Spent an afternoon in Devil's Cove tied up with the Lake Travis Yacht fleet. Our crew had such an awesome time! Our Captain was really great accommodating us. We had lily pads and plenty of storage space for our use. The tritoon we rented sat 13 of our friends comfortably and it was nice having a reliable designated boat driver. Thank you for the adventure! 10/10 we will definitely be renting again!

Couldn't ask for a better experience. We had 19 girls on our trip which as you can imagine, made logistics challenging, but Lake Travis Yacht Rentals made it so easy and enjoyable to plan our day on the lake. From booking the boat, to making sure we were prepared day of- We didn't have to worry about a thing. They were on top of every detail, and our crew enjoyed the whole experience. Captain Shawn was stellar- We all felt safe and comfortable, and he went out of his way to make sure we had a great day on Lake Travis.

Booked one of their large party boats with a slide for a friends birthday this past May and had a great time! A friend referred the company and Captain Jessica to me, and though she was booked herself that weekend she answered all my questions and was so helpful! Derek was our Captain that day and was awesome! He texted me a couple days prior to our trip and provided details and things to know before arriving, and was SUPER attentive. Entire time on the boat was awesome, we had so much fun and Derek made sure we had a great time. Super clean boats, very responsive, and fun people! Highly recommend Lake Travis Yacht Rentals!!

Captain Gavin on the Spectre yacht was the best! We came for a bachelorette party and he was super communicative, helpful and kind! He made sure everyone was having a great time. We were able to hook up our music and there was a large cooler provided on the boat for drinks and food. The boat was clean and and roomy for everyone (12 people).

Captain Neil was great! He took care of every detail and made the whole trip super smooth and a lot of fun. The boat was great and the lake was beautiful. Captain Neil knows all the great spots to anchor.

We had a FABULOUS time! Captain Pacey was so fun and very helpful. She even took pictures of us and added to our whole experience. This was our second time using this company and we wouldn’t want to use anyone else.

10/10 Boat Day!!! We had the best time charting the 11-person yacht for a bachelorette party. Neil was a very knowledgeable and safe captain but also fun. The boat was in great shape and was plenty big for our party. We linked up with other boats and had a great day! I'd love to visit again.

This is a must if you are in Austin!! We had a blast with captain Neil. The boat had plenty of cooler space and a good sound system! Everything went smoothly and we will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Rented a yacht to throw an all-white yacht party for my fabulous Frenchie friends bday, as this style of celebration matches her personality perfectly. Booking was super easy though I recommend booking in advance. I was just about to get the big ya jet and as soon as I was about to pay, someone already took it and the rest of June was booked up in the afternoon so I got the morning slot which ended up being a blessing with this Texas heat! The Captain was nice but poor guy was drenched in sweat from the moment we saw him and through the entire trip. I mean soaking, dripping everywhere; I felt so bad for him. They definitely need misting fans. It was hot for us all. We were driven to Devils cove where everyone else was and immediately we said go some more private. That area was way too frat-like and we're sophisticated 30/40 year olds and weren't going to be tethered to a bunch of rowdy kids. It was a nice and relaxing trip. I like that you can BYOB/BYOF but it was so insanely hot, no one wanted to eat. They have coolers, fridges and floaties and speakers; just about everything you need. I had to knock off some stars because the boat didn't live up to my expectations. As other reviews mentioned, it smelled. I tried not to go into the below cabin much because it just smelled bad and I held my pee the entire time because I didn't want to even check out the bathroom. I'm very sensitive to smells so it was nauseating for me but I enjoyed my time mostly on the deck and floaties so it was fun. Overall it was a nice time and pretty smooth experience, but next time I'd book the bigger boat and I wouldn't book this smaller boat.

Party people, this one is for you! If you're looking for a party boat to rent out, Lake Travis Yacht Rentals is the one. Prices vary by size of the boat ranging from $550 - $1000, and all include a captain to rent for four hours (BYOB). We had a great time with our captain who was super laid back, but also knew when to be serious to enforce safety. Our boat took us out to Party Cove to anchor, where we linked up with other groups to party, and when the party was over, returned us back.

