Ultimate Guide to the Best Rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

riverside disney yacht club

Staying at a Disney World deluxe resort usually comes with beautiful theming, nice rooms, and perks like Extended Evening Hours . One might argue, though, that one of the most beautiful deluxe resorts in Disney World is Disney’s Yacht Club .

riverside disney yacht club

This deluxe resort is a popular choice for guests wanting easy access to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, which are both just a walk or boat ride away, or because of the epic pool, Stormalong Bay, which is almost like its own waterpark. It’s easy to decide why guests stay here, but, which rooms are the best ?

The Yacht Club is a five-story deluxe resort and is themed around the refinement of a New England yachting club. The resort has a soft gray exterior accented by striking red and white striped awnings and the interior is lined with warm woods, nautical instruments, and a giant globe as the lobby centerpiece. The resort faces Crescent Lake, is close neighbors with Beach Club Resort, and has the best resort pool on property. You’ve picked a beautiful resort to spend your Disney vacation, but let’s look at the best rooms!

riverside disney yacht club

The Yacht Club rooms are elegant and stately and might be a bit “executive” and bland when compared to some of its counterparts. Keeping with the nautical theme, you’ll find warm woods, navy blue and beige contrasted against crisp white. But one of the favorite elements in the room are the navy curtain which features fictional Disney constellations and a bit of whimsy to this otherwise rather corporate feeling room.

riverside disney yacht club

There are 635 guest rooms and 21 suites at the Yacht Club. The rooms are typically 381 square feet and feature two queen-size beds, a daybed, and a desk with chairs. There are some different categories to choose from: Standard View, Garden View, Water View, and Lagoon or Pool View .

For an extra cost, there are also 70 club level or concierge rooms on the fifth floor Regatta Club. Those these rooms are basically the same as standard rooms, they do offer access to additional amenities, including:

  • An exclusive check-in area
  • A concierge cast members to assist with personal vacation needs
  • Nightly turndown service
  • Access to a club lounge stocked with complimentary food and beverages

riverside disney yacht club

4th Floor Rooms

The top floor is typically reserved for the Club level rooms, but the next best thing without that concierge price tag is the fourth floor. These rooms provide better views (no matter what you’re direction you’re looking), but particularly if you have a Pool View where lower level rooms would just give you views of the back of pool lounge chairs.

riverside disney yacht club

Gazebo View

You won’t find “Gazebo View” listed in the options, but rooms ending –48, –50, –52, –54, and –63, as well as odd-numbered room –67 through –97 over look the gazebo which make for a serene view. And you even be in for a show if one of the Disney’s Fairytale Weddings occurs there during your stay (no invitation required!).

riverside disney yacht club

Corner Rooms

Rooms that fall on the corner of buildings sometimes come with a little extra elbow room or even an extra window. For that chance to snag not just one views, but two look at these options, rooms ending in: -001, -009, -114, -122, -027, -043,  -065, -155, -163, -164, -201, -209, -210.

riverside disney yacht club

If you’re looking to be closer to EPCOT, Stormalong Bay, and the Beach Club, ask for rooms ending in -190 through -241. If you’re looking for rooms closer to the Swan and Dolphin and Hollywood Studios, ask for rooms ending in -001 to -054.

Disney’s Yacht Club: the Complete Guide

Yacht Club

Disclosure: This Disney Yacht Club overview page contains affiliate links. Read  full Disclosure Policy .

The older sister to the Beach Club Resort , the Disney Yacht Club rests on the Crescent Lake, completing the trio of resort areas on the boardwalk area.

While the Yacht Club shares some features and amenities with the Beach Club , it is a mistake to think that they are one and the same.

Created to be slightly more upscale, the Disney Yacht Club has its own unique flavor that sets it apart from its sister.

Resort Location

Contact information, disney’s country club – the disney yacht club.

While the architecture is generally the same, the subtle gray color sets the Yacht Club apart from the Beach Club . This shade also sets the upscale tone. The nautical theme is still present, however the focus is more on boatmen and sailing rather than the beach itself. Jewel tones match the variety of woods in the lobby and hallways, giving the Yacht Club the feel of a fancy ship rather than a beach resort. Throughout the resort, the décor emphasizes sailing and sea voyages, a more serious side to the ocean.

The Disney Yacht Club shares some facilities with the Beach Club , like access to the pools and fitness center. However, it has plenty of its own charms that are not to be ignored. You will also love taking advantage of the proximity to the boat rentals, which fits with the overall resort theme. Don’t forget to get out on the Disney BoardWalk and enjoy the sights!

The resort is comparable in size to the Beach Club (without the Villas), and is attached to one of the convention centers Disney has on site. This makes the Yacht Club an ideal local for a convention, large business meeting, or a wedding. Packages are available to create the perfect experience for a large gathering, and Disney is prepared whether it’s for work or pleasure.

A Voyage Through Time – The History of the Disney Yacht Club

Image of Crescent Lake at Disney Yacht Club

The Disney Yacht Club was the first of the resorts to grace Crescent Lake, opening November 5, 1990, shortly before the Beach Club later that month. Robert Stern, who had a passion for replicating the vintage American vacation experience, designed both the Yacht and Beach Clubs. Eventually, Stern would go on to add the BoardWalk Inn to this resort region, rounding it out in both theme and area. Altogether, these resorts comprise the main Epcot resort area, as well as creating their own small world of a historic New England summer.

The Yacht and Beach Clubs are opposite sides of the marine coin – one focusing on the navigation of the sea while the other fun times at the beach. Both are full of the Disney magic we know and love!

Anchor’s Away! Disney Yacht Club Resort Amenities

Rooms & suites, accommodations & benefits.

At the Disney Yacht Club, you’ll find plenty to choose from when it comes to the room selection . Decide between a water, garden, or standard view depending on your preference. Additionally, for a bit more, you can book some of these offerings with Club Level perks. The Yacht Club also has two-bedroom suites if you need something with just a bit more space.

Standard rooms and suites all have the same basic amenities:

  • Internet – Free WiFi Service
  • Telephone with voicemail
  • Coffee Maker
  • Iron & Ironing Board
  • In-Room Safe
  • Mini-refrigerator

Such conveniences are typical of a Disney resort stay, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.

At the Club Level, you can take advantage of these extra benefits:

  • Evening turndown
  • Secured key access to the club-level lounge, serving refreshments 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily
  • Access to Concierge service at the Regatta Club
  • Complimentary health club access
  • Personalized Front Desk and Guest Services

These can be particularly nice, especially if you are planning to hang out at the resort throughout your trip. That extra breakfast option doesn’t hurt either!

