The exterior design of the Navetta 28 bears the hallmark of Fulvio De Simoni’s style and of his innate ability to sharpen the contrast between soft, curvy lines and huge glazed surfaces that endow this with unique strength and character. The Navetta 28 stands out for her incredibly airy interiors and exteriors.

A FULLY-CUSTOM LAYOUT

This model’s fully-custom layout allows the Owner maximum freedom of choice . Outdoor areas can be enjoyed at best both when cruising and at anchor. A large flybridge devised as an open-air living space, and a huge bow area on the main deck offer guests great spaciousness and unmatched liveability, maximizing onboard volumes being always a key objective. Wide glazed surfaces characterize this yacht, ensuring incomparably close contact with the surrounding landscape and offering guests amazing views. Always looking to allow for maximum customization of both interiors and exteriors, the Owner will be able to choose between 5 or 6 cabins and decide whether to have the master stateroom on the upper deck or on the main deck – both offering a privileged position to enjoy fantastic panoramic views while cruising

PERFORMANCES AND RANGE

Two 800 hp engines will push this yacht to a maximum speed of 14.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Increased onboard comfort is ensured by the stabilizing fins. Navetta 28’s most impressive feature, however – as is the case on all other models in the N range -, is her outstanding range of 3,000 nautical miles, resulting in total freedom, absolute relaxation, minimum fuel consumption, and maximum environmental friendliness.

ABOUT CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 28

The Navetta 28 is one of the legacy models that made the reputation of Custom Line in the high volume superyacht world. She offers an array of amenities traditionally seen on yachts well over the 100′ including a master suite on the main deck, a large sundeck and a large swim platform. She accommodates up to 10 guests in the utmost luxury across 5 ensuite. 

Her interior design was created by the Dutch designer Eric Kuster, who collaborated closely with Centro Stile Ferretti Group and Studio Zuccon International Project, and has an abundance of luxurious materials and furnishings. The yacht’s furnishings are a deft blend of Northern European and Italian styles, with several things designed by Kuster himself.

The bar area on the main deck, in conjunction with the magnificent circular sliding glazing system, transforms the upper deck into a vast open space overlooking the water, which connects the panoramic cockpit to the living space located amidships.

The sun deck, a private space allocated solely for the owner and his guests, has also been modified by moving the temperature-controlled Jacuzzi aft, as opposed to front.

Filippetti Yacht, when grace meets vigour: here is the Navetta 28

After almost a year of intense work to expand its range of displacement yachts, Filippetti Yacht unveils the Navetta 28 concept to the public. This latest creation from the Mondolfo-based shipyard confirms the special features of the range, such as great cruising range and compliance with environmental sustainability criteria.

Navetta 28 is another Made in Italy nautical gem and – we expect – will certainly be one of the jewels to talk about at the Miami International Boat Show . Filippetti Yacht will be present in the DG Dock at this overseas event with the 55 Sport, which is increasingly winning over the American market with her sporty, elegant lines. During the boat show it will also be possible to meet the CEO, Giovanni Filippetti, who has confirmed his presence for the entire event.

Navetta 28 is a spectacular superyacht with an overall length of 27.65 meters, a beam of seven and four decks. But what stands out most are the superbly crafted proportions, expressing overall splendid grace and vigour.

Overall, the family feeling of the famous N series , which is always the hallmark of Filippetti Yacht, persists. But when it comes to aesthetics, the Navetta 28’s geometries have been lightened and she is more streamlined on the water. The final effect confirms the imperious forms typical of this type of boats, but cancels out its sometimes awkward appearance.

This is because Navetta 28 is a full-fledged member of the range of displacement yachts built by Cantiere Filippetti , but Fulvio De Simoni ‘s pencil has managed to fascinate connoisseurs by going further. How? By eliminating, we repeat, the effect that weighs everything down and forgetting the rough shapes we see elsewhere in the market segment.

Lightness and vigour come together in a harmonious encounter. And it is almost a balance of opposites. The imposing vertical glass surfaces dominate the rest of the structure. “ Fulvio De Simoni has an innate ability to enhance contrasts ,” explain the shipyard, and how could he not be right?

The outdoor areas of the Navetta 28 are designed to enhance the full enjoyment of cruising and moments of relaxation when at anchor. The Fly deck is very large and can be summed up as a veritable terrace overlooking the sea, open to 360 degrees. From up here, everything is at its best to enjoy breath-taking views.

