is also maintained by fixed balconies either side of the full-beam, main deck master cabin. The suite also has a grand, black, marble and onyx en suite (with spa bath and two showers, one with a steam generator) two dressing rooms and a large office.

The 115 square metre sundeck is the ultimate expression of Viudes’ focus on outdoor living. It offers a wet bar with fridge, ice maker, teppanyaki grill and dumbwaiter from the galley, plus lots of seating and lounging areas. But the deck also features an example of the flexibility of Pride : a sunpad island accommodates a circular table with seating, but under the deck is all the plumbing for this to be transformed into a spa pool. ‘We have the drain, the water connection,’ says Millet, ‘If anybody asks, we just cut around and put the [spa pool] in where the table is now.’

The upper deck gym, forward of the upper saloon, is also adaptable. ‘We haven’t put any machines in yet so that an owner can choose what he wants,’ says Millet. ‘But also, because one will want a gym, another will want a cinema, we have the equipment behind the wall so if you want to put a Kinesis (strength training) machine in, it’s prepared, and we have all the connections behind the wall for a big TV.’ This prepare-for-anything attitude also applies to the galley, where four tall units can be used as either fridges or freezers, depending on cruising plans.

Pride is engineered to cruise the globe at a stately pace, with two Caterpillar 970kW engines and a 72,000 litre fuel capacity offering a range of 5,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. The engine room is spacious and neat, with finishing by Mondo Marine. ‘We were not concerned with the speed,’ says Millet, ‘it was more a question of comfort; we were ready to sacrifice some speed to have bigger spaces, low consumption and a nice range.’

The wheelhouse was installed with Italian company DomoSystems, which also installed the entertainment systems, controlled throughout by iPads. The bridge is integrated, with touch screens, while reverse angled windows offer 280 degrees of visibility and wing stations are on both side decks.

With plans for a 24, 30 and 52 metre – if clients come along – Viudes seems to positively thrive in adversity.
