Venetian Bay Yacht Club requires all buyers and rentals to submit an application to the board for consideration and approval to own or rent.   You can submit your VBY - Sale-Lease Application.pdf by emailing [email protected]    and mailing the required application fees to Golden Property Management Services, 4099 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 403, Naples, FL 34103.

It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

All of a sudden there is much activity on the northern end of Gulf Shore Blvd North. There are two major construction projects which have been in the planning stages for years. Below we will provide a brief update on what’s happening with them.

Venetian Bay Yacht Club North rebuild 

The Venetian Bay Yacht Club North rebuild has been in the planning stages for about two years . In late November, the project broke ground with the removal of the pylons and the old dock system. The VBYCN is comprised of 75 boat slips located just north of the Park Shore Marina and ending just south of the Quadrille condominiums at the north end of Venetian Bay.

The newly rebuilt yacht club will be in the exact same footprint as the one it is replacing, it will not be expanded in size. The new docks will be rebuilt at an elevation six to twelve inches higher than the original . The new pylons will enable those owners desiring to add a boat lift to their slip to do so. It is anticipated that this project will be completed in late Spring of this year . As a point of interest, you must be a Park Shore resident to own a slip at VBYCN.

We all look forward to seeing this project completed, it will be a great addition to the GSAC neighborhood.

Gulf Shore Blvd North Seawall Repair/Rebuild Phase 1

This project began nearly five years ago on May 8, 2018 when two GSAC Board Members including myself attended a Naples City Council to request the City file a Declaratory Judgement action to determine who owned the Seawall . Based on the documents available it was unclear whether the City or a private party owned it. Last year it was determined the City was the owner. The City then hired an Engineering firm to assess the condition of the 3200 linear foot Seawall along Venetian Bay from the southern end of the Venetian Bay Yacht Club South to the northernmost point of the Bay.

At a City Council Meeting last fall, Council voted unanimously to approve an expenditure of $2,099,000 to replace and repair the first seven hundred feet of Seawall beginning at the south end of the Quadrille Condominium and ending at the northern property line of the Tropics condominium. The work began on January 11 with the parking lot and curbing being removed. The scope of work includes building a new Seawall six inches higher than the original one to provide additional protection against seawater rise . Additionally, the sidewalk and curbing will be replaced, the parking lot will be repaved and the landscape replaced. After the completion of phase one, the city’s engineering firm will determine which section is most at risk and will proceed to repair and rebuild that section next.

GSAC members will soon have a beautiful and safe promenade to stroll on. Thank you to the Naples City Council members and the Streets and Stormwater Department for all your support in moving this project forward!

Home to The Miami International Boat Show, the world’s largest boat and yacht event, Venetian Marina & Yacht Club is a trophy marina asset in Miami’s downtown urban core. Integra Investment’s marina business vertical, Integra Marinas, acquired the asset in 2021, formerly called Sea Isle Marina.

Located directly on Biscayne Bay, minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, Venetian Marina & Yacht Club features 185 existing wet slips for vessels up to 110 feet, long-term and short-term docking options, and retail operations.

Upon acquisition, Integra Marinas’ vision is to reposition and substantially renovate the entire marina to deliver an elevated boater experience, establishing it as the ultimate home for the Miami International Boat Show and its nearly 100,000 annual patrons. This includes upgraded on-site services, such as the addition of lift slips, state-of-the-art floating docks ology, and a new fueling system.

Once completed, Venetian Marina & Yacht Club will contribute positively to the overall waterfront aesthetic in the area and provide marina service at a level commensurate with the significant advancement of onshore development in Downtown Miami.

When you book your slip or visit the Venetian Marina and Yacht Club, be prepared to be in the heart of Downtown Miami! DT Miami, as locals affectionately call it, draws boaters and landlubbers alike from all over the world. You may ask, what’s so great about DT Miami? Well, just about everything! It’s the oldest part of the city and its historical center, yet it has a culturally rich modern vibe. From distinctive neighborhoods, waterfront parks and world-class restaurants and bars, to theaters, museums, and galleries - if you want it, you'll soon see Downtown has it.

Of course, boaters are drawn to it like moths to a flame because it’s perfectly situated on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean waterfront, with iconic palm tree lined beaches, some of the best marinas, and off-shore islands prime for exploring. And when you’re ready to trade in your boat shoes for walking shoes or dancing shoes, and venture out of Venetian Marina and Yacht Club, Miami is just steps away, ready to charm and captivate you.

We want to help you get the most out of your visit by sharing our “must see and do” list for DT Miami. Although our list contains just a small portion of the seemingly endless things to enjoy, we know it will not disappoint.

Dining and nightlight

Whether you’re in the mood for an evening of fine dining, or good but cheap eats on the run, DT Miami has both – and everything in between.

