It’s no secret that Jay Z and Beyonce like to charter large yachts . And since yachts also provide significant security, privacy and safety in addition to every imaginable luxury, it’s no surprise they choose to rest and recharge onboard superyachts.

In the past, they’ve chartered  Kismet , (the 312-foot-long superyacht that was built by Lurssen under the supervision of the Moran Yacht & Ship yacht project management team for Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan ) and other large yachts.

The the 351-foot-long superyacht LANA has a distinctive pool high on the main deck.

And according to a report on the Superyachtfan.com , it appears the yacht they’re chartering in Croatia is not only the largest and most expensive one they’ve ever chartered. It’s one of the largest and most expensive charter yachts in the world.

Flying Fox: On board the world's most expensive charter yacht that will set you back €3M a week

Power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z have been spotted on board the world's largest yacht available for charter, Flying Fox after missing the Met Gala 2021. BOAT takes a tour of the largest and most expensive charter yacht in the world. 

The standout Lürssen superyacht takes the freshest superyacht trends – and then pushes them to the limit. On a canvas of this scale, that’s fantastically far: the 136-metre, six-deck Lürssen yacht towers 32 metres above the waterline – as tall as three London buses balanced end on end – and has seized the crown as the world’s largest charter yacht .

“If people tell you that we can create a brief for a 130-metre-plus project, I can tell you that’s totally wrong,” says Evgeniy Kochman, CEO of brokerage house Imperial, which acted as owner’s rep on the owner’s last superyacht project and shepherded Flying Fox from inception to completion. “Like every yacht, you start with a white sheet – but in this case you have many more spaces to fit and to adapt to a very demanding, meticulous owner.”

Flying Fox’s 7,000 square metres of curving exterior by Espen Øino certainly contain a spectacular array of spaces, designed with originality by Øino, Mark Berryman and the owner, and executed with precision by Lürssen. The owner himself was deeply involved in every detail, “from the engine room to the observation deck”, says Kochman, who personally attended more than 50 meetings with the client, poring over the GA for an average of 14 hours at a time. Key to shaping the design was the owner’s experience on his previous fleet of superyachts. “It looked obvious to combine the facilities of them in one fully functional superyacht,” says Kochman.

Looking at the finished arrangement, it is clear that the key takeaway from his other yachts has been a passion for watersports and wellness – which defines this boat. It’s a modern preference reflected on many new yachts, but never before on this scale. The whole aft end of the yacht is a two-deck temple to on-water fun and relaxation. The tone is set when guests step on to the 22.5-metre-wide bathing platform and into one of the best superyacht spas to date. With heated limestone floors and louvred oak panelling, the centrepiece of this 400-square-metre “sea lobby” is a vast spa pool , the waters of which can be changed from steaming to icy in about 10 minutes (thanks to dual hot and cold tanks) so it can be used as a plunge pool following the hammam or sauna.

There’s also the first cryosauna ever installed on a yacht. It comprises an antechamber at -60 ̊C, followed by a main chamber at -110 ̊C – you stay in for a maximum of three minutes and emerge with a post-sprint endorphin rush. It is popular with professional athletes to aid muscle regeneration and pain relief. “It is not so easy to come down to that temperature; normal air-conditioning cannot do this,” says Florian Preuss, project manager at Lürssen. “You need three compressors and three circuits – so you cool down three times; three independent systems, working in three steps.”

To starboard off the sea lobby lies a loungey relaxation room with a fold-down balcony. To port, the counterpart balcony sits between a kite surf store and a dive centre that will make enthusiasts swoon. There’s every bit of kit imaginable, from advanced nitrox mixing systems to full face masks and underwater scooters, plus a super-quiet compressor. “We can cater for anyone who has never dived before,” says the dive instructor. “We can start you up in the main swimming pool on the aft deck, all the way through to technical rebreather diving here – if we have certified clients on board, we can do expeditions down to 100 metres. We can do enriched air nitrox just for recreational diving or trimix as well.” In the boat’s hospital there’s also a “proper” decompression chamber.

The fun continues in the cavernous and innovative tender garage just forward, which holds five tenders and a treasure trove of toys, from flyboards and hoverboards to Seabobs and windsurfs. The space has also been specced to meet regulations for fuelling the tenders with petrol. “Quite a technical challenge to achieve that,” says the captain, “similar to what supertankers have.”

And there’s space for more. “We also investigated and prepared the tender garage to carry a personal submarine ,” says Preuss. “So we installed an extra hatch in the tender garage so that you can go from the deck above into the submarine.” Because it’s shorter than a tender, launching it via the two sliding cranes designed to hitch each end of a boat would not work, “so we designed a special rack to put the submarine on, which can be picked up by the crane”.

