"Amura and her crew were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for in our sailing. Truly 5 star from our arrival to our departure. The day could not have been any better executed for parents and for kids… and THAT is a hard feat! First of all- no surprises, the boat is actually as amazing as it looks!! So many listings seem great but on arrival are not the case. Not here!!! The boat is in pristine condition with various areas to gather The Crew- what can we say… the kindness, patience, humor, knowledge… all of it!! They kept our champagne glasses and surf and turf plates full!! The food was top notch, from fruit, to charcuterie to our meal and dessert. Delicious!! Rebecca even helped to accommodate some dietary needs... so grateful The Day- captain Max lead us on an adventure to see the best and most beautiful parts of the Bahamas. All in all, you cannot go wrong with Amura… from the boat to the crew this is a 5 start experience from start to finish. "

The Renter can not invoke 'bad weather' and request a refund as reason for cancellation unless the Captain or the Boat Owner agrees to it. For captained charter, the Captain will make the decision if the weather conditions are dangerous to get out on the water. Cloudy skies or a slight chance of rain are not grounds for cancellation or rescheduling. If the Renter sends such a request, the email must include a written confirmation from the Boat Owner. Read more details here .

Nassau Catamaran Sailing and Snorkeling Tour

There's something special about the serenity of a Sail and Snorkel Cruise across the blue waters of the Bahamas. With the whisper of the waves on the hull and the gentle warm ocean breezes across the bow, you will soon feel your cares slipping away on Nassau tours like this.

Board your waiting catamaran and set out on an adventure to one of the most beautiful reefs near Nassau. The boat features a spacious deck area, shaded as well as open to the warm Bahamian sun, so there is a place for everyone attending this Nassau catamaran tour. The boat also has two bathrooms on board. As you sail to the reef, your crew will pass out the included snorkeling gear and give instruction on snorkeling.

Depending on the sea and weather conditions that day, your captain will set a course to a location where you will have the best Nassau snorkeling experience. Upon arrival at the snorkeling spot, your crew will join you in the water to answer any questions or concerns you might have about snorkeling before you explore the wonderful underwater world of coral and marine life. Snorkeling is from the boat in water that will be over your head. Flotation vests are required while in the water and come in large and small sizes. You'll need to provide your own vests for small children and infants. Time at the reef is approximately 60 minutes. As water temperature is usually 75-80 degrees in the winter and warmer in the summer months, wetsuits are not required or provided.

After your time in the water, climb back on board via the snorkeler friendly "Stairway to the Sea," and feel the wind in your hair as your catamaran makes the approximate one-hour sail towards home. There is a one hour open bar for the ride back to the marina so enjoy a nice cocktail! The boat returns to Paradise Island and you will disembark near the Atlantis Resort. Guests are responsible for their own transportation back to the cruise pier at their own expense (not included).

Please Note: It is the captain's intention to use the sails as often as possible. If for any reason the captain feels the use of sails is not safe or conducive to a prompt return, whether it is related to weather, mechanical, or any other unforeseen situation, they will use the motor.

Welcome to the beautiful Bahamas, a tropical paradise known for its pristine waters and breathtaking scenery. If you're looking for a unique way to explore this stunning archipelago, why not consider renting a catamaran?

Sailing in the Bahamas is a truly magical experience, and catamarans are the perfect vessels for exploring the many islands and cays. With their shallow draft, catamarans can access remote anchorages and quiet bays that are off-limits to larger boats. Plus, the stable platform of a catamaran makes it easy to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery as you cruise through the crystal-clear waters.

With a catamaran charter, you have the freedom to explore the islands at your own pace and on your schedule. You can anchor in a new location every night or spend several days in one place, depending on your preferences. This flexibility allows you to get the most out of your sailing trip and create an itinerary that suits your interests and travel style.

Browse available catamarans available in the Bahamas for rent on Click&Boat! Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a first-time boater, a catamaran rental in the Bahamas will surely be an unforgettable experience. Are you ready to discover all that the Bahamas has to offer by catamaran?

Rent a catamaran with or without a skipper

When it comes to renting a catamaran in the Bahamas, you have the option of renting with or without a captain. Both options have their advantages, depending on your sailing experience and preferences.

Renting a crewed catamaran with a captain is a great option if you're new to sailing or if you want to sit back and relax while someone else does the navigating. A captain can offer valuable insights into the best places to sail, the local culture, and the history of the islands. Renting with a captain is also a great option if you want to learn how to sail and improve your skills, as many captains are happy to teach you the basics.

On the other hand, a bareboat charter can be an excellent choice if you're an experienced sailor or if you want to have complete freedom and control over your itinerary. You can explore the islands at your own pace, anchor in secluded coves, and create a customized itinerary that suits your interests and preferences.

Find the ideal catamaran for your next sailing trip

Catamarans are designed for socializing, with spacious decks and comfortable living areas that are perfect for spending time together. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a fun-filled adventure with friends, renting a catamaran in the Bahamas is an unforgettable experience that you'll cherish for years to come.

Click&Boat offers a complete fleet of catamarans available for rent in the Bahamas, from sailing catamarans to catamaran yachts. With the ability to host groups of 12 people or more, we can help you find the perfect catamaran for your charter vacation in the Bahamas, no matter the occasion.

How much does it cost to charter a catamaran in the Bahamas?

On the other end of the spectrum, luxury catamarans with high-end amenities can cost as much as $4,500 per day or more. These high-end vessels may include a crew, gourmet meals, water toys, and other luxurious features.

There are few things in life as magical as a sailing vacation in the Bahamas. The turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and stunning sunsets are truly breathtaking. And what could be more relaxing than spending your days cruising around on a beautiful catamaran?

