Guys, this is amazing! The boat was prepared for a voyage around the world, there’s a huge amount of new and expensive equipment.

The engine is new, 2016 and 400 hours. This is less than 5% of its resource, it means that you get 95% of the resource.

A full set of sails. There’s a baby stay with a furler (this is also very cool). There’s a wind autopilot (a new one costs several thousand euro), there’s an electric autopilot, a navigator, a lazy jack, batteries, a VHF radio station, a new water tank, a new diesel tank, etc.

Most of the equipment was bought in 2020, it is almost brand new!

Storfidra is a very strong and reliable boat, round the world trips were made on it. It crossed the oceans and it is considered a real offshore mini cruiser.

The ceiling height is 1.86 meters. It is very comfortable for a boat of this size. The boat falls into the category of up to 8 meters, which means that mooring fees will be quite inexpensive.

The toilet is made as a separate room, which is also a plus for comfort.

Boatshed Lancashire are delighted to offer this Swedish built Storfidra 25. These particular double enders do not come onto the market very often and have a brilliant pedigree as sea boats. This is a lovely example and has recently benefited from a new South-Atlantic self steering wind vane and a new wind power generator. She has been rewired, has LED Navigation lights and cabin lighting, new sea toilet, new electric water pump, AIS and upgraded Nav 6. She was epoxied and anti fouled in early 2018 and is very well equiped.

havsfidra pics needed

hi guys and girls new guy here. i am in desparate need of anyone who can email me pictures of a havsfidra model by fisksatra from sweden. redoing one but got it in pieces, pics, diagrams etc. would be a great help to me. for those who don't know, a havsfidra is similar to a nordica 20. any help would be appreciated. TIA bob  

Havsdira I have a 1970 Havsfidra with 7hp Volvo Penta, I will look through photo's taken before I put it in the the water this spring. Any particular part of the boat you are interested in. Colin  

I also have a copy of the Volvo Penta manual and drawings and sections of the boat. Colin  

basically, all i have is a hull, a big box o' parts, mast, boom and rudder. i haven't been able to find too much on the net that provides the pix a simpleton like me needs. some stuff i can figure out, others--- needs an educated guess. so, anything you could provide, would be great. hull layout, rigging, interior layout and anything that shows how you may have done to the boat to fit your purposes. Havsfidra The Havsfidra a Baltic Cruiser was made as a 6m (20ft) and as Storfidra 23.4m (26ft) by Fisksatra in Sweden, based on a design from the Lyneas Shipyard in Denmark. The Havsfidra was imported to the US in the early 1970's and stopped production in the early 1980's. The Danish version the Midget is still in production as 26ft and 31 ft (broker global-yachts.co.uk ). In the late 1960's the Havsfidra 20 competed in Denmark to Greenland races. Good sources for information; havsfidra.net (Finland and Sweden, has not been up dated for several years) midgetclub.com (Netherland, updated each month) nordicaboats.com (Canada, updated most months) I will check my photo files and send some to your e-mail address this week. The is an ocean crossing boat but with only 20 ft I am not skilled or foolish enough to try open ocean sailing. The hull number is located under the sole embossed in the fiberglass over the ballast. A lifting ring is secured to the ballast at the boat center of gravity, with a capped hole in the coach roof for single point crane lifting. Make sure you have clear title before dropping a ton of money into this very well balanced hole in the water. Colin  

Havsfidra [Bob, The boat you have is not by any chance "Mian" ?.I have been looking to purchase one of these for some time now but could never find one.The only havsfidra I ever came across on the Western side of the Atlantic was Mian who was owned by Ian Major in St Maarten in the caribbean which I sailed on frequently.One hell of a little boat. Specifications and Maintenence Log

I really appreciate the links you sent me. although he had certainly already found most of those documents. I am very interested in the measurements of the boat's frames. It seems that in the chat I referenced, a user who you tell me no longer writes had those plans. I am sure that if you are the administrator you can either contact that user or give me their email I would greatly appreciate it because before starting the restoration I need to have all the technical information possible Thank you for your collaboration  

Unfortunately, I am only a moderator and so I do not have access to that member's email. If I did, I would try to send them an email to see whether they would be willing to talk with you. Forum rules would not permit me to give you their email even if I had access to it. Let me see what I can do..... But, having worked as a yacht designer, drawings rarely provide accurate information about a boat's frames. Those were generally developed by the boat builder. Jeff
