of socializing. All other cabins feature en-suite facilities. REVERIE can carry

luxuriating in the sun after a light lunch. Guests can gather on the large

sundeck for more alfresco dining options, to relax on the sunbeds, or to soak

REVERIE’s high performance and

state-of-the-art technology promise to excite yachting enthusiasts, while her

extensive collection of toys and tenders will satisfy even the most energetic.

Her full-displacement hull and stabilizers at anchor and underway minimize roll

while her twin Caterpillar 750hp engines propel her to a top speed of 16.5

knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The swim platform is located below the

main deck aft, where guests can make use of the Jet Skis, wakeboards, water

skis, SeaBobs, paddleboards, multiple towables, kayaks, and yacht swing. For

A General Description of Motor Yacht REVERIE

Benetti Yachts finished building motor yacht REVERIE in 2000. As such, she is built in Italy. REVERIE had her design created by Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci and Fratelli Benetti. This superyacht REVERIE can sleep overnight a maximum of 26 aboard and in addition to 28 professional crew. Christened in 2000 this boat’s internal styling reveals the scope which are originating from John Munford and the owner who commissioned the yacht.

Building & Designing for Luxury Yacht REVERIE

Fratelli Benetti was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical design work for REVERIE. Also the company Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci expertly collaborated on this project. Interior designer John Munford was commissioned for the creative internal styling. In 2000 she was actually launched to accolade in Viareggio and following sea trials and detailing was thereafter passed on to the new owner. Benetti Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made for the most part with aluminium. With a beam of 12.5 metres / 41 ft REVERIE has beamy size. She has a deep draught of 3.14m (10.3ft). She had refit improvement and modification undertaken by 2007.

Engineering And The Speed That M/Y REVERIE is Capable Of:

The 3516B engine installed in the motor yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. She is driven by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship creates 2000 horse power (or 1491 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The sum output for the boat is 4000 HP / 2982 KW.

On board Superyacht REVERIE She Caters For The Following Guest Accommodation Format:

Bestowing volume for a maximum of 26 yacht guests sleeping aboard, the REVERIE accommodates them luxuriously. Under normal conditions she utilises approximately 28 capable yacht crew to operate.

An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Reverie has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these are waterslides letting guests speed from the sun deck to the water in seconds. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Only the finest components like Dupont Kevlar, CoreCell and enginering construction fabrics are specified for the hull, deck and superstructure of the Marlow Explorer. Vinylester and Epoxy resins and glues are used throughout. Only top quality mechanical components like Aquadrive constant velocity joints, Tides seals, Trace inverters are used. On the lovely hand finished interior quality brands like Sub Zero, Dacor, Asko, Bosch, Franke, Grohe and similar are found. Fine fabrics of Ultraleather and other top brands grace the interior. The result is reminiscent of an era when quality, not quantity was the hallmark of a fine yacht.

$10 million price cut on Benetti's 70m superyacht Reverie at OCI

Almost a year to the day since I reported that the 70m motor yacht Reverie had come on the market with Michael White and Peter Thompson at Ocean Independence , comes news of a $10 million price reduction.

At the time of her build in 2000 she was the largest superyacht by tonnage built by Benetti and, despite her size, Reverie sleeps just 12 guests for charter in eight cabins with a further two cabins available for personal staff. A major attraction though, is that she can accommodate 18 to 24 guests for private use.

Internally, her six decks (all united by a lift) include one that is largely devoted to the owner. This includes a master suite that revels in a magnificent bedroom with panoramic forward views over the private terrace, sumptuous his and hers bathrooms and vast walk-in dressing rooms. The deck also offers two further family cabins (each with a double and a single bed), a study, an owner’s saloon and a circular inside-outside dining room.

Of the remaining guest cabins, four are identically sized double cabins with en suite bathrooms situated on the lower deck and an impressive VIP cabin, which occupies the forward element of the main deck superstructure.

Lying in Genoa, Reverie is now asking $65 million.

+ SABRE 38 MK II - REVERIE - WALKTHROUGH

The spacious cockpit features seating for 7. The helm includes a suede wrapped destroyer wheel, magnetic compass, Autohelm instrument pod and engine controls. A folding table and cup holder are mounted on the front of helm pedestal. Stereo speakers are found under the aft seating. The engine gauge panel is mounted on the port side with a manual bilge pump opposite.

Two Lewmar 43 2-speed winch and two electric Lewmar 54 2-speed self-tailing winch for foresail trim are mounted on the cockpit coamings. Running rigging trim is managed by two Lewmar 30 winchs on the port cabin top, with a Lewmar 24 and an electric Lewmar 40 on the starboard cabin top.

Storage lockers are found at the transom, port and starboard and undeath the starboard seating. The CNG locker is on the starboard side.

The cockpit is protected from the sun and sea by a Bimini top.

