The TRIPLE SEVEN yacht is an envy-inducing yacht built by Nobiskrug , an internationally renowned superyacht shipyard specializing in custom-made superyachts.

According to the project manager, the team placed parts made from composite materials onto a steel substructure and the result saved time and weight. 

She became a winner of the 2007 International Superyacht Society Awards in the Best Power 43m+ category with her innovative design.

Her name means lucky in Germany as well as in other cultures, and indeed, she has brought luck to NOBISKRUG, the German designer and the client.

Being an active yacht, she is a proven world cruising superyacht that has explored the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific regions. 

TRIPLE SEVEN yacht interior

Her minimalistic interior was penned by Newcruise and exuded a luxury vibe. As her name implies, the interior features many details inspired by the number 7, most precisely 777.

She also has seven bullet-proof forward-facing windows on the main deck with a unique shape that makes them appear almost like giant sevens.

Apart from this, the number seven can be found etched subtly on the floating spiral staircase in the yacht’s center.

The triple seven on her hull makes TRIPLE SEVEN a head-turner, which is thought to bring great success and satisfaction to its owner.

Her design was incorporated with design features from Formula 1 racing cars and added with distinctive forward tilting air ducts.

She has an open sun deck that hosts a retractable gazebo with tables for alfresco dining. Equipped with a large circular sun pad that tops the coachroof and is convertible into a helipad, guests have no problem traveling and enjoying the cruise.

She also boasts a fashionable beach club, a teak space equipped with a gym, lounging area, and a bar.

Specifications

TRIPLE SEVEN is built with a steel hull and steel / GRP superstructure. She measures 68 meters in length and has a 12-meter beam and 3.6-meter draft.

Thanks to her full-displacement hull, she is more stable when at anchor and is powered by twin MTU engines .

Her cruising speed is at 14 knots, while her maximum speed can reach up to 17 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 190,000-liter fuel tanks. 

She is also equipped with an advanced stabilization system on board that helps minimize the side-to-side roll of the yacht for an exceptional comfort level.

Accommodation

The TRIPLE SEVEN yacht can accommodate ten guests across five stylish cabins. Her main suite has a hidden security closet and a “his and hers” dressing area that is connected by an immense bath carved from Portuguese marble.

Other standout features include a full night-club set-up, state-of-the-art cinema in the sky lounge, steam room, and bar.

Additionally, she offers an incredible selection of water toys and accessories such as a waterslide, Jet Skis, WaveRunner, waterskis, a Kite Surfer, scuba diving equipment, wakeboards, and much more.

68m Nobiskrug Triple Seven to undergo refit at Amels

The 68 metre Nobiskrug motor yacht Triple Seven is set to undergo a six-month refit at the Amels and Damen Yachting facilities in Vlissingen.

The yacht will receive a full respray, modifications to the stabilisers, shaft lines and galley, and a number of “general interior works” as part of her 15-year survey.

Triple Seven came under new ownership in August 2020 and is now managed by Moran Yacht & Ship , who will work closely with the yard on the refit.

Custom built in 2006 with the build number 777, Triple Seven was designed inside out by Newcruise . The yacht’s last refit came in 2014 and it has a number of standout features, including a sky lounge cinema and nightclub which has its own DJ station, lasers and smoke machines.

The 1,393GT interior of Triple Seven provides accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins comprising three doubles and two twins, while a crew accommodation is for 18.

Triple Seven is powered by twin 2,360hp MTU engines for a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.

Speaking about the refit, Michael Coens, refit sales manager at Damen Yachting, said: “We are honoured to be trusted with refit and are delighted to be able to welcome her into the Amels family.”

Coens added: “We look forward to working together with the team at Moran Yacht & Ship throughout the refit and giving the yacht a new lease of life.”

Motor yacht Triple Seven is the first collaboration between her commissioning company Kristal Waters, Nobiskrug and her design team who have gone on to build her larger sister ship Siren. Her unusual name originates from her shipyard build number 777, a lucky combination in her native Germany foretelling great success and satisfaction.

Triple Seven (777) is a complete custom yacht built for owners based in London and the Côte d’Azur who began their yachting ownership with open sports boats only to move to owning two custom motor yachts. With a bulbous bow and narrow entry, Triple Seven is manages to achieve both efficiency and attractive aesthetics.

The tri-deck luxury superyacht was built on a briefing specifying lengthy, elegant lines and interior spaces that flow seamlessly from generous outside areas that are almost rooms of their own. The interior was based on a portfolio of owner’s sketches, collected from his favourite viewings at a variety of boat shows.

Further drawing on the name Triple Seven, the interior design of the superyacht features many details formed around the numeral. Particularly of note are the seven bullet-proof forward-facing windows on the main deck whose unique shaping makes them appear almost as giant sevens while also allowing huge amounts of light into the owner’s suite.

The owner’s suite is highly innovative and includes a separate office/library with a hidden fold-out bed that allows it to turn into an extra cabin when needed. The suite also hosts a hidden security closet, and his and hers dressing areas that are connected by an immense bath carved from Portuguese marble.

Etched sevens can also be found subtly adorning a floating spiral staircase in the yacht’s centre.