Aside from the tender garage, this spa and sports space is designed to feel cohesive – you can walk via side decks all the way round from the bathing platform to the fold-down terraces either side of the spa. Directly above the lower deck spa pool, meanwhile, a three-metre by three-metre section of deckhead slides into a forward pocket to create a two-deck atrium. Stainless-steel handrails are then erected around the gap on the main deck. When closed, as Preuss puts it, “you can walk over it as if it was not there”; open, it connects the lower and main decks in spectacular fashion.

The spa-like feeling is carried through this aft part of the main deck too. Just inside from the aft deck is a beauty centre, followed by a dry massage room – “We carry a lot of high-tech electrical equipment so we can do body-shaping and electrical facials, and we use high-quality products by Swiss Perfection and Elemis,” says the therapist. There’s a wet massage room too, where “we do massages with the rain showers on, so you’re laid on a nice warm water bed, in a full shower”.

For more active guests there’s a standout superyacht gym packed with the latest Technogym kit, a balcony for fresh-air yoga and a gym “menu” laying out what’s on offer. It is staffed by ex-British military instructors (of the supportive rather than the shouty kind) – in fact, all crew members are dual-trained in order to staff Flying Fox’s wellness and watersports components: for example, the medic is a dive instructor and some of the housekeepers are also hairdressers.

But the jewel in the crown of this whole two-deck space – at least technically – is the 12-metre aft deck pool. A 22.5-metre beam allowed the team to place this transversely. “It was the owner’s idea to do it in this direction and the rationale behind it was that it would take up less space,” says Øino. “If you were to orient it in the longitudinal direction it would overshoot big time into the deck house and the gym, so it was a very rational decision.”

“I don’t think there is another project with a pool arranged this way,” adds Preuss. “And this is, of course, difficult from an engineering side because of the movement of the water – if the ship is rolling it is difficult to keep it in the pool.” The yard ordered extensive model testing at the University of Duisburg-Essen with a 1:10 scale model mounted on a pedestal that moved according to seakeeping analysis of the ship – so simulating real conditions. The yard identified the solution as two retractable baffles that create a “gate” in the middle that breaks up the volume of water, so it can’t build up momentum. Crew can still empty the pool in three minutes, but there are fewer occasions when they will have to and therefore more times the pool can be used.

But all of this is nothing that guests would ordinarily see. What they will notice is the glass front that can be misted to opaque at the touch of a button, the swim jets at one end and the massage jets at the other, and the height-adjustable floor that means it can offer a deep swim, shallow paddle or even, at full height above the water, a bandstand for parties.

The 10 guest suites are ranged forward of the gym, so guests can pad straight from their beds for a workout or, further aft, a morning swim. These rooms are uniformly massive and each opens on to one of the long side decks, which can be separated into broad fixed balconies in different configurations via hidden sliding panels (there are 45 sliding doors on Flying Fox ). “We’ve carried families with the children in one suite and the parents in another, with this one big balcony for them. It works really well,” says the captain.

The decor here, as throughout the yacht, is, says Berryman, “clean-lined, contemporary”, functional and tactile, with Japanese influences. The aim is a feeling of calm that fits perfectly with both the spa and the wider boat, with a small palette of colours, materials and finishes for a cohesive look – golden oak, caramel bamboo, brushed limestone, travertine marble and cream leather, as well as rattans and coconut shell embellishment.

The upper deck master suite carries this pared-back look as well. There’s a 48-square-metre bathroom, centred with an oval bath and huge shower all ranged outboard, for the views through double-fronted sliding doors on to the broad private deck that wraps all the way around the front of the suite. Highlighting the decor is a delicate mosaic of corals and seaweeds at the back of the shower. “The owner has a love of mosaics,” says Berryman, noting that the 1,700-year-old Lod Mosaic found in Israel in 1996 was an influence on their designs. “We also have them on the floors running throughout the main deck and the lower deck areas.” Created for Berryman by a specialist near Venice, they take on a playful character on the guest suite doors, each marked with a different sea creature.

The owner’s suite also comprises a beauty room and his-and-hers dressing rooms, but the cabin itself is the showstopper. “I have to say it was a difficult area to do,” says Berryman. “At 105 square metres you think, well, it’s a bedroom and you’ve got an aft saloon and aft dining room, what does he need out of it?” The solution was to place the bed to port and to create a cosy sitting room to starboard, complete with an ethanol fireplace.

There are 180-degree windows and Øino replaced bulwarks with glass so that views could flow straight out to the seascape. Forward on the private terrace is a huge spa pool with sunpads and seating. Adjacent to the suite is a cluster of work-focused spaces – a meeting room and the owner’s office, accessed through a studio. “The owner said to me early on, ‘I’m here to work, so I don’t want to be looking at the beautiful sea out there; let me face a wall and then I can concentrate,’” says Berryman.