Room Layouts

In the standard rooms, regardless of view, you could find a number of configurations. Options include two queen beds, two queen beds and a day bed, one queen bed and a twin-size sleeper chair plus a day bed, one king bed, or one king bed and a day bed. What is great about having so many options is you can take into account the type and size of your party. From there, choose the room that best fits your needs.

Standard rooms are “all in one,” meaning the bedroom and living areas are in the same space. With that in mind, take the time to determine what fits your needs. Just traveling as a couple? Spring for the king bed rather than dealing with the extra space of the extra queen. Only have one child? The single bed and day bed would be better for you. Two kids? How much is it worth to you to give them their own places to sleep?

Two bedroom suites have a king bed in one room and two queen beds in the other. Additionally, there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa if you need just a little more space. This is a great way to get your whole party into one room while still providing privacy to everyone. Multiple bedrooms and a living area also means multiple TVs, which can be a godsend when traveling with kids (or the in-laws). We suggest piling all the kids in your group into the room with the queens, leaving the adults to the privacy of their own areas.

Stormalong Bay

Stormalong Bay is like a miniature water park, complete with a 230-foot water slide, lazy river, and whirlpool section. Oh, did I mention that the slide is shaped like a shipwreck? It’s so cool, and a great spot to snap a photo!

In addition to the amazing pool spaces, there’s actual sand at the bottom of the pool to make it feel like you’re really on the shore! A shallow section of the pool also holds a bit of extra sand for kids to play and build. This is great for your kiddos who don’t really want to get all the way in the pool, but want to join in the fun. Feel free to bring your own buckets and sand toys! Stormalong Bay is heated year-round, so no need to worry that it will feel like the ocean. Even the hot tubs are like their own personal oases, hidden throughout the pool complex like natural hot springs.

If you want to secure yourself a spot at this popular pool, you can rent a poolside cabana . Splurge a little on the extra privacy and comfort! These cabanas have their own padded furniture, television, resort phone, plush towels, and a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary soda and water. You also have access to a small safe for personal belongings you may not want to leave sitting out. While the cabana doesn’t come with food, you can order food to the cabana for an extra charge.

Know Before You Go

Stormalong Bay, sadly, is one of the worst kept secrets on Disney property. It is one of the most popular pools at Disney World , and can get crowded quickly. Part of the reason for this is that Stormalong Bay is shared between the Yacht and Beach Clubs. While Stormalong Bay certainly is big enough to accommodate both resorts, guests tend to hang around the pool for a while. Some guests even spend the whole day (or multiple days) at this inland beach. Moral of the story – if you want to go to Stormalong Bay, make sure you get there early. Or rent a cabana.

Also, make sure you have your MagicBand or phone readily available when headed to the Bay. You will need it to both get into the pool are and prove that you are a Yacht Club guest. This pool is so beloved that guests from other resorts try to sneak in. Especially during peak seasons, Cast Members may ask to scan your MagicBand to be sure you are actually staying at the Beach Club. Please don’t be offended if this happens to you – the Cast Members are just doing their jobs, and it is really to your benefit. It keeps other guests from taking your space!

Leisure Pools

Swimming pool at Disney Yacht Club

If you’re looking for somewhere a bit quieter to relax, you might want to try one of the three leisure pools. The Yacht and Beach Clubs each have their own, and the Beach Club Villas have one as well. While each pool is designed to serve the guests in those areas, all the pools at both the Yacht and Beach Clubs (including the Villas) are open to all Yacht and Beach Club guests.

Ship Shape – Massage, Spa, Salon, and Fitness

If you’re looking for a place to spoil yourself, or just get a good work out, you want Ship Shape . A massage, salon, and fitness center, it covers all your physical needs. Located at the Yacht Club, but available to all guests, Ship Shape is a great way to keep up with your workout routine while you’re on vacation. You can use the fitness center at any time of day or night, just use your MagicBand to swipe yourself in.

You should also make time for the incredible spa services, including massages and facials. Get a little “me” time with a Swedish massage for yourself, or indulge in a romantic massage for two. Add a reflexology foot massage, aromatherapy, or extra time to any massage appointment for a bit extra.

Right next store to the spa, you can find the salon. Haircuts and other treatments are available for men, women, and children. They even have a special session designed just for the kids to make them look like a Disney character ! The salon also offers a wide variety of nail services, whether you need a touch up or want to get your nails done for a special night out.

If you are planning to use either the spa or salon, you’ll need to book in advance. Call (407) 939-7727 for spa appointments and (407) 939-4526 for the salon. Only guests 18 and older can book the appointments, although younger guests can absolutely use the facilities (while accompanied by an adult). Please note, if your plans change, you need to call to cancel within six hours of your appointment window to avoid paying for the full price of your service.

Those that choose to travel with their own transportation, do have to pay the overnight parking fee for each night of your stay. At the Yacht Club, the fee is $25 a night or $33 for valet. The parking charge goes on the bill at the end of your vacation, so you don’t have to worry about paying it every day.

A major benefit to paying this fee is that you don’t have to also pay to park at the theme parks , which can save you both time and money. There’s something nice about having your own car versus waiting on Disney transportation, so don’t fret about bringing your own car. Growing up, that’s what we always did, and the benefits definitely outweigh the spending.

Sports and Recreation at the Disney Yacht Club

The Disney Yacht Club shares many of its facilities with the Beach Club, and that includes its recreation offerings. While that does mean double the guests trying to do the same activities, there’s enough offered that you won’t feel overcrowded!

I also suggest trying some of the fun surrounding the Yacht Club – there’s lots to see and do over on the BoardWalk side, as well as over by the Swan & Dolphin resorts. All of these areas are a quick walk or boat ride away, so you don’t have to worry about transportation.

Pirate Adventure Cruise

For the kids in your group, consider booking a Pirate Cruise! With the massive rise in popularity of the Disney pirate characters, these lake cruises are perfect for little adventurers.

Kiddos ages 4-12 can join a pirate crew and set sail across Crescent Lake and Epcot park’s World Showcase Lagoon. Departing from the Bayside Marina, right next to the Yacht Club, your little sailors will hear the tale “The Legend of the Albatross” while they follow clues to find a hidden treasure. At the end of the trip, the triumphant buccaneers will split the pirate bounty and enjoy a feast (snack) together!

