This is probably the best marina on the Gilford side of the lake! Use of the amenities at MVYC is restricted to slip owners and/or renters. Available are beaches, shower facilities, a playground for the little ones, a large grassy recreation area, and a gas dock with marine store. Most boat slips have a grassy area, upon which are set picnic tables and barbecue grills. There is a lot of back and forth activity as people visit each other. Club members tend to be social and friendly...many raft up together at various islands throughout the lake.

This year will be our 16th at Mountain View and have throughly enjoyed each one. We are on our third boat (increasing in size) and the staff has beeen able to accomodate our changing slip requirments with ease. The facility is managed by Irwin Marine and they do an awesome job with the grounds and service. We have a bukhead (grassy area behind boat) slip and the ladscaping is always well cared for with lots of flowers in planters through out the facility. The yacht club is always clean and organized as are the bath houses. The atmosphere is very friendly with most boaters returning year after year. Your Winter storage is INCLUDED in your slip fee saving you about $700.00 a season. We think MVYC is the best all around marina on the lake and will continue to boat out of there for as long as we boat!!