But things get more social with one of the most extraordinary spaces on board. To port on the upper deck lies a loungey sitting room, for flicking through magazines and, perhaps, waiting for a meeting in the office. To starboard, the space drops off, behind glass balustrades, into a double-height saloon.

“Originally the upper deck saloon and dining was laid out to the port and starboard sides. After a few months of looking at those areas, we all felt the boat needed a wow factor,” says Berryman, “and also there was the saloon on the bridge deck – how many saloons did you actually need? So the starboard side upper dining was removed and the double-height space created.” The space is certainly wow-inducing and to avoid the feeling of, as Berryman puts it, “standing in the middle of a field” the seating is grouped in the centre of the saloon, leaving a walkway of warm oak around the outside.

Also aiding a cosy feeling is the real-wood fireplace, one of five superyacht fireplaces on board. They work, as Preuss puts it, “like a normal fireplace at home” except with insulated ducts routing smoke up through the mast with the help of forced extraction, and measures to meet marine safety regulations. “The glass pane in front needs to be closed all the time and there is a shut-off mechanism,” says Preuss, adding that when you are dealing with unusual onboard technology, “regulations don’t exactly describe what is possible and what is not possible – you have to discuss a lot with the authorities to come to a good solution”.

Another unusual – and residential – feature of the saloon is the greenery. It borders the staircase down from the upper deck and sprouts from planters set into the balustrade, while two ficus trees tower in the outer corners of the space. “We have a full irrigation system on board that is then linked down to the engine control room so that you can keep a check on what is working and if there are any problems there,” says Berryman. The different watering schedules, nutrients and quantities for different plants are programmed in. There are also “specialised lighting systems to give them the correct amount of UV without bleaching the materials”, notes the captain.

Adjacent to the bridge deck saloon lies a dining saloon with a long table by Metrica (which made all the loose furniture on board). A central aquarium, filled with bright artificial corals, adds a splash of colour while delineating the spaces (which can be entirely sequestered using sliding screens).

But just as the spectacular spa acknowledges the trend towards wellness, the yacht’s primary dining areas reflect the modern preference for eating al fresco. “My own experience of cruising is that you always end up spending your time on the outside decks,” says Øino, “so actually moving the cooking outside is a very logical thing to do.” The outdoor kitchen on the bridge aft deck features a wok station, a Josper (coal-powered Spanish grill), a rotisserie capable of cooking a whole lamb, goat or suckling pig, a churrasco oven, pizza oven, teppanyaki and tandoori grill. Guests can sit at a counter and watch the chef work, or at an extendable dining table.

Aft, seating around a gas-fuelled firepit offers the perfect nook for a nightcap. “Everyone says it has completely changed the dynamics of the boat, the interaction between the chef and the guests,” says Øino. “The chef is at the forefront and has become the star on board.” On the upper aft deck is a more intimate version of this space, which Øino describes as “more like a juice bar with ice cream and yoghurts”, as well as an outdoor cinema area and another firepit.

There are other noteworthy outdoor spaces. Take the helipad on the sundeck aft – it has an 18-metre D-value, capable of accommodating the world’s largest helicopters, including an Airbus H175. There are also power points and a DJ alcove built into the mast for when the helipad is used as a dancefloor, and a neat waiting room for departing guests (there is also a foredeck helipad on the bridge deck, with a 14-metre D-value). Up top there’s a (relatively) petite roof deck, with the best views out to sea and also all the way down to the main deck, via the glass roof of the lift shaft. “Despite the very large size of the boat, it can sometimes be difficult finding intimate spaces away from everyone else,” says Øino. “But when you are on the top deck you know that you are on your own – it’s private there.”

The relaxed winter garden , meanwhile, is an indoor space that feels airy thanks to two huge openable, domed skylights made by Yachtglass. “They look light but the skylights are massive and actually very heavy so they were not easy to produce,” adds Preuss. “They needed a couple of tries.”

Perhaps the most surprising thing about this boat is that chartering was not among its primary aims. From the equally proportioned suites, to the neutral decor, massive spa, outdoor lifestyle and dynamic positioning, it seems as if she was built for it. There’s even a cinema with D-Box seating for the latest blockbusters with motion and vibrations (Lürssen had to box the room and add “many tonnes of steel”, says Preuss, to soundproof it). This really is a boat with the scope to offer something for everyone.

“Conceiving and building such yachts is not a quiet path for all parties involved,” notes Kochman with some understatement. “But seeing the pride in the eyes of our client at the delivery, of our build and operational team, and of the crew, reminds us why we do this job.” Now that the hard work is done, there’s nothing for the owner to do but sit back and enjoy the most relaxing boat afloat.

