Her low draft of 1.7m/5'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 3,785 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Unknown classification society rules.

Accommodation

Midship, accommodations consist of four owner guest staterooms accessed by a companionway and foyer. Full Details

Vessel walkthrough:.

Starting aft is a built-in transom stairway providing easy access to a six-foot swim platform. On the aft deck, a locker is conveniently designed for storage of compressor and deck gear. Forward of the aft deck seating area, an additional covered seating area with a dining table and waist doors to the port and starboard side decks, as well as a glass-paneled swinging door to the main salon. This area also features a BBQ grill and a full wet bar. The full walk-around side decks are painted with nonskid and feature a low bulwark with a varnished teak cap rail and stainless stanchions, topped by a varnished teak handrail for complete safety and comfort.

Upon entering the main salon, one will be immediately impressed by its vast space and stunning sightlines boasting uninterrupted views from the aft salon door to the forward windows of the owner's office. The area is complemented by large exterior glass windows, settees port and starboard. Forward of the sitting area lies a large central cabinet housing a 50" HD TV, dry bar, built-in refrigerator and wine cooler, and chinaware for the formal dining table. Also Forward is the dining area, complete with a custom table seating eight guests. Ahead of the dining area, a raised office/library is situated under the large multi-paneled glass windshield, offering light and visibility to the entire salon and dining area. The office/library is equipped with a desk, chair, table, and a large buffet. To starboard, an open teak staircase provides access to the pilothouse above.

The lower accommodations area houses four staterooms: two with walkaround queen-sized beds and two with double twins. The two queens have an opening/closing wall between them, which can be converted into a full-width Owner's stateroom if desired. There are three ensuite heads. All guest staterooms are equipped with generous satin-finished teak armoire-styled closets and carpeted decks.

Forward is the crew area and a fully equipped galley, which can be accessed by a companionway that can also be completely closed off from the dining area. The crew staterooms feature two mirror-imaged oversized upper and lower berths, as well as their own head and showers. The galley and crew dinette are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a TV and a washer/dryer for convenience.

The fully air-conditioned pilothouse, accessed by stairs from the salon, provides a full suite of navigation and electronics equipment. The helm console is thoughtfully arranged with three comfortable Stidd captains chairs, a spacious and functional chart table, and a communication center/office. For the captain's convenience, a day head is located to starboard, eliminating the need to leave the pilothouse while underway. Also, included in the pilothouse is a 43” TV and a captain’s office. Aft of the wheelhouse, there is an outdoor seating banquette with bench seating, a covered hardtop for shade and a 55” HD TV. To starboard is a sink/wet bar, refrigerator and freezer, along with storage boxes and storage space for the Novurania tender. The tender and its chocks can be removed for a clear open deck area providing space for lounge chairs. A stainless steel and teak ladder provides easy exterior access to the aft deck.

Starting aft is a built-in transom stairway providing easy access to a six-foot swim platform. On the aft deck, a locker is conveniently designed for storage of compressor and deck gear. Forward of the aft deck seating area, an additional covered seating area with a dining table and waist doors to the port and starboard side decks, as well as a glass-paneled swinging door to the main salon. This area also features a BBQ grill and a full wet bar. The full walk-around side decks are painted with nonskid and feature a low bulwark with a varnished teak cap rail and stainless stanchions, topped by a varnished teak handrail for complete safety and comfort.

Upon entering the main salon, one will be immediately impressed by its vast space and stunning sightlines boasting uninterrupted views from the aft salon door to the forward windows of the owner's office. The area is complemented by large exterior glass windows, settees port and starboard. Forward of the sitting area lies a large central cabinet housing a " HD TV, dry bar, built-in refrigerator and wine cooler, and chinaware for the formal dining table. Also Forward is the dining area, complete with a custom table seating eight guests. Ahead of the dining area, a raised office/library is situated under the large multi-paneled glass windshield, offering light and visibility to the entire salon and dining area. The office/library is equipped with a desk, chair, table, and a large buffet. To starboard, an open teak staircase provides access to the pilothouse above.

The lower accommodations area houses four staterooms: two with walkaround queen-sized beds and two with double twins. The two queens have an opening/closing wall between them, which can be converted into a full-width Owner's stateroom if desired. There are three ensuite heads. All guest staterooms are equipped with generous satin-finished teak armoire-styled closets and carpeted decks.

Forward is the crew area and a fully equipped galley, which can be accessed by a companionway that can also be completely closed off from the dining area. The crew staterooms feature two mirror-imaged oversized upper and lower berths, as well as their own head and showers. The galley and crew dinette are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a TV and a washer/dryer for convenience.