Moreover, the sundeck is extremely functional and separates slightly into its own rationalised geometry, rising above the small quarters in front. The aim is to guarantee a certain amount of privacy (always appreciated) even during mooring manoeuvres.

If you look carefully, this main deck is a truly imposing bow area , useful for welcoming guests who take advantage of a maximisation of space that has been taken to the top.

Truly bespoke

So much freedom means the owner gets his superyacht, almost like a bespoke suit and, as Giovanni Filippetti explains: “This is a real rarity for a yacht of just 28 metres”.

It all adds up to the sense of freedom that the owner craves: he can choose to have five or six cabins and as many facilities. The owner can choose to have five or six cabins and as many en-suite facilities, and can also choose to have the master suite on the upper deck, while enjoying a sea view during the cruise.

The Navetta 28 is powered by two 800hp MAN engines. And it’s all sacred power that contributes to a cruising speed of 13 knots, the top speed being 14.5 knots. One curiosity: this superyacht has stabilizing fins installed for maximum on-board comfort.

As for the boat’s homologation and category, Navetta 28 has RINA CE – A . The fuel tanks have a capacity of 20,500 liters. This means that her cruising range is as high as 3,000 nautical miles, for endless cruises in search of freedom.

Her top speed is 16 knots, while cruising at 13.5 knots, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 1400 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from twin 1200 Hp MAN diesel engines.

The CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 28 is recognizable from the unmistakable exterior profile and the panoramic dining area with round glass sliding doors which allow for great flexibility in the use of the upper deck. The large sunbathing area is a comfortable sundeck, which is fitted with a Jacuzzi tub and awning.

Her dual-mode transom (DMT), patented by Ferretti, can be folded down to make a beach area, while a section of teak deck can be unshipped from the roof of the garage and slotted in to almost double the beach area’s size. To launch the tender, the hatch opens upwards. The aft platform lowers into the water, flooding the stern dock, while a supporting cradle descends and the tender floats free. This impressively creative piece of engineering is worthy of a Superyacht twice the 28’s size.

The new Fulvio de Simoni- designed Navetta 28 is currently in development at Filippetti Yachts .

The 27.6 metre yacht will offer a fully-customisable interior configuration that allows the client to tailor the yacht and create a “perfect balance of style and maximum use of space,” according to the yard.

The yacht will be characterised by long segments of glazing which contribute to light and airy interiors and promote a sense of connection to the surroundings. 

Opportunities for customisation present themselves in the choice between a five or six-cabin layout and the option to position the owner’s cabin on the upper deck or on the main deck.

The Navetta 28 will be crowned by a generous fly bridge that also benefits from a social seating area. The foredeck volunteers an additional spot for guests to soak up the sun.

Fulvio de Simoni has given the yacht a sporty flair which is balanced by an impressive 3,000 nautical mile range.

Power will come from a pair of 800 hp engines that allow for maximum speeds of 14.5 knots that can be trimmed back to 13 knots of cruising speed.

The newest model forms part of the Filippetti’s N series. The line has been designed to appeal to owners who enjoy cruising longer distances in elegantly-styled spaces that feel at one with the environment.

Meanwhile at the yard, the F100 is under construction and expected to make a splash in spring 2023.

This control can also be extended to other areas on the yacht. As for powering, the twin MAN V8 engines at 1.200 mhp allow for a top speed of 16 knots and 13,5 cruise speed. As standard the yacht is fitted with underway electro-hydraulic fins for navigation and gyro stabilisers. On request - and fitted on the first unit - it is possible to install “zero-speed” fins, for a further alternative comfort mode while the yacht is moored at anchor.

Accommodation aboard Ferretti Custom Line 28 super yacht Navetta 28 is divided into 5 magnificent cabins, including a main deck master stateroom and four guest staterooms, all positioned on the lower deck. Three of these are double cabins and one is fitted with twin beds; all have ensuite heads and separate showers. In the crew area, located forward, there is an ensuite independent captain cabin, in addition to the two sailor cabins with wall-mounted twin beds and the related heads. Moreover, Navetta 28 boasts a wide sundeck with large sunpads, a grill and space for a Jacuzzi option.

Among special features of this superb vessel belongs the Dual Mode Transom - a revolutionary electro-hydraulic system, which allows to open the hatch both upwards and downwards, thanks to one single pair of pistons, combining together three different functions and maximising the use of this area. In addition, there is the system, called ‘VOTIS’ (Videoworks One Touch Infotainment System), which allows to control through an iPad the whole entertainment system installed in the main deck salon, thereby replacing all the remote controls of the various onboard appliances with one single device.
