This was my third time playing this course and it was in excellent condition! Newport Bay is one of my favorite courses in all of OC. The greens rolled very true and had good pace to them. Being Memorial Day weekend the pace of play was very slow, but that's to be expected. Can't wait to come back!!

I really enjoyed this golf course. I went off peak time so I didn't pay as much. Therefore, I'm basing my review on value and for under $50 with cart, this place was a heck of a deal. If I were to pay $100+ I would rate it a 4 star. Anyway, the course was in good condition. It was a dryer course than I'm used to here in OC, which I like a lot. The views of the bay were nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the Newport Bay Course.

This is a fun golf course which is also well maintained. The kind of place you wouldn't mind playing everyday. Fair but interesting. The greens make it a pretty good challenge as does the wind this close to the ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful and very professional. The facilities are okay.

Yearly trip to the beach and a yearly round of hellish golf and this year - this was the target as far as a new course. There are two courses here with us choosing the easier of the two. $40 for a round isn't bad with our bud Jordan being some member of some type etc etc. Course was well maintained, no complaints there but inside the place may need an upgrade and the kitchen to be open later than 4. No one eats late there? I played like garbage and the rough on the seaside course probably looks now like an Easter egg hunt. But - still a good time nonetheless

Visited on 8/13/23 and booked our reservation through Golf now. When we arrived they seemed uninterested in us and bothered. Pro shop desk worker didn't believe we even had a tee time and his attitude began from there on out. We pulled up our golf now confirmation picture and placed it on the countertop in front of the pro shop desk worker, he doesn't notice the phone and then proceeds to rudely say "that would have been nice to have earlier". The starter was polite and helped put our bags in the cart. Once we were on our way to the first hole we were told that we can we aren't allowed to play 18 holes and we have to play the back 9 twice. Online the seaside course shows 2 scorecards for the front and back 9. I have never golfed the same 9 holes twice ever in my life and coincidentally we are told this after the man is rude to us. Our positive energy we walked in with is immediately tarnished for the round and we all felt uncomfortable for the "18" holes. Don't ever golf here if you are looking for a peaceful golf outing in Ocean City. I recommend Eagles Landing as a way better quality and customer service option.

Had a great 4 day play stay at the Newport Bay Golf Course. Greens, fairways, tee boxes & SERVICE was A++. Bret and the staff were very friendly and professional. We will be coming back this year. Highly recommend this facility and course.

This is for the Seaside course. Would not recommend, the staff was generally nice, but they were way too busy with their Member-Guest on the Newport course when we arrived. Felt like we were bothering them when we were trying to get carts. Conditions are just "ok" at best and as for the value, $100 to play what I would consider a basic "parkland" layout with fair conditions. Will never play here again. Way too many options in OC, even if it costs a little more, I would go elsewhere.

PLAYED THERE on our annual MD trip from PA day 2 another fantastic course . good shape the starter and the crew where very accommodating . the course had it challenges and character . . a good experience .all around would love to play it again excellent value

Ate at clubhouse for a banquet. blah salad that had nondescript dressing with 4 croutons and all of 6 small lettuce leaves. over cooked chicken, a crab cake that was equally disgusting. Mashed potatoes - were they powered recipe? Asparagus wrapped in bacon - Informed staff do not do eat pork - sent back, returned 1 minute later they took bacon off - violation of my dietary with Salty ham taste - did not eat just shows ignorance of kitchen - chef. Dessert - what looked like a smith island thin sliced cake - did they buy it at a thrift store Wouldn't never return.

The Newport Bay course is a favorite in the Ocean City area -- we've actually have come to prefer this over many other courses in Berlin, MD. Best holes: 4-9; 10, 11, 17, 18

Nice course-But what makes this course stand out from all the rest is the (on the water) location -If you like courses with water hazards this is your place!!-Not to mention the stellar views of the bay from several different holes while you play!! Nice atmosphere in clubhouse with surprisingly good and fresh food.facilities a bit dated.Course conditions are good not great-Not a upscale country club but still a definite must play course!!!