The fully air-conditioned pilothouse, accessed by stairs from the salon, provides a full suite of navigation and electronics equipment. The helm console is thoughtfully arranged with three comfortable Stidd captains chairs, a spacious and functional chart table, and a communication center/office. For the captain's convenience, a day head is located to starboard, eliminating the need to leave the pilothouse while underway. Also, included in the pilothouse is a ” TV and a captain’s office. Aft of the wheelhouse, there is an outdoor seating banquette with bench seating, a covered hardtop for shade and a ” HD TV. To starboard is a sink/wet bar, refrigerator and freezer, along with storage boxes and storage space for the Novurania tender. The tender and its chocks can be removed for a clear open deck area providing space for lounge chairs. A stainless steel and teak ladder provides easy exterior access to the aft deck.

Luxury yacht SEA BOLD is a custom Ray Hunt yacht built by New England Boatworks. She was delivered in 2003 and has been refit over the past few years. This included a full engine rebuild on the starboard engine to 0 hours, a full top-end rebuild on the port engine, a new exhaust system, rebuilt transmissions, and a total re-paint. SEA BOLD was built in Kevlar and carbon fiber epoxy advanced composite construction. This creates a lightweight super strong boat that can operate at high speeds in demanding seas. With a high-speed cruise of 22 knots and a top-end speed of 25 knots, she was designed with the famous Ray Hunt Deep V hull to be able to make high-speed runs to the Bahamas whenever demanded.

Superyacht SEA BOLD features a traditional New England yacht profile, which includes a beautiful air-conditioned fully enclosed flybridge/pilothouse. The owner of this yacht has kept it in pristine condition, as she has had plenty of refit money thrown into her in the past few years. She has never been chartered, as this Ray Hunt Design yacht has only been used privately.

Moving into the interior of this New England style boat, you will be greeted by an open and spacious main salon. This space offers beautiful custom woodwork, and continuous views throughout, from the aft salon door all the way to the forward windows over the owner’s office. The main deck salon included a 50” HD TV, a dry bar, and built-in refrigerator, a wine cooler, a large dining area, and a raised office/library.

The 29.26 metre New England Boatworks motor yacht Sea Bold has been listed for sale by Ralph Raulin at Worth Avenue Yachts .

Built in Kevlar/epoxy composite by US yard New England Boatworks to a design by C. Raymond Hunt , Sea Bold was delivered in 2003, specifically designed to cruise and explore the shallow waters of the Bahamas.

A rich interior by Candace Langan , with hand rubbed satin varnished teak and cream leather upholstery, accommodates eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and two twins, all with full en suite bathroom facilities.

In the main saloon, there are large exterior glass windows and comfortable built-in teak and leather settees to port and starboard. Forward of the seating area is a large central cabinet which houses a television screen, bar, refrigerator, and a china service for the formal dining table. 

The dining area is next forward with a formal table seating eight comfortably and there is a U-shaped bench seating area forward of the dining area. This forward area makes for a handy studio or office space.

On the upper deck is a well laid-out helm console with three comfortable Stidd seats, a large functional chart table and communication centre/office. Aft of the wheelhouse is an al fresco seating banquette with bench seating while to starboard is a sink and wet bar. 

Her top speed is 28 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 840 nautical miles at 22 knots with power coming from two 1,440hp Caterpillar 3412-E diesel engines.

Navy identifies Florida sailor who died while deployed in Red Sea: He embodied 'selfless character'

The U.S. Navy has identified a Florida sailor who vanished last week and died while deployed in the Red Sea.

The sailor was identified as Oriola Michael Aregbesola, 34, military officials said Saturday. Aregbesola was an aviation machinist's mate 2nd class and was stationed on the USS Mason in the Red Sea.

"Petty Officer Aregbesola fully embodied the selfless character and thoughtful warrior spirit of the United States Navy Sailor," Cmdr. Eric Kohut, HSM-74 commanding officer, said in a statement . "His outstanding performance prior to and during deployment went well beyond aircraft maintenance; he truly saw and valued every member of the ship/air team."

Aregbesola was supporting operations in the Red Sea when he went overboard on March 20, according to the U.S. Central Command . Further details were not immediately provided, but officials said search and recovery operations were carried out.

Aregbesola died as a result of a non-combat-related incident, the Department of Defense said in a statement. The incident is under investigation.

The death of Aregbesola is the latest involving U.S. service members deployed in areas in or near the Red Sea amid the Israel-Hamas war . In January, two Navy SEALs had vanished in the Arabian Sea during a nighttime boarding mission to seize an unflagged boat carrying illicit Iranian-made weapons to Yemen.

