Located in Delran, NJ, Clarks Landing Yacht Club is a part of the collection of premier New Jersey wedding venues that make up the Clarks Landing Yacht Group. Operator George Truesdale brings an exquisite outdoor waterfront that is only twenty minutes outside of Philadelphia to local brides. In 1996, General Manager Luca Longhi joined the passionate Clarks Landing Team, and the team has proudly grown under his direction! Above all, Clarks Landing prides itself on stress-free planning and meticulous attention to detail for all couples. WATERFRONT VIEWS & ELEGANT ROOMS

It is no wonder that Clarks Landing has became a welcoming spot for not only weddings, but for families to spend their time together boating, fishing, swimming and more with its scenic waterfront and pier! The scene is the perfect spot to take photos and host a garden ceremony that overlooks the incredible Delaware River. Along with the waterfront, the outside garden area with a gazebo and seasonal flowers fits any wedding day theme. In addition, the venue features an inviting bridal suite, rustic cocktail room, and of course, the luxurious Grand Ballroom!

BUT FIRST, COCKTAILS 

Right from the beginning, guests are welcomed in to cocktail hour with refreshing drinks and delectable hors d’oeuvres. Chef Hassan, the culinary genius behind all of Clarks Landing’s venues, carefully customizes the food and drink experience for your celebration. Upon entering the Grand Ballroom, you can rest assured that the Chef has a delicious dinner and unique dessert display just waiting to enhance the evening! 

REAL SPRING WEDDINGS

A Yacht Club wedding in the springtime air? Yes, please! We wanted to shine the spotlight on two spring weddings celebrated at the beautiful Clarks Landing in Delran. First, let’s reminisce on  Alicia and Vincent’s sunflower-filled celebration last March! Their wedding could not have been more perfect for the season with sunflowers and royal blue tones. To begin her day on a sweet note, Alicia and her bridesmaids shared drinks and donuts. They all anticipated the day’s festivities and all of the fun memories they will have to look back on forever! Following the ceremony, Alicia and Vincent kicked off their reception party. As you can see, their happiness and radiant energy all night shined brighter than the vibrant sunflowers!

Another worthy Clarks Landing Delran Wedding Photos mention is especially reserved for Juliana and Asa ! Their April wedding had all of the garden and floral vibes that the spring weather craves! In particular, their ceremony alter was lined with greenery and featured colorful tulips! Also, the bride’s beautiful pink and purple bouquet only added to the vivid wedding color palette. Throughout their entire wedding experience, you could tell these newlyweds brought tied in their fun personalities to the decorations and more. Specifically, they had a super hero inspired cake with Batman’s logo front and center! We absolutely adored spending the day with these two cuties in love.

REAL SUMMER WEDDINGS

As these two spring weddings had all of the stunning color themes of spring,  Katie and Michael’s wedding tied in a unique nautical theme for the summer! Seriously, this is totally worthy of our Pinterest  boards. Coral flowers and cobalt blue bridesmaid dresses were the perfect choices for it. The Grand Ballroom was all decked out with anchors and sea decorations. For example, their cake had an anchor cake topper and blue chevron pattern to resemble the water! What made this wedding even more immaculate? The gorgeous summer pier at Clarks Landing Delran as a photo backdrop, of course!

Next, Amanda and Chris’ summer wedding is another that you will want to save summer theme inspiration for! This couple chose to incorporate teal blue, pink and orange florals, starfish, and more to fit their beach and ocean theme. Their intimate portrait session took place on the pier with the sunlight shining down on them both. They took candid photos sneaking a kiss and holding each other tight. At their reception, they had a sandcastle wedding cake and ice cream sundae bar, which was everything you could want for a summer wedding! Moreover, they even provided fun bright blue colored “Clark-tails” to all guests as a pun on their last name!

