She accommodates 22 guests in 6 Double, 2 Twin, 2 Triple Cabins, Each has a private shower and toilet. All yachts, including cabins, are air-conditioned.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining area, and an air-conditioned lounge. There is a TV, DVD and music system in the saloon. There is also a large sun deck with enough sunbathing mats for all.

Holiday 10 Gulet not only offers high-quality layout and furnishings but also offers luxury service with a highly professional 5 crew including an experienced. That crew consists of the captain, chef, deckhand as well as service personnel. They have accommodation separate from the passengers. The crew is committed to all your needs such as organizing daily activities in the boat, cleaning, general service, meals and drinks, and security. She accommodates 22 guests in 6 Double, 2 Twin, 2 Triple Cabins, Each has a private shower and toilet. All gulet, including cabins, are air-conditioned.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, an indoor and outdoor dining area, and an air-conditioned lounge. There is a TV, DVD and music system in the saloon. There is also a large sun deck with enough sunbathing mats for all. There are also ringo, canoe and water ski on the gulet

how does charter Agreement work ? Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the gulet’s central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

Payment Options We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance including food monies, is payable 5 weeks before departure by bank transfer or alternatively the full amount may be paid in cash on arrival.

The foredeck of Turkish gullet Holiday X is one level with comfortable cushions and seats and one dining area, while sunbeds are arranged on the saloon top. The neat and trim cabins are a practical arrangement of doubles and twins, all with their own bathrooms, and air-conditioning.

The Luxury Gulet Holiday 10 is one of the traditional wooden gulets built in Fethiye.

Gulet Holiday 10, she is 39 meters long and able to accommodate up to 22 guests in 10 cabins ( 6 Double + 2 Twin + 2 Triple ) for a comfortable holiday with your family or friends. Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC.

Our guests who prefer Gulet Holiday 10 can enjoy sunbathing on sun mattresses as well as multiple areas of cushioned seating across the yacht. She has two dining areas - indoor and outdoor - where you may have your meals.

Snorkeling in the beautiful coves and exploring the clear turquoise blue waters will make your feelings delightful.

She is equipped with TV & Music system, internet and board games.

Our boat, which has 10 cabins, has a capacity of 22 people. The air-conditioned cabins and the huge decks will seduce you. Ideal for large groups, there are 2 dining tables on the aft deck of the gulet. Everyone can dine and sunbathe at the same time on the front deck. There is also a dining table on the foredeck. The spacious and stylish cabins always offer you a great holiday opportunity.

We just wanted to thank you Albatross for an amazing cruise on Holiday 10 . We were a group of students from Istanbul. We went for the Fethiye-Kekove-Fethiye week itinerary . We had a great time . Visited beautiful places such as Oludeniz -Butterfly Valley – Kas -Sunken city and many bays around .

We could choose to relax or do water sports as well . Chef is also great on board. Captain always made sure we had everything what we needed.

This is a very relaxed Sail through the Turkish Riviera. There were 3 Topdeck boats run by Alaturka Sailing. There are no guides on board the boats, but we were lucky as our crew spoke English. The 3 boats were split up via age groups. This was good as most of the people on your boat had similar expectations and want to party. There are opportunities for the boats to mix only a couple of times - on a night out in the town of Kas and at Smugglers Cove. Other than that you aren't allowed to go on other boats. Each day on the boat is quite similar. Wake up, swim, breakfast, swim, lunch, swim, afternoon tea, swim, dinner, swim, happy hour and drinks to follow. It is a very relaxing trip, people read and listen to music during the day. All food is provided; it was plentiful and amazing. Each breakfast is a standard turkish breakfast, lunch is always vegetarian and dinner is either fish/chicken/beef. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Everyone on our boat had a great time, we all got along well and no one wanted to leave the boat.

Rhode Island law enforcement report 61 DUI arrests over the holiday weekend

(WJAR) — Rhode Island law enforcement made 61 DUI arrests during the holiday weekend.

The Rhode Island DUI Task Force reported 37 arrests were made in all municipalities over the St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Meanwhile the Rhode Island State Police Department reported arresting making 24 arrests.

In addition to the arrests, troopers responded to 17 crashes and issued 165 citations for various violations.

Each year, millions of Muslims begin fasting from sunrise to sunset and engage in activities that challenge their self-restraint and bring them closer to God.

This year, Ramadan began on the night of Sunday, March 10, with fasting starting the next morning on Monday. The holiday is celebrated on different dates each year. Every year, the holiday starts approximately 11 days before it did the previous year. The exact date always depends on the sighting of the crescent moon.

What is Ramadan?