My group of family and friends had an absolute blast on the Golden Eye with Captain Neil. This was my second time with Lake Travis Yacht Rentals and I was lucky to get the same captain both times. I can't stress how taken care of we felt throughout the ride. Captain Neil communicated all details very well, helped us capture fantastic photos/videos, and facilitated a great time overall. Highly recommend this company given their consistent delivery of a safe and fun time :)

We had a blast celebrating my bach last weekend in Austin! Weather was pretty chilly for the day, but thankfully no rain and there were still many other boats out with different groups celebrating. We had Captain Raven with us and he was so friendly and fun to spend our time on the lake with! He helped us carry our cooler and made sure everyone stayed safe on the yacht. He was super chill and was game for how we wanted the trip to go. My friends and I had an amazing time despite the weather and will remember this experience forever!

Gave it one star because that's the lowest star they have... First of all I want to say thank you to Captain Neil for being courteous during our brief visit. My friends and I booked a boat with this company over the weekend. On the day of, and after we boarded the boat, it broke down before we even left the dock after so much wait and we had to offboard the boat. A couple of days later I received an email asking for a feedback so I provided my honest opinion politely, didn't really give it much thought and I thought that would be the end of it. Moments later some lady claiming to be the owner of the company called me and yelled at me. I'm saying like full blown yelling, even said "I'm sorry you don't understand mechanics." Wasn't really sure what the point of the call was but she was really really rude and didn't offer any sort of sympathy or apology. The cherry on the icing was, she hung up on me, then called me back, continued to yell at me!! I was driving at the time and was still in shock by the whole thing so I told her, I didn't see the point of the call and hung up on her second call. THEN this lady starts texting me! I explicitly asked her to stop harassing me and still kept texting me. I literally had to block her number to stop her. A little while later another guy named Jason calls me (with a different number) also claiming to the co owner of the company. As soon as he identified himself, I got nervous and asked him if he is going to yell at me to. He said no and continued to explain to me about his job, about boats, parts that broke on the days we chartered their boat. I'm wondering why I needed to know any of this and again why they even keep calling me. Nonetheless, I let him finish his thoughts and told him I had no intention leaving a review, I just responded to their feedback email they emailed me directly to my personal email address and didn't even give it a second thought. Told him I was just rattled by the fact that the lady called me out of nowhere and yelled at me. He never offers any form of apology or understanding and dismisses me and concludes the call. But I had a feeling that wouldn't be the end of it considering how abrupt this whole thing has been so I blocked his number too. (If you're reading this, I will take legal actions you if you or anyone from your company continue to harass me or contact me again) Long story short, not only they wasted our weekend but I got harassed and bullied by the very owner of the company. So moral of the story, I would definitely think twice before using their service and most certainly wouldn't not communicate with this outrageous lady. I'm honestly relieved it happened at the dock and can't image being stranded out on the lake in this weather. ** update since posting the above review( next day). Since I had blocked both these people's numbers, they called my friends and told them they are suing me for posting this review and responding to their solicited feedback email and been told to seek help for my anger issues and got called a liar, big no no in my books. I'm not sure where all of this coming from, I honestly didn't/ don't think any part of the review is out of line and just my personal unfortunate and honest experience with the business. - leaving this update here 'just incase' because I'm honestly concerned for my safety at this point. -He mentions below that he will be reviewing my previous reviews in my account and already knows where I work (how????) and live. I'm officially terrified he's stalking me. I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE! Please stop harassing me and my friends! I have told both of them to stop contacting me and they continue to find ways. I promise we will never ever use your services again. You win.

Our captain was amazing, the boat was nice, clean, and well-kept, and we all had an amazing time! The slide was for the slim-hipped, so some of us couldn't enjoy it, but I did, over and over. I recommend.

We had a great charter with Neil on the Goldeneye! He was very attentive with both my elderly parents and my teenagers. We never felt rushed and everyone loved the experience.

We had Captain Tristen, and he was absolutely great! Our group had such a great time and will definitely be doing this again.

Weekend charters and weeknight charters are available. Weeknight cruises can be a great opportunity to take a group of friends or clients to dinner at any of the restaurants on the lake, take in the evening sunset or even ask about a nighttime stargazing cruises!

Our rate is hourly with a minimum of 4 hours, right now we are doing a special for $600 per hour if you book through Instagram! Also the longer you want to be on the water the better the hourly rate! 6 hours is 550 per hour, 8 hours is 500 per hour! Captain and crew mate is included, our max capacity is 20 people.