Who was Oriola Michael Aregbesola?

Aregbesola was from Miramar, Florida, and was stationed on the USS Mason deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, according to the Defense Department.

He was assigned to the "Swamp Foxes" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74, the Navy said in a statement. The USS Mason had been operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area since November.

Aregbesola joined the Navy in July 2020 and reported to HSM-74 in December 2020, according to the Navy.

“He will continue on in the heart of every Swamp Fox and our brothers and sisters in the IKE Carrier Strike Group," Kohut said. "Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with his family.”

The two Navy SEALs were declared dead about a week after military officials said they went overboard off the coast of Somalia. They were identified as Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers, 37, and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram, 27.

Chambers and Ingram served with a U.S. West Coast-based SEAL team. The two SEALs were on an interdiction mission Jan. 11 when one of them fell off a ship after high waves hit the vessel, prompting the other SEAL to go after him to attempt a rescue, according to officials.

Search and rescue operations involving ships and aircraft from the United States, Japan and Spain lasted for 10 days before the Central Command changed it to a recovery operation.

Starting aft is a built-in transom stairway providing easy access to a six-foot swim platform. On the aft deck, a locker is conveniently designed for storage of compressor and deck gear. Forward of the aft deck seating area, an additional covered seating area with a dining table and waist doors to the port and starboard side decks, as well as a glass-paneled swinging door to the main salon. This area also features a BBQ grill and a full wet bar. The full walk-around side decks are painted with nonskid and feature a low bulwark with a varnished teak cap rail and stainless stanchions, topped by a varnished teak handrail for complete safety and comfort.

Upon entering the main salon, one will be immediately impressed by its vast space and stunning sightlines boasting uninterrupted views from the aft salon door to the forward windows of the owner's office. The area is complemented by large exterior glass windows, settees port and starboard. Forward of the sitting area lies a large central cabinet housing a 50" HD TV, dry bar, built-in refrigerator and wine cooler, and chinaware for the formal dining table. Indonesia recovers three bodies after Rohingya boat capsizes off Aceh

The bodies of three Rohingya refugees have been found in the sea as the Indonesian authorities ended a search for survivors from a boat that capsized near Aceh province, the provincial search and rescue agency said.

More than 70 Rohingya were "presumed dead or missing", which if confirmed would be the biggest loss of life in such an incident so far this year, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) said on Friday.

Seventy-five people were rescued from the boat on Thursday — carrying 44 men, 22 women and nine children — after they huddled on its overturned hull throughout the night.

Fishermen first spotted three bodies at sea and reported them to local authorities on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.

Mirza Saprinadi, national head of operations at Indonesia's search and rescue agency, told the Reuters news agency that two bodies had been identified as females, adding that immigration officers had confirmed the victims as Rohingya.

Faisal Rahman, a UNHCR staff member in Aceh, said that some of the survivors also helped to identify the bodies.

"We have verified as we take one of the refugees to identify and verify that they were together on the boat," Faisal Rahman, a UNHCR staff member in Aceh, said Saturday evening.

For years Rohingya have been leaving Buddhist-majority Myanmar, where they are generally regarded as foreign interlopers from South Asia, denied citizenship and subjected to abuse.

More than 2,300 Rohingya arrived in Indonesia last year, UNHCR data showed, surpassing the number of arrivals in the previous four years combined.

The 2023 toll of at least 569 Rohingya dead or missing while trying to flee Myanmar or Bangladesh was the highest since 2014, the UNHCR said in January.

About 1 million of the predominantly Muslim Rohingya live in Bangladesh as refugees from Myanmar.

Andy Middleton heard “a sustained rumbling sound” but thought it was a low-flying plane. Only hours later Tuesday did the Dundalk resident learn it was the Key Bridge collapsing after being struck by the Dali cargo ship, whose crew members he and other volunteers had taken shopping while they were docked in Baltimore this weekend.

“I was able to reach out to the crew, and everyone was safe,” said a relieved Middleton, director of the Apostleship of the Sea. “I’m still concerned about those who were on the bridge when it collapsed and hope they’re found.”

The Catholic ministry helps crew members while their vessels are at the Port of Baltimore, respites for what can be monthslong trips at sea.

Middleton said he and other volunteers took Dali crew members to Walmart, where they wanted to stock up for a particularly long voyage ahead.

“They were going to Sri Lanka, and the captain said it was going to be a 28-day voyage ,” he said. “They were going down and around South Africa to avoid the Red Sea and the Houthis.”

In response to Israel’s bombing in Gaza, Houthi rebels in Yemen, who have been designated a terrorist group by the U.S., have been attacking ships in the Red Sea and military forces in the area.

