Captain Brent Chapman has been working at sea for almost 30 years. As a Master Mariner, he has some incredible experiences including commanding the Smithsonian Institution’s research ship, tall ships, passenger ships and late in 2006, he turned to the mega-yacht industry. Brent joined Lauren L in December of 2012, having previously been in command of various charter and private yachts worldwide. His interests include audiophile music systems, riding motorcycles, skiing, flying airplanes and diving – both scuba and skydiving!

With a 3.75m (12.3ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created from steel. In 2008 further refit work and modernisation was additionally finished.

Motor Yacht

Luxury motor yacht Lauren L is an impressively spacious and exceptionally serviced superyacht built in 2002 by German company Cassens-Werft. With a steel hull and superstructure, the motor yacht features interior and exterior design by Alpha Marine. Formally known as Sun Bay II and Constellation, she measures 90 metres and can accommodate up to 40 guests.

Lauren L started life as a 100-passenger cruise vessel. She was purchased by Russian oil magnate Mikhail Khodorkovsky to be used as a floating headquarters though she never actually was. The late Andreas Liveras re-named her Lauren L and completely converted her adding a large master suite and spa as well as moving the helicopter pad to the fore deck so that tenders could be stored on the bridge deck aft.

The motor yacht can accommodate parties of up to 150 and cruises comfortably at 14 knots. A crew of 31 is available to ensure the needs of all guests are met during yacht charters. Featuring a dedicated crew and a wide range of onboard facilities and water toys, she is a top charter yacht for luxury family holidays, corporate groups or as a conference venue.

Amongst her 20 cabins are eight double staterooms each with en suite and salon; 10 double/twin suites with en suite and saloon; a 100-square-metre master suite with dressing room, bathroom, separate Jacuzzi and salon; and a double VIP suite with walk-in-wardrobes, bathroom and salon.

Boasting a full range of exciting entertainment options, Lauren L features a helipad, Lido Bar and beauty centre including Jacuzzi, sauna, Steam room, Gym, Aromatherapy, Relaxation Room with aquarium, Hair & Nail Saloon and Massage Room among her extensive list of amenities. You will also find onboard a spacious conference room, library, conference centre and formal dining room.

Lauren L is equipped with an entire armada of water toys to provide endless hours of entertainment during any yacht charter. Water toys include water skis, Jet Skis, windsurfing, tubsters, wake boards, thrashers, bananas, fly fishing equipment, a water sledge, diving equipment, sport shooting equipment, two Solemar B28 offshore tenders, and a Sea Doo Bombardier 200 horse power speed boat. There is also a Bauer dive compressor on board.

For entertainment back on the yacht deck, Lauren L carries a collection of board games and features a digital television with over 50 satellite channels, digital on-demand services with at least 600 movies and 10,000 songs, while every cabin also includes a digital TFT television set and a personal computer with full internet services.

The vessel calls the port of Monaco home during the summer but docks in the Caribbean in the winter. In the summer months the motor yacht sails the West Mediterranean, covering the Riviera, Corsica and Sardinia. Winter sees her sailing the Caribbean, covering the Virgin Islands, Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands.

GERMAN YACHT

With twenty (20) cabins, accommodating up to forty (40) guests, and fully-equipped with futuristic technology and every modern feature, the Giga yacht has been designed to cater to the most discerning corporate clients as a superior conference and business venue. Of course, this does not mean her creature comforts have been overlooked. Where there is work there must also be play, and this yacht boasts a full range of watersports equipment, massage and beauty salons, spas, Jacuzzi, sauna, and gym to cater to every private or corporate guest’s needs.

