Example of a 1-day itinerary

There’s no better way to start your day than a refreshing morning swim, followed by a light breakfast on board. After breakfast and your morning cup of coffee, you can dock the boat in the marina, go fishing with the locals or simply prepare the boat for the next destination. 

It’s not a bad idea to consult weather charts and make the plan for the rest of the day accordingly.

If the weather is favorable, you can enjoy the feel of sailing a yacht under full sails. For lunch, you can find some nice bay to anchor and try the local delicacies. You can spend the time until dinner sightseeing, swimming, sailing, or practicing watersports. • Weather Considerations: The safety of our guests is our highest priority. In the event of adverse weather conditions, our captain reserves the right to cancel the trip. Affected guests will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
• Premature Trip Termination: Our goal is to provide a delightful sailing experience for all. However, if a guest chooses to end their trip early or return due to seasickness, please understand that we are unable to provide a refund.
• Payment and Billing Procedures: We offer a variety of payment options. Guests can opt to pay the full amount in advance or make a deposit. If an invoice is required, please inform us in advance. The final invoice will be provided on the day of the charter.
• Immediate Grievances: If any issues arise during your trip, please immediately bring them to the attention of our crew. While we will consider refund requests, decisions are ultimately at the captain’s discretion.

Booking Cancellation Terms:

• Up to 5 days in advance: 100% refund.
• Between 3-5 days: 70% of the amount is refunded.
• Within 1-3 days: 35% of the amount is refunded.
• Less than 24 hours or in case of no-show: No refund will be provided.

In 2021 one of his guests asked to hire a Sea Bob, he found it was almost impossible to find one due to limited quantities and when he did the rental price was very expensive and the sea bob was in poor condition. After looking around the island for a suitable supplier he could use next time, he found there was various rental companies but none of them had a range of toys and they had limited stock. Performance

N’Fun 30 is built to ensure a fantastic sailing experience. There are a lot of factors to achieve this: lightweight (thanks to a meticulously hand laid – vacuum infusion optional – sandwich hull using high quality components), stability (550kg in bulb keel), modern shape of the hull, well designed sails and perfect trim. Confirmed in all tests performed by leading European magazines.

Our staff are well educated and experienced in building up to 60ft sailing yachts. Proper planning and quality control help to avoid after sales problems. We use only high quality materials: matt-fibre, epoxy and vinylester resin, plywood with foam core, A316 stainless steel. World leading companies are our suppliers: Harken , Spinlock , Pauger , JefaSteering , TekDek .  We also use not as well-known but often better Polish producers: Bryt Sails(Segelmacher) , Amperflex , Topiko .

In manufacturing our carefully CAD-designed hulls we use only the highest quality components, such as gelcoat from BÜFA in Germany, multi-axial woven mats, resins and foam from European leading companies. We use Vinylester resin for the first outer layer for the best long-term water resistance and longevity of the hull, slow-curing polyester resin for a complete bonding of all layers and a layer of foam for increased stiffness while achieving low weight. Every one layer of the seven layers is meticulously hand-rolled to eliminate air enclosures and excess resin, ensuring a strong and light bond between the glass fibers, the foam core and the resin. The long experience in this process is key to achieving a great result. Optionally, we can offer vacuum infusion for the hull and deck. For this process, all layers are applied dry, covered by network of pipes plus bag and finally resin is vacuum pumped in. This achieves a better resin to fiber ratio and a bit less weight, although we stand firmly behind our hand laid hulls, which remain the choice for almost all owners of N‘Fun 30 yachts.

To cut all bulkheads and elements we use CNC machines which make the assembly process more accurate. Sails are designed in 3D racing software to ensure they fit and perform perfectly and have the right power to drive the speed in our N’Fun 30.

The gateway to the Russian Caucasus: exploring Rostov-on-Don

Set along its storied namesake river, Rostov-on-Don is a geographic crossroads, standing at the historical border between Asian and European cultures and acting as a modern gateway between the Northern Caucasus and the Black Sea coast. It’s a city with Cossack roots and cosmopolitan inclinations – now attracting the attention of international investors, traders and football fans.

The Don River looms large in Russian history and lore, thanks to the fierce and independent-minded peoples who settled here starting in the 16th century. For hundreds of years, the area around Rostov-on-Don was a hotbed of Cossack culture and peasant uprisings. Later, Mikhail Sholokhov wrote about the Cossacks in his epic novel And Quiet Flows the Don, depicting their role in the Russian Civil War and memorialising the mighty river.

