How Much Is it to Charter the Eros Yacht from Below Deck?

On Season 3 of Below Deck , the crew catered to guests on board the Eros , a 161-foot luxury yacht, which will take the cast and some well-heeled guess Bahamas. The Eros has high-end pleasures like an on-deck jacuzzi and a gym. Like previous years, Below Deck representatives changed the name of the actual yacht for the show.

Below Deck’s Eros is actually called Mustang Sally.The ship also offers guests water toys like a wave runner, water skis, snorkeling equipment, and scuba diving equipment.

When it is not being filmed on Below Deck, Mustang Sally charters for about $192,000 per week in the summer and about $175,000 in the winter.

Great crew, Outstanding yacht.

Though I’ve thought all the Yachts were nice, I’d have to say the EROS is probably a favorite. The layout is so much different than the others.

I was thinking how amazingly fun it would be to work on this yacht….then I thought HELL NO!!! I want to be a pampered guest on that boat, surrounded by an amazing and super fun crew!!! It would be a once in a lifetime trip!!!! I would love my whole family (which is very small) to join me for pure rest & relaxation and tons of fun; with no worries at all… But DAAA’UUUMMM……it is so dang freaking expensive to rent this yacht for a week. I am not that wealthy, so it’s unlikely I’ll ever be able to afford an type of vacation on this gorgeous be z

Us poor peeps can only hope to win the give away Cruz on that boat for the week…

One day I will be able to take a trip on this yacht or spend a week on this yaht, when that day comes I’ll know I won the lotto…lol

I don’t get it. What’ s so special about a yacht? $200,000 and for what?

WoW!! I only wish that I were related to the Real House Wife celeb, Ms. Bailey. What a blessing to grab a few best friends and even just enjoy a weekend at sea…….now that would make me very happy. I will be looking for that “Eros Cruise Contest” as well.

I thought it would fun to get 10 friends and split the cost until I checked into the prices. Wow, I can pay my house off for the amount of money they are asking. I watch the show and I have not been impressed with the food the chef serves, the entertainment, an employee dressing up as a mermaid?? and some water toys. Add another 10000.00 or more for the tip at the end of the week. Maybe when I hit the lotto!

The actual Below Deck yacht is available to charter in Miami area for anyone that has the money.

I would NEVER charter the Eros after seeing the show ‘Below Deck’ & seeing how the crew mock the quests publicly on camera! How rude & unprofessional!

EROS is a 37.03 m Motor Yacht, built in Italy by Custom Line and delivered in 2019. She is one of 15 Navetta 37 models.

Her top speed is 15.5 kn, her cruising speed is 12.5 kn, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3000.0 nm at 10.0 kn, with power coming from two MTU diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms, with 7 crew members waiting on their every need. She has a gross tonnage of 289.0 GT and a 8.0 m beam.

She was designed by Zuccon International Project , who also designed the interior. Zuccon International Project has designed 643 yachts and designed the interior of 625 yachts for yachts above 24 metres.

The naval architecture was developed by Ferretti Engineering Department , who has architected 575 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database - she is built with a Teak deck, a GRP hull, and GRP superstructure.

EROS is in the top 30% by LOA in the world. She is one of 1139 motor yachts in the 35-40m size range, and, compared to similarly sized motor yachts, her volume is 22.14 GT above the average.

The original Art-Deco grandeur of a bygone era is visible throughout with varnished teak joinery, brass fittings and rich, elegant fabrics providing a homely, yet historical atmosphere. While she has been fitted with all the latest navigation, galley and engine room equipment, she is otherwise restored as she was built. Luxury Classic sailing yacht EROS (35.1m / 1151’) was launched by English shipyard Brooks Motor Crafts back in 1939.  Always kept in excellent condition, she accommodates up to 8-10 yacht charter guests sleeping in 1 Master suite, 2 VIP double cabins and 2 twin cabins, one of which is convertible into a double, both with an additional Pullman. All cabins are en-suite and feature their own audio and visual entertainment systems. There are always at least 11 super yacht crew members on board including the captain. This charter yacht mainly cruises at speeds of around 9kn and is normally offered for luxury crewed yacht charters within the Mediterranean in summer and East Caribbean in winter months. Her crew are happy to offer ONE WAY or TANDEM charters between other destinations too and on request. 'Below Deck' Charter Guests Get Plenty Of Space

Cabin fever is spreading like crazy over on Season 3 of Below Deck , and the crew members have gotten on one another's nerves nonstop. Since they've been blaming the cabin's close quarters for many of their disagreements, I had to wonder, how big is Eros ? Could it really be small enough to make even the most professional yachties hate one another? While their sleeping quarters are certainly uncomfortably small, I don't think the crew can blame the ship. It is huge, even for a Below Deck yacht. Actually, it's series' biggest one yet, as according to Yacht Charter World, Eros is just over 160 feet long , which is on the large side for a charter yacht.