The Crew Cut

It takes a powerful “human engine” to run a boat like Flying Fox – and behind-the-scenes design to supercharge crew work. “We carry two galleys, one for guests and one for crew, and four chefs in total,” says the captain. “We have 55 crew to feed two, sometimes three hot meals.” With a full capacity of crew plus 25 guests, that’s 246 meals a day.

The guest galley is a cook’s fantasy. There’s a pasta machine and prep area with drying racks, a lobster tank for the freshest seafood, vacuum packing for tender steaks using a sous-vide water bath, Pacojet freezing blenders for silky purées and ice creams – and every other bit of kit you could imagine. The fridges and freezers on board measure a total of 137 cubic metres.

In terms of space to relax, “crew consideration was always in the middle of everything”, says Evgeniy Kochman. Aside from large cabins, lounge, mess and gym, crew have use of a comfortable outdoor lounge just behind the forward helipad – a request of the owner. The paperless wheelhouse is set up to handle anything the sea can throw at it. “The bridge splits into three key areas,” says the captain, “planning and communication, navigation and emergency response.” Recessed screens can completely isolate the emergency space.

“You allow the bridge officers to continue with the navigation. They don’t get overawed with all the other communication going on, which could create another incident.” It’s a system common on cruise ships, not on yachts.

While there are no official criteria to categorize a yacht as a superyacht, Bill Springer, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Ocean Home, wrote for Forbes that "all superyachts are opulent enough to be equipped with an object that represents the epitome of luxury."

This particular superyacht, known as Lana, will be available for charter for about $2 million a week beginning in the spring.

This is more than the cost of a typical week-long superyacht rental, which can come to about $150,000, per CNBC. Kismet, the 312-foot superyacht that Beyonce and Jay-Z traveled on in 2018, costs about $1.3 million per week.

The sun deck comes with a heated pool that's about nine yards long.

The same deck has a dining room that seats about 12 people.

Sculptures that decorate the yacht's interior mimic the flow of the ocean, according to the company website.

Lana holds 12 total guests per trip who can stay in one of the eight suites aboard the ship.

Seven of them are referred to as VIP guest rooms, and each room has its own color scheme.

The eighth room is a master suite.

This is the ship's beach club, which is an entertainment area with a waterfront.

It's rumored that Jeff Bezos owns the massive yacht.

On Instagram , Beyoncé has been sharing photos from her family vacation on the impressive ship—which measures 417 feet long and likely cost more than $500 million to build, Bloomberg reports . It’s rumored that Jeff Bezos bought the yacht, but other sources say he’s not the owner.

Onboard, the ship can accommodate 25 guests in suites with clean-lined, contemporary decor, Boat International reports . There are 55 crew members, many of whom are dual-trained to be chefs, housekeepers, medics, dive instructors, hairdressers, and more. The ship has several decks—including a helipad on the roof—and the amenities feature a vast spa pool, cryosauna, gym, submarine, and water sports equipment (to name a few!). Oh, and the yacht is so big that it even has its own support yacht.

It’s unclear how long Beyoncé and Jay-Z plan on vacationing on the boat, but they’re out there living their best lives. Why attend a few crowded events when you can have a whole megayacht to yourself?

Beyoncé and Jay-Z Trade a Small Yacht in the Hamptons for an Enormous Yacht in Croatia

Labor Day has now come and gone. It’s these liminal times that creep forward and remind us that the earth is turning, always turning. Now, the heat is supposed to give way to a kind of crispness, if it hasn’t already, and the drought will, with any mercy, turn to rain. There’s a finality to it, a sense that something is over. 

And yet, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are on a yacht in Europe. Yacht season is basically over, you say. Labor Day happened. It’s fall now. But what a narrow a way to think, how priggish. See, here’s a little lesson, one that’s best learnt sooner rather than later. Yacht season is never over. Somewhere in the world it's a good time to go yachting. 

Yes, the Hamptons may be over, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z certainly heeded those dates, leaving behind their home and hang times with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey . But have yacht, will travel, as they say. And Beyoncé and Jay-Z really have yacht. They traded their small yacht in the Hamptons, a dinghy really, for, well, a “super yacht” or “mega yacht” if you prefer. I do not know the difference. 

They boarded the thing in Croatia and it has a name: LANA, according to TMZ . It’s “longer than a football field” and is equipped with a “pool on the deck, a theater, a spa with professional masseuses” and a thing called “foldable terraces.” There are items aboard to keep the young and the young at heart occupied, like a jet ski, wakeboards, skis, and “inflatable paddleboards.” All for the crisp, cool price of $2 million a week. In the end, seasons are a mindset, and one traversed easily with the right kind of bank account.

