Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now

Are Jenna and Adam still together?

From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?

Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

They might be low on the sailing yacht totem pole, but deckhand Parker McCown and third stew Georgia Grobler sure have a high amount of opinions. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew members stopped by the Decider offices last week and didn’t hold back when it comes to the current group of rowdy guests (they’re friends with them!), Adam and Jenna’s relationship (not really fans), and the amount of flirting happening on the boat (it’s their love language). Here, Parker and Georgia break down the shenanigans amongst the guests and crew members that we did and didn’t see, including the magical remedies to remove stains.

Decider: You two seem to be the ones that were least affected by these guests. What did you think was the key to dealing with this group? 

Georgia Grobler: You just have to be objective about it. They’re having their best time and they don’t realize that we don’t all have the same sense of humor. Well, we do have the same sense of humor as them, so for us we just cruised through it.

Parker McCown: I thought they were a blast.

Did you wish you were on the trip with them? 

GG: I mean, we literally just came from hanging out with them yesterday. So clearly we love them.

PM: They’re a lot of fun.

GG: They’re good guys, they’re just there for a good time.

PM: When you’re on these boats and people can pay that amount of money, you can do whatever you want as long as it’s legal, I think. And I think people that watch the show forget that. It’s like, they’re on television so people judge people on TV, but they paid a shit ton of money to be there, they can fucking get wild and break a glass on the boat.

And you don’t mind cleaning it up? 

PM: That’s how we get a fat tip! Because they recognize that we could handle them so they’re like, this crew’s awesome.

GG: I really don’t think making your guests feel like you’re judging them is gonna get you much money. So even if I don’t agree with them, I’m still gonna pretend I agree with them.

PM: And they’re a great change of pace.

I don’t like that Lenny lifted up Madison though. 

GG: Why not?

As somebody who has had people lift me up before when I’ve not asked them to, you lose control of your body and that’s an invasion. 

PM: No, I know she didn’t like that and I know she’s also working, so it was weird. But he was just messing around, he didn’t mean any harm.

GG: It’s not like he was trying to objectify her in any sense of the word, he was just trying to show off his muscles.

PM: I totally understand Madison’s disgruntledness with that.

GG: Yeah, Madison’s feelings are absolutely justified. Everyone’s fine.

Why did they want shrimp cocktail so bad? It doesn’t seem like a typical drunk snack. 

GG: For them, it was more of a running joke, they just kept saying it and then the crew started taking it seriously, like you’re making it sound like we don’t know what we’re doing.

Parker, you were blessed with the opportunity to clean up puke on this charter. 

PM: But again, I knew that it was gonna be crazy. I wasn’t mad. You don’t ever see me mad. I wasn’t disgruntled.

GG: You’re also not the one having the luxury yacht experience. It’s the guests having a luxury yacht experience. You want to know how many times I’ve cleaned up people’s puke? I’ve cleaned nacho puke off the wall where you can specifically see it was guacamole, salsa, beans. There was a full Rasta flag.

PM: In that instance, I was more worried about the teak and the girl that was sick, making sure she was okay. But I knew that night was gonna be nuts.

Georgia, did you feel like things with you and Jenna were better after you talked it out in the laundry room? 

GG: I think I just resigned to the dynamic. It was just me realizing there’s no battle, I’m not going to be able to fight for more attention or more assistance, it was like whatever, okay, fine. This is how it’s gonna be. We’ve set the precedent, we’ve set the tone of the season and I needed to man up and operate in this tone.

I still have a respect for Jenna, I mean, I even have respect for Adam. You’re my bosses, you can do whatever you want and say whatever you want, that is the nature of the business. I’m a third stew, I’m literally at the bottom of the hierarchy, so it’s cool. Jenna in a different context, when you take out the boss element or you take out the Adam/Jenna gossip circle thing, when you take all of that out, I like Jenna. She and I chat a hell of a lot. Social media’s laid into Jenna recently and I’m one of the people that if I wanted to I could be all whiney about mine and Jenna’s dynamic but I feel sorry for the way people are attacking her because she’s a strong cup of tea.

PM: I knew that was gonna happen though.

Do you think what people are saying about her, specifically just seeing her flirting and not working, is fair? 