Even though the crew might be at one another's throats, that doesn't mean the guests are cramped. If anything, the crew is sacrificing their mental health in order to make the Eros as pleasant as possible for the guests. Every square inch of space is taken out of the crew's area in order to maximize how much space there is for the guests to hang out and walk around. Actually, even though you technically can't really leave the boat, the Eros isn't limited whatsoever — there's nothing you can't do if you're a Below Deck guest.

1. You Can Run A 5K If You Lap The Deck 100 Times

Training for a race? Want to keep your exercise routine going while you're on vacation? Run around the 160-foot deck about a hundred times, and you'll get three miles, or 5K.

2. There's Plenty Of Space On The Deck For All Of Your Guests

That's handy if you're playing some sort of "the floor is lava" game or you all want tans but hate chairs — but the deck, which has been shown on every single episode of Below Deck , can easily accommodate all 10 of your potential guests.

3. That Annoying Hot Tub? It Won't Make The Whole Place Humid

Have you ever lived in an apartment so small that whenever you take a shower the whole place would feel like a sauna? Probably not, if you're rich enough to book a week-long charter for almost $200,000 . But worry not — with all of that space, the hot tub won't ruin anything.

4. There Are 2 Dining Rooms

If over the course of a week or two you get tired of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the same scenery, why not switch to the more formal dining space?

5. If You Hate 1 Of Your Guests, You Don't Have To See Them

160 feet, the length of Eros, is like the width of a professional football field. And while it's not as wide as it is long, football coaches manage to yell at their teams on either side of the field without overhearing one another, and that's without tons of fun yacht stuff in the way. So if you brought along a guest but don't want to have to deal with them? No worries, so long as they stick to the bow and you stay near the stern. Take it as a chance to indulge your Titanic dreams, like the above Season 3 charter guest.

6. You Don't Have To Hear Anything From Below Deck

And I mean that literally: the Eros is big enough that you'll be far away from all of the reality show drama. There's no way that Rocky's screams of boredom are audible from the guest quarters, so there's no chance that your vacation bliss will be ruined by the shouts of the crew ironing your T-shirts for the tenth time. And that's the true privilege of Eros' size: total freedom from confronting the Below Deck stars onboard.

The Eros team comprises of five seasoned, professional and fun loving crew members. While they each have their own responsibilities, they work hand-in- hand to insure our guests enjoy the best vacation imaginable.

Colin Horton, Captain – Colin began his sailing career in his home, the Pacific Northwest, while he was in college. He has spent the last 10+ years working on a variety of vessels all over the world. His experience includes multiple Caribbean and Mediterranean sailing seasons, two transatlantic voyages and many super yacht regattas. Colin holds his 200-ton Near Coastal USCG Cap- train’s license. In his off time, Colin owns and maintains his own sailboat and enjoys cruising around the greater New England area. Brieanne Buckey, Chief Stew – Bri grew up on Jamestown Island across the bridge from Newport, RI, where she naturally fell in love with the ocean, and boats. After a stint in the Hawaiian islands, she moved to the Virgin Islands to be close to her first love, warm ocean waters. Drawn to the yachts in the harbor she took a job on a charter boat and has not looked back. She has rounded out her guest service experience with several years working in restaurants and hotels and truly loves to make sure Eros’s charter guests’ expectations are exceeded every minute they are on board. Bri also prides herself on her excellent mixology skills.

Heather Stout, Chef – Heather grew up in the southwest desert of Utah and migrated to the eastern coast over a decade ago, where she ended up in Maine and fell in love with classic wooden schooners, the rugged Atlantic shoreline, and the hearty New England agriculture. With over twenty years of experience in restaurants and farming, Heather knows the importance of promoting local food culture by finding and learning the expertise of farmers, ingredients, and practices from the different regions we visit. She places an emphasis on healthy and vibrant meals, and brings a clear message of sustainability and nourishment to her cuisine.

Tami Stawicki, Chief Stewardess. Tami grew up on the coast of Connecticut before moving to New York to work as an actuary. After five years, she wanted to focus on traveling and made the switch to work as a host on yachts in Croatia. After a couple of seasons and working various hospitality roles, she is excited to join the crew on Eros. In her free time, Tami enjoys reading, walking, swimming, and running.