Life Aboard Jay-Z and Beyonce's $70 Million Yacht

While the Carter-Knowles clan combine business and pleasure on the private jet, the yacht, it seems, is just for pure fun.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé struggle along, making over $100 million dollars a year and with a combined net worth approaching $1.5 billion. It's tough at the top. And, trust us, they don't deny themselves the very best of everything. Beyoncé gave Jay-Z a $40 million private jet for his first Father's Day. Jay-Z gave Queen B a private island in the Bahamas. It called how the other half lives, the A-list high life.

And so they could sail up to their island paradise in style, they bought a $70 million 212 Galactica yacht!  Jay-Z bought it as a birthday present for Bey. Well, the plane was no use on the island. See, there's no runway.

While the Carter-Knowles clan combine business and pleasure on the private jet, the yacht, it seems, is just for pure fun. It has sun deck aplenty and shaded spots where you can sip champers and eat canapés.

And inside? The interior is luxurious and custom-designed and comes complete with guest rooms, a fully-beamed master bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen.

And it seems that the salty sea eye makes Jay-Z and Beyoncé a little frisky at times! Lately, the couple has been spotted on a $200 million dollar plus superyacht. If you are interested, you can charter the 213-foot $40 million Galactica for a mere half-million a week! You can take your friends and split the cost. We advise you get your reservations early. There's bound to be high demand at that price.

Here's a look inside Jay-Z and Beyoncé's life on the high seas. It's tough, but somebody's got to do it.

$70 Million Of Luxury On The High Seas

The Netherlands-built Galactica yacht cost Jay-Z and Beyoncé $70 million. And it's worth every penny. The good ship Galactica is 213-feet of seagoing luxury.

Even better, the yacht has room for 12 guests. So, friends and family can come along and enjoy the fun.

The guest-rooms are to die for, having been customed designed. The full-beamed master suite has its own private balcony. And there's a VIP suite on the top deck. Really? Who could possibly be more important that Jay-Z and Queen B? We hear Kanye West wants to occupy it. Dream on.

And don't forget that outdoor space. There's an outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, open and covered deck space, together with several outdoor sheltered dining spaces.

And Jay-Z and Beyoncé don't have to lift a finger! There's a staff of 13 who takes care of everything. If a gourmet meal is needed, they just call the chef in the full-sized kitchen. Or Bey can ring for a server to pour more champers as she lounges in the Jacuzzi. And the captain and his crew do their best to ensure smooth sailing. And if Blue Ivy, Suri, and Rumi are along for the ride, the nannies are there to keep the peace.

A Place To Relax And Get Frisky

Jay-Z and Beyoncé seem a little more relaxed and less high-powered on the high seas. They might bob around in a dinghy or just lounge by the pool or in the Jacuzzi. They sip drinks outdoors in sheltered hideaways. It's the perfect getaway deal.

But there must be something about all that fresh, salty sea air.

How can we tell? Well, there's a lot of PDA on the boat. They just can't seem to help themselves! And gosh knows what goes on behind the closed doors of the master.

Sometimes they use the yacht for a family getaway. Sometimes it just Jay-Z and Bey. But when they are of a mind to have a party, well they can take a dozen people with them and have a seagoing ball.

Where the heck do they go? Well, there's Cannes, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean to explore. Jay-Z and Bey can sit and enjoy the view or take the dinghy on to shore and enjoy the beach or the local nightlife. If they roll up to The Cannes Film Festival there are ample opportunities to invite friends and colleagues aboard for totally A-list parties.

Moving On Up

Lately, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been seen cruising on a larger $200 million-plus yacht. This one has a beauty salon, a surround-sound cinema room, a helipad, and (believe it or not) a basketball court. It's only a matter of time before they invest in their next necessity, a helicopter. And they probably need a stock of basketballs. Overshoot the mark and you might just have balls bobbing in the ocean.

And with the advent of the new yacht, there's an opportunity for yacht wannabees everywhere. See, the $70 million 213 foot Galactica can be chartered at the bargain-basement price of around half a million -- a week! As we said, get your reservations in early. You wouldn't want to miss out!

Take a look inside Beyonce and Jay Z’s $70 million yacht!

They are a power couple like no other, we love them and they love each other. This couple has always showed us how much money they have and how much they love each other, by the presents they receive.

And this time is no different. It is believed that for Beyonce’s 32 nd birthday, her husband, the rapper Jay Z bought her a US$70 million superyacht. That tops the list of the expensive things Beyonce owns .

They have been photographed by the paparazzi celebrating aboard the 213-ft Galactica Star yacht.

Because it might have been a gift, this yacht is one of the best, and has given the title of the world’s largest fast displacement yacht at the time of its launch in 2013.

It was titled the largest fast displacement because it has the ability to combine low resistance with high performance and fuel efficiency throughout the full speed range.

It can almost go with 30 knots while burning 30% less fuel than a craft of the same size.

