With the new boat, the Mariusz Sobusiak shipyard in Poland is targeting sporty ambitious people who do not want to chase after a busy regatt. This is represented by the light hull, a large and open cockpit and a powerful rig with plenty of sail area. The T-keel with lead bomb and the attached rudder are easy to catch up. This means that the Focus 750 can be easily transported on the trailer and can also be slipped over the ramp.

But also the touring suitability should not be neglected, despite the low freeboard height and the comparatively short cabin superstructure. Inside, the sporty Polish woman surprises with a generous interior design with four adequately sized berths, a small pantry module and, if desired, a chemical toilet. The workmanship is convincing down to the last detail.

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Classic hull speed formula:

Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL

Max Speed/Length ratio = 8.26 ÷ Displacement/Length ratio .311 Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL

Sail Area / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.

SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64) 2/3

• SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
• D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Ballast / Displacement * 100

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³

• D: Displacement of the boat in pounds.
• LWL: Waterline length in feet

Comfort Ratio

This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.

Comfort ratio = D ÷ (.65 x (.7 LWL + .3 LOA) x Beam 1.33 )

• D: Displacement of the boat in pounds
• LOA: Length overall in feet
• Beam: Width of boat at the widest point in feet

This formula attempts to indicate whether a given boat might be too wide and light to readily right itself after being overturned in extreme conditions. Read more.

The Focus 750 Performance is a shorthanded and family friendly racer-cruiser. The full crew for Focus 750 in inshore races is 3 or 4, but she can easily sail even solo. Under the deck of our new sailboat, 4 persons sleep comfortably and she offers everything you need for a weekend or longer cruise. A new Focus 750 is a modern sailing yacht, equipped with very efficient low aspect sails to compete in the regattas or to experience the comfortable life of a family cruise in total safety.

Modern design

Focus 750 Performance was created for sailors looking for a unique, modern but functional daily cruiser – recer for short handed crews. Clean connection of the hull with the deck, chined hull, low profile haches, folding cleats, deck line cover, improve the design of the boat and make it very funtional.

The Focus 750 is easy to trail because of its weight and dimensions.  She is well adapted for the land transport. Being  2.50 m wide and with the weight just over 1.3 t., she can be trailed upright and even slip-launched. Thanks to a lifting  keel, removable rudder blade and a system to hoist the mast without the crane the boat can be transport even by the family car.

Lifting keel  

Lifting keel and retractable rudder also allow Focus 750 to reach parts of the sea that are usually reserved for much smaller boats. The boat is produced in 3 options: lifting heavy daggerboard (cat. C), lifting keel with bulb and fixed keel (cat. B)

Slip easly  

You don’t need a crane to launch  the Focus 750. The lifting keel and our mast lowering system makes you free and independent.  You can launch the boat directly from the trailer and set the mast easly .

The hull and deck is infused with a high quality vinylester resin using  Vacuum assisted infusion lamination technology  and multidirectional fiberglass to improve the strength, stiffness and reduce weight.

Chined hull

Chined hull  improves directional stability and increase internal volume and space under the deck. When the boat is heeled the yacht reaches an optimum underwater hull shape with a small wetted surface. The benefit is a yacht that is incredibly forgiving and will allow you to get away with being hit by a strong gust of wind, or becoming overpowered without having to reduce sail in a hurry. Optional twin rudder system provides better control especially when heeled and reduce the tendency to broach.

Mit dem neuen Boot richtet sich die Bauwerft von Mariusz Sobusiak in Polen an sportlich Ambitionierte, die auch bei einer stark besetzten Regatta nicht hinterhersegeln wollen. Dafür stehen der leichte Rumpf, ein großes und offenes Cockpit sowie ein leistungsstarkes Rigg mit reichlich Segelfläche. Der T-Kiel mit Bleibombe sowie das angehängte Ruder sind leicht aufholbar. Damit ist die Focus 750 ohne Weiteres auf dem Trailer transportierbar und kann zudem über die Rampe geslippt werden.

Aber auch die Tourentauglichkeit soll nicht zu kurz kommen, trotz der niedrigen Freibordhöhe und des vergleichsweise kurzen Kajütaufbaus. Innen überrascht die sportliche Polin mit einem durchaus großzügig gestalteten Innenausbau mit vier ausreichend dimensionierten Kojen, einem kleinen Pantrymodul und auf Wunsch mit einer Chemie-Toilette. Die Verarbeitung überzeugt bis ins Detail.

Segeleinsteiger, die einen kleinen Kajütkreuzer einer offenen Kielyacht vorziehen, segeln mit der Focus 750 richtig.