COCKTAIL RECEPTIONS

Guests can sink into luxurious Alcantara leather sofas in the main saloon (living room). This room has soft lighting and soothing art for relaxation.  Music from an Ottomeister grand #piano is the perfect backdrop for a cocktail reception. Guests enjoy live music as they mingle, sip exotic drinks, and sample the delicious canapés. In specific, prepared by the yacht’s five-star Italian Chefs. OWNER’S SUITE

The main owner’s suite is 78 square meters.  It includes a separate conference room, lounge, dressing room, and walk-in wardrobe.  Additionally, a spacious bathroom ensuite boasting a lovely full-sized marble Jacuzzi tub.  The yacht has 3 VIP cabins, all 48 square meters in size.  Each has a salon as well as an ensuite bathroom. The mega yacht has an additional, equally luxurious 10 guest cabins. These are 38 square meters in size.  Important to note, equal in superior amenities to the larger VIP Suites. Finally, there are 10 more staterooms. Each is 19 square meters in size. These offer charter guests adjustable twin/double beds, ensuite bathrooms, and computers. In addition, a multimedia entertainment package and mini-bar in each.

The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). ‘Lauren L’ is a 295.28ft /90m conversion motor yacht ‘Lauren L’ was built in 2002 by Cassens-Werft and last refitted in 2008. Alpha Marine is responsible for her superior engineering and elegant interior design. Previously named Constellation her luxurious interior is designed by Alpha Marine and her exterior styling is by Cassens-Werft.

There are a number of special features on board including a conference center and beauty salon. You’ll also find a Jacuzzi and sauna – ideal for kicking back after a busy day exploring.

Lauren L’s family-friendly interior layout sleeps up to 36 guests in 20 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 8 double cabins and 10 double/twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 40 crew members onboard to ensure a truly luxurious charter experience. Timeless furnishings and sumptuous seating arrangements make this an elegant choice.

Built with a steel hull and steel/wood superstructure, the yacht is built to comply to both MCA and Germanischer Lloyd + MCA and SOLAS standards. She has a cruising speed of 12 knots, a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 3,400nm from 153,600litre fuel tanks.

Access is easy with a lift/elevator to all decks. A gym is also equipped with all the latest exercise equipment so you’ll never miss a work out.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or share your experience on social media. Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on hot, sticky days.

The private charter yacht LAUREN L is available for select charter in the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean.  Lauren L features 4 decks with a guest area of 1,800 sq meters with enormous open entertaining areas and small intimate areas for private discussions, a superbly equipped conference room and a vast array of leisure equipment. Throughout the day guests can relax on the sundeck or enjoy the luxurious health and beauty centre, which includes a sauna, steam room, aromatherapy treatment room, beauty and hair salon, gym and a relaxing observation saloon with spectacular views front and starboard. A fully supervised crèche is available throughout the day. The charter yacht LAUREN L has a large saloon with a large bar and deck areas for entertaining where you can hold a pre-conference drinks evening for your delegates or escape for a quiet chat in the library.  The main deck provides one of the yacht’s largest entertaining spaces. A casual aft deck seating area leads to a bar and a vast main saloon, with a grand piano. Mirrored ceilings, hand woven carpets and silk upholstery provide an atmosphere of comfortable elegance. When it’s time for work, the spacious conference room with large oval table and supremely comfortable hide chairs provides the perfect business environment.  A fully integrated multimedia system with 50” plasma screen is set up for Internet access, video conferencing and presentations.  The library is set up for less formal presentations or as a cinema with over 600 films and 10,000 music CD’s as well as satellite television. Internet and email workstations are linked up to the yacht’s broadband system. Forty guests are accommodated in 20 suites. The Master Suite on the Bridge Deck is 110 sq meters (1183 sq feet) and includes it own private balcony. The luxurious accommodation features a superior California king-size bed, plasma television and DVD equipment. The white marble ensuite bathroom features a double bath jacuzzi, a shower room and separate basins. WC and bidet. The suite has a subsidiary private saloon with a fully equipped study which leads on to the private balcony. A personal laptop with broadband internet access is provided. Other accommodation includes one double VIP suite of 60 metres, three double executive suites on the bridge deck, ten double suites on the upper deck and five double suites on the main deck. All have en suite bathrooms, large wardrobes and Italian linens. Additionally, all suites have a mini bar, safe, direct dial telephones and plasma screens in both the bedroom and private saloon, linked to the large central film library. The perfect private yacht, for a family vacation, corporate meeting or a perfect conference venue.