Our 460 Sundancer has 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath, a 3 person couch below deck and single person lazy couch, sunbed, large sunbed on the top deck, seating along bow, kitchen, covered deck and covered drive station with co captain couch. This yacht will fit 20 people comfortably. Grab your crew for an evening cruise, daytime cruise or cruise to a cove to anchor up and swim, float, listen to music and have some fun in the sun! We provide a quality, safe and fun experience on Lake Travis, our 34ft Wellcraft Martinique has been very well maintained and can take up to 12 people on a very memorable trip to whatever part of the lake you’re interested in.

The boat has a queen bed, dining area, and kitchen down in the cabin, also a small bathroom if needed. There’s room for your personal items as well, We have a quality sound system that will easily Bluetooth to your smartphone too!

We are a drug free/smoke free environment, alcohol is fine but, we don’t allow any drugs, Travis County Sheriff lake patrol are our good friends and they come aboard to visit with us sometime.

Understanding the nuances of springtime fishing, including weather, water temperature, and water clarity, can significantly improve your chances of success for catching bass, panfish, trout, and other species. As the weather warms, these tips will help you choose the best times to fish, bait and tackle selection, and targeting techniques, along with helping you stay safe and comfortable on the water.

Target shallow, warm bays

In the spring, shallow bays become prime fishing spots as they are the first to warm up. The sun’s rays penetrate these shallow areas, heating the water and stimulating fish metabolism which leads them to be more aggressive. Due to their low draft, bass boats , smaller skiffs, and even pontoons are typically the most suitable types of boats for fishing shallow water.

Monitor water temperature.

Keep a close eye on changes in water temperature since they directly influence fish behavior. Different fish species have specific temperature preferences, so knowing the optimal range for a species can guide your strategy of which fish to target on either a given day, at different periods within the day, or in varying sections of a body of water. As temperatures rise, expect increased activity levels, particularly from species like largemouth bass , sunfish, and crappies, which may begin spawning once certain temperature thresholds are reached. Be weather-wise

Prepare for varying conditions by packing appropriate gear such as rain gear to shield against unexpected showers. On rough weather days, opt for fishing out of a larger boat for added safety and stability. Being prepared for adverse periods of weather frequently pays off in bites too… many anglers observe an increase in fish activity, especially surface action, during rain or the periods before rain showers when barometric pressure is dropping.

Adapt your tackle

Adjust your tackle selection based on water clarity and weather conditions. During rainy periods when water becomes murky, use tackle with vibrant colors or noise-producing features to increase visibility and attract fish attention. On the other hand, opt for darker baits in clear water to avoid spooking cautious fish. Additionally, incorporate search baits like shallow crankbaits, spinnerbaits, or chatterbaits to cover more water efficiently and you’ll have a better chance of locating active fish. Once fish are spawning and up on their beds, try downsizing and using smaller baits to entice more bites.

Moscow River

Moskva river has the form of a snake and is the main waterway of Moscow, consisting of a cascade of reservoirs. Within the city, Moskva river is 80 km long, 120 m - 200 m wide and up to 14 m deep. The narrowest part of the river is the Kremlin area in the city center, and the most extensive is around the Luzhniki Stadium in the south. 

Bridges in Moscow

Undoubtedly, bridges and embankments are among the most scenic spots and main attractions of Moscow. Plus, they are so romantic.

• Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge –  Great Stone Bridge –  is the main bridge of Moscow . The first stone bridge was constructed here in the 17th century.
• Patriarshy Bridge  is one of the youngest pedestrian bridges, built in 2004. The bridge connects the iconic Christ the Saviour Cathedral with funky Bersenevskaya embankment, extremely popular place among locals for its trendy art galleries, cafes and panoramic views. Patriarshy Bridge used to be a shooting location for ex-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's New Year speech to the nation.
• Borodinsky Bridge,  erected in honor of the 100th anniversary of the glorious victory in the Battle of Borodino (which every Russian kid knows about), a fierce legendary battle during the Russo-French war of 1812.
• Bagration Bridge  one of the  pedestrian bridges with most picturesque views of the Moskva River with its numerous upper-level observation platforms. The bridge was erected to celebrate the 850th anniversary of Moscow city in 1997.
• Krymsky Bridge  used to be in Top 5 Europe’s longest bridges some 100 years ago. The bridge got its name after the ancient Krymsky ford which Crimean Tartars used to invade Moscow in the 16 th  century.