Das erste Boot vergisst man nie! Und daher muss es gut sein! float stellt jede Woche ein Einsteiger-Segelboot vor, das drei Dinge vereint: Es hält etwas aus, bietet Stabilität, hat einen Kiel und eventuell sogar eine kleine Kajüte. Einige sind zudem trailerbar – das macht unabhängig vom Liegeplatz-Mangel .

Wen sprechen wir an? Keine absoluten Anfänger! Sondern alle, die das Segeln bereits in Grundzügen beherrschen. Und somit Erfahrungen besitzen – sei es durch den Erwerb eines Segelscheines in der Segelschule oder beim Mitsegeln mit Freunden.

Was kostet das? Leider immer mehr. Auf Neubauten wartet man aktuell häufig bis zu einem Jahr. Weil das vielen zu lange dauert, steigen auch die Gebrauchtboot-Preise permanent. Die Kosten für den Einstieg mit dem eigenen Boot lassen sich im Übrigen drücken, wenn man viel selbst macht. Das heißt: Wer handwerkliche Fähigkeiten hat, kann viel Geld sparen.

Wichtig: Die hier getroffene Auswahl erhebt keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit. Zu groß ist das Angebot an Neu- und Gebrauchtbooten. Wir wollen lediglich zeigen, wohin die Reise auf See und Meer gehen kann.

Eine gute Größe für Einsteiger

Polen, das Land der tausend Seen. Kein Wunder, dass gerade bei unserem östlichen Nachbarn der Markt kleinerer Yachten viel zu bieten hat. Leicht zu handhaben und unter Deck so umfangreich ausgestattet, um auch einmal mit einer kleinen Familie für einige Tage auf Törn gehen zu können.

Die Sobusiak Bootswerft aus Łódź hat drei Kreuzermodelle von 7,30 bis 8,00 Meter Länge im Angebot. Eine gute Größe für Segeleinsteiger bietet nach Aussagen des Werftbesitzers Mariusz Sobusiak die Focus 750 in der Cruiser-Version, die ideale Voraussetzungen für dieses Klientel.

Die Focus 750 ist nach seiner Auskunft vor allem in Segelschulen in Deutschland und der Schweiz im Einsatz. Das Boot wird in drei Optionen hergestellt: mit Schwert (für die CE-Kategorie C) sowie Hubkiel mit Wulst und Festkiel, was der CE-Kategorie B für den Einsatz in küstenfernen Gewässern entspricht.

Maststellen mit Körperkraft

Vier Personen können unter Deck schlafen. Mit dem optionalen Familienpaket bietet sie alles, was man für ein Wochenende oder einen längeren Törn benötigt. Zum Mastlegen und -aufstellen benötigt man keinen Kran, nur die eigene Körperkraft und den Einsatz des angebotenen Mastlift-Systems. Innerhalb von nur 45 Minuten, so Sobusiak, ist die Focus vom Trailer runter und liegt segelbereit im Wasser.

Der kleine Kreuzer ist aufgrund des Gewichts und seiner Abmessungen leicht zu trailern und kann auch mit einem normalen PKW gezogen werden. Dank Hubkiel und einziehbarem Ruder können auch Gebiete angesteuert werden, die sonst nur viel kleineren Booten vorbehalten sind.

Sandwich-Rumpf spart Gewicht

Sowohl Rumpf als auch Deck sind in Sandwich-Bauweise aus multidirektionalem Fiberglas – also biaxial und triaxial – mit Schaumstoffkern hergestellt. Das sorgt für einen festen und verwindungsarmen Korpus und spart an Gewicht.

Das große, offene Cockpit ist achtern dem Skipper vorbehalten. Vorn ist ausreichend Platz für die übrige Crew. Unter Deck sorgt helles Holz und der dunkle Fußboden für einen schönen optischen Kontrast.

Im Salon können die Sitzbänke zu zwei Betten umfunktioniert werden. Eine Koje im V-Format für zwei Personen befindet sich im Vorschiff. Zum Familienpaket gehört eine kleine Kombüse, ein Tisch (einsetzbar innen und außen) und eine Toilette. In Polen, so erfuhr ich von einem Bootshändler, hat jeder noch so kleine Kreuzer seinen separaten Toilettenraum. Gut so! Man weiß hier eben um die alltäglichen Bedürfnisse von Seglern – und von Seglerinnen.

