Each morning guests will rise well-rested in the private master cabin on the main deck – and already excited for the day ahead. An al fresco breakfast on the top deck awaits as the breeze lifts off the glinting Mediterranean.

For guests who enjoy visits to shoreside towns, strolling the streets and tasting the fresh produce at morning markets, the comfortable 37ft chase boat is ideal for journeys back and forth.

Once back on board LAMMOUCHE, lunch is set out in the cool, relaxed sky lounge and followed by an afternoon of fun on the water; the beach club is open, with SeaBobs at the ready and paddle boards for exploring the shallows. While those with a spirit of adventure spend time on the water, others may prefer an afternoon basking on the sun loungers or relaxing in the jacuzzi.

As the sun sets and guests are sun-kissed, dinner can be enjoyed under the stars on board or ashore, in one of the top restaurants along the coast. Glasses are raised: a toast to time with family and friends aboard LAMMOUCHE.

LAMMOUCHE for charter

For cruising the Croatian coast with family and friends, LAMMOUCHE is the savvy charter choice. Recently refreshed with a modern luxury décor in 2020 and 2021, she is in pristine condition, and offers five cabins for a party of 10, plus large lounges, sweeping teak decks and a beach club with gym equipment.

Each morning guests will wake rested in the private master cabin on the main deck – and already excited for the day ahead. The Dalmatian Coast is the jet set's favourite playground for good reason, offering fortified towns with cosmopolitan cafés and legendary night life, islands with quiet coves, and tiny villages with pretty harbours.

Time to join the party on the top deck where a large table sits beneath a shading hardtop, and the breeze lifts off the glinting Adriatic Sea as guests enjoy an al fresco breakfast. LAMMOUCHE knows how to look after her guests, and chef has been baking fresh pastries, served with fresh fruits and thyme-scented local honey.

Sailing past ancient olive groves and walled cities steeped in history, guests follow the traditional trade routes. Byzantine palaces rub shoulders with Roman ruins so a trip ashore is a must. The crew take all the guests harbourside in the comfort of the 37ft chase boat. Busy markets and stylish boutiques beckon you in before sightseeing.

Once back aboard LAMMOUCHE, lunch is set out in the cool, relaxed sky lounge. After lunch the little ones are keen to try the watertoys, while others have their mind on a sun lounger by the jacuzzi.

When underway, the yacht’s stabilisers ensure comfort, so everyone arrives refreshed and ready to dive into the bright waters. The beach club is open and the SeaBobs are ready , or take a paddleboard to the shallows. On the sun deck, some guests can appreciate being far away from the activity below – it’s the perfect spot for a little me-time.

As the evening sun begins to dip everyone is back aboard and sun-kissed, this is a good sign that they have had the best day – and it’s not over yet. Soon all the guests are dressed to go to dinner ashore. The yacht moors off a renown cliff-side restaurant where the best table waits with spectacular views along this famous coastline. Glasses are raised: a toast to time with family and friends aboard LAMMOUCHE.

LAMMOUCHE Becomes First Yacht in the Med to Take on Biofuel

In a significant stride towards a sustainable future, motor yacht LAMMOUCHE recently became the first yacht in the Mediterranean and in France—and believed to be the second worldwide—to take delivery of the revolutionary clean-emission biofuel, CristalPower XTL 100. LAMMOUCHE took on 23,000 liters of the fuel at IGY Sète Marina and is currently managed by SYM, both recently acquired by Northrop & Johnson.

CristalPower XTL 100 is a second-generation biofuel created by recycling used cooking oil, called hydrotreated vegetable oil or HVO. It is non-toxic, biodegradable and odorless. Though currently more expensive than conventional fuels, it is superior to diesel in terms of long-term storage, reduction of particulate emissions and black smoke by up to 80 percent, reduced engine noise and a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 90 percent.

This achievement not only signifies a major milestone for the yacht industry but also showcases the growing importance of eco-responsible fuel choices. In making the transition from fossil fuels to biofuel, LAMMOUCHE is spearheading a movement toward cleaner and more efficient energy solutions.

“It was very easy and people shouldn’t be afraid,” says Jean-Max Berthet, Captain of LAMMOUCHE. “The process is very simple once you get approval from the engine and generator manufacturers. Then, you just need to inform the class and the insurance. After that, it’s very easy. It doesn’t require any engine modifications or fuel management. You can mix with GO, or swap one day on GO and the day after on HVO without any problems.”

According to the European Environmental Agency, maritime transport in and around the Mediterranean accounts for around 22 percent of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions and 16 percent of sulfur oxide (SOx) emissions globally. Some studies have shown that the adoption of biofuels can result in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions—while it varies, some report up to 80 percent.

So far, after an initial trial in December 2022, Captain Berthet reports no change in performance or fuel consumption. “The only difference in performance is the reduction of toxic fumes emission and the reduction in CO2. The other advantages are the reduction of fumes to zero and the use of 100 percent biodegradable product.”

As a result, Captain Berthet is optimistic about the future of yachting. “We have great hopes. All our clients are congratulating us for this move, so we hope it inspires others.”

LAMMOUCHE’s pioneering decision to take on CristalPower XTL 100 biofuel not only demonstrates their captain, crew and owners’ commitment to environmental stewardship but also sets a new standard for sustainable yachting practices, particularly in the Mediterranean.

“We are working hard to show the easiness and the need for yachts to adopt new fuels. I hope all our marketing will work soon or later! There isn’t a week that goes by where captains or professionals don’t contact me for some feedback. Everyone is looking for a solution. HVO might not be the best one long-term, but it is the perfect answer for today to decarbonate all these second-hand yachts. Many technologies are coming on the market for new builds, but we don’t have any for the existing fleet.”