Galactica Star yacht has been built by Heesen in the Netherlands and had its interior designed by London-based firm Bannenberg & Rowell.

It is not in vain called a superyacht, because it features lots of outdoor space, including a sundeck, a duplex beach club covering 25% of the main and lower decks, and a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck.

Because we are here talking about one of the richest couples in the world , the yacht must have come with a helipad. Plus, it also has several World Superyacht Awards.

The yacht is kitted out with everything you could need at sea, catering especially for warmer climates where the guests can relax in the sun.

Beyonce and Jay Z can take up to 12 guests with them, and accommodate them in custom-built staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with private balcony and a VIP suite on the upper deck.

Let’s not count the crew of 13 to service all the guests, and the swimming pool, sauna or on-deck Jacuzzi.

The Galactica Star, which is priced at an estimated US$70 million, is not on the books as a charter vessel, so some people say that Jay Z may have dropped big money to make it his.

No doubt he negotiated a good price, and by chartering it out when not in use he may even turn a profit.

Before Jay Z bought it, the yacht belonged to Nigerian energy business magnate Kola Aluko, but in September, he sold it to the couple.

Apparently you can also rent this yacht, if you have US$900,000/ week and must be a personal connection to Kola Aluko or someone famous.

The control room is state of the art, featuring large touch-screen displays that can be used to drive the yacht for over 4,500 nautical miles on a single tank of fuel.

At night, the ship becomes beautifully lit and is the perfect location for hosting parties.

The modern and forward-looking design includes a lot of glass, helping to keep the space airy and light.

In celebration of the her 33rd birthday, Beyoncé and husband Jay Z along with their daughter Blue Ivy have been enjoying time-out on board the magnificent 81m/266ft luxury charter yacht ‘Alfa Nero' .

According to the Mail Online , the singer and her family embarked on their Mediterranean superyacht vacation from the French Riviera port of Antibes. The two are no strangers to chartering and last year hired the 65m/213ft M/Y ‘Galactica Star’ in Italy even though the Heesen-built yacht is not openly available on the global charter fleet.

With their undoubtedly busy schedules and high-profile jobs, Beyoncé and Jay Z seem to have taken to life out on the open waves on board some impressive superyachts, opting for the unsurpassed privacy and freedom that charter vacations offer. Yet Beyonce proved that all is well as she was seen puckering up to Jay-Z on Wednesday while aboard a luxury yacht in Croatia during their romantic summer getaway. 

The 40-year-old singer looked sensational as she donned a vibrant canary yellow kaftan with pink accents on the trim and a bold pattern on the hemline.

In a series of songs, the mother-of-three referenced her 21-year relationship with rapper Jay Z as she mused that 'nobody's perfect' and insisted that they 'don't need the world's acceptance.'

Beyonce first spoke publicly about her husband's infidelity in her 2016 visual album Lemonade, referencing the other woman as 'Becky with the good hair.'

The following year Jay Z referenced the scandal himself, claiming he had 'gone into survival mode' so had to 'shut down emotionally,' which resulted in him being unfaithful.

Appearing to reference the ongoing scrutiny surrounding her relationship, Beyo nce sings in Renaissance track Plastic On The Sofa: 'We don't need the world's acceptance. They're too hard on me, they're too hard on you, boy.'

She also sings: 'Boy, I know you can't help but to be yourself around me, yourself around me. And I know nobody's perfect so I'll let you be, I'll let you be.

The singer also seems confident that Jay Z won't be repeating his antics, belting out: 'I'm one of one, I'm number one, I'm the only one.

'Don't even waste your time trying to compete with me. No one else in this world can think like me. I'm twisted, contradicted, keep him addicted.'

Fun in the sun: The pair were no doubt looking forward to spending their downtime together out in the sunshine after a busy few weeks polishing  off Beyonce's latest album 

Beyonce also referenced her husband's scandal with her sister Solange.

In 2014, Solange was filmed attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Met Gala, with her Beyonce and her husband releasing a joint statement at the time stressing it was a ‘private family matter’.

However, later in the year she referenced in a remix of her single, Flawless: 'And we could go around and get some good karma, but no. We escalate, up in this b***h like elevators. Of course sometimes s**t go down, when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator’.

She has now appeared to reference the scandal again in new single Cozy, singing: 'She’s a god, she’s a hero, she survived, all she been through, confident and she lethal.

'Might I suggest you don’t f**k with my sis, because she ­comfortable. Comfortable in my skin, cozy with who I am.'

Beyoncé pays tribute to husband Jay-Z with highly-anticipated new album – here's how

Beyoncé's cowboy carter drops on march 29.

Beyoncé's fans are highly anticipating the release of her new country album , the title of which was revealed earlier in the week as  Cowboy Carter .