PM: Jenna actually said this on Colin Macy-O’Toole’s podcast and I thought it was good, she says specifically to that question, all that footage is in the galley which is where the content between Jenna and Adam is because that’s where they both are. So they’re filming that to show that relationship. That just happens to be where it develops. So people are like, all we’re seeing is Jenna in the galley, well that’s because they’re showing the relationship build up.

Georgia, when she offered to hug you and you said no, what was going through your mind at that point? 

PM: [Laughs] This is pretty clutch.

GG: Um…I’ve got physical boundaries and I’ve got very serious physical trust. I really have to trust you. We have to be close for us to hug or do this and that.

PM: You give me hugs.

GG: I know and that’s exactly what I’m saying. The energy of everything and the complete dynamic of me hearing all of this stuff, to ask for a hug is like excuse [you]…It was just very not the tone of the experience. Too soon.

What did you think of Jenna and Adam, did you think it was cute or annoying? 

PM: I didn’t think it was cute, I didn’t necessarily think it was annoying…

GG: I don’t give two fucks about PDA, I just care about the efficiency and the dynamic of the crew. If everything’s going well, then fine, as long as it doesn’t inhibit our performance as a team, which I feel like is the question of the season.

PM: I think things could’ve been better had they not hooked up. But I do support relationships in the workplace. That specific one was troublesome for the crew.

GG: I feel like Jenna would’ve had more time to give me instruction more. When I asked for help I think she would’ve been a bit more open to it had it not been for Adam.

PM: I think she would’ve been overall more considerate in all departments.

GG: I don’t think jokes would’ve ever escalated to being too personal or anything.

PM: Adam’s in the galley he’s not really interacting with all of us all the time so he’s got his own preconceived notion of what he thinks of me. So then, in the galley talking to Jenna, that’s what [he’s going to think]. But he’s not hanging out with me, talking to me.

GG: I don’t mind him making any commentary on me because he doesn’t know anything about me, nor has he seen me ever do anything wrong, so none of it ever stuck in my mind. To hear someone going on a tangent about me when they’ve seen so little of me is like, shit, really? How could you even come up with something like that with this small amount of interaction? So that was a little bit easier to brush off hearing them talking shit about me when I was walking past.

PM: I also think Jenna would’ve had a more positive experience herself if she had not hooked up with Adam.

Parker, after seeing that Ciara was told to “keep an eye on you,” did you know that was happening? 

PM: Because Ciara had been on the boat and working with Paget, I felt like she was a little bit more experienced than me, right? From the get-go that’s how I treated it. I treated it like Ciara was more experienced, not my boss, but I could go to her for help or take her advice on things.  But yeah, I didn’t know she was keeping an eye on me. The only thing she was keeping an eye on was her shortbread.

GG: Also I think we dance on Ciara’s grave at the beginning: this boat’s been sitting idle for nine months, shit’s a mess, everyone lays in because they forget the original crew’s on the boat. I’m not doing it to appease Ciara, but if I need to know the best way to get a stain out of this or that, I’d ask Ciara for advice because obviously Jenna doesn’t like being disturbed by me, we just try to keep space. Ciara would help me out in the laundry, if I asked her for advice she’d give it to me. Then she’s happy to help and I’m happy to have gotten help.

Georgia, there’s some talk that you might be flirting with Paget, but how did you classify your interactions with him? 

GG: Other people’s unit of measurement of flirting is far more black and white than mine. For god’s sake, I’m not saying if I’m talking I’m flirting but this is just how I talk. I speak to everyone like that, I speak to Ciara like that.

PM: Right off the bat I knew that I could have fun and flirt with Georgia.

GG: Parker and I make jokes all the time and we always understand it to be joking. I think because you’re able to detect that Paget and I do approve of each other as people, I think people take all the flirting and stuff a bit seriously. And from what viewers do see of the flirting without any of the sincerity or any of the jokes, I would also be like, damn that’s a homewrecker over there. But everyone’s always known that there has been a respect. I do have immense respect for Ciara and Paget’s relationship. I was never like, come to my cabin. It’s just stupid innuendos and jokes about laundry and underwear and that is just what it is.

Parker, were you getting crush vibes from Madison? 

PM: In my head at the time, I was flirting. I was flirting with Georgia and I was flirting with Madison but it was all friendly to me.