Moving forward the deck is protected by stainless steel stern and bow rails connected by dual lifelines running the length of the deck; stainless steel gates are found at the cockpit. Teak hand holds run along the cabin top, port and starboard. An anchor locker is found at the bow along with a bow mounted QCR anchor. The Lewmar electric windless is mounted in the anchor locker. Four Dorade vents are mounted on the cabin top and cleats are found at the bow and stern.

The dual spreader, masthead sloop rig features a roller furled headsail and in-boom furled main sail with a mechanical boom vang and a hydraulic back stay tensioner. The main sheet is mounted on the cabin top and all running rigging leads aft to the cockpit.

Appointed with teak joinery, a teak and holly sole, overhead hatches and portlights, the roomy salon is warm, bright and inviting.

Entering the salon from the cockpit the galley is found to port and the head to starboard. The aft cabin is accessed through the aft bulkhead on the port side and the forward cabin through the forward bulkhead. Seating is provided by a L shaped settee on the port side and a straight settee to starboard. The nav station is found on the starboard side aft. A large fold away table is mounted on the forward bulkhead. Hand holds run the length of the salon on the port and starboard sides. A TV is mounted above the starboard settee with stereo speakers mounted on the fore and aft starboard bulkheads.

Storage lockers run the length of the salon. Additional storage found beneath and behind the settees.

Lighting is found overhead along with three opening hatches and four dorade vents. Additional ventilation is provided by a fan, air conditioning and four opening ports, with two fixed ports providing even more light.

NAV STATION:

The aft facing nav station is found on the starboard side of the main cabin, just forward of the head and features a chart table with lift top, bench seating and a chart light. The electrical panels are found at the nav station, along with a vhf radio, stereo system, VHS player, radar control panel, autohelm control, generator control panel battery charger control panel, battery bank switch, 12 vdc plug and a 120 vac outlet.

The L shaped galley features a four burner stove with oven mounted in the port side countertop. Four lockers are found above the counter, along with a 120 vac receptacle. A large top access refrigerator/freezer is found under the counter forward of the stove. A double stainless steel sink with hot and cold running water is mounted in a counter extending from the port side counter to midship. A top access trash bin is located next to the sink with a storage locker and three drawers underneath.

The aft cabin is found off the galley on the port side aft. It features teak joinery, a teak and holly sole, and a double berth. Upon entering there is a bench seat on the port side with hanging locker behind. Lockers extend the length of the cabin on the port side. The berth, that extends to the aft bulkhead under the cockpit. Ventilation is provided by three opening ports, an overhead hatch, and a fan. A reading lamps is mounted on the starboard side with a light found overhead and a 120 vac plug under the berth. A fixed port light provides additional light to the cabin.

FORWARD CABIN:

Located forward of the main cabin, this cabin features teak joinery, a teak and holly sole and a V-berth for two. Upon entering the cabin there is a hanging locker on the starboard side with a built in table top featuring top and bottom access lockers and a 120 vac outlet. Opposite on the port side there is a stainless steel sink and a seat with a built in table top behind and a locker above. Shelving runs the length of the cabin on the port and starboard sides. There are two overhead lamps and two 120 vac outlets. Ventilation is provided by an opening overhead hatch, two portlights, a fan and airconditioning.

HEAD:

Located on the starboard side aft, the head doubles as a shower. Upon entering the sink and manual marine toilet are found on the starboard side. There are storage lockers above/behind the sink and head. Another storage locker is found aft of the head along with the shower controls and wand and a small bench. A shower curtain hangs on the port side from a track that incircles the head. Mirrors are mounted on the port bulkhead and the door. There is an opening portlight, fixed port and an opening hatch overhead. Lighting is provided by a light over sink.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

The engine compartment is found under the cockpit companionway stairs. Forward access is provided by raising the stairs, top, side and aft access is found in the aft cabin.

"Reverie" is a beautiful and properly maintained Ranger R31-S. The owners have looked after every aspect of the vessel to keep it in near Bristol condition.

Like most Ranger R-31’s "Reverie" came from the builder virtually “Turn key”, purposefully designed and outfitted for cruising the waters of the Pacific Northwest, with standard equipment that’s usually found on much larger trawlers. It also offers the advantage with it's 10’ beam of being trailer able, so your pilothouse trawler can transported wherever your dreams take you.

The Ranger R31S also offers some creative and innovative ideas, such as a foredeck hide-a-way settee with table and the cockpit seating that folds out of the gunwale. Creative and Innovative ideas can be found through the vessel.

Accommodations and layout design include, a forward stateroom with a large double bed and ensuite head, an aft double berth and toilet, a open smartly designed main salon that offers plenty of seating, a fully equipped galley and a helm station with Captain & Admiral seats. The vessels interior is wrapped in satin finished teak with teak and holly floors.