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic or  Hijri , calendar. Muslims believe that it was during this month that God revealed the Quran to Prophet Muhammad.

Fasting can last for 29 or 30 days depending on when the moon signifying the start of the next month is spotted.

This year, it's predicted that Ramadan will end on April 9, with the following day being the first day of Eid Al-Fitr. However, like the start of Ramadan, the end of the month is also contingent on the sighting of the moon.

When is Eid Al-Fitr 2024? What is it?

With the predicted end of Ramadan on April 9, the following day would mark the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

Muslims end the month of Ramadan with the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, one of the two celebratory holidays in the Islamic faith. Eid Al-Fitr is a time when Muslims come together in prayer, and also celebrate completing Ramadan.

Traditions vary across the world, but it's not uncommon for families to buy new clothes, get dressed up, gather together, and give presents or money to each other.

"It's a festive holiday to look forward to," Imam Ebad Rahman, Religious Life Associate for Muslim Life at Columbia University, told USA TODAY.

What is Pi Day? Things to know about the holiday celebrating an iconic mathematical symbol

Thursday marks National Pi Day in the United States and around the world. The holiday commemorates a timeless symbol beloved by many in mathematical and scientific communities, while making the most of the opportunities it allows for humorous wordplay, dessert and "teachable moments," as some experts have said .

What is pi?

Pi is a special number — so special, in fact, that most laypeople are probably aware of it, even if only as a relic of bygone classroom lectures or geometry textbooks. Represented in abbreviated form by the somewhat familiar sequence 3.14, pi, or the Greek letter π, is an iconic symbol seen in mathematical equations and, in more recent decades, merchandise like T-shirts, sweatshirts and coffee mugs.

It's actually a ratio, denoting the relationship between the circumference and the diameter of a circle. If the outline of a circle is traced, unwound and then measured, the length is called its circumference. The length of a line drawn straight through the center of a circle and extending out to its edges is called the diameter. Dividing the circumference by the diameter of any and all circles will yield the same result: pi — and that's true for all circles, regardless of size.

Pi is a constant or "universal" number, which is a value that does not change no matter its circumstances. That means π is always equal to 3.14, more or less. After those three famous digits comes an endless "irrational" sequence without permanent patterns or repeating sections. Even though the sequence continues indefinitely, pi enthusiasts have made hobbies out of memorizing and reciting as many decimal places as possible. The Guinness World Record is 70,000 .

Why is pi important?

The ratio is beloved by math and science enthusiasts for a reason: Pi serves critical functions in many of the most basic and the most complex equations. It's necessary to calculate the area and the volume of everything circular and spherical, and it allows humans to measure the sizes of tiny things, like molecules, in a similar way it allows them to estimate the sizes of massive things, like Earth, the moon, other planets and the sun. Pi helps NASA engineers build spacecraft  just as it helps scientists study newly discovered worlds. It's also fundamentally related to gravity .

Manil Suri, a mathematics and statistics professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, said pi helps people understand more about the world, the universe and how they work .

"It's quite amazing that there is such a constant that is true for all circles. That's what really gets me. Draw any circle and the circumference divided by the diameter will always be the same number. It's a little chilling in a way," said Suri. "I think, symbolically it just shows that there are certain laws that the universe follows, and these are mathematical, and for me as a mathematician, that's key. Whether we measure measure it in meters or feet or whatever, whether we exist or not, this number will always be the same. That's the kind of amazing thing."

Pi comes up frequently and often unexpectedly in the answers to "thousands and thousands of different math problems," said Daniel Ullman, a mathematics professor at George Washington University who also called pi "an amazing curiosity."

"My preferred take is not to ask the question, 'Why is pi important?' Because I can try to explain why the number six is important, but it's just another number. Pi is just the name of a particular spot on the number line," Ullman said.

"The question really is, 'Isn't it amazing that this number arises in millions of different settings that seem to have nothing to do with each other?'" he said. "You ask a reasonable question, and the answer turns out to be something with a pi in it. It's the surprising appearance of this same number over and over and over again that makes it interesting."

What is Pi Day?

Pi Day is celebrated annually on March 14, since the date written numerically corresponds with the first three digits of π. (Pi Day was particularly momentous in 2015, when the numerical date corresponded with π up to five digits: 3.1415.) It is also coincidentally the birthday of Albert Einstein.

People and civilizations have known about pi for thousands of years, with evidence indicating an approximated measurement was used by the ancient Babylonians and ancient Egyptians. The first calculation of pi was done by Archimedes, a legendary mathematician of the ancient world, in the centuries leading up to the common era.

