White Cloud Superyacht by Feadship on Sale for $23,9 million

Feadship’s 67.3m Superyacht White Cloud is currently listed for a whopping $23.9 million. This luxury and elegant vessel was built in 1983 by Feadship in Kaag (Netherlands) with styling by Jon Bannenberg, for  Dutch millionaire Bram van Leeuwen, also known as Prince de Lignac.  Apparently the prince used to live on this superyacht for several years, when its name was still New Horizon L.

In 2005, White Cloud had undergone and extension from an original 60m, up to the length it boasts now. Its interior was re-decorated and re-designed with the Studio of Terence Disdale Design, a large jetted spa pool was added on the aft deck, and Zero Speed stabilizers were also installed.

White Cloud offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising 1 owner cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 3 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

In order to keep it within Lloyd’s Classification, it underwent the 25-year marine survey in 2010. Her engine control, machinery and monitoring systems were then upgraded and the exterior was completely refinished. DuPont and Luu Marine worked side-by-side with the crew of White Cloud during the entire project with incredible results.

Feadship White Cloud Superyacht is up for sale

The 67.3 meter long White Cloud Superyacht was built back in 1983 by Feadship for the renowned Dutch Prince de Lignac. It has now been listed for sale by Y.CO and Merle Wood & Associates. It is said that the prince himself used to reside aboard this superb cruiser, for a number of years.

By that time the vessel was known as New Horizon L, but had undergone a sale and an extension in 2005, up to the length it boasts now. Until now, the yacht has been fitted with Zero Speed stabilizers and a large jetted spa on the aft deck, while a large part of the interior was re-designed and re-decorated in collaboration with the Studio of Terence Disdale Design.

Furthermore, in order to keep it within Lloyd’s Classification, it has undergone the 25-year marine survey in 2010. A completed exterior refinish has also been done to the vessel, along with upgrades of its monitoring systems, engine control and machinery. The processes were successfully realized in close collaboration by White Cloud’s crew and DuPont and Luu Marine.

DeVoogt Naval Architects have their name written all over the ship’s exterior design and engineering, in a figurative way, adding their characteristic sophistication and incredible attention to detail. The interior, on the other hand, was penned down by Luigi Sturchio, with a bit of exterior styling signed Jon Bannenberg.

The superyacht can overall host a total of 10 guests, featuring an owner’s cabin, one VIP cabin and two staff cabins. The crew resides inside 9 crew cabins and the 2 staff cabins. As far as we’ve researched, the yacht is currently listed for a whopping $23.9 million. The elegance and sleekness of this gorgeous vessel makes it to entirely deserve the 8 digit number.

Falcon Lair features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 41,998 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠100-A1.1 "y" classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

2. 198ft Areti Super Yacht

Believed to be owned by a Russian tycoon who owns two smaller motoryachts bearing the same name, the Areti , which visited Bermuda in June 2012, is a 198 foot tri-deck motoryacht, while its sister ships are 127 feet long and are reported to be identical with the exception of some interior artwork.

3. 157ft Lady Joy Super Yacht

The $38 million luxury motor yacht Lady Joy , owned by Grammy-nominated songwriter Denise Rich sleeps up to 12 guests in six staterooms, is capable of carrying up to 11 crew on board, and offers elevator service to all decks. The vessel docked in St. George’s, Bermuda in April 2014.

4. 180ft Kamalaya Super Yacht

The 180-foot super yacht Kamalaya , which also visited the island in April 2014, features a touch-and-go helipad, and the owner’s suite is fitted with a folding balcony, but there does not appear to be any easily accessible information about who owns the luxurious vessel.

5. 225ft Lady S Super Yacht

The $70 million super yacht Lady S , owned by Daniel Snyder, an American billionaire best known as the owner of the NFL’s Washington-based football team, can accommodate 16 guests and 22 crew members, and features a five-story spiral staircase, theatre room, 10,000 litre pool, Jacuzzi, fully-equipped gym, sauna, library, tender boats, an elevator serving all levels, and more. It visited Bermuda’s shores in October 2014.

6. 220ft White Cloud Super Yacht

The 220-foot motor yacht White Cloud , which visited Bermuda in April 2014, was originally built for Dutch millionaire Bram van Leeuwen, also known as Prince de Lignac, and was once one of the most expensive yachts ever built; it is reported to have gold interior fittings.

7. 230ft Martha Ann Super Yacht

The $95 million Martha Ann , owned by US real estate developer Warren E Halle, is a 230-foot vessel that features six decks, a circular glass elevator, Jacuzzi, gym, 12-seat dining salon, sports bar, large pool, jet skis, and a 26 foot speedboat. It made a stop in Bermuda in May 2014.