Riverside ramble

Nowadays, the Don is the centerpiece of Rostov and its main tourist attraction. Along the inviting riverside promenade, a statue of author Mikhail Sholokhov depicts the writer gazing thoughtfully at the river that helped make him famous. Nearby, you can board a boat with Don Tour for a relaxing river cruise or a fun party on the water (depending on the day and time).

The Don may flow quietly, but the embankment is lively, with food stands, flowing fountains and cranking music. Across the street, the casual  Ryba Taverna  (meaning ‘Fish Tavern’), is a good place to sample some of the local bounty, such as  ukha  (fish soup) and grilled fish. Next door, the Schneider Weisse Brauhaus is a German brewhouse offering house beer and hearty local specialities, many featuring Don fish. Bars set up on boats and barges all along this stretch, so there’s no shortage of waterside drinking establishments. Scores of strolling residents add to the festive atmosphere.

Parks and plazas

Wander away from the river and you’ll discover that Rostov is a city of civic plazas and ample green spaces – ideal for exploring on foot. Pushkinskaya Ulitsa is the main pedestrian thoroughfare. This idyllic promenade is blissfully free of traffic and sprinkled with fountains, sculptures, cafes and restaurants, with outdoor seating and music-playing buskers during the summer. It’s particularly enticing at its eastern end, between the university and the October Revolution Park, where crowds of young folks congregate. Pushkinskaya is Rostov’s hippest strip, with all the requisite eating and drinking venues: sip espresso at 8 Zeryon , sample local beers at Kraft Bar or feast on burgers at Shtefan Burger .

Near the western end of Pushkinskaya, leafy Gorky Park is home to blooming gardens and cheerful kiddie rides. When the weather is fine, the park is popular with chess-playing locals, families with children and plenty of lazy cats. An impressive monument to the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution is also nestled into the greenery. For more Soviet nostalgia, head to the city’s central square, known as Ploshchad Sovetov. The ‘Square of Soviets’ is dominated by a colossal monument commemorating the Red Army soldiers who took part in the Russian Civil War. Don’t miss the socialist-realist tile work depicting optimistic workers and farmers in the perekhod (underground passage) below the street.

Local landmarks

Aside from the Don River, the most distinctive landmark in Rostov is the lavish, gold-domed Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral, a neo-Byzantine church built in 1856. The nearby Central Market is worth a wander for tables piled high with fresh fruit and berries, dried fish and herbs and handmade brooms.

For more than 200 years, the city’s hub has been on the northern bank of the Don. But the new Rostov Arena was built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on the otherwise empty ‘left bank’. City officials have indicated that the arena is only the beginning of development on the south side, which will eventually become a lively cultural and commercial centre – stay tuned.

Cossack capital

Just 35km downstream from Rostov-on-Don, the village of Starocherkasskaya was the Don Cossack capital from the late 16th to the early 18th century. It was once a fortified town with 20,000 residents, but nowadays it’s a quaint village with wooden houses lined up along its main street. The magnificent Resurrection Cathedral anchors the street’s eastern end, showing off a soaring golden iconostasis, a baroque chandelier and an unusual floor of metal tiles.

Apart from the old-fashioned atmosphere, the main attraction in Starocherkasskaya is the Ataman Palace , once the residence of the Cossack chiefs. The grand house now contains exhibits that showcase Don Cossack culture past and present, including household items and lots of weapons. You can also peek inside the fortress-house of Kondraty Bulavin , the Cossack rebel leader who led an unsuccessful uprising in 1707.

The most pleasant way to get to Starocherkasskaya on summer weekends is to take a cruise with Don Tour , but a marshrutka (minibus) also runs hourly from Rostov.

Make it happen

Rostov-on-Don has no shortage of big hotels, some of which are holdovers from the Soviet era, while others are new international business-class chain hotels. For a more intimate experience, try Hotel Attaché or Park City Rose .

Numerous trains pass through the Rostov train station, chugging north to Moscow and south to Sochi. You can also take a two-hour flight here from Moscow or St Petersburg.

Frozen Dead Guys for everyone!

Through Sunday. Colorado’s favorite cryogenically themed hoedown, Frozen Dead Guy Days , returns to Estes Park this week (assuming it isn’t snowed out) with a zombie crawl, Royal Blue Ball (Friday, March 15) and other activities, such as live music and “frosty games” — most of which take place Saturday, March 16.

“Festival goers can expect the weird and wonderful happenings from years past, including coffin races and a polar plunge, as well as plenty of new and elevated Estes twists, like a frostbite fashion show, a Bands and Bloodys Sunday Brunch and more,” organizers wrote. Tickets: $49 for the festival, and $99 for the Royal Blue Ball.