If you’ve booked yourself something at the spa or the salon, this is a great way for your kids to be entertained and try something new, enabling you to relax and enjoy your treatment. If you have littler ones, we suggest that you make sure they are accompanied by an older child from your party.

Evening Activities

Why let the fun end when the sun goes down? Like many other resorts, the Disney Yacht Club has fun family-focused activities in the evening to help you wind down your day. Enjoy roasting marshmallows over a campfire before watching a movie under the stars!

Located on a lawn outdoors near the Beach Club volleyball courts, you’ll find Cast Members waiting for you with the materials for your delicious snack before showing a family-friendly Disney film . Sometimes the film is shown in the Solarium depending on the weather.

Traditional Sports

Want to get out and enjoy the sunshine? The Yacht Club makes available plenty of more traditional sports opportunities for all the active members of your group.

Fun for the whole family, rent a surrey bike , clattering along and ringing your bell all along the boardwalk. Enjoy a round of tennis or the jogging trails for some light exercise. Runners will also love just taking a few laps around the boardwalk, as it connects the main Epcot resort areas. This is a great way to get moving in the morning, without having to travel particularly far. If you’re up early enough, you’ll get some fantastic pictures of the BoardWalk , Yacht Club, and Beach Club!

Right by the Tidal Pool, there are a few beach volleyball courts if you’re looking for a friendly game. These are first come, first serve (no pun intended).

You can even go on a guided bass-fishing excursion if you’re dying to get out on the water. Head out onto Crescent Lake, and see what’s biting!

Boat Rentals

riverside disney yacht club

Even if you’re not a big fisherman, you can rent motorized boats of various sizes to go out and enjoy Crescent Lake. Speed around the lake in the Sea Raycers, explore the sights in the slightly larger Boston Whaler, or take the whole family on a slow and smooth pontoon ride.

The Sea Racyers are particularly great, as they are light and fast. Built for two passengers, you’ll have a blast racing your family members
just be careful of other boats! Before I could even drive I car, I was able to captain a Sea Racyer, and I loved every minute!

Transportation Options

For airline guests, the best option is Disney’s Magical Express (at least until they finish building the train !). On my most recent trip, I remembered all over again why I love this free service. It’s so nice just to get off the plane, grab your bags, and head straight down to the motor coach. Disney did just recently release that Magical Express will end in 2022, so if you’re travelling any time soon, use it before it’s gone!

Disney Magical Express bus

Like all Disney resorts , the Yacht Club also uses the Disney bus transportation, taking guests from the resort to the parks and Disney Springs. The busses won’t directly take you to other resorts, but if you head to Disney Springs you can catch a bus to a different resort. You’ll find the Yacht Club bus stop right outside the main lobby and car loop to the left. This is the only bus stop for the Yacht Club, so if your room is a bit further away you might want to account for the walking time when you’re headed to the bus. While the Yacht and Beach Club each have their own bus stop at the resort, they will take the same bus from the parks, so make sure you’re getting off at the right place.

Of course, the Yacht Club is so close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios that it might just be faster to walk. In fact, if you’re trying to do anything other than walk to Epcot, you’re going to end up costing yourself time! In terms of the Studios, it can be a bit of a hike, so there are a few other options you might want to take.

riverside disney yacht club

Since the Yacht Club is on the water, you have access to Disney’s water transportation . These boats are a fun and relaxing option, particularly if you have the time just to enjoy the ride.

There are several stops along the boardwalk ring, making it easy to cross the lake if you don’t want to walk. This boat will take you on to Epcot as well, but again walking is the most direct route. You can also take a water taxi over to the Swan and Dolphin then to Hollywood Studios. This transportation option does move at a more leisurely pace, so if you’re in a hurry you might want to choose something else. Otherwise, skip the bus and board a boat!

riverside disney yacht club

Yacht Club guests have easy access to the newest travel method, the Disney Skyliners . A Disney Skyliner station is right at the International Gateway to Epcot, which is the back entrance of the park. Scooch on over from the resort and you’ll be off through the air! This is a great way to get to Hollywood Studios or to the other resorts on the line – Riviera Resort and Caribbean Beach.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is part of the Epcot Resort area. When getting off of Florida’s I-4, you’ll want to exit on to Epcot Center Drive before turning on to East Buena Vista Drive. The resort will be on the right, past the BoardWalk resort. Make sure you don’t turn into the Beach Club by mistake!

While you can trust your GPS to take you there, it might be worth looking at the map ahead of time. Occasionally, the GPS will take you to the incorrect entrance.

Disney Transportation Map

Our Disney Transportation Map is an interactive map designed to help you plan your next Disney vacation. Use it to determine which Disney Resort is the best fit for your next trip to Florida!

How to Use the Disney Transportation Map and Guide

The massive Walt Disney World Resort transportation system can be confusing. Use our Disney World Transportation Map/Guide to navigate your way around the park. We provide the bus, monorail, and boat routes you will need to reach your destination.

To use the interactive Disney World Transportation Map and Guide, simply click on the name of the Disney Resort you wish to depart from or arrive at. You will see the Disney transportation options available to you. The transportation routes are color-coded and highlighted to correspond with the information in the legend key. Note that certain destinations do not have direct transportation options, and you may need to take a connecting mode of transportation to reach your destination.

Walt Disney World Transportation Map and Guide

Disney Transport  is a massive public transportation system at Disney World that provides efficient transportation within the park. All modes of Disney transportation are complementary (i.e., FREE) and open to guests staying at a Disney Resort and staying off-property.

The system consists of buses, monorails, watercraft (water taxis, boats, and ferries), and other assorted modes of transport heading to areas throughout Disney World. Disney Transport provides guests with a wide variety of transportation options, including resorts to theme parks, theme parks to theme parks, resorts to resorts, and Disney Springs (the shopping, dining, and entertainment district). In other words, where ever you want to go to Disney World, you can get there using some form of Disney transportation. Plus, there are taxi services like Uber and Lyft within the park if you so choose.

Because of Disney’s large size – 25 Disney Resorts, 4 theme parks, and two water parks – deciding which mode of transportation you should use to get from point A to point B can be confusing. Thus, we have created a Disney World transportation map to help you find the best route to your destination. Continue reading for detailed information about transportation routes and pickup locations to and from each Disney Resort listed on the map.

How Does Walt Disney World Resort Transportation Work?