As a result, the Dali was “taking a longer route,” Middleton said.

“We’re a friendly face when they come into the Port of Baltimore,” he said. “I’m glad we were able to provide services for them before they sailed.”

Crews that arrive here are also assisted by another group, the Baltimore International Seafarers’ Center.

Now, Middleton is gearing up for whatever the crew might need when they return to port.

“I’m sure there will be some who are shaken by it,” he said. “You never know how you’re going to react to something. No one ever thinks you’re going to set sail and hit a bridge and it’s going to collapse.”

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — Chinese coast guard ships hit a Philippine supply boat with water cannons Saturday in the latest confrontation near a disputed shoal in the South China Sea , causing injuries to its navy crew members and heavy damage to the wooden vessel, Philippine officials said.

The United States and Japan immediately expressed their support to the Philippines, as well as alarm over Chinese forces’ aggression off the Second Thomas Shoal , which has been the scene of repeated confrontations between Chinese and Philippine vessels over the past year.

The far-flung shoal has been occupied by a small contingent of Philippine navy and marines on a marooned warship since 1999, but has been surrounded by Chinese coast guard and suspected militia vessels in an increasingly tense territorial standoff . It’s the second time the Philippine boat Unaizah May 4 has been damaged by the Chinese coast guard’s water cannon assault in March alone.

The repeated high-seas confrontations have sparked fears they could degenerate into a larger conflict that could bring China and the United States into a collision.

Washington lays no claims to the busy seaway, a key global trade route, but has deployed Navy ships and fighter jets in what it calls “freedom of navigation” operations, which China has criticized .

The U.S. has also warned repeatedly that it’s obligated to defend the Philippines — its oldest treaty ally in Asia — if Filipino forces, ships or aircraft come under an armed attack, including in the South China Sea.

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement Saturday that the United States “stands with its ally the Philippines and condemns the dangerous actions by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) against lawful Philippine maritime operations in the South China Sea on March 23.”

He said the Chinese ships’ “repeated employment of water cannons and reckless blocking maneuvers resulted in injuries to Filipino service members and significant damage to their resupply vessel, rendering it immobile.”

Escorted by two Philippine coast guard ships, the Unaizah May 4 was en route to deliver supplies and a fresh batch of Filipino sailors to the territorial outpost in the shoal at dawn Saturday when they were blocked and surrounded by Chinese coast guard ships and suspected militia vessels.

“Their reckless and dangerous actions culminated with the water cannoning of Unaizah May 4, causing severe damage to the vessel and injuries to Filipinos onboard,” a Philippine government task force dealing with the territorial conflicts said without elaborating.

The two Philippine coast guard patrol ships maneuvered through the Chinese blockade to treat the injured Filipino crew members and tow the disabled supply boat away. Another motorboat managed to transport the new batch of Filipino sailors and supplies to the Philippine outpost in the shallows of the shoal despite the Chinese coast guard’s attempt to block them by placing a floating barrier in the waters, Philippine officials said.

The hostilities dragged on for about 8 hours, they said.

“The Philippines will not be deterred — by veiled threats or hostility — from exercising our legal rights over our maritime zones,” the government task force said in a statement. “We demand that China demonstrate in deeds and not in words that it is a responsible and trustworthy member of the international community.”

Chinese coast guard spokesperson Gan Yu said the Philippine vessels intruded into what he said was China’s territorial waters despite repeated warnings. “The China coast guard implemented lawful regulation, interception and expulsion in a reasonable and professional manner,” Gan said.

Washington’s ambassador to Manila, MaryKay Carlson, said that “the U.S. stands with the Philippines against the PRC’s repeated dangerous maneuvers and water cannons to disrupt” the Philippine coast guard’s “lawful activities” in Manila’s exclusive economic zone.

Japan’s ambassador-designate to Manila, Endo Kazuya, reiterated his country’s “grave concern on the repeated dangerous actions by the Chinese coast guard in the South China Sea, which resulted in Filipino injuries.”

Aside from China and the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei also have overlapping claims in the resource-rich and busy waterway, which Beijing continues to claim virtually in its entirety despite a 2016 international arbitration ruling that invalidated its expansive claims on historical grounds.

Chinese coast guard previously blasted the Unaizah May 4 with high-pressure water cannons in a confrontation near the Second Thomas Shoal on March 5, shattering its windshield and slightly injuring a Filipino admiral and four of his men with glass shards and splinters of debris.

The Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila summoned China’s deputy ambassador after the March 5 confrontation to convey a protest against the Chinese coast guard’s actions, which it said were unacceptable.