Chef Jeremy Ford’s restaurant, Stubborn Seed , just across A1A on the beachside from the marina, is seasonally driven and features an eclectic menu of American eats that are as delicious to nibble as they are to look at. But it’s not stuffy, it’s lively and thoroughly fun. Another must visit is Crazy About You . It’s chill lounge setting, prestigious dining room, and picturesque waterfront dining has made it one of Brickell's (a cool urban neighborhood of DT Miami) preferred upscale destinations.

On those days when you want something both cheap and delicious, head to Burrito San on 5th Street in Miami Beach. It’s known for its out of this world burgers and burritos - home to the ramen burger and the sushi burrito. How can you not try? In the mood for a good old-fashioned sandwich? Who isn’t? Now, whenever you put “La” in front of a name, you think expensive. Well not when it’s La Sandwicherie . They’ve been serving “heavenly sandwiches in Miami Beach since 1988.” With locations in both DT Miami and Brickell, you can conveniently try your appetite and dexterity with a thoroughly stuffed mile-high sandwich. It will ruin you for any other sandwich and is a straight shot from the marina, across the Venetian Causeway Bridge to the beach!

Oh, and we must tell you about Miami’s best kept secret; Soya e Pomodoro . It serves delightful and authentic Italian cuisine created by “two Italians with a dream.” Its homey atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating in a southern Italian family’s kitchen. Manga!

Arts and culture

One of your first stops certainly should be the Maurice A. Ferre Park (Museum Park) . Overlooking Biscayne Bay , this extraordinary park is home to both the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) as well as the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. This stop is a feast for the inquisitive mind and happens to be neighbors to the Venetian Marina so you don’t have to travel far.

From there, it’s a short walk to one of the most iconic building in DT Miami’s skyline, the Freedom Tower . It’s like visiting a “Miami time capsule”, with its ornamental Mediterranean Revival façade – which in itself is a work of art. This is probably why today it’s home to the Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design (MDC MOA+D ) with a full calendar of exhibitions, events and programs.

If live music and theater is more your thing, you should check out the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts . Not only does it house the Ziff Ballet Opera House, Knight Concert Hall and Carnival Studio Theater featuring some of the top performers of our time, but the gleaming structure is an architectural gem. And if you’re in the mood for BIG entertainment with major touring concerts and Miami HEAT games, you only have to head to the FTX Arena just down the street. Of course, if you want to add starry skies and ocean breezes to your entertainment landscape, Miami is also home to the PFL Solar Amphitheater at Bayfront Park. It’s open-air entertainment at its best.

Shopping and entertainment

Shop ‘til you drop may not have been invented in DT Miami, but it certainly was perfected here! Bayside Marketplace is a reflection of the real Miami. It’s a two-level, open-air festival center with more than 150 shops and 12 restaurants. But because Miami loves its sunshine, and it’s shopping, there is another open-air dining and shopping complex - Brickell City Centre . It’s an upscale assortment of posh shops including Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple and Sephora. And for the rainy days, there is a CMX luxury movie theater.

Bayfront Park , adjacent to Bayside Marketplace, was Miami’s first public gathering place. This idyllic park now spans 32 acres in the heart of DT Miami. It’s perfect for running, biking or just relaxing. It’s also home to the much-loved Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel . Towering 176 feet in the sky, it features 42 climate-controlled gondolas, each with a breathtaking panoramic view of beautiful DT Miami, Biscayne Bay, and miles of the surrounding area.

Last, but certainly not least, most boaters know that the Venetian Marina and Yacht Club is a proud host of the annual Miami International Boat Show . It’s THE event for all things boating and occurs each February!

Venetian Marina & Yacht Club, formerly known as Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, is located on the north side of downtown Miami and is within walking distance of all the hot city action. This marina can accommodate transient vessels up to 60' LOA with 30AMP and 50AMP power. The transient rate at this marina is inclusive of power charges. The marina does not currently offer weekly or monthly pricing for transient visitors.

SLIP NOTES: Your slip will be assigned on arrival by the marina. Please note that some slips in the marina have minimum vessel length requirements. Slips 805, 807, and 808 are only available for vessels 60' and up. Slips 414 and 430 are for catamarans only up to 42' in length and 30' in beam. Note that neither of these 2 slips have finger piers.

Venetian Marina & Yacht Club is an Awesome Stop for Fun and Nightlife in Downtown Miami

Please note that this marina does not allow sailboats to dock due to strong currents in their basin. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and urge all sailboat owners to seek alternative docking arrangements. Venetian Marina and Yachting Center has partnered with Marriott Biscayne Bay to provide our boaters with discounted rooms for confirmed bookings. Venetian Marina & Yacht Club, formerly known as Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, is located on the north side of downtown Miami and is within walking distance of all the hot city action. This marina can accommodate transient vessels up to 60' LOA with 30AMP and 50AMP power. The transient rate at this marina is inclusive of power charges. The marina does not currently offer weekly or monthly pricing for transient visitors.