Disney provides transportation using buses, ferries/boats, monorails, as well as a few other options like railroad and parking lot trams. One of the great things about Disney transportation lines is that it is entirely free to use, which means you can potentially spend no money on transportation during your stay at the park. Of course, there are plenty of  parking lots if you choose to use your own car (you can even get free parking if you’re staying onsite) — and you can use taxi/Uber/Lyft options (extra charge) to speed up your arrival if necessary. However, if you plan on staying at a Disney Resort, there really is no need to open your wallet to get around Disney World.

As you can see from the Disney World Transportation Map, there is a wide availability of free transportation inside the park. In addition, every Disney Resort has stations/stops to catch various modes of transportation to a theme park, water park, and other destinations around Disney World.

Buses at Disney World

Buses provide Disney World guests a mode of transportation in locations where monorail or boat are not available, and walking is not an option. You can find Disney’s bus service connecting all in-park Disney resort hotels with each theme park and water park (most buses provide direct service), to/from Disney Springs, and service between parks.  Like all modes of Disney transportation, bus service is complimentary and offered to both visitors staying at a Walt Disney World Resort as well as those staying  off-site .

On average, Disney buses run every 20 minutes from all Walt Disney World Resorts, although wait times can vary. To accommodate breakfast dining reservations and parks with Extra Magic Hours, bus service to the theme parks typically begins at 6:30-7 a.m. (running on a less frequent basis). Buses run at full operation roughly one hour before the park opens and stop running up to 2 hours after the park closes in the evening. Buses to/from Disney Springs remain in operation until 2 a.m. Check with your Walt Disney World Resort for the latest information.

Larger  Disney World hotels have bus stops inside the resort grounds, whereas smaller resorts typically have stops near the resort’s front entrance. The bus stops for theme parks are located near the park entrance, and the Disney Springs stop is located near the Town Center entrance.

Transportation and Ticket Center & Monorail Service at Disney World

Disney Transportation Map

With over 150,000 daily riders, the  Disney World monorail  is one of the world’s most heavily used monorail systems. There are three monorail lines at Disney, all originating from the  Transportation and Ticket Center  (TTC). The Disney World Transportation Map lists them all. Monorail service is free for Resort guests and non-guests.

The “ Resort ” monorail line loops between Magic Kingdom and the TTC, making stops at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Contemporary Resorts.

The “ Express ” monorail bypasses the resorts and travels directly between the TTC and Magic Kingdom.

The “ Epcot ” monorail line provides service between the TTC and Epcot.

Transportation from a Deluxe Walt Disney World Resort to the Theme Parks

Guests staying at the Boardwalk-area resorts can either walk or take a ferry boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and buses to other theme parks and water parks.

Guests of other  Disney World Deluxe resorts  will use bus transportation to get to their theme park destination.

*see below for resort-specific transportation options

Transportation from Value and Moderate Disney Resorts to the Theme Parks

Guests staying at Value and Moderate resorts will  not  have access to either boats or monorail but  do  have access to buses that go directly to each theme park. Walking directly to a nearby park from your hotel may even be possible. For guests staying at Fort Wilderness, Disney offers a free shuttle service around the resort, making internal loops to take guests to different areas of the gigantic campground.

Transportation Between Resorts

Taking the free Disney transportation between parks can be confusing to the uninitiated. We recommend that you head to the nearest theme park and hop on a bus, monorail, or ferry to your destination. You may also find that heading to Disney Springs and catching a bus from there is an easy option. If time is of major concern, the quickest way to travel between resorts is by taxi/Uber/Lyft. This should cost you in the $10-$15 range, but the time you save may be worth the added expense.

Transportation from Disney Springs

Disney Springs  provides free parking throughout the day. While this may sound tempting to guests with cars, be warned that there is no direct transportation to the theme parks from Disney Springs. You can certainly take a bus or water taxi to other transportation hubs and find connecting services to the parks from there. Just be aware that transportation originating from Disney Springs will take longer than from other locations within Disney World. On a positive note, one-way service from the parks to Disney Springs  is  provided after 4 pm.

Transportation from Disney Deluxe Resorts

That said, you will find buses that service all Disney World theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. As you exit the main lobby, the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus station is on the left. Disney Minnie Vans, Uber, Lyft, and Taxi Service

For those of you who don’t mind spending the extra money to get better service, then Walt Disney World has a few options for you. Guests can opt for the convenience and playfulness of the Disney Minnie Vans service or the standard on-demand ride services of Lyft and Uber. And yes, there are still plenty of old-school taxis within the park as well. Any of these options will improve your comfort level and save you time.

Disney Minnie Vans

Disney Minnie Vans is Walt Disney World’s on-demand ride service. These vehicles operate daily from 6:30 am to 12:30 am and are available to anyone within the park.

Although Disney has partnered with Lyft on this service,  Disney Minnie Vans  are actually operated by Disney and driven by Disney Cast Members (Disney employees). To schedule a Disney Minnie Van, you simply open the standard Lyft app and call for a pickup as you would for a normal Lyft ride.

As far as the vehicles go, the vans are more like midsize SUVs. They are painted red with white polka dots (a la Minnie Mouse). Each vehicle will hold six passengers and carry two adjustable car seats for children.

The cost of Minnie Vans is much higher than a taxi, Uber, and standard Lyft rides. Be aware the Guests can only be picked up in designated pickup zones and not from sidewalks or non-designated areas. Minnie Vans are able to drop you off directly at the Magic Kingdom or next to Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness or anywhere else you wish to go.

Disney Minnie Vans are a good option if you don’t mind paying for comfort and point-to-point convenience.

Lyft and Uber

On-demand Lyft and Uber services are available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

While cheaper than Minnie Vans and regular taxi services, be aware that “surge pricing” is in effect during periods of high demand. Prices for Lyft and Uber could potentially exceed taxi rates during this time. But, for the most part, Lyft and Uber will be the cheapest transportation option (other than the free Disney Transportation options listed above).

Using an on-demand ride service like Uber and Lyft is fairly straightforward. Just download one of the apps and use it on your Android or iPhone. Remember to stay put once you call for the car, so there is no confusion as you meet your driver.

Taxis are located throughout Walt Disney World Resort and use different brand names (Yellow Cab, City, Checker, or Safety). However, all the taxis are yellow, and all are operated by Mears Transportation (a company that has an official relationship with Disney). We recommend that you use the yellow cabs (sedans and vans) with meters, lest you pay more than you have to.

Call (407) 699-9999 to schedule a pickup, or have your hotel’s front desk call over to a Yellow Cab or taxi to wait for you.

