“The project has its origins in a design concept from our office which was aimed at creating the maximum real estate,” De Rover said in a statement. “The client for this bespoke build, an experienced owner of multiple boats, asked to extend the length within this maximum-interior-space principle while taking the contemporary looks to an even higher level of sophistication.

Part of the Pilot series , D.Rolli has a self-contained pilothouse for the captain or owner. The custom cruiser also showcases raked bridge windows that are reminiscent of a commercial vessel, air grills that were inspired by automotive design, and robust, masculine lines that create a strong profile. The exterior is a testament to the skill of Van der Valk’s aluminum shapers and welders.

Details of the 295 GT interior have not yet been released, but D.Rolli has an owner’s suite on the main deck and VIP on the lower deck. Both open out to large balconies with ocean views. The aft platform is also equipped with two fold-out balconies that can double the amount of waterside space. Further toward the stern, you’ll find a hydraulic swim platform and a garage for tenders and toys.

D.Rolli offers an abundance of exterior deck space for alfresco lounging, too. The aft is home to a giant dining table and circular sofa that can both seat 10, while the bridge deck sports a wet bar with BBQ. To top it off, the foredeck is fitted with a sun lounge and a Jacuzzi.

The best part is Van der Valk is currently building another custom yacht for an owner with decades of experience on the water. Let’s see how that cruiser turns out, then.

In the mid-1980s, they introduced the Vitesse series, comprising steel and aluminum semi-displacement motor yachts tailored for the high-end market.

The late 1990s saw the emergence of the elegant Continental I series, a hallmark product of Van der Valk. It garnered the admiration of countless owners worldwide and marked the company’s foray into the superyacht sector, characterized by increased length and elevated quality. Collaborations with Guido de Groot played a pivotal role in these upgrades and extensions.

Van der Valk’s commitment to innovation was exemplified in 2013 with the launch of the 37-meter Santa Maria T, the world’s first motor yacht featuring a two-axis fin antiroll damping system. They were also early adopters of the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, crafting special hulls and new models to harness its potential.

The award winning 27m/88'7" motor yacht 'Leven' was built by Van der Valk in the Netherlands at their Waalwijk shipyard. Her interior is styled by Dutch designer design house Vripack and she was completed in 2019. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Vripack.

Leven has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V2000 M96L) 1,900hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 18 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots with a range of up to 400 nautical miles from her 3,170 gallon fuel tanks. Her low draft of 1.37m/4'6" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 528 Gallons of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.

First look: Inside 34m Van der Valk motor yacht Blue Jeans

Following her maiden voyage to London in November, Van der Valk has offered a look inside its custom 33.7 metre motor yacht Blue Jeans .

Designed inside and out by Guido De Groot , the all-aluminium yacht is tailored towards "kicking back and relaxing" with friends and family and is billed as the most complex all-custom project to date by the Dutch shipyard.

The interior styling follows a warm, yet contemporary theme, with blonde woods, discreet lighting and rich textures throughout. Alongside white Carrara marble, the design team has used liquid metal, copper and Lapis Blue marble. 

The yacht also places increased focus on creating a light and airy feeling, which is achieved via higher-than-average ceilings, with a clearance of up to 2.5 metres in the main saloon area.

The main saloon is home to a bar, three separate seating areas with a dining area forward, concealed by a bulkhead with a cinema-style TV screen. The dining area is home to a capstan table that can double in size to accommodate a large party of guests and there is a small galley area attached. 

Accommodation for eight guests is split between an owner’s suite, two VIP cabins and a twin cabin. Further cabins can sleep a crew of four.

Elsewhere, the yacht features a circular sofa area on the sundeck with a central firepit and hidden drinks storage, which is accompanied by a retractable diving board integrated into the port bulwark. Blue Jeans is also home to a foredeck "chillout lounge" with sun pads tucked into the bow, a U-shaped sofa and a dining table that pops up from the deck.

Blue Jeans features a large garage for a Carbon Craft CC130 turbojet tender, which is launched by a hydraulic swim platform. Power comes from two 2600hp engines for a top speed of 28 knots.

The yacht stands out with her custom blue hull paint by Alexseal and silver-grey superstructure.

"Building a bespoke boat for clients who know exactly what they desire is a pleasure and a privilege," a representative of the yard said. "It's exactly the kind of challenge we love to take on."

Van der Valk currently has the 34 metre WV0144 on order, and the Dutch shipyard recently delivered the 24 metre Dutch Falcon .

BeachClub 660 // Van der Valk

After the beachclub 600 , the dutch luxury yacht builder van der valk shipyard comes up with the beachclub 660..

Like the 600, also the BeachClub 660 is a design by Cor D. Rover (exterior and interior design) and Ginton Naval Architects . Van der Valk plans this range from 19.05m to 34m.

“Thanks to the smart design of the BeachClub range, the new 660 Flybridge will provide an exceptional amount of indoor and outdoor space of a kind normally only seen on far larger yachts,” explains Patrick Lankhuizen, sales director at Van der Valk. “The aim is to create something that is genuinely innovative and gives clients not only an unprecedented feeling of space but far more room in reality.”

The yacht has a 25 sqm foredeck with different layout options and storage for a tender. The main salon with indoor helm station comes with 21 sqm, the lower deck salon at the stern that includes the galley has a size of 27 sqm. This area has also a direct access to the 17 sqm beach deck (the large bathing platform).

On the lower deck, you can find the owner’s suite (at the bow), two guest cabins and an (optional) crew cabin. Van der Valk placed the Volvo IPS 950 engines nearly at the end of the yacht under the beach deck. With this engine configuration, the yacht reaches a maximum speed of 24 knots.