Esteban Mogollon, First Mate – Esteban’s passion for sailing began in south Florida, where he would race his older sister in a couple lasers across Biscayne Bay. He became enchanted with classic sailboats after working on a few schooners in Newport, RI and Connecticut. Currently holding a 100-Ton Near Coastal USCG Captain’s license, he aspires to upgrade to a 200-Ton license. Beyond the sea, Esteban finds joy in woodworking, surfing, and watching fútbol.

Brieanne Buckey, Stewardess/ Deckhand- Bri grew up on Jamestown Island across the bridge from Newport, RI, where she naturally fell in love with the ocean, and boats. After a stint in the Hawaiian islands, she moved to the Virgin Islands to be close to her first love, warm ocean waters. Drawn to the yachts in the harbor she took a job on a charter boat and has not looked back. Unlike most charter crew Bri threw in a couple of interesting side gigs, commercial salmon fishing in Alaska, and earning her Coast Guard captain’s license for up to six passengers. Look out, Captain Justin. She has rounded out her guest service experience with several years working in restaurants and hotels and truly loves to make sure Eros’s charter guests’ expectations are exceeded every minute they are on board. Bri also prides herself on her excellent mixology skills.

The Caribbean's story is an intriguing tale of colonists, pirates, and great sugar wealth. Many islands changed hands several times over the centuries, creating a diversity of European influences, which remains most evident in the buildings. Around this, the people of the Caribbean have stamped their own laid-back attitude onto each island. As each Island's history is different, so too are the customs, the languages and the music you'll find. All the islands of the Caribbean do have some things in common though – a relaxed attitude that perfectly matches the balmy weather. Throughout the islands of your Caribbean cruise you'll find a kinship with nature – locals fish for their supper and weekends see families flock to the stunning beaches to swim in the crystalclear waters. Once you arrive at one of the majestic destinations on the Caribbean, the activities you can choose from are boundless. From jet skiing to sport fishing to catching your own fish for your evening dinner, everything you desire is right at your fingertips! For a discounted charter rate you can be a part of this phenomenal show that has become a fan favorite and household name on Bravo!

You will be escaping on a 150'-165' luxury yacht, with 3 spacious decks, a Jacuzzi, and 4 guest cabins, including a master suite and double beds in the other 3 rooms. This mega yacht sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably. In addition, guests will have access to all of the boat's water toys, which may include waverunners, seabobs, paddleboards, kayaks, snorkel gear, water skis, wake boards, and assorted inflatable toys. All of these details will be confirmed once your charter group has been locked into a specific charter date! The charters this season will be 3 days, 2 nights and the charter fee will be $40,000. This charter fee covers round trip economy airfare to/from TBD location in the Caribbean for everybody in the group (we recommend keeping the number of guests between 5-6 people), accommodation the night before and the night after your charter, all food and beverages on the yacht, and a fully planned itinerary and all inclusive boat activities (beach picnics, snorkeling, water sports, boat toys, etc.) There is a $1,000 APA fee that is taken as a deposit before the charter begins and is used in the event that the guest requests any one item over $100 that is not already on the boat (i.e. imported fine caviar, a magnum bottle of champagne, a special offsite scuba trip) and you will be notified ahead of time before this transaction takes place. At the end of the charter whatever amount was not used will be refunded back to the charter guest. Additionally, the charter group is responsible for a cash gratuity, which is a 15% minimum, with most guests last season giving 20% and above because they were so happy with the service provided. This gratuity is based on the wholesale cost of a 3-day charter, which is $87,500, so the standard tip would be around $15,000. Typically the head charter guest will hand the cash tip to the captain as they disembark the yacht and the gratuity is then divided up among all the crew members. Of course, this tip is at your discretion and any special requests or accommodations can be made with proper notice.

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital

There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.

How to find the right boat?

There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.

Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.

This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.

Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such  option  offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).

If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.

Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.

How to buy tickets?

Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.

“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!”  wrote  (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.

Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.

Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.

Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.

Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as  this   offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.

This  website  (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other  website  sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.

Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.

“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.

There are two main boarding piers in the city center:  Hotel Ukraine  and  Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.

Where to sit onboard?

Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.

The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.

Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.

There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,925hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 26 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 31 knots with a range of up to 500 nautical miles from her 12,700 litre fuel tanks at 26 knots. Her water tanks store around 2,400 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