Port Orleans Riverside vs Yacht Club

I know you can’t really compare moderates and deluxes, but I guess my question is which will tweens like better Yacht club or Port Orleans Riverside? My DH, DD 12, myself, and DD best friend 12 are coming down in July to spend a week. This is the first time we are bringing a friend(friend has been to Disney but always stayed off property). We have pretty much stayed at all resorts at some point. We will tour in the morning and at night. During the heat of the day we either be poolside or at Disney Springs. I just would like to know which resort people think the tweens would like best?

Dis veteran.

We have stayed at Beach Club and Riverside and our daughter, age 12, prefers the Beach Club. She loves the pool there as do I. Plus the Boardwalk is fun to walk around at night for an evening.

MaC410

I'm a bit biased when it comes to this since the Yacht/Beach Club and Boardwalk area is by far my favorite place to stay. If cost isn't an issue it really does seem like the Yacht Club would be your best choice. The Yacht and Beach Club has the absolute best pool on property. If you are planning to spend a lot of time poolside Stormalong Bay is the pool you want to be at. The location of the Yacht Club also makes it very easy to get back to your resort midday when you are at Epcot or Hollywood Studios. It's a very short walk from Epcot and a decent walk or short boat ride from Hollywood Studios.

Tigerlulu

Beach club/Yacht Club hands down. The atmosphere at night is awesome. I hated riverside. Loved FQ but won’t stay riverside again. But the BC/YC area is absolutely in another league.

I think Yacht Club will be a lot of fun for your daughter and friend. The pool is great and the Boardwalk has a lot of fun activities on it. It's always nice to be in walking distance of two parks as well.

I agree with everyone else and would pick yc. Being there when it’s so hot it’ll be nice for them to have SAB to swim in. It’s also super convenient to have Epcot to walk to and the boat to hs.

TJA

I have 2 girls and YC would win that one without a blink. The pool, the boardwalk, walking to 2 parks, the views, rent surrey bike while fireworks are happening, walk to mini golf, Beaches & Cream.....

disny_luvr

I agree with everyone else and would go with YC. Last year we did a split stay between POR and YC. We really, really like POR, but SAB at YC cannot be beat, especially in the summer. I think your daughter and friend could have a great time there. Also, walking to two parks is such a nice perk. Unless you have a car, you’re pretty much stuck taking the bus everywhere from POR, except Disney Springs of course. The whole atmosphere of the Boardwalk area is nice and fun and I don’t think you can go wrong with a stay at YC.

jennyq87

Adult me says Yacht Club - it’s my favorite resort on property! But teenager me would say Riverside. Especially if you like to spend time at Disney Springs - having the boat option is so nice!

a742246

And, and, and I caught a fish this big!

Another vote for Yacht Club. Although, Port Orleans would be my choice for moderates.

gharter

Big fan of the Boardwalk area. Love being able to walk to EPCOT and HS. The pool at BC/YC can't be beat for the kids. Port Orleans is really good for a moderate.

Transportation Options and Tips for Disney’s Yacht Club (The Expert’s Guide)

Staying at Disney’s Yacht Club means you’ll have access to several modes of transportation from the resort. But what is the most efficient way to get from the resort to where you’re going?

We’ve got the answers. Below, we’ll discuss every transportation tip you need to know for planning a vacation at Disney’s Yacht Club. We have stayed at this resort countless times and know all the ins and outs!

We recommend reviewing this entire guide in preparation for your trip. Then save it if you need a quick reference while on-site. But if you’re already there, here are a few quick links to some of the main destinations at Walt Disney World from the Yacht Club.

  • How to Get from Disney’s Yacht Club to Magic Kingdom
  • How to Get from Disney’s Yacht Club  to Epcot
  • How to Get from Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • How to Get from Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • How to Get from Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney Springs

Can you imagine sitting at a bus stop at Walt Disney World and waiting for a bus that’s not coming? I would be willing to bet that scenario happens daily at Disney’s Yacht Club.

Over the years, we’ve often witnessed guests waiting at the bus stop for a bus to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Sometimes, they’ve been waiting a while. Other times, they get to the bus stop, start looking at the wait signs, and immediately realize they’ve made an error.

Time is precious at Walt Disney World, and while we can’t control how long we have to wait for anything, we can learn how to use transportation to our advantage. So let’s learn how to navigate our ship, in this case–the little Friendship boats that dock immediately behind the resort!

Friendship Boat passing Disney's Yacht Club

Disney’s Yacht Club Transportation Options

The following forms of transportation are available at Disney’s Yacht Club:

  • Friendship Boats
  • Disney’s Bus Service
  • Skyliner (within walking distance)

*You can also walk to two theme parks from the resort, which we’ll discuss in more detail below.

Disney’s Yacht Club to Magic Kingdom

For Magic Kingdom, you’ll want to take the bus. Yacht Club’s bus stop is conveniently outside the resort’s front doors.

Disney’s Yacht Club shares its bus service with Disney’s Beach Club, its sister resort. So when you board the bus at the Yacht Club, you’ll stop at the Beach Club. After that, you’ll continue to the park.

Disney’s Yacht Club is the first stop when returning to the resort from Magic Kingdom. So you’ll be at an advantage on the return trip.

Disney's Yacht Club bus to Magic Kingdom

Disney’s Yacht Club to Epcot

You can get to Epcot from Disney’s Yacht Club in two ways. Since Disney’s Yacht Club is part of the Epcot Resorts Area , you are within short walking distance of Epcot.

#1 Walking to Epcot from the Yacht Club

How short is the walk to Epcot? Most will be able to walk out the back door of the Yacht Club and arrive at Epcot’s International Gateway in less than 10 minutes.

When you exit the resort’s lobby (on the resort side), you’ll take a left at the lighthouse and continue straight until you reach Epcot. As you can see from the picture below, it’s a gorgeous walk along stunning Crescent Lake.

Walkway next to the water from Disney's Yacht Club to Epcot

#2 Taking a Friendship Boat to Epcot from the Yacht Club

Alternatively, you can continue straight to the lighthouse when you exit the Yacht Club. You can board one of Disney’s Friendship Boats and take it to Epcot from there. However, the boats take longer than walking.

The boat departs Yacht Club and continues across the lake to Disney’s Boardwalk. There, it will stop and unload before continuing to Epcot. This route takes approximately 15 minutes. You’ll board on the left-hand side of the dock if you decide to take the boat to Epcot.