REAL AUTUMN WEDDINGS

Weren’t those spring and summer weddings just so beautiful? Well, you are about to fall head over heels for these real fall weddings, too! First up, Alicia and Nathan tied the knot (literally, they brought two ropes to do so!) on a crisp October afternoon beside the waterfront and striking magenta flowers. Guests were led by a lovely framed chalkboard welcome sign to take their garden seats. At last, the happy couple promised to love each other forever and were eager to celebrate that. We loved seeing the cute details throughout the Grand Ballroom that they picked for their wedding such as their fun motorcycle topper on their cake!

Last but not least, we cannot forget about Diana and Sam’s November wedding day! They had a similar magenta color palette for their wedding just like Alicia and Nathan did. Our NJ Wedding Photographer  made sure to get even the small detail shots on camera, such as their names written in cursive on a white pumpkin! Furthermore, their sweetheart table displayed autumn mums and a “Mr. and Mrs.” banner.  The adorable newlyweds spent the remainder of their wedding night dancing across the ballroom and enjoying Chef Hassan’s yummy foods prepared for everyone in attendance!

About Joyce and Sebastian’s wedding day held at Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, New Jersey

The happy couple started off their day getting ready at Springhill Suites in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Here I started photographing bridal details such as the wedding dress, jewelry and accessories, shoes and other cute items that Joyce and her bridesmaids had so generously gathered for me. After finishing with details, I hopped right into documenting the girls doing their hair and makeup. Sebastian and his boys were right down the hall in another separate suite, which made it incredibly easy for me to bounce back and forth between rooms in order to get all the coverage I needed.

Every time I document the start of a wedding day, I always make sure to stay silent and unobtrusive. This allows the women to feel at ease with my presence and to relax and be themselves. I want your natural personalities to shine through in your photographs and staying out of the way and hidden is a perfect way to accomplish this. After we finished with the getting ready portion of their wedding day, we all hopped in our cars and headed straight to St. Casimir Church in Riverside, New Jersey.

I always leave the hotel a bit really so I can arrive at church in time to setup my photography gear and capture the bride coming out of her limo. Normally the bride is accompanied by her father into the church. This is a very nice little moment that no photographer should miss. Upon the guests arriving, I always photograph lots of reactions. This is the first time of the day that family members will be seeing each other and these kinds of photos always make for some nice emotion. The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony went off without even the slightest issue. After the church service was finished we quickly started with family group photographs. Once we finished with all the photos we had on our list, the couple and their families went for a short break before we all headed to Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Delran, New Jersey.

Once we arrived at the Clarks Landing wedding venue, we started with creative photographs of the bride and groom. I took the happy couple around the property and quickly and easily captured a ton of really great photographs. On a wedding day, you want to be as efficient as you possibly can be. Shoot each pose/scenario with purpose and waste no time with complicated lighting setups that yield less than stellar results. After the bride and groom were fully satisfied, I completed some really fun bridal party group photos before we all headed back inside for a special Chinese Tea Ceremony.

This tea ceremony yielded a ton of really great emotional moments. I was able to easily capture photo after photo of family members presenting the bride and groom with intimate, special gifts. I love real moments like this at a wedding day where the bride, groom and their family members let their guards down and allow themselves to be emotional with one and other. I have to admit it brings a tear to my eye when I watch moment’s like these.

After their tea ceremony was complete, cocktail hour began. During this hour, I quickly photographed the ballroom , any and all remaining details and setup my photography gear before their reception began. Their party was an absolute blast. First dances, speeches and toasts all went perfectly. The DJ did a great job and kept the crowd really dancing all night long. At the end of their evening Sebastian and Joyce took part in a wonderful little new tradition called The Shoe Game. The couple is asked random questions about their relationship and depending upon their answers, they hold up either the left or right shoe. One for the bride answer and one for the groom answer. This game really makes for some hilarious outcomes.

At the end of their reception I thanked the bride and groom for allowing me the pleasure and honor of documenting their wedding day. I also make sure to congratulate the parents and say thank you to them as well. Overall, Joyce & Sebastian’s wedding day was a great success. I wish the happy couple nothing but health, happiness and many years of love.