If you are looking to spend some time off the boat, but not away from the water, this is the place for you. And Miami? There's so much to do! Spend the day shopping the local boutiques and high-end retailers for some new digs in the hippest fashion district in the country. Already stocked up on this season’s trends? Then get cultured at Museum Park, which includes Miami Art Museum, Miami Science Museum, and Cultural Center. Want to spend the day outside? In the event that you need to cancel within the 48 hour window, you may be issued a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster. HOLIDAY & SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: This marina has a 72 hour cancellation policy for all special events and holidays including, but not limited to, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, etc. In the event that you need to cancel within the 72-hour window, you may be issued a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster. SAILBOAT POLICY: Please note that this marina does not allow sailboats to dock due to strong currents in their basin. Reservations for sailboats will be cancelled and refunded. SLIP NOTES: Your slip will be assigned on arrival by the marina. Please note that some slips in the marina have minimum vessel length requirements. Slips 805, 807, and 808 are only available for vessels 60' and up. Slips 414 and 430 are for catamarans only up to 42' in length and 30' in beam. Note that neither of these 2 slips have finger piers.

Complete joke. Stay away. Marina is in a great location and ghetto 100%. No office communication, zero assistance with reservation, just a total mess from A to Z. If you absolutely have to stay there at $8 a foot per night then do it, but if there are any other options available to you absolutely move on.

The marina staff was absolutely wonderful. The marina needs and is under some repairs. Our arrival experience was poor, however. We showed up after hours. I called during business hours for a slip assignment and got an answering machine. I left a message with two business hours left to call me back. Never happened. We arrived with no assignment after an extremely exhausting and stressful day. We moored in an open spot only to be kicked out by the arriving boat that belonged there. Just a miserable experience that should not happen.

Still need to get showers working. Also last trip we were told there would be a plan in place to use gym and pool and Doubletree. That still has not come to fruition. Team are all super nice though.

The staff was helpful and accommodating. Most slips have quite a bit of current so docking is more challenging. REC90 gas prices are around $1.00/gal higher that at other marinas nearby.

Everyone there is off the charts nice! Staff is amazing. Still no shower in guys bathroom and lots of repairs needed in both mens and womens bathroom. No shower curtain in gals bathroom. But heard there will soon be a deal in place to use the gym showers and pool at the Marriott. I'll be back for that for sure. Great location near park.

Overall I was very happy with the location and your employees but the fact that there are no finger piers and no one informed me before I booked the slip is disappointing. Boarding and onboarding of my family onto my boat was very difficult at times.

They guided me to a slip that was impossible to dock due to the current, which pushed me into another boat. Couldn’t communicate with the dock hands because they did not have radios. Finally put me on an outside slip which was fine and should have been the first option. I will say Rostom was very polite and tried to make a bad situation better.

Regrettably, the current inside the marina basin is stronger than the current in the channel. With the stern thrusters not working properly on the vessel, as stated by the captain, the current drifted the vessel to hit another one while docking. Once confirmed with the captain on vessel size, marina staff noticed the guest had booked for a 50ft reservation, but the actual size of the vessel is 57ft. Vessel was relocated to a larger slip as a result. We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and we appreciate the feedback to our staff for trying to resolve and fix the issue. We hope to welcome this guest back for another visit in the future!

Friendly and accommodating staff deserves 5 Stars. Venetian is a 70 year old run down marina. The slip offered a 62 foot boat at $8 per night (highest anywhere) was 40 feet long and offered two pilings and a 20 foot concrete finger pier to tie to. I refused and was offered space on a curved seawall exposed to all of Miami's weekend boat traffic. The staff cannibalized power for me from another boat which resulted in several stand offs with the other boat owner and staff. Snag A Slip sells unusable slip inventory at premium prices.

The rates at our marina are set by our management team, not by Snag-A-Slip. Market studies have shown that the rates charged at our marina are at or below the market with the rest of Miami, and are fair for our location and offerings. Our nightly rate is also inclusive of power charges. Our team did place this vessel into an appropriately sized slip, not a 40' slip as stated in the review. After the first slip was declined, we worked to move vessels around to accommodate FreeStyle on an alongside dock during a sold out week due to a nearby music festival. We appreciate this boater's feedback and hope to welcome them back in the future.

Terrible experience. The marina cancelled my reservation on my behalf before my arrival. 2 boats (captain) hit my boat because the current is so strong. Your joystick will not be enough! You have to know how to dock manually and fast. Noisy. I reserved 2 nights. I stay one night and left after the first one.

Great location, within 5 minute walk of a Publix, close to shopping and dining. Some noise from partiers on the dock, and occasional rocking from large boat wakes, but none of it too bad. Very competitive rate for the area!