Yacht Club to Epcot via Boat Service

Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Similar to traveling to Epcot, you’ll have two options for traveling to Disney’s Hollywood Studios from the Yacht Club.

#1 Walking to Hollywood Studios from the Yacht Club

First, you can walk to Hollywood Studios. However, I would caution that you know the length of the walk. We’ve mapped it, and it’s approximately 1.25 miles between Disney’s Yacht Club and Hollywood Studios.

This is one of our favorite “long” walks at the Walt Disney World Resort, but it’s not for everybody. Some days, it’s not even for us, especially when the sun is beating down so much that you might have two seconds to enjoy an ice cream cone before the entire thing turns into a–happy snowman.

That said, the serene walk is one of the best ways to escape crowds on the way back to the resort. Take it slow and allow yourself to decompress.

#2 Taking a Friendship Boat to Hollywood Studios from Yacht Club

When taking the boat to Hollywood Studios, you’ll want to board on the right-hand side of the dock. On this route, you’ll stop at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Hotel to load and unload. Then, you’ll continue to Hollywood Studios.

Disney Yacht Club Boat Service

Disney’s Friendship Boats are a pleasant way to travel. There is one row of exterior seats on the back of each boat, but most of the seating is inside. So, if you get in line early, you might be able to snag a seat outside.

On the return trip from Hollywood Studios, you’ll stop at the Swan and Dolphin first before arriving at the Yacht Club. We have a complete guide that discusses Disney’s Friendship Boat routes if you want to learn more.

Boat to Hollywood Studios from the Yacht Club

Disney’s Yacht Club to Animal Kingdom

You’ll take a bus from the Yacht Club to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It takes approximately 15 minutes to travel from the resort to Animal Kingdom. However, loading and unloading can take extra time when you stop at the Beach Club. Again, you’ll be the first stop on the return trip.

Disney Yacht Club to Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney Springs

You’ll also need to take a bus from Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney Springs. On our last visit, this was the longest route because the bus stopped at Yacht Club, Beach Club, and then at the Boardwalk.

While this isn’t always the case, I wanted to mention it because the resorts may share buses during slower parts of the day. Regardless, you’ll be the first stop on the return trip from Disney Springs.

Yacht Club to Disney Springs

Accessibility at Disney’s Yacht Club

Most transportation options at Disney’s Yacht Club accommodate guests with accessibility needs. Disney provides an overview of each form of transportation on their website.

All bus stops have a separate spot for guests in wheelchairs and ECVs to wait. Additionally, the Friendship Boats accommodate most wheelchairs and ECVs. Disney has an excellent resource on their site if you want to learn more: Transportation and Mobility Disabilities at Disney World

Bus stops have a marker for guests in wheelchairs and ECVS.

Disney’s Yacht Club to Typhoon Lagoon

You’ll have to take a bus from the Yacht Club to Disney Springs to reach Typhoon Lagoon. At Disney Springs, you’ll board a transfer bus to Typhoon Lagoon.

You will return this same way. However, when you return to Disney Springs at the end of the day, you’ll have to locate the bus stop for Yacht Club.

Previously, Disney offered direct bus service to and from the resorts to the water parks. If this changes, signage at the bus stop will indicate which bus to take.

You may notice in the photo below under Typhoon Lagoon it says, “Take the Disney Springs bus and transfer.” You’ll want to confirm this when you arrive at the Yacht Club’s bus stop.

Transfer bus to Typhoon Lagoon from the Yacht Club

Disney’s Yacht Club to Blizzard Beach

You’ll also take a transfer bus to Blizzard Beach. However, you’ll take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for this water park. When you exit the Disney’s Animal Kingdom bus, you’ll board a transfer bus to Blizzard Beach.

On return, you’ll take a bus from Blizzard Beach to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You’ll have to locate Disney’s Yacht Club’s bus stop from there.

Side note: When we stay at Disney’s Yacht Club, we typically like to spend an entire resort day at Stormalong Bay . So we rarely visit the water parks.

However, driving to the water parks is much easier (or taking a car service) than using the buses. While the transfer buses aren’t the end of the world, they are a pain. That’s especially true when everyone is tired at the end of the day, and you’ve got wet swimsuits in tow, among other things.

distance from the bus stop to the Yacht Club

Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney’s Boardwalk (and Epcot Resorts)

Those staying at Disney’s Beach Club will likely visit Disney’s Boardwalk Inn at least once during their vacation. Disney’s Boardwalk has several excellent restaurants. We have a list with an overview of the restaurants at Disney’s Boardwalk if you want to learn more.

You’ll have two options for getting to the Boardwalk. First, you can walk. It takes about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace.

Or you can take the Friendship Boat (on the Epcot side) and exit at the Boardwalk. This will only take a few minutes, plus how long you must wait for the boat.

You can also walk or boat to the Swan and Dolphin Hotel. If you’re visiting the Swan Reserve, you can still walk. But if you boat, you’ll exit at the Swan and Dolphin and then walk to the Swan Reserve.

Since Disney’s Beach Club Resort is connected to the Yacht Club via an indoor/outdoor walkway, you can easily walk back and forth between them. If it’s raining on the walk back from Epcot, you’ll want to enter the Beach Club’s lobby and take the covered walkway back to the Yacht Club.

view of Disney's Boardwalk from the Yacht Club's boat dock

Disney’s Yacht Club to the Monorail Resorts

Additionally, most guests will want to visit the  monorail resorts  for dining or touring. You can take a bus from Disney’s Yacht Club to Magic Kingdom to do this.

From there, you will have to walk through security at Magic Kingdom. Then you can walk, boat, or monorail to the following resorts:

  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (walk, boat, monorail)
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (boat, monorail, technically can  walk via the Grand Floridian walkway to Magic Kingdom)
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort (walk or monorail)

Disney’s Yacht Club to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness

If you want to visit Fort Wilderness or Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, you can take a bus to Magic Kingdom. You’ll then take a boat from Magic Kingdom to either resort.

Of course, these are not the only ways to travel back and forth to the above-mentioned resorts. You could always take a boat or walk to Hollywood Studios and then board a bus to any of those resorts as long as it’s within the park’s operating hours.

Boat Service at Disney World

Disney’s Yacht Club to the Skyliner Resorts

Additionally, at some point, you might want to ride the Disney Skyliner or visit the Skyliner Resorts . Skyliner stations are available near the entrance of Hollywood Studios and at the Epcot’s International Gateway .