The studio album is the 42-year-old pop icon's eighth and is the follow-up to her highly successful Renaissance from 2022, marketed as an " Act ii " to the largely house and ballroom inspired project.

However, while we don't have many details on the new album, one thing that we do know is that the album already serves as an implicit nod to her husband, Jay-Z .

The title uses her marital surname, his family name (Jay-Z's birth name is Shawn Corey Carter), and pays tribute to the legacy they've created as one of the music industry's biggest power couples.

After first collaborating with him for 2002's "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" (and hitting number one months later with "Crazy in Love"), the two have been inseparable, married since 2008 and the parents of daughter Blue Ivy and twins Sir and Rumi.

Beyoncé surprised the world with news of the album with her Verizon Super Bowl commercial (which was a surprise in itself), saying at the end that we were "ready" for new music, as early reports indicated.

She then surprised on social media and released the album's first two singles, both of which indicated the new direction her music would be taking with this record.

Are there any singles off Cowboy Carter ?

We already have two singles from the record, those being leads "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages," the first being an uptempo country pop song with western and soul influences, the second a more grandiose country ballad.

"Texas Hold 'Em" was embraced by many fans as the lead and eventually became the one pushed to mainstream and country radio, becoming a top-ten hit worldwide and reaching number one in the United States, her ninth.

It also became her first number one on the Billboard Country Songs chart, the first song by a Black woman to reach the top of the chart and one of only eight Black women to hit the chart at all.

Who is featured on Cowboy Carter ? Is the track list out?

As of now, no other details about Cowboy Carter have been revealed, apart from merch drops related to the title, which was announced on March 12 via social media.

However, many eager fans and critics have speculated that Beyoncé will possibly cover Dolly Parton's "Jolene" on the album, particularly after Dolly herself shared her praise for the record and for her achievement on the Country Songs chart.

When asked about the possibility of "Jolene" being recorded for the album, Dolly told Knox News : "Well, I think she has! I think she's recorded 'Jolene' and I think it's probably gonna be on her country album, which I'm very excited about."

Body Language Expert Reveals How Jay-Z Mortified Beyoncé

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been together for more than 20 years, married for over a decade , have three children together, and are considered some of the greatest recording artists in the business.

There’s no denying that the “ 99 Problems ” rapper and “Drunk in Love” singer are a power couple not just in music but in the entertainment industry as a whole. And now, a body language expert is pointing out what they’re seen doing from time to time to show just how powerful they are, which is the same thing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do often.

Putting hands on their partner’s back to show they are ‘connected’

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.”

According to Stanton, “Jay-Z tends to walk behind Beyoncé and also puts his hand on her back. This is a gesture we often see with Meghan and Harry. It’s not about ownership but it’s saying that ‘we’re a strong couple. We are connected.'”

The other thing, again like Harry and Meghan, Jay and Bey do is they’re not afraid to show PDA.

Stanton noted: “You often see the molding hands, being very close to each other, and sometimes they kiss.”

Beyoncé asserts her power when she puts her hands on her hips

The body language guru also revealed that Queen Bey puts her hands on her hips when she wants to assert her individual power.

He said: “You’ll notice the more space somebody occupies by putting their hands on their hips which is something Beyoncé tends to do a lot at red carpet and music events, [or] when she’s having a photoshoot, she’ll put her hand on her hips. And that’s saying, not in an arrogant way but saying, ‘I’m the most powerful person here.'”

What Jay-Z did that ‘mortified’ Beyoncé

Stanton also discussed something Jay-Z did at an award ceremony and how Beyoncé displayed through her body language that she was “mortified” by it. The expert explained that the “Single Ladies” hitmaker wasn’t thrilled with her husband’s acceptance speech for the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award he received at the GRAMMYs on Feb. 04, 2024.

During his speech, the hip-hop artist brought up his wife while taking a dig at the Recording Academy saying: “I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than anyone and never won album of the year. So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work.” 

Stanton said he noticed a number of key things and emotions when the cameras cut to Beyoncé.

“The first thing she did was she bowed her head and looked to the left,” he observed. “Now this denotes shame … she was mortified and wished the ground would swallow her up … He’d never made this arrangement and she didn’t agree for him to do this. This was something he did off his own back … She [in turn] pulled on her anger, what we call a micro-expression, which gives us a clear indication of what emotions she was experiencing. So I can imagine when those two got home that night. You can bet they had words with each other.”

Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly gifted himself a $300 million megayacht, dubbed “Launchpad,” ahead of his 40th birthday.

The staggering 387-foot-long vessel was seen floating at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after arriving at its berth earlier this week, The Sun reported Thursday.

The multi-layered luxury ship’s sleek exterior was designed by Espen Øino International and boasts a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, according to SuperYacht Times.