I almost moved in with you guys. I literally almost switched with Jenna. It would’ve actually been good I think. You know who didn’t want to do it? Adam.

I didn’t feel comfortable in my room and I’ve never been in a living situation where I felt that way. And I’ve been in a lot of different living situations.

GG: I do think Parker might’ve been not as aware. Parker and I flirt platonically and we’re aware of it, but I think when Parker and Madison flirt, it was harder for him to sense that there was any sincerity behind it because a lot of us just flirt for sport, like the crew’s love language.

We get a glimpse of this ahead in the next episode but did you expect that not making your bed would be such a source of drama with Adam?

PM: No. One, if you look at Paget and Ciara’s bunk, that top bed is a mess and they sleep in one bed. They don’t make those beds, they don’t get reprimanded for that. I understand that it’s proper decorum to make your bed like you’re in the military because it’s yachting, but not everybody does that. The other thing is when I’m single I don’t make my bed because it’s just me sleeping in it. But when I’m wifed up I do make my bed. It’s the first thing I do in the morning. It’s different circumstances. Also Adam didn’t come to me and say, ‘Parker, you know, you should really just make your bed, it’s what we do.’ He could’ve come to me and been like, ‘Yo, just so you know it’d be nice if you did this.’

GG: Whenever there’s ever been any conflict with Madison, like if she hasn’t done the laundry I’m not gonna stand in the galley and say, ‘Jenna, Madison didn’t do the laundry.’ It’s like, ‘Madison, you didn’t do the laundry,’ and it stops there. I think that’s what helps Madison and I because anytime we do bash heads, we just get it out of the way immediately.

PM: I let Adam use all my hair cream. He used all my expensive hair cream, I didn’t get pissed at that.

You were both a little green coming into this situation, what were the biggest lessons you learned? 

PM: I need to just be more mindful of my overall attitude and tone of voice.

GG: I think just be a little kinder on myself. I think I get myself very worked up about trivial mistakes. Also, you can use fairly liquid to get stains out of everything. It has a different name in every country, it’s like dishwashing liquid. It can be used for any stain and you will be fine.

Including vomit on the wall. 

GG: Well, you can use Coca-Cola to get blood out of concrete at crime scenes. Not that we had to use it on Parsifal, just a random fact.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Ciara Duggan Reveals Why She Split From Paget Berry: ‘I Need To Move On’ (Exclusive)

Sailing ahead! Ciara Duggan is speaking honestly about her split from Below Deck Sailing Yacht costar Paget Berry and revealing what went wrong.

“There were a lot of reasons that it kind of broke down. Being in France, we weren’t quarantining, we weren’t stuck together or anything like that,” Ciara, 23, told Us Weekly exclusively on Wednesday, April 14 about the breakup. “We were there just kind of living life, but you know I was taking temporary jobs and I just kind of realized throughout taking those jobs that I was happier on my own for a lot of reasons.”

Ciara confirmed that she broke up with Paget, in December and that she wasn’t fully invested in the relationship anymore. “I loved him, but I think I was not in love,” she told Us .

The couple confirmed the end of their 9-month-engagement in separate posts earlier this month after fans questioned the status of their relationship.

Ciara first shared the news via Instagram after a comment asking her if she was still together with Paget.

“No,” the reality TV star replied. “Things happen. We’re still on good terms and wish each other nothing but the best.”

Paget followed up with his own confirmation on his social media.

“All good! Loving life at the moment personally and we are still friends,” he wrote in an Instagram comment.

The pair originally started dating in 2016 and then both appeared on the first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , which premiered in February 2020. Following their time on the show, the couple revealed that they were engaged in July 2020.

Ciara clarified that the split was “bound to not work out” since she was 18 years old when the relationship started. “I never really wanted to get married, if I’m being honest,” she said to Us .

The pair are still on “good terms” and continue to communicate occasionally. “There’s no bad feelings between us and I wish him nothing but the best. I need to move on with my life and I need to do what I need to do for me, and he needs to do the same,” she explained. “We’re still in good terms and we’re still friends. I wish him nothing but the best. I hope he finds someone who’s better suited … Neither of us is malicious, which is what matters. We have too much of a history to just not care about each other.”