Spaces are large and airy within the super yacht’s interior. The main salon is one unbroken space that extends from the foyer to the aft deck where a large circular bar occupies most of the aft end of the main deck. The bar features a glass wall behind that drops down to allow service to both the salon and the aft deck and creates a space occupying almost one-third of the yacht. Divided into six usage areas, this space encompasses the bar, a formal seating area, outdoor cinema, open sun-pad lounge, a dining area and a casual lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The sun deck is completely open except for a dayhead and emergency generator room and hosts a retractable gazebo with tables for alfresco dining. Its most spectacular feature is found forward, a large circular sun pad that tops the coachroof and is convertible into a helipad with a certified 18-ton crash load. Aft brings a large Jacuzzi surrounded by more sun pads. Located mere steps from the water and astern of her tender garages is a fashionable beach club; a teak space equipped with a gym, lounging area and bar.

Featuring a dedicated crew, Triple Seven is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations. The yacht cruises comfortably at 15 knots while her crew of 17 ensure the needs of every guest are met.

The luxury motor yacht is equipped with an armada of water toys to provide endless entertainment during any yacht charter. Onboard water toys include two tenders, Jet Skis, water skis, kayaks and a range of scuba equipment.

The luxury motor yacht won the award for “Best Power 43m+” at the 17th International Superyacht Society (ISS) awards for design, leadership and distinguished crew 2007 at Fort Lauderdale.

…to be built completely under NOBISKRUG’s own team . The construction engineers ensured that the yacht could cruise smoothly and stably.

They laid out…

…the 12-meter-wide-frigate-like hull to an optimum, thus reducing water resistance and as a consequence, fuel consumption.

The client’s wish…

…to include design features from Formula 1 racing cars was taken into account with the distinctive forward tilting air ducts.

NOBISKRUG managed to create many innovations…

…during TRIPLE SEVEN’s construction. Whereas other yacht manufacturers use expensive aluminium for the superstructure including outer skins, NOBISKRUG used a highly efficient alternative for TRIPLE SEVEN instead.

Even though the yacht was built from steel,…

…beneficial for strength and rigidity, the rounded outer surfaces and ventilation outlets were moulded parts made from composite materials and fixed onto the steel sub-structure. That saved weight and time during construction and eases up maintenance while the yacht is in use.

Another innovation is the seven floor-length windows…

…on both sides of the owner’s suite onboard TRIPLE SEVEN yacht. They are slightly tilted towards the direction of travel. A small bend in the upper part of the glass lets in daylight from the side and obliquely from above. A sophisticated steel construction was necessary to fit these windows.

The firm of naval architecture which delivered this yacht's plans and general arrangement on this ship was Newcruise and Frank Neubelt. Her interior styling was the work of Newcruise / Kathy Razcek.

TRIPLE SEVEN was named after her build name 777 which is considered to be a lucky number combination in Germany.

Build & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht TRIPLE SEVEN

Newcruise was the naval architect firm involved in the technical vessel design work for TRIPLE SEVEN. Her interior design was realised by Newcruise / Kathy Razcek. Newcruise and Frank Neubelt is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. Created at Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems Ag the yacht was fabricated in the country of Germany. She was officially launched in Rendsburg in 2006 before being handed over to the owner. A fairly large area is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 12 metres or 39.37 ft. With a 3.55m (11.65ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created with the use of steel. In 2007 further refitting and updating was in addition finished.

Powered by two MTU diesel engines, TRIPLE SEVEN will reach a top speed of 17 knots. For propulsion TRIPLE SEVEN has twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 5000 miles when motoring at her cruising speed of 15 knots. Her total HP is 4720 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3520.

It is a sleek modern motor yacht with sleek lines, luxurious interiors and cool spaces on the open deck.

The luxurious floating palace ‘Triple Seven’, has been seen passing through Southend-on-Sea and sailing down the River Thames in London.

It was built by the German shipyard Nobiskrug in 2006, and underwent a major renovation in recent years. Built with a steel hull, the ship has a large entertainment area, with a gym, lounge and bar.

In its 68 meters in length, it has a capacity for 12 guests and up to 17 crew members. Her cruising speed is 15 knots, with a top speed of 17 knots. Its range is 4,500nm from its 190,000-liter fuel tanks.

Russian billionaire Alexander Abramov has owned the superyacht since 2013.

Abramov is president of the Evraz steel company, which is currently worth an estimated $ 7.8 billion.

This yacht was the winner of the 2007 awards of the International Society of Superyachts in the category Best Power + 43m.

Title: seven new triply eclipsing triple star systems.

Abstract: We have identified nearly a hundred close triply eclipsing hierarchical triple star systems from data taken with the space telescope TESS. These systems are noteworthy in that we can potentially determine their dynamical and astrophysical parameters with a high precision. In the present paper, we report the comprehensive study of seven new compact triply eclipsing triple star systems taken from this larger sample: TICs 133771812, 176713425, 185615681, 287756035, 321978218, 323486857, and 650024463. Most of the data for this study come from TESS observations, but two of them have Gaia measurements of their outer orbits, and we obtained supplemental radial velocity (RV) measurements for three of the systems. The eclipse timing variation curves extracted from the TESS data, the photometric light curves, the RV points, and the spectral energy distribution (SED) are combined in a complex photodynamical analysis to yield the stellar and orbital parameters of all seven systems. Four of the systems are quite compact with outer periods in the range of 41-56 days. All of the systems are substantially flat, with mutual inclination angles of < ~2 degrees. Including the systems reported in this work, we have now studied in considerable detail some 30 triply eclipsing triples with TESS, and are accumulating a meaningful census of these systems.