St. Patrick’s Day family fun

Through Sunday. Besides the green beer, Irish cuisine specials, and vigorous singing and dancing, this year’s St. Patrick’s Day brings back the massive Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade , which as of this writing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, despite the intense storm this week. Free and family-friendly, it steps off at 19th and Wynkoop streets, with the best viewing for families at Blake Street from 23rd to 27th streets. See denverstpatricksdayparade.com for more.

We’re also liking the jib of Old Towne Arvada’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival (noon-6 p.m. Saturday, with kids activities and entertainment) and Boulder Social’s Puppy Parade , with $10 donations per parading dog going to Boulder’s Farfel’s Farm and Rescue; it also gets you a house-brewed Social Beer ( besocialcolorado.com/bouldersocial ).

Five Points has its first St. Paddy’s Day Pet Parade and Costume Competition , led by a brass band along Welton Street starting at 11 a.m. Saturday. It joins the historic neighborhood’s traditional pub crawl, spoken word poetry, and live DJ performances — attendees of which are encouraged to wear their most sparkling green gear. An indie-songwriter dilemma

Tuesday. Madi Diaz’s indie-folk carries a mid-tempo hush that often sprawls into soaring choruses, as heard on “Don’t Do Me Good,” her sparkling duet with Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves. Diaz brings her show to the Bluebird Theater (3317 E. Colfax Ave. in Denver) on Tuesday, March 19. Tickets for the 16-and-up concert with openers Daniel Nunnelee and Patrick Dethlefs are $22 at axs.com .

Colorado Dragon Boat Film Fest

Through Sunday. Unique in the region, the Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival in 2016 grew out of the so-named competitive event at Sloan’s Lake Park, with a compact slate of films exploring Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander heritage. It returns through Sunday, March 17, with screenings, Q&As with filmmakers, two “creative conversations” with community members, and the first Golden Dragon Award (for actress Ji-young Yoo).

Lucky charms, bar crawls, family-friendly St. Patrick's Day celebrations and more are in store this weekend in metro Detroit. You can even discover the art of tapping maple trees for sap .

Here are five things to do for the weekend of March 15-17.

Easter Bunny, Petting Farm, St. Patrick’s Day

Families can celebrate St. Paddy at an outdoor festival in Rochester Hills on Sunday. It promises to be an afternoon of fun with music, outdoor lawn games and green beer.

In addition, the Easter Bunny will be attendance to visit with kiddies and distribute treats, and a petting farm will include baby chicks, baby goats and ducks.

Noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Easter fun continues on the weekends of March 23-24 and March 29-30. Easter Bunny and petting farm visits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Village of Rochester Hills, 104 N. Adams Road in Rochester Hills.

Novi Boat Show

More than 100 exhibitors will be showing boats for everything from skiing and fishing to cruising at the annual Novi Boat Show. Visitors can view or purchase boats and accessories, and take in some fun and entertainment.

Photo opportunities, contests, giveaways, boater safety course and crafts for kids are part of the fun.

2-9 p.m. Thursday-Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. $12, free to children 12 and younger accompanied by an adult.

Detroit Shamrock Festival 2024

Festivities for this St. Patrick’s Day party will include 15 DJs, live music, dancing, Irish beer, whiskey, food trucks and vendors — all under a giant heated tent.

Noon-10 p.m. Saturday at 401 Gratiot Ave. (corner of Brush) in Detroit. Go to Detroit Shamrock Festival for tickets.

St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Grab your leprechaun and St. Patrick’s Day attire for a Saturday bar crawl that will cover numerous establishments across Detroit.

A ticket gets you two or three drinks or shots, special drinks, food deals, a waived cover charges at all participating venues, professional photographers and more.

Venues include Baltimore Lounge, Bookie’s Bar & Grille, Brass Rail, Checker Bar Detroit, Grand Trunk Pub, Harry’s, Love and Tequila, and Tin Roof Detroit. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Pure Michigan Syrup & Songs

• Join the Farmington Hills Nature Center team Sunday for sessions on tapping maple trees for sap, a tradition known as “sugaring.” Visitors will learn everything from tree identification to details on the tapping process and sap collection. Choose from three one-hour sessions starting at noon, 2 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. at Heritage Park, 24915 Farmington Road in Farmington Hills. $7 per person. Register at the Heritage Park website.
• The 60-piece Farmington Concert Band will present “Pure Michigan, a Musical Postcard,” a tribute concert showcasing music by four composers with ties to the state, at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hawk Community Center, 29995 W. Twelve Mile Road in Farmington Hills. Admission is $15, $5 students.