Epcot will be the nearest location to Disney’s Yacht Club. From there, the Skyliner travels in this order:

  • Epcot International Gateway
  • Disney’s Riviera Resort
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach

At Disney’s Caribbean Beach, you must exit the Skyliner and reboard another line to one of the following:

  • Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Or you could always return to Disney’s Riviera and Epcot.

Skyliner station near Disney's Yacht Club

Yacht Club to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

For visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we usually take a bus from the Yacht Club to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Then, we’ll take a bus from the Animal Kingdom to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Note that the bus makes two stops at the Lodge. The first is Kidani Village, and the second is Jambo House. You’ll want to know which location is your intended destination.

You can also boat or walk to Hollywood Studios and take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney’s Yacht Club to the Disney Springs Resorts

If you would like to visit one of the resorts near Disney Springs, you can take a bus from the Yacht Club to Disney Springs. You’ll have these options:

  • Walk or take a water taxi from the Disney Springs Marketplace to Disney’s Saratoga Springs
  • Take a water taxi from the Disney Springs Marketplace to Old Key West Resort, Port Orleans-French Quarter, or Port Orleans-Riverside.

If you do not want to walk across Disney Springs and boat to these resorts, an alternative would be to take a boat to Hollywood Studios (during hours of operation) and then take a bus to that resort.

Airport to Disney’s Yacht Club

Lastly, when traveling from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), you’ll need to arrange transportation to the resort. Disney no longer offers transportation between the airport and the Walt Disney World Resort.

Tip: If you find yourself in need of travel outside of complimentary transportation hours, you can order a car service (i.e., Lyft, Uber, Taxi, or Minnie Van). We try to avoid the extra expense as much as possible. But if we had late dining reservations or comparable, we would take a car service back to our hotel.

Final Thoughts on Transportation at Disney’s Yacht Club

Did you find this transportation guide for Disney’s Yacht Club helpful? Do you have any questions about the transportation options at this resort?

Hi, I'm Amber the owner of Resorts Gal . We have stayed at every single Disney Resort Hotel. Our philosophy? We believe you can have an incredible time at the resorts without ever setting foot in a theme park. We live near the parks and visit weekly and would love for you to follow along.

Wonderful , concise advice! My family of 6 will be staying at the Disney Yacht Club for 5 days beginning Nov 7
our 1st visit to Disneyworld! Coming from Massachusetts we will be arriving at Orlando @ 10am and would like to take transport all together to resort. How can we reserve transportation from airport to Yacht Club?

Thank you! Many people use Mears Connect, a bus service from the airport to Disney: https://www.mearsconnect.com/

You could also use a private car service to get to and from the airport.

Thank you for all detailed information. But I realized that we won’t have many options coming from After Hour at Hollywood Studios. We’ll probably drive a car, if we don’t want to walk at 1am.

You are welcome! We walked back to the Yacht Club when we did After Hours. I didn’t know it at the time, but was told later that bus service is provided to Beach, Yacht, and Boardwalk at the end of After Hours. I assume it starts after the boats finish.

Consider these photos, each of which is a room view you could get at random if you just let Disney make the decision for you. Even having a room just one floor higher can make all the difference.

Make the premium worth it.

Should the first thing your family sees every morning to be a giant gray electrical box? Or a hunk of metal support? Wouldn't it be better to have a sweeping panorama of the pool and resort grounds, where you can brag to your family that you found this exact room just for them?

Room at a Deluxe Resort, Disney's Yacht Club

The Animal Kingdom Lodge fuses African tribal architecture with the style of East African national park lodges. Thatched-roof guest-room wings fan out from the lobby. Savannah-facing rooms overlook animal grazing areas.

riverside disney yacht club

The Beach Club's bright blue color scheme highlights beach themes (of course). Don't miss Disney World's best pool: Stormalong Bay.

riverside disney yacht club

The BoardWalk is a detailed replica of an early-20th century East Coast beach boardwalk hotel, with facades of hotels, diners, and shops to create an interesting waterfront skyline.

riverside disney yacht club

One of Disney's classic designs, the Contemporary A-frame design permits the Magic Kingdom monorail to pass through the building's immense, open lobby. Don't miss the 90-foot tall tile mosaic in the lobby.

riverside disney yacht club

Walt Disney World's flagship hotel, the Grand Floridian combines 19th-century, ocean-resort styled verandas, intricate latticework, dormers, and turrets under a distinctive red-shingle roof.

riverside disney yacht club

The South Pacific tropics are recreated at this Deluxe resort, with two- and three-story Hawaiian longhouses set among some of Disney's best landscaping. Watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the pool.

riverside disney yacht club

Inspired by the grand, rustic Arts and Crafts national park lodges of the early 20th century, the Wilderness Lodge lobby features exposed log-cabin timbers and an 82-foot tall stone fireplace.

riverside disney yacht club

The Yacht Club's nautical beach theme includes model ships and antique navigation instruments. The Resort's best features are its top-rated pool, walking paths to EPCOT and the Studios, and Skyliner access.

riverside disney yacht club

These pre-fab log cabins are warm and homey, with lots of wood paneling. All cabins have A/C, TVs, fully-equipped kitchens, and dining tables. Tons of recreation. Most who stay here love it.

riverside disney yacht club

Caribbean Beach has two dozen colorful, two-story model-style buildings separated into areas named for Caribbean Islands. It's got great landscaping and theming, with access to Disney's Skyliner.

riverside disney yacht club

The Coronado Springs resort is inspired by northern Mexico and the American Southwest, with styles that would fit on a Mexican beach or high desert plains. The Gran Destino Tower looms nearby, too.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney's French Quarter section is a sanitized version of New Orleans’s Vieux CarrĂ©. With shuttered windows, and old-fashioned iron lampposts, it's one of Disney's smallest and most charming resorts.

riverside disney yacht club

Port Orleans Riverside has everything from early 19th-century Louisana mansions, to rustic-styled cabins in a section called Alligaot Bayou. It's big, but generally well done. Some rooms sleep 5 people.

riverside disney yacht club

All-Star Movies is themed to Disney's classic film franchises. Each three-story motel-style building is fronted by 40-foot tall movie icons, from giant popcorn buckets to Disney film characters.

riverside disney yacht club

Each All-Star Music buildings shows a different musical style, such as country, rock, jazz. and calypso. You'll walk by 40-foot tall saxophones, guitars, and maracas on the way to your room.