Hajózás 2-4 fős családok számára

A Focus 750 egy nagy teljesítményű, gyors és családbarát egykezes vitorlás tágas cockpit-tel. Versenyhajóként a Focus 750 személyzetigénye 3 vagy 4 fő, de egyedül is könnyedén vitorlázható. Kabinjában négyen is kényelmesen alhatnak. A választható Családi csomag pedig mindent extrát biztosít, amitől egy hétvégi vitorlázás vagy egy nagyobb túra is tökéletes élménnyé válik.

Regatták és versenyek

REGATTÁK és VERSENYEK – Nincs szüksége másik hajóra a regattákhoz és a versenyekhez. A Sport csomag segítségével a FOCUS 750 egy 48 négyzetméteres gennakkerrel is felszerelhető. A hajó átalakítható ORC és Yardstick Regatta versenyekhez is.

Hétvégi vitorlázás

A hajó tartható kikötőben vagy otthon, tréleren. Kis súlyának és a 2,5 méteres útszélességének köszönhetően egyszerűen vontatható. A hajó sólyapályán könnyen vízre bocsátható. A hajó árbocleeresztő rendszerének köszönhetően maximum 45 perc alatt eljut a trélertől a vízre. A hajó így tökéletes választás a kikötőhellyel nem rendelkezők számára is.

HAJÓSBARÁT – Egyszerűen kezelhető és kiismerhető. A hajó mind a vízen, mind a szárazföldön egyszerűen kezelhető. A felemelhető tőkesúly segítségével a sekély vizekben is remekül elboldogul akár 50 cm-es vízmélység mellett is. A chinned hajótest javítja az iránystabilitást és hihetetlenül könnyen irányíthatóvá teszi a hajót.

A Focus 750 szemet gyönyörködtető kialakítása a cég és a Klaudia Meisel Design együttműködésének köszönhető. A fedélzet íve harmóniában áll a gondosan megtervezett, ergonómikus kivitelezéssel, amit különösen a hölgyek értékelnek nagyra.

Modern design

A Focus 750-et olyan hajósok számára hoztuk létre, akik egyedi, modern, de funkcionális vitorlást, vagy egykezes versenyhajót keresnek. A hajótest akadálytalan összekapcsolása a fedélzettel, a chinned hajótesttel, az alacsony profilú nyílásokkal, az összecsukható kapcsokkal, a fedélzet fedelével javítja a hajó kialakítását és fokozottan funkcionálissá teszi azt.

Könnyen sólyázható

A Focus 750 vízre sólyázásához nincs szükség darura. A felhúzható tőkesúlynak és az árbocleeresztő rendszernek köszönhetően, akár 1 ember is vízre bocsájthatja. A vitorlás, az árboc egyszerű felállítása után akár közvetlenül a trélerről vízre bocsátható.

Felhúzható vagy fix tőkesúly

A felhúzható tőkesúly és kormánylapát lehetővé teszi, hogy akár sekély vizekben is használható legyen. A vitorlást háromféle változatban gyártjuk: felhúzható uszonnyal (C kat.), felhúzható bulbás tőkesúllyal, és fix tőkesúllyal (B kat.)

Kényelmes kabin

A világos színű fa és a sötét padló kontrasztja lenyűgöző hatást kelt, és világossá teszi a belső teret. A kabinban két kanapéágy és egy dupla V-ágy biztosít kényelmes fekvőhelyet akár 4 személy számára is, konyhával, belső és külső asztallal, és a Családi csomagban WC-vel felszerelve. A Focus 750 versenyzési vagy kedvetelési célú vitorlázásra egyaránt jól testreszabható.

Technológia

Mind a hajótest, mind a fedélzet szendvicsszerkezettel, többirányú üvegszál (BIAXIAL, TRIAXIAL) felhasználásával, valamint habmaggal készül a szilárdság, a merevség és a súly csökkentése érdekében.

Nagy, nyitott cockpit

A nagyméretű, kényelmes cockpit-en jól elkülönítve kapott helyet a kapitány és a személyzet számára fenntartott tér.

A tervezés fő szempontja a kényelem

Chinned hajótest

Jobb iránystabilitás, nagyobb kabin és fedélzet alatti terület tárolók.

A vízretételhez nincs szükség darura. Közvetlenül a trélerről vízre bocsátható.

Árbóc leeresztő rendszer

Az árboc állításához és döntéséhez nincs szükség darura. Elég hozzá egyetlen ember.

Kis súlya és méretei miatt könnyű vontatni akár egy személyautóval is.

Felhúzható tőkesúly

Akár 50cm-es vízben is hajózhatunk.