If you're thinking about renting a boat in the Bahamas, here are a few things you should know. Firstly, the Bahamas is an archipelago of over 700 islands, so there are plenty of territories to explore. And with average temperatures hovering around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, it's a great destination year-round.

One of the best things about chartering a boat in the Bahamas is that you can tailor your trip to your own preferences. Whether you want to spend your days fishing, swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the deck with a good book, you can do it all at your own pace. There are also many opportunities for adventure, like exploring uninhabited islands or venturing into caves.

If you're looking for a truly unique and memorable vacation, chartering a catamaran in the Bahamas is a great option. You'll create lifetime memories and have an experience you'll never forget.

Where to sail in the Bahamas?

There is no better way to spend your vacation than sailing around the beautiful islands of the Bahamas on a catamaran. The turquoise waters and white sand beaches are calling your name!

Here are some of the best places to sail with a catamaran in the Bahamas:

  • The Exumas - This chain of islands is known for its stunning beaches, coves, and crystal-clear waters. It's the perfect place to anchor your catamaran and enjoy some time swimming, sunbathing, and exploring.
  • Eleuthera - This island is home to some of the most beautiful pink sand beaches in the world. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views.
  • Cat Island - This island is named after its abundance of cats (of course!). It's a great place to sail if you're looking for peace and quiet, as it's one of the lesser-known islands in the Bahamas.
  • Nassau - The capital city of the Bahamas, Nassau is a vibrant and lively place to sail. There's plenty to see and do, from exploring the markets to enjoying the nightlife.
  • Abaco Islands - The Abaco Islands are a popular sailing destination for their sheltered coves and outstanding sailing conditions. They're also home to some of the best bonefishing in the world!

How much does it cost to rent a catamaran in the Bahamas?

There's nothing quite like a Bahamas vacation. The bright blue waters, the white sand beaches, and the endless sunshine make it a perfect destination for a boat charter. And with so many options available, it's easy to find a catamaran that fits your budget.

Of course, there are a few factors that will affect the price of your rental. The size of the boat, the length of your stay, and the number of people in your party all play a role in determining the cost. On average, a rental in the Bahamas costs approximately $1,490 per day or $10,430 per week, accommodating an average of 10 guests aboard the boat. With careful planning and an understanding of what you want, it's possible to find a catamaran rental that won't break the bank.

The harbors in the Bahamas

The Bahamas offer some of the most beautiful cruising grounds in the Caribbean, and a catamaran charter is a perfect way to explore them. From bustling harbors and marinas to remote coves and bays, there is something for everyone when chartering a catamaran in the Bahamas.

  • Marsh Harbour : Located in the Abacos, Marsh Harbour is one of the most popular ports of call for a catamaran charter in the Bahamas. Home to many local restaurants, bars, and shops, this vibrant harbor has plenty to keep you busy while you’re here. With its deep waters and sheltered bays, it’s also an ideal spot for sailing, fishing, or simply relaxing.
  • Nassau : Nassau is one of the most famous cruise ports in the Caribbean. It’s home to many luxury resorts and casinos, as well as several excellent marinas that can accommodate your catamaran charter. The main marina located here is Nassau Yacht Haven Marina which offers slips with electricity and water hookups as well as all kinds of amenities like shops, restaurants, bars, and more.
  • Freeport : Freeport on Grand Bahama Island is another must-see port of call on your catamaran charter adventure in the Bahamas. With its palm-lined beaches, crystal clear waters, and vibrant culture, it makes for an unforgettable experience. Moody's Marina provides great facilities for both short-term visits and long-term stays with full-service amenities including laundry services and fuel docks.
  • Andros Town : Andros Town on Andros Island is a hidden gem within the Bahamas archipelago that should not be missed during your catamaran charter vacation here. Here you will find some of the best fishing spots in all of the Caribbean, along with spectacular coral gardens just offshore that you can explore by kayak or paddleboard from your boat. Andros Town Marina provides slips with electricity hookups as well as access to all kinds of supplies including fuel and food items.

No matter where you choose to dock during your catamaran charter vacation in the Bahamas, you will be sure to have a remarkable time! Whether it’s exploring bustling harbors or discovering secluded coves, there are so many wonderful places to visit when sailing around these beautiful islands!

Renting a catamaran with or without a skipper

Renting a boat in the Bahamas can be a wonderful experience, and it can be done with or without a skipper. Depending on your needs, one option may be more suitable than the other. To make sure you make the right decision, let’s look at the benefits of both options.

If you choose to rent with a skipper, you will be able to enjoy some of the best sailing spots in the Bahamas without having to worry about navigation and safety. A qualified and experienced captain will oversee operating the vessel while you simply relax and take in all that this stunning area has to offer. You can also enjoy all sorts of water sports like snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking which wouldn’t be possible without a skipper on board.

On the other hand, if you opt for a bareboat charter, you will have full control over your trip and there is no need for a skipper. This allows for more freedom when it comes to planning and scheduling activities, as well as destinations. You will also get to experience sailing yourself as you navigate around the islands. Plus, it is often more affordable compared to renting with a skipper due to lower costs associated with operating the boat.

Whether you decide to rent with or without a skipper in the Bahamas, both options have their own unique advantages that can help make your trip unforgettable. Just remember to choose what works best for you based on your skill level and budget!

When is the best time to go?

Exploring the Bahamas is a dream come true for many, and sailing is one of the best ways to do it. But what is the best time to go? The answer depends on your specific needs, but if you’re looking for the ideal time to sail in the Bahamas, then late spring or early fall is your best bet.

From late April through May and again from September through October, temperatures are mild, ranging from 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 65–75 degrees Fahrenheit at night. Rainfall is also low at this time of year, making for calm seas and good sailing conditions. Plus, wind speeds tend to be steady and consistent throughout these months — perfect for experienced sailors who want an enjoyable cruise.