Reportedly ranking as the 45th largest yacht in the world, the interiors are just as aesthetically pleasing and reportedly executed by Zuretti Interior Design company, a France-based company specializing in unique and custom yacht design.

The breathtakingly beautiful floater stands out with a navy blue theme matching an American flag perched proudly on its wood-paneled stern.

There are several outdoor areas where the social media maven will be able to relax with his family and the indoor levels feature glass paneling allowing for tons of natural light.

There also appears to be a helipad perfect for whenever the Facebook co-founder wants to travel to his vessel by air.

The Feadship-built yacht, built in 2022, can comfortably fit 24 guests aboard, requires a crew of 48, and is said to cost $30 million a year for upkeep and usage, according to Superyachtfan.com .

Boatworld insiders have been buzzing with speculation that Zuckerberg is the owner of the newly minted mega-cruise ever since it made its main voyage from the Netherlands last week.

The tech titan was spotted touring the Russian-commissioned megayacht in early March, though the impressive boat didn’t arrive stateside until this week due to sanctions, according to The Sun.

The website reported that Zuckerberg purchased the pricey yacht – along with its own $30 million partner boat — most likely as an early 40th birthday present to himself.

The boat reportedly traveled to Florida after being granted special permission to be imported just weeks ahead of Zuckerberg’s birthday on May 14.

Zuckerberg’s yacht is just 30 feet shorter than the length of fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos’ 417-foot megayacht Koru, which the Amazon boss snagged for a whopping $500 million.

Zuckerberg’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Beyoncé saddled up and unveiled her alternate "Cowboy Carter" album cover art Wednesday, and Erykah Badu 's all fired up about it ... thinking it's a full imitation of her, and, no, she's not flattered!

She's accusing Bey of copying her signature beaded bob hairdo without so much as a thank you, prompting Erykah to repost the image with a mockingly curious "Hmmm" caption.

Fans, especially Beyoncé's, immediately took note of EB's allegation of a style jacking.

In fact, the Beyhive is so riled up, Erykah switched from IG to X, where she urged Jay-Z to come to her rescue, posting ... "Say somethin Jay. You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me??"

Tough position for her to put Hov in -- after all, that's his wife Erykah's insulting!!!

It's interesting for Erykah to single out on the hairstyle, because Beyoncé's alternate "Cowboy Carter" album cover art (for vinyl LPs) has a lot happening -- the singer poses in the buff, only covered in a sash with "Act II" and "Beyince," her cousin Angie's last name, stamped across the front.

Yet, Erykah's laser-focused on that hair.

Remember, Erykah also targeted Bey last year over hats she wore during her "Renaissance" tour, which she also thought ripped off her style.

So, Mt. Badu's been ready to erupt, and it seems "Cowboy Carter" is the trigger.

Badu called out Beyoncé for seemingly stealing her style once again and, well, the internet did what it does.

Erykah Badu — neo-soul songstress, analog girl in a digital world, fashion icon — can basically say and do whatever she wants at this point. Doesn't mean she should, but she can. And in one of her wild romps through the internet, she happened upon a post for Beyoncé 's vinyl cover for her upcoming album , Act II: Cowboy Carter .

The image featured Beyoncé naked, save for a red, white, and blue a sash bearing the family name Beyincé. But Badu took umbrage with Bey's hairstyle: long braids with colorful beads, which seemed a bit too similar to a look she's sported in the not-so-distant past. Badu reposted the Cowboy Carter image in her IG Stories , with the simple, shady caption of "Hmmm."

Now, the fact that anyone could catch wind of that slight snuggled amid Badu's dozens of other Stories including promos for her own weed tray and a Instagram Reel of a dog in shiny cowboy boots would be surprising...were this just "anyone." But this is the BeyHive. They can and will sniff out any negative Beyoncé commentary then hunt it down to the ends of the internet.

Badu found that out the hard way, taking to the social media site f.k.a. Twitter to try and get Bey's husband Jay-Z to do something about all these damn bees like she's Macaulay Culkin in My Girl .

"To Jay Z . Say somethin' Jay. You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me??" Badu tweeted with a laughing emoji.

This isn't the first time Badu has come for Beyoncé and what Badu assumed was Bey's appropriation of her style. Last summer, Badu accused Bey of jacking her big shiny hat game, remarking, "I guess I'm everybody stylist" in a similarly shady IG Story.

Though Jay-Z has yet to weigh in — and he will not as he's still on shaky ground with the BeyHive since Lemonade — Beyoncé's longtime publicist Yvette Schure fired off a shady Instagram post of her own featuring a slideshow of braided Bey through the years, accompanied by the caption, "She slays. She slays. Now. Then. Always. #criticswithoutcredentials."

Ladies, can't we all just braid along?
