Born and raised in South Florida with a father who worked and is still working in the yachting industry, he gained a wealth of knowledge about yachts from a young age. Growing up, you could always find Rory on the water fishing, diving, surfing, or wakeboarding. He studied naval architecture and ocean engineering in college. While in college, Rory worked at a well known European shipyard, interned for a naval architectural firm, and worked on several interesting projects including an Autonomous High-Speed Vessel. After graduating, Rory continued his passion by crewing on several Motor Yachts.  Most notably, working on Project Kismet at the Lurssen Kroger Werft Shipyard. The knowledge he has gained over the years has provided his clients with an unrivaled level of insight and personal service.

Chartering Superyacht Kismet with Moran Yacht & Ship

One of the largest charter yachts in the world, superyacht Kismet is truly one of a kind. Now available for charter with Moran Yacht & Ship , we take a look at how this purpose-built yacht was designed to create the highest levels of experience and exclusivity on the waters today.

Launched in 2014, the 95.20 metre Kismet was built by one of the most respected shipyards in the world, Lürssen Yachts .

Central agents Moran Yacht & Ship told us how the project began as an evolution of the original 68 metre Lürssen superyacht Kismet.

The new 95.20 metre project provided a platform for the owner to build on his previous iconic yacht and add features to cater for sophisticated charter clients.

“ She has had some very high profile charters this past year and they have had nothing but good things to say about the boat, her crew and their experience onboard, ” comments Chris Callahan, Marketing Director of Moran Yacht & Ship.

After traversing the Thames in 2015 - showcasing her signature 3D Printed Jaguar bow ornament - this stunning work of modern marine engineering became a highly discussed and sought-after member of the Top 100 Largest Yachts in the World.

Now, twelve guests can step on board superyacht Kismet to enjoy a charter experience like no other, with the Summer season offering adventure across the East and West Mediterranean before heading to the Caribbean to spend her winter months in the sun.

Designed by Espen Oeino , this pedigree-built superyacht has an imposing, yet graceful, modern profile and features exterior spaces to cater for every situation, wherever you are in the world.

Her elaborate interior styling was created by Reymond Langton Design, and expertly fills the expansive space within - thanks to a large beam of 13.80 metres - providing guests on board with a comfortable atmosphere while they make the most of the numerous design elements on board.

The superyacht charter market does not get much more exclusive than Kismet, and while details are still highly secretive, we’ve provided a look at a new set of stunning photos placing the 45th largest yacht in the world in her natural habitat.

This review is specifically for the yacht Phoenix, winner of show boats 2004. (Five yelp stars simply do not do it justice.) http://www.yachtphoenix.com/ Have you ever imagined anyone of your wishes or commands granted on the spot? Having a crew of 18 people aboard the Phoenix to serve our 8 person entourage was more than you could ever ask for. The service was unparalleled to any thing I have ever experienced; whether it is restaurants, retail, spas, nothing comes close to the dedication to detail and guest satisfaction as it was on the Phoenix. From ironing your sheets on to your bed, coordinating amazing presentation when it comes to serving food, to fancying up your room and NEVER being seen, the crew was unbelievable. The yacht itself, 201 feet of pure luxury. It's no surprise the yacht has won awards for it's spectacular interior design. From the leather woven walls, to the heated marble floors, white gold plated furniture; this art deco setting was gorgeous. Not only can you relax aboard this five star hotel on water, you can utilize their many water sport activities. The deck hands are ready to at anytime put you on a jet ski, take you tubing, fishing, or whatever your heart desires. We had an additional boat to take us diving, but that, like the cost of food and fuel, is on top of the $800,000 cost to simply charter the yacht. Overall, live like a king, and cry when you leave.