riverside disney yacht club

The All-Star Sports buildings feature huge sports equipment as icons: bright football helmets, giant tennis rackets, and baseball bats the size of buildings. The huge, lightly-themed pool is very popular.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney’s Art of Animation is a highly-themed, value-level resort at Walt Disney World. Art of Animation includes both standard hotel rooms and “family suites,” which are indeed perfect for families.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney's best and most popular Value resort, Pop Century has well-designed rooms, a decent food court, and Skyliner access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. It's probably the best value-for-money option on site.

riverside disney yacht club

A unique, 15-story resort in the shape of a letter C, Bay Lake has excellent views of the Magic Kingdom on one side, and Bay Lake on the other. Its rooms are some of the quietest on property.

riverside disney yacht club

The Boulder Ridge rooms are a short, covered outside walk from the Wilderness Lodge. The rustic decor features pine furniture and textured rugs. A large, private pool might be its best feature.

riverside disney yacht club

Copper Creek rooms are spread out among the main Wilderness Lodge building and in two-bedrooms cabins along Bay Lake. Whatever the rooms might lack in theming, they more than make up for in comfort and space.

riverside disney yacht club

Just across from the Animal Kingdom Lodge's main building is Kidani Village. Kidani has its own savannah and animals, a well-themed pool, and plenty of recreation options.

riverside disney yacht club

The Beach Club Villas have the same beach-centric decor as the Beach Club Resort, plus an extra quiet pool when you're ready to relax after Stormalong Bay.

riverside disney yacht club

The BoardWalk Villas are decorated in green and pink pastels, with lots of bright tile in the kitchens and baths. Most rooms have balconies, too.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney's first timeshare resort, Old Key West has two- and three-story buildings themed to the Caribbean and Florida Keys. The buildings sit around a golf course and lake in small, charming neighborhoods.

riverside disney yacht club

The Villas and Bungalows keep the Polynesian's tropical theme and offer larger rooms with more amenities, plus a private pool. The 2-bedroom bungalows have excellent views of the nightly fireworks and water pageant.

riverside disney yacht club

Some of the best rooms on property, the Riviera villas are bright, cheerful, and spacious. The pools are good, on-site dining is very good, and you've got Skyliner access to EPCOT and the Studios.

riverside disney yacht club

Saratoga Springs is themed to a Victorian-era retreat in upstate New York, and roomy and well-priced for villas, plus close to Disney Springs. It's best to have your own car here.

riverside disney yacht club

Unique among Disney villas are these eight-sided, two-bedroom villas on stilts. Well-decorated and comfortable, they're great if you plan to spend a lot of time relaxing, not great if you're mostly in the parks.

riverside disney yacht club

Consistently rated as one of Disney World's top 3 properties, the Grand Floridian villas combine the architectural charm of the main resort with much larger and very comfortable rooms.

By Myranda Juarez Leave a Comment

It seems like lately when Mama Kelce (aka Donna Kelce, mom to NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce ) takes to social media, the whole world perks its ears up. So when she posted about her recent stay at Disney World, we found ourselves instantly curious.

Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club

We already knew the Kelce Family seemed to have a fantastic time celebrating with each other while Jason played in the Pro Bowl in Orlando , but the magic didn’t seem to stop there. Mama Kelce also took some “time out” to drop a hint as to which Disney World hotel is her favorite to visit! [Read more…]

REVIEW: We’re STILL Dreaming About Our Meal At This Disney World Hotel!

Sometimes, you’re just looking for a solid food option at Disney World without a lot of fuss, and we can relate.

riverside disney yacht club

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

We’ve checked out the updated menus at several of the Disney World hotel lounges and even had decent meals at hotel pool bars and none of them had quite the options that this restaurant does. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is known for some fancy dining options, but how do their quick-service food options measure up in comparison. Let’s find out! [Read more…]

You Might Want To Sit Down For This: Menu Changes Just Hit EPCOT’s France Pavilion

Twixt Bundt Cake

This week alone, we saw the closing of a classic Disney attraction as it gets updated to reopen later this year . We got a clue that a popular character dining experience might soon return . We learned that beignets would soon be on the menu at Magic Kingdom . Disney World restaurants also saw some changes, so let’s take a look at how those menus were updated this week.

REVIEW: Our FAVORITE Disney World Meal is BACK, but Is It as Good as We Remember?

By Myranda Juarez 2 Comments

We’ve reviewed lots of good lounges around Disney World lately, but we’re not sure that any of them will be able to compare to THIS meal!

riverside disney yacht club

Disney’s really thrown us curveballs lately with their new fast food bread service and snacks better than grandma made them , but when we heard that a beloved menu item was returning to Crew’s Cup Lounge, we HAD to go out and see if it was just as good as it once was! [Read more…]

California Grill’s Menu CHANGED This Week in Disney World

By Robin Burks 1 Comment

Well, it has certainly been a busy Disney World week.

riverside disney yacht club

Melty the Snowman

For starters, we learned that one of our favorite quick service spots in Disney Springs has changed (and we’re still shocked). But, hey, we did get to eat THREE holiday donuts and drink some Monorail-themed coffee . We also noticed some changes on some Disney World restaurant menus we need to tell you about.

NEWS: Disney World Just Brought Back MY FAVORITE MEAL After 3 YEARS!

By Jasmine Kocon 5 Comments

We have big DFB food news!

riverside disney yacht club

Crew’s Cup Lounge

We know there’s a lot of restaurants (like…you know…hundreds) to try during your short trip to Disney World. But when I tell you that you should ditch the park for at least a lunch or dinner at the Crew’s Cup Lounge in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort , I mean , mean it. Seriously, this is a place you do. not. want to miss! Especially RIGHT NOW.

riverside disney yacht club

But first, a little backstory: We had one of the best meals ever at this spot back in 2019. But when it reopened after the COVID shutdown, one of our favorite menu items didn’t come back!

Recently, we got some very kind emails from some very kind readers who gave us hope that the prodigal menu item had returned! So we had to go check it out!

California Grill, San Angel Inn, and MORE Disney World Restaurants CHANGED This Week

When it comes to Disney food, it’s been a VERY busy week.

riverside disney yacht club

Horchata Cold Brew

Although we didn’t find much in the way of Thanksgiving food in the parks, we did get to enjoy the first day of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays where we feasted on cookies , funnel cake , churros , and more. During all that time, though, we were keeping a close eye on menus at Disney World restaurants and noticed some changes.
