The ‘Silencio’ was built in 2001 by Perini Navi and last refitted in 2012. The 163.39ft /49.8-m custom superyacht was previously named Perseus and boasts a lavish interior, designed by Perini Navi. Her exterior styling is the work of Christian Liaigre.

The vessel comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with 4 comfortable cabins, and easily accommodates 9 crew members on board to ensure you get the most out of your time on the water.

You’ll benefit from a number of features alongside the pedigree Perini Navi design and construction, including elegant styling and furnishings, shaded al fresco dining ideal for entertaining, and an overall child-friendly feel to the vessel.

In 2013, the yacht was the winner of the 2013 Perini Navi Cup.

The yacht has a cruising speed of 11 knots, and also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or update social media.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the warmest of days.

S/Y Silencio ex. Perseus is luxury sailing charter yacht built by Perini Navi and launched in 2001 as third vessel of the 50 meters series. Her outstanding outdoor spaces include a typical sumptuous “Perini-style” aft cockpit with protected lounging and dining area, as well a large and comfortable fly-bridge. Generous formal dining salon and Motor yacht sized main salon make Silencio a wonderful charter vessel. The 50-Metre Series main deck centers on a broad saloon surrounded by wide windows, an enclosed dining room and adjoining pantry, and a separate library. Forward, the pilothouse is the indoor control center for the twin-engine propulsion and the latest Perini Navi automated sail handling. She is outfitted with the latest Perini system for monitoring shipboard functions such as machinery parameters and the Perini Navi sailing system.

Guest accommodations are amidships, where motion is least and volume greatest. The master suite, in the hull sections of maximum beam, has a spacious double bedroom and study, two large bathrooms, and a wide dressing room. The master stateroom is the full width of the ship, just aft of amidships, in the most comfortable part of the yacht for motion. There is a king size berth to the port side, spacious hanging lockers in the “sleeping room”, and open access to the owners sitting room to starboard which is laid out as an owner’s sitting room but can convert to a children’s cabin or additional guest stateroom by converting the settee. Both the stateroom and the sitting room have large plasma screens that disappear behind electrically operated cherry panels; each of these spaces also has an independent sound system. His and her bathrooms are all the way aft and full beam of the yacht. Her bath is to port, finished in rose marble, with Jacuzzi tub and shower, WC and bidet. A dressing area with extensive hanging lockers separates the two bathrooms. His bath, finished in “Verde Guatemala” marble, is to starboard and features a large Turkish steam shower outboard, toilet and vanity. Master suite, two double guest suites fitted with queen sized beds and en-suites and two twin cabins with two single beds in each, have large horizontal oval port-lights, for added natural lighting and extended outside views.

S/Y Silencio’ interior is enriched by fine joinery in cherry wood, increasingly popular for its warmth and lightness. The fore-ship is dedicated to service facilities, plus quarters and mess for nine crew. The large aft-peak stows water-sports equipment, includes a hydraulic door that serves as swim platform or tender landing. She is powered with two Deutz TBD616 engines developing in total 1958 BHP, taking her steel hull up to 15.5 Knots with cruising range of 3.100 Nautical Miles @ 13.0 Knots.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.

Super Yacht Charter brief: Super yacht Silencio (50m / 164’) is a Perini Navi sailing yacht, built in 2001, as one of the three yachts from this series.  Although a perfect charter yacht with five spacious cabins, plenty of water sport toys and a number of communal areas which includes a unique "Perini-style" aft cockpit with protected lounging and dining and spacious flybridge, this yacht can also be chartered as a racing vessel at times.  Only recently it had received new sails, which at first trials pushed her to speeds of close to 20kn which is very impressive.

Tip:     Super yacht Silencio can accommodate up to 10 guests on board and is a perfect yacht for your corporate charter to thank your staff for their hard work the previous year, or for extended families.  

Super Yacht Silencio : Perini Navi 50m/150’ Silencio is one of the most impressive sailing yachts in the yacht charter market today.  Accommodating up to 10 + 2 guests in great luxury and sailing at speeds of 15kn while charging a relatively low 150.000 US$’s / week is great value.  She was fully refurbished in 2012 and this included new sails and fabulous styling by Christian Liaigre, an iconic French Interior Designer.  Super Yacht Silencio received a completely new and full installation of entertainment and new Navigation Softwares.  She offers a generous formal dining salon comparable to that of a motor vessel. The cabin layout includes a king size berth to the port side, spacious hanging lockers and open access to the owners sitting room to starboard.  Sailing yacht Silencio has a main deck that centers on a broad saloon surrounded by large windows, an enclosed dining room and adjoining pantry, plus a separate library. The pilothouse which is located forward is the indoor control center for the twin-engine propulsion and the latest Perini Navi automated sail handling.

Charter rates: Following her withdrawal from the sales market, S/Y SILENCIO offers flat charter rates of 165,000 Eur per week throughout the season. VAT and APA Expenses as per regular MYBA contract apply for all charters.   Negotiated rates, lastminute discounts or long-term yacht charter and sabbatical or transatatlantic crossing deals can be discussed.

Accommodation:          Superyacht Silencio can accommodate up to 12 persons on board.  1 x Master (full beam), 1 VIP cabin, 1 Queen Double and 2 Twin cabin (both plus Pullman). The full beam master suite features a King bed and a separate sitting room with a pullout double couch, his and her heads (one of which has a tub). The beautiful cherry doors can be closed to make sitting room into private stateroom with its own bathroom. There are 2 twin berth cabins, each with a pullman both with ensuite head and stall showers and a Queen berth cabin with ensuite facilities.  Pullman beds suitable for children or smaller adults only.

Perini Navi super yacht Silencio (49.8m/164’) accommodates up to 12 guests in 5 cabins.  She normally cruises around the West Med in the summer and the Eastern Caribbean in the winter.  On top, she can be booked for racing events such as Perini Navi cup or Loro Piana regatta at times.  A true luxury yacht charter vessel, she can also be seen as a racer, reaching cruising speeds of 15kn easily, and maximum speeds at above 20kn in suitable conditions.  Her best features are latest interior design by Christian Liaigre, unique layout with 5 guest cabins and experienced crew for best luxury yacht charter experiences.

Accommodation

Silencio superyacht charter boat can accommodate up to 12 guests on board.  There are 2 pullman beds in two twin cabins and sitting room in the Master cabin can be converted into additional bedroom.  The two Pullman berths are suitable for children or smaller adults only.   Crew quarters and the crew mess and service facilities are located below decks forward, dedicated to a professional and friendly crew of 9 .

The 49.8m sailing yacht SILENCIO has a special summer rate in place of just $125,000 per week, down from her normal charter rate of $175,000, in Tahiti .

Built by the Perini Navi shipyard in 2001, the 50m charter yacht SILENCIO is the third hull in the shipyards 50m series and was extensively refitted in 2012 in Viareggio. With a beautiful custom interior from award-winning designer Christian Liaigre, she is a versatile and welcoming charter yacht that is fast and stable for smooth cruising.

SILENCIO is perfect for regatta charters and would perform remarkably at the Perini Navi Cup . She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in five generous staterooms and carries nine crew on board to ensure pure comfort and relaxation.

The reduced charter rate of $125,000 per week is offered in Tahiti and surrounding areas when booked before 1st June. Contact your yacht charter broker for more information.
