This custom-built boat has the legendary Carolina flair 31 degrees in the bow and weighs 5,000 lbs and only draws 12 inches.
Designing a new edition of hybrid boats to excel beyond the shallow waters. Formed out of the love for all coastal waters the Valentino 28' offers a stable, safe and dry ride.
With 9’6” beam, Valentino offers outstanding room for entire family or fishing without any of the rocking and rolling. This 28 footer can be easily controlled at any experience level and provides a safe and seaworthy ride for reaching any unexplored waters.
With its flat keel and 12" draft, you can easily access inshore shallow water while taking advantage of its deep-v bow and aggressive bow flare for a stable offshore experience.
Designed and hand-built by a team of craftsmen with decades' worth of sportfish and yacht construction experience; the materials and build quality of the Valentino 28 are second-to-none with a vacuum-infusion construction process, we're able to improve the fiber-to-resin ratio, resulting in a stronger and lighter hull; allowing you to go further, faster with less fuel burn than other center consoles in its class. When looking to buy a boat we put an offer in on one your MD office had listed. It was on land and we planned to do a survey. When arriving day of for survey the galley of the boat reeked of gasoline! To the point where we couldn't stay down there when first opening the door and had to let it air out. Boat turned out to be a total POS with a cracked exhaust manifold spitting out water and both out drives leaking at the transom. Not too mention the starboard motor crapping out during the sea trial. I feel the salesperson wasted my time and money by allowing me to drive down from NY to MD for an overnight trip and paying a surveyor to inspect the boat. I would not recommend Knot 10 MD to anyone looking to buy a boat. There's a reason they only charge a 7% fee.
We had Knot10 list our sailboat and was referred over to Jay P. He came out and did a market value of the boat. He was pretty thorough and set expectations for us accordingly. He showed our boat many times and kept us informed along the way. The GREAT thing is that we did not have to be present for the sea trial, nor hire a captain for it! Jay handled everything! Once the boat went under agreement Paige the office person coordinated all the paperwork, and did all the coast guard transfer stuff. If we buy another boat we would definitely work with Jay and Knot10 yacht sales.
Stephanie and Ernie recently sold my yacht and they worked very hard to market my boat. I was initially concerned over the the distance from their physical location to my boat on the Carolina coast. However, this proved to be a non issue. I found them very diligent and they kept me informed throughout the process. They always returned my calls/emails in a timely manner and were able to get answers to all my questions. They put forth a lot of effort to understand the important details of large saltwater boats and the bottom line is they got results. SRM
