The impressive 62,5m (203´) motor yacht PARTY GIRL (Ex Meridian, Maidelle) is the third luxury vessel built by the well known Dutch shipyard Icon Yachts, with naval architecture by Jouke van der Baan. Featuring sophisticated exterior by renowned Redman Whiteley Dixon and elegant interior by Cristiano Gatto, this magnificent yacht offers accommodation to 12 guests in 8 cabins.

PARTY GIRL provides wide entertainment areas, both formal as well as informal, along with spacious rooms for privacy. There is a 17-metre main saloon, large outdoor areas, as well as the Owner´s cabin divided into two decks with a direct link to a spectacular saloon with amazing views. In 2013, PARTY GIRL underwent an extensive conversion of the Observation Lounge on the forward upper deck into a second Master Suite, performed by ICON Yachts.

On the main deck, the formal dining and salon are laid in an open plan and are surrounded by panoramic windows. Further aft, open entering the salon, is the indoor/outdoor lounge, followed by a bar on the aft deck. A plush aft deck seating area is perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

The upper sky lounge is well-appointed with a two generous lounge areas and direct access to the spacious aft deck, where there are an additional seating area and alfresco dining option.

She boasts a full beach club on the stern, complete with ample seating, tables and a gym. On the sundeck, the Icon yacht offers plenty of seating, sun pads, shade and a luxurious Jacuzzi.

Ideally suited for chartering, luxury yacht PARTY GIRL’s layout ensures privacy and comfort. Twelve guests can enjoy a five-star holiday in one of PARTY GIRL’s eight staterooms. She offers two owner suites or one large owner penthouse with spectacular 180-degree views and a private balcony! Two additional queen guestrooms also are located on the upper deck. The four additional staterooms are all located on the lower deck. Two are doubles with queen-size beds and en-suite baths and two are twins, capable of conversion to doubles, with en-suite baths. All staterooms have been outfitted with the highest quality materials and styled by the famed Christiano Gatto, who created a comfortably chic ambience throughout the yacht. The interior of the yacht offers art deco vibes with Oriental touches in a contemporary style. The atmosphere is Zen-like, akin to a spa and ideally suited for relaxation. Christiano Gatto utilized indigenous woods, such as walnut Canaletto, ebony, rosewood, mahogany, leather and natural stone, including black meteorite marble, travertine, to create the magnificent spaces. One of the highlights is a 17-meter main salon. On deck, charter yacht PARTY GIRL does not disappoint. Enjoy her gym located on her exceptionally large beach club. Stylish interiors and ample alfresco areas make 205.05ft/62.5m Custom motor yacht 'Party Girl' the perfect yacht for entertaining in style. She was launched in 2013 by Dutch yard Icon Yachts and last refitted in 2019. Her lavish interiors have been designed by her Cristiano Gatto Design and her exterior styling is by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Her previous names include Meridian.

With her refined on-board ambience, Party Girl is a popular platform for entertaining and socialising. Her wide range of on-board amenities means she is well-suited to fun-filled family vacations as well as lavish superyacht charters with friends. She is invariably in-demand wherever she cruises, from the islands of the Bahamas to the coastlines of the Mediterranean. 

Exterior Design

The yacht's sleek and streamlined exterior lines come courtesy of Redman Whiteley Dixon. She features a strong, but well-proportioned profile with large sections of uncovered aft decks that lend themselves perfectly to alfresco living. She offers a spacious sundeck with a jacuzzi and sunpad spread, as well as several alfresco dining arrangements and a generous beach club.

Interior Design

A major factor in the yacht's layout was the owner’s desire to create large formal and informal areas to entertain guests, and he also requested a spacious room for family privacy. This is reflected in the 17 metre-long main salon, the outdoor area and the Owner’s cabin, which is divided in two decks with a direct link to a panoramic saloon for moments of family privacy. Party Girl offers serene but elegant spaces, classic yet noble in their finishing. Cristiano Gatto designed the interior around a wide selection of fine woods, including ebony, mahogany, rosewood and walnut canaletto, all with a gloss finish, and balanced by the presence of natural stones such as Spanish natural stone treated with oils.

Guest Accommodation

On a private yacht charter, Party Girl offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in eight cabins. Her configuration can include a split-level owner's suite with access to an observation lounge, or can be divided into two master suites according to the guests' preferences. This unique set-up allows for increased flexibility for two principal charter guests.

The full-beam main deck cabin provides the ultimate in luxury living. It has a lounge area to starboard and a dressing table to port, with an en suite stretching out over the forward wall. It enjoys his and hers sinks and a full-size bathtub. This cabin is connected to the observation lounge via a private staircase, giving the principal guests access to an exterior deck area with a Portugese bridge.

When used as a stateroom rather than an observation lounge, the staircase can be shut off for privacy. Guests in the upper deck stateroom can soak up panoramic views over the surroundings and take advantage of an exclusive alfresco deck area. 