Embankments of Moscow

Moscow river boats 37 embankments, the most popular being Kremlevskaya, Sofiyskaya, Pushkinskaya, Vorobyovskaya and Kolomenskaya.

You can get the most spectacular views of the Kremlin from  Kremlevskaya and Sofiyskaya embankments.

• Pushkinkaya embankment  is the most romantic in Moscow. It meanders along Gorky Park and Neskuchnyi garden and is rich for all kinds of entertainment as well as cozy nooks, including Olivkovy beach, the famous Zeleny theater as well as a pier for river cruisers.
• Vorobyevskaya embankment  is part of Sparrow Hills nature reserve. This place opens a beautiful panorama of the river and city from the observation deck and is considered to be the place for taking serious decisions in life.
• Embankment in Kolomenskoye  Museum-Reserve has a special charm due to its peculiar geographical relief. The boat trip around Kolomenskoye would be the most peaceful in your life.
• Taras Shevchenko embankment  is popular among photographers for its modern Moscow City skyscrapers. Highly recommended for your night boat trip.
• Embankments of Moscow are the pride of the capital. A distinctive feature of each of the promenades is its architecture and beautiful views. In addition, almost all the embankments of Moscow have a rich history and a lot of notable buildings.

Different epochs

Taking a walk along the Moskva River by boat, you will witness the architecture of Moscow from different eras and styles. Archaeological studies indicate that already in the XI century there stood a fortified settlement on Borovitsky hill, which is now called the Kremlin. Little fortress could not accommodate all the residents of the rapidly growing city, and the Grand Duke ordered the construction of a new Kremlin, larger than the former.

Boat trip around Kolomenskoe Park

Moscow river boat trip starts from the pier Klenovy (Maple) Boulevard and provides reat views of Nicholas Perervinsky monastery.

Nicholas Perervinsky monastery was founded at the time of the Battle of Kulikov (1380). The monastery, got its name from the surrounding area – “Pererva”, which can be translated like “tear off” and because of the location –  here it abruptly changed its course, turning to Kolomna, standing on the opposite bank.

Nowadays Kolomenskoye is State Art, Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve, which doors are open to everyone who wants to get in touch with the ancient history of Russia.

Take a break from the big city hustle in the shady parks and gardens of the Kolomenskoe Museum-Reserve. Don’t miss a wonderful Church of the Ascension and Tsar Alexey’s Palace in Kolomenskoye!

Monasteries and temples

• Novospassky Monastery
• Founded in the 13th century on the site where now is located the Danilovsky monastery. After a few decades, in 1330, Ivan Kalita moved the monastery onto the Borovitskii hill of the Kremlin. However, in the 15th century, Spassky Monastery again moved, this time to a more spacious place on Krasnoholmskaya waterfront.
• Church of St. Nicholas in Zayaitskom
• Erected in the middle of the XVIII century in baroque style. The building survived after the 1812 fire, but the utensils were destoyed. Parishioners collected donations and restored the temple on their own. In Soviet times, it was closed and re-opened only in 1992.
• Cathedral of Christ the Savior
• The church was originally erected in honor of the victory over Napoleon and was being under construction for long 44 years. Notoriously demolished in 1937 to be a giant swimming pool under open sky. The current building was constructed in 1990s. It is the tallest and one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world.
• The temple was built in 1679-82, during the reign of Tsar Fedor Alekseevich, in late Muscovite Baroque style and can be characterized as bonfire temple. Each gable is a symbol of a heavenly fire.
• Novodevichy Convent
• The most famous concent and monastery in Moscow, presumably founded in 1524. Novodevichy’s status has always been high among other monasteries, it was in this monastery where the women of the royal blood, the wives of Tsars and local rulers of Moscow were kept in prison as nuns.
• St. Andrew’s church  (male acts as Compound Patriarch of Moscow)
• St. Andrew’s church stands right on the slopes of the Sparrow Hills, on the way down to the Moskva River, on the territory of the Nature Reserve “Sparrow Hills”. The monastery is small in size but is very cozy. It’s situated in a quiet courtyard surrounded by temples, fruit trees and flowers.
