COVID-19 Update

Home » About-us » Covid

July 6th, 2021

Based on our interpretation of the most recent Government of Ontario Covid 19 restrictions, members are now allowed access and recreational use of their boats, though that use is restricted to members of the same household. However, our clubhouse is still required to be closed except for washrooms and takeout and patio dining. Please adhere to all required restrictions related to social distancing, mask wearing, and dining.

We are now accepting visiting boats from reciprocal clubs as available moorings allow.

We now have a new tender app which replaces signing up for tender trips and visiting the club previously managed by signup.com. It will not replace the mast stepping schedule, or any other ad hoc signups in the future. The app will also allow you to purchase tickets. It can be found at: https://www.islandapps.ca/QCYCTendermate . It is mobile friendly and can be saved as a shortcut on your phone’s home screen for easy access.

As the Provincial Covid restrictions continue to evolve, we will update our members as soon as we can.