Another two cabins can be found on the upper deck, the smaller of which is perfect for supernumerary guests like nannies or bodyguards, and can be used as an en suite when the forward cabin is in use.

The remaining four cabins are located on the lower deck. Two are doubles with queen-size beds and two are twins, capable of converting to doubles. Each cabin is warm and inviting, with infusions of natural light and plenty of soft furnishings. All the lower deck cabins benefit from an individual en suite and ample storage space.

She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a seamless luxury yacht experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Motor yacht Party Girl offers plenty to keep her guests her guests entertained during a yacht charter. Guests generally gravitate toward the beach club, which is well-appointed to allow the entire charter party to enjoy the space in a relaxed and convivial setting. To port is a gym, while a storage room, shower and dayhead can be found to starboard. 

Adjoining the beach club, the swim platform provides direct access to the sea and makes it simple and straightforward to launch watertoys into the water. It enjoys bathing steps for convenient disembarkation. 

For making the most out of the water, Party Girl is equipped with a huge selection of the latest water toys and accessories. Guests can enjoy on-the-water fun with paddleboards, wake boards and Waverunners, as well as underwater exploration thanks to Seabobs and snorkelling equipment. Meanwhile, guests of all ages will love towabale and inflatable toys, which includes a waterslide, floating carpet and a towable aqua glide saucer.

After splashing in the sea, guests can head up to the sundeck to make the most out of the warm weather. A jacuzzi pool enjoys an elevated position on the aft portion of the deck, encircled by sunpads where guests can stretch out and bask in the sunshine. The space is adjoined by a row of sunloungers, with an innovative indoor-outdoor area located amidships. A dayhead adds an extra level of convenience for the charter party. Forward of the sundeck, there is a sleek wet bar which offers prime views over the surroundings and provides a lovely spot for evening aperitifs.

Thousands of eager boaters, jet skiers, kayakers and paddleboarders were expected at Boca Bash 2024 . Typically, it draws anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 participants on Lake Boca.

But make no mistake — the Boca Bash boating party is all about boozing and bikinis.

What is Boca Bash?

The Boca Bash  is a once-a-year boating party held on Lake Boca Raton in, you guessed it,  Boca Raton . The city of Boca itself has no official involvement with putting on the annual party on the water, and Florida actually has jurisdiction over Lake Boca.

The event originally started as a birthday bash for then-local Rockey Rossi, planned by his friends Brad Geisen and Scott McCure in 2007. The city asked them to cancel the party,  which allegedly included hiring the rock band Nickleback  to perform. The plans garnered enough attention though, and despite their cancellation, drew dozens of boaters to the lake.

Wife of real estate mogul George Pino to pay $16M to parents of girl hurt in boat crash

Criminal case against developer continues.

MIAMI – The wife of prominent South Florida real estate broker George Pino will pay $16 million to the family of a girl seriously hurt in a September 2022 boat crash in Biscayne Bay as part of a lawsuit settlement, a Miami-Dade judge ruled.

Pino, 53, of southwest Miami-Dade, took out the 29-foot boat to celebrate his daughter’s birthday over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends when he crashed into a channel marker near Boca Chita Key, killing 17-year-old Lourdes Academy student Lucy Fernandez and injuring several others.

The 35-page lawsuit was filed by the parents of Katerina Puig, a Lourdes Academy student, who, according to the lawsuit, was permanently disabled in the Sept. 4 crash.

Fourteen people were onboard, including Pino’s wife, Cecilia, the family’s lawsuit states. Both were named in the suit, but Cecilia Pino will foot the legal judgment, which comes with a 9.34% annual interest rate.

According to the Miami Herald , Cecilia Pino had wanted to keep the dollar figure confidential for 10 years to “avoid substantial injury,” stating that media coverage of the case damaged business at George Pino’s company, State Street Realty, where Cecilia Pino also works.

The lawsuit says Pino was speeding when he ran into the channel marker in Cutter Bank, ejecting all on board.

The lawsuit states that the Pinos, who were supposed to be supervising the group of teenage girls, bought and allowed them to consume alcohol.

It also alleges that George Pino “refused a blood draw and/or breathalyzer testing after the accident...in order to conceal the fact that he had consumed alcohol to the extent that his normal faculties were impaired.”

Nearly a year after the crash, officials charged George Pino with one count each of careless operation of a vessel causing death and careless operation of a vessel causing serious injury, both misdemeanors. But authorities said they did not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash.

Officials said at the time the charges came after an “extensive marine investigation” conducted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and were the maximum allowable by law.

“The driving pattern of the vessel, as clearly indicated by the boat’s onboard GPS system, and the fact that the boat operator was not impaired by drugs or alcohol while operating the vessel limited the criminal charges applicable to the circumstances of this incident,” Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office spokesperson Ed Griffith said in a news release after the charges were announced last August.

Pino pleaded not guilty in the criminal case. According to Miami-Dade court records, a status report on the case is scheduled for Tuesday.