By embracing eco-responsible fuel, yacht owners and operators can contribute to a cleaner and greener future, minimizing their impact on fragile marine ecosystems. The interior is expansive with space for 12 guests plus 12 crew and boasts a 54sqm owner’s apartment with its own deck and full beam VIP stateroom on the main deck.

Performance is delivered by twin Caterpillar engines which can achieve 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. She is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

The owner of a $3.4 million Lamborghini yacht threatened a private dock employee after he was informed that he couldn’t be there, CBS8 reported back on March 11.

The story begins with Joseph Holt, a 21-year-old employee at Marriot Marina in San Diego, where he told CBS8 that he saw the yacht sailing into the private dock Sunday afternoon. Apparently, the owner, identified as Ajay Thakore, attempted to pick up another person at the dock.

“I told him respectfully that he couldn’t be there, and I honestly was hoping to have a conversation with him about his cool boat,” Holt said to the news outlet.

“But yeah, it completely went the other way,” Holt added.

Captured on a video that was posted to YouTube by @SM-wc9eq on March 10 was an embarrassing verbal confrontation between Holt and Thakore, in front of a host of onlookers.

A dark blue Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 can be seen sailing out of a dock. Standing on the end of the yacht was a man sporting a gray shirt, jeans, and a cap.

The man seen in the video footage was seemingly the local business owner and philanthropist, screaming at the young man as the yacht sailed away.

Thakore was seen threatening his life, shouting at Holt, saying, “I will kill you, you know I will kill you!” He can be heard repeating himself multiple times in the video.

Thakore can be seen pounding his fists on his palm and pointing his thumb down, and telling Holt, “To your face!”

This caused Holt, who is standing on the dock, to respond with hoisting his middle finger in the air, directed at Thakore. Thakore’s screams can be heard echoing through the arena.

“It escalated immediately. It was 0 to 100 immediately,” he said to the outlet.

“I really was trying to restrain myself from getting fired from my job or stepping out of line. The only thing I did was give him the bird,” he added.

Holt said Thakore went as far as to take $100 bills from his wallet and throw the money at him, which landed in the water, and even dropped his pants and mooned him.

“[He] started to make gestures to everybody watching and me. You can’t act that way in public. It’s just not ok. Especially threatening my life, at the very least. There were women and children there. That’s the most important part,” Holt told the news outlet.

Unfortunately, the lewd act wasn’t caught on video.

“I’m a minimum wage worker, he was commenting on that, on my status just because of my job. He was saying I’m nobody, I’m nothing, I work a silly job. He said that he knows people, he has connections, he can change my life and ruin it,” Holt said.

The San Diego Harbor Police reported to the scene 10 minutes later.

Thakore, who goes by the name Ace Rogers on Instagram and TikTok and has a LinkedIn page stating that he’s the CEO of Doctor Multimedia, a healthcare marketing firm based in San Diego, had his public relations team provide a statement to CBS8, saying that he regrets the altercation.

“What started as a minor misunderstanding escalated into an argument, and I apologize for my actions and to those who witnessed the unfortunate exchange,” the statement said.

Joseph Holt, a 21-year-old employee at Marriot Marina in San Diego, told CBS8 that he spotted the yacht sailing into the private dock. The owner, whom CBS8 identified as Ajay Thakore, tried to pick another person up at the dock, Holt said.

"I told him respectfully that he couldn't be there, and I honestly was hoping to have a conversation with him about his cool boat," Holt told CBS8.

In a YouTube video posted by @SM-wc9eq on March 10, a dark blue Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is seen sailing out of a dock. A man in a gray T-shirt, a pair of jeans, and a cap was shown standing on the yacht. The man appeared to be Thakore, per CBS8.

Thakore was later shown pounding his fist on his palm and pointing his thumb down before telling Holt: "To your face!" Holt was shown responding by pointing his middle finger at Thakore.

Holt said Thakore then took $100 bills from his wallet and threw them at him. He added that Thakore mooned him. This exchange was not shown in the video.

"He was saying I'm nobody, I'm nothing, I work a silly job. He said that he knows people, he has connections, he can change my life and ruin it," Holt said. Holt did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.

The San Diego Harbor Police arrived at the marina 10 minutes after Thakore's yacht exited the dock, per CBS8.

The Harbor Police told Business Insider that Holt decided to press charges against Thakore and that they are investigating the incident.

According to Thakore's LinkedIn page , he's the CEO of Doctor Multimedia. The company's website shows that it's a healthcare marketing firm based in San Diego. Thakore appears to go by the name Ace Rogers on Instagram and TikTok, where he's noted as being a professional gambler.

Thakore, through his public relations team, told CBS8 in a statement that his altercation with Holt was "regrettable."

"What started as a minor misunderstanding escalated into an argument, and I apologize for my actions and to those who witnessed the unfortunate exchange," the statement said. Thakore did not immediately respond to a request for comment from BI.

Thakore isn't the only CEO who's been called out for threatening another person. In November 2021, an Activision spokesperson told BI that its ex-CEO Bobby Kotick had previously apologized for telling his assistant he would have her killed. The spokesperson added that Kotick's threat was "obviously hyperbolic and inappropriate" and that "he deeply regrets the exaggeration and tone."

In June 2020, Lisa Alexander, the CEO of LaFace Skincare, a cosmetics company, apologized in a statement to the media after she had threatened to call the police on her neighbor for writing "Black Lives Matter" on his property. Alexander said in the apology that she was "disrespectful" and "should have minded my own business."