Paget and Ciara did not return for season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , which is currently airing on Bravo. During their time on the show, fellow cast member Georgia Grobler revealed her feelings for Paget as the charter season was coming to a close.

Ciara clarified to Us that “there’s nothing bad” between her and Georgia and that “it wasn’t even a surprise” that there was a third party thrown into her relationship during the show.

When asked if cheating played a factor in the split Ciara declined to comment.

While Ciara and Georgia haven’t kept in contact, the Below Deck alum has received support from other castmembers since the split. “ Jess [More] was the first person I told and confided in [about the breakup] so she’s been really supportive. I mean, Jess is amazing anyways. She’s been my no. 1, my best friend throughout this whole thing,” Ciara shared about her newfound friendship with Jessica, who appeared on the fifth season of Below Deck Mediterranean .

Ciara revealed that Captain Glenn was another cast member that was there for her, saying, “I contacted Glenn pretty much as soon as we broke up, and I was like ‘Glenn, I need to talk to you. I need some fatherly advice.’ So we had a long chat about it.”

Captain Glenn weighed in on that bombshell and whether he thought there was a chance Georgia would be invited to Paget and Ciara’s wedding.

“I mean, Ciara stayed friends with Georgia, you know? So, who knows?” he told Us in March. “I was impressed by it because, I mean, I think she was really big about the whole thing.”

The captain said that he was proud of how Ciara handled the situation at the time.

“I mean, a little flirtation is OK, but maybe if you push it to the edge, then people, even though they pretend they’re not feeling it, I think maybe they’re a little upset,” he said to Us . “But, you know, that’s Paget. Paget should be more responsible than Georgia. But then Georgia as a friend shouldn’t push the edge.”

Paget subtly responded to recent comments about his relationship with Georgia following the split.

A Look At The Friendship Between Below Deck Besties Jessika Makanalani And Heather Kapiolani

Some people have questioned if "Below Deck" is real or staged , but one thing's for certain — the drama is real. Very often on "Below Deck" and its many spin-offs, the members of the charter crew may butt heads. Sometimes, even the captains get in on the drama, evidenced by  the feud between Captain Sandy and Captain Lee . It's not all bad blood on the open ocean, however. Crew members often strike up friendships or romantic relationships, likely due to the close quarters and amount of time they spend together. One pair of "Below Deck" stars who were in different versions of the show are actually friends off-screen. 

Stew Jessika Makanalani (also known as Jessika Asai) from "Below Deck Mediterranean" Season 8 is friends with Heather Kapiolani (also known as Heather Chase), who was the chief stew in "Below Deck" Season 9. They met before either of them entered the world of reality television.

In 2018, Makanalani shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Kapiolani with the caption, "allll the way from Hawaii to Fort Lauderdale ... Can't wait to see what the future holds for our drunken nights & crazy adventures." Makanalani also included multiple hashtags, one being "#yachties," so both of them were working on yachts prior to their time on "Below Deck."

Makanalani and Kapiolani were both stews on a non-'Below Deck' charter

Although Jessika Makanalani and Heather Kapiolani didn't star in the same "Below Deck" franchise, they worked together on a yacht. In July 2019, Kapiolani shared two photos of herself and Makanalani on Instagram . They were on the deck of a yacht that they were working on. Kapiolani's caption read, "When your [sic] on day three underway ... Haven't seen land since Thursday. Pretty sure we're going a little crazy, but that's ok. I've got @jessikaasai by my side." Kapiolani also mentioned that they'd been biding their time with some of Bradley Cooper's filmography and lots of food and added, "Enjoying these slow moments before the real trip begins."

According to Dexerto , Kapiolani's apology post expressed how badly she felt for her actions and said, "Part of my responsibility as Chief Stewardess is to provide a welcoming, safe environment for the crew and I fell short. At the same time, she does the same to Cat by behaving poorly towards her instead of going a bit easy on her. Barbie is also in a confusing love triangle. She’s leading Kyle Stillie on but playing with Ben Willoughby’s emotions.

It's understandable that viewers are confused by Barbie's previous job, as no one typically sells finance . This leaves viewers unsure of what the Below Deck stewardess meant when she claimed to have sold finances on Wall Street in the Trump building.
