Nice property but service is lacking

The property and rooms are wonderful. Room was clean well maintained. The service leaves alot lacking. Before a hotel can call itself a luxury accommodation the GM must pay attention to the small things that truly makes a hotel worthy of being called luxury. We stayed here for 2 nights and could not reach anyone at the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurants all weekend. Apparentky they dont do room service on wknds. Would have been nice to know this before booking. When we finally were able to reach someone on Monday for room service, the food was delivered with no utensils. Couldn't reach anyone on the line to call for utensils. In a wknd We walked to pick up dinner from the showfish restaurant, ordered angel hair pasta with shrimp and received something that wasn't on the menu. Had no idea what was in the meal some kind of.squid ink pasta with fish. I'm pregnant and had no idea what was in the meal. Tried calling them to ask, and no response. Meal completely wasted. Staff require better training and the GM should really pay attention to these issues. More

Great vibe for all ages and great location on the lake. Lots to do and many free amenities like exercise classes and Oyster and champagne Happy Hour. Super comfy bed, pillows and bedding. Can’t wait to go back.

The absolute worst experience ever. I booked this for my daughter and fiancé for October for a bday gift. We changed reservation to May and it was nothing short of a disaster. I paid for a waterview and received a parking lot view. Tv didn’t work. Complained to front desk. Room changed the next night and carbon monoxide detector went off in the middle of the night. Took cover off to stop it and it had been expired by two years. Again called front desk. Numerous over charges on my bill. Have been calling for two months to speak to Kyle and no one has called me back Is I recd a new charge. Called to speak to someone tda and I was told it was for a stolen router. Oh my God. I am totally fed up.

The photos of this place are inviting! The service we received was uneven. The help with the bags wonderful, but the bathroom door was very squeaky and we asked twice to be fixed. Nobody came. The beds are comfortable and the view was nice, but noisy like hell. It seemed the people upstairs from us were in our room. Also the ones next door. The room faced a promenade like a motel style, with a porche, straight onto the passing people. Impossible to have privacy unless you decide to be in the dark. Unable to sleep due to the loud music, people, laughter, noisy walking etc we decided to leave after the second night. WE WERE NOT REFUND. We wrote to the manager twice and called but to no avail. We will never come back here and will discourage you to do so. For a thousand dollars a night? Crazy. Totally abusive.

Montauk Yacht Club is the best place to stay in Montauk. We recently got married here and the entire hotel staff, led by Kyle and Brianna, went above and beyond to make our entire weekend seamless. It truly exceeded our expectations on so many levels and a huge part of that was the service, which we cannot stop talking about. The rooms are simple and clean with spacious and newly renovated restrooms; all of the hallways and a lot of the common areas have been recently renovated; the food at Showfish is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. All of our guests have been raving about their stay at MYC, which is all you can hope for as the bride and groom of a destination wedding. I have a feeling that every time we go back it's only going to continue to be more amazing because you can tell this resort is top priority for the new ownership / management companies.

Overall great stay!! Special shout out to the gentleman Memo that works at Il Forno. Memo was so insightful great recommendation and excellent service. Overall the resort was great! The rooms were clean and the front desk handled all our requests promptly! The only issue we had was very loud AC units. We will definitely be back!