But the holiday did not come to be until 1988. It was founded by physicist Larry Shaw, who at the time was on staff at the Exploratorium , a science museum in San Francisco. It began at an Exploratorium staff retreat in Monterey, California, which Shaw and his colleagues took to mark three years since the death of Robert Oppenheimer , who founded the Exploratorium. Shaw drew the connection between 3.14 and March 14 during that retreat, and the first informal Pi Day was celebrated that same year at the museum to honor Oppenheimer's memory .

Pi Day became a nationally recognized in the U.S. decades later, thanks to a binding resolution passed by the House of Representatives on March 12, 2009, designating March 14 as National Pi Day.

How to celebrate Pi Day

As an official Pi Day website suggests, eating pie, baking pie and perhaps observing the mathematical principles of pi using a pie are some thematic activities to enjoy. Pizza pies and dessert pies are both appropriate variations. A play on traditional "pie contests," pi contests are common on Pi Day and often involve competitions to recite as many digits of π as possible from memory.

But there are no right or wrong ways to celebrate Pi Day. For people around the world excited by the mathematical significance of pi and the broad potential for honorary puns related to it, there are plenty of ways to pay homage. The same goes for educators and students, although math and science experts do generally recommend using Pi Day festivities as opportunities to make learning more fun. The Children's Museum of Houston, for example, will ring in the holiday with its 14th annual pie fight , inviting kids to throw pies made of shaving cream at one another in a cordoned-off section of the street outside.

Math fans acknowledge that typical Pi Day celebrations have little to do with the mathematical constant. Suri would still encourage educators to take full advantage of the fun holiday, though, and always bring pie to class when teaching on Pi Day.

"Any time I have a lecture on Pi Day, that's the way to go," he said. "And I'd recommend it for all professors. Get a pie. People will love it. They'll listen to your lectures with much more attention."

An Ohio woman whose toddler died after she left her at home to go on a 10-day vacation last summer has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Kristel Candelario, 32, pleaded guilty last month to the aggravated murder of her daughter, 16-month-old Jailyn. Prosecutors said she left the toddler alone in a playpen in their Cleveland home in June while she traveled to Detroit and Puerto Rico.

When she returned from her trip, she found Jailyn unresponsive and called police, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office . She changed her child’s clothes before emergency responders arrived and pronounced her dead shortly thereafter.

The toddler was “extremely dehydrated” at the time of her death, prosecutors said , and medical examiners determined that she had died of starvation and dehydration. She weighed 13 pounds — about seven pounds less than what was recorded at her last doctor’s visit about two months prior, Elizabeth Mooney, the deputy Cuyahoga County medical examiner, told the court Monday.

County Common Pleas Court Judge Brendan Sheehan said the toddler’s death “wasn’t simply an oversight” and told Candelario she had several opportunities to intervene and save her daughter’s life.

“You committed the ultimate act of betrayal, leaving your baby terrified, alone, unprotected, to suffer what I’ve heard was the most gruesome death imaginable, with no food, no water, no protection,” he said. He also accused Candelario of having showed “no remorse.”

In court Monday, he compared Candelario’s life sentence to the confinement her daughter must have suffered before her death.

“The only difference will be that prison will at least feed you and give you liquids that you denied her,” he said.

Candelario also has an older daughter. It’s unclear where she was at the time of her mother’s vacation in June.

Her attorney, Derek Smith, did not immediately respond to a request comment. At her sentencing, he said Candelario had suffered from depression and mental health issues, although she was ruled fit to stand trial .

“There’s no justification for her actions,” Smith said, calling it the “absolutely worst parenting imaginable.” He insinuated that treatment she received for mental and physical problems before June had been insufficient.

Candelario addressed the judge and the court Monday, saying that Jailyn’s death has caused her “so much pain” and that she hopes her parents and daughter will forgive her.

“I am not trying to justify my actions, but nobody knew how much I was suffering and what I was going through,” she said, through a Spanish interpreter.

The most coveted spots to spend a weekend away have been unveiled, with stunning homes in almost every state.

The hottest Australian Holiday Homes of the Year have been revealed and includes waterfront homes, wine region stays, ski and countryside escapes.

The top ten list includes accommodation at the Hamilton Island, Mount Buller, Margaret River and Kangaroo Valley.

Three of the ten homes are located in NSW.

In total they boast six pools, five firepits, three spas, one tennis court, as well as luxe amenities like a wine cellar, video arcade, sauna and an outdoor bath.

The homes are selected from over 50,000 properties on Stayz, and must have a 4.5 or higher star rating, positive guest reviews and standout amenities.
