STAY SALTY superyacht – star of the season three of the Below Deck series

Built by US shipyard Trinity Yachts in 2008, the Owners of M/Y STAY SALTY  (ex Hunter, Mustang Sally, Destination Fox Harb’r Too)  made sure she was also looking her best and received a refit just before filming began in August 2015. The gorgeous interiors combine past and present trends, and the facilities are just as comprehensive, catering to a wide variety of guests.

The Interiors

The interiors from Patrick Knowles were inspired by European spa resorts and are designed to appeal for a variety of charter purposes. As such, they offer laid back elegance that merges traditional and contemporary appeal by using Lacewood, Redwood burl and Honduran mahogany accented with satin nickel. A sharp eye will notice all the neo-classical touches throughout, from the mirror surrounds to the balustrades and the lighting fixtures.

When it comes to entertainment both the main salon and skylounge can host a fantastic soiree: There is a wet bar on both decks and the main salon has a 42″ widescreen TV with surround sound, while the skylounge has a 62″ widescreen TV along with a game table and a library. Of course, the main salon also comes with the 12-seater formal dining area.

A pair of engines gives a faster-than-average cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 20 knots, letting guests make excellent time between destinations for a yacht of this size and volume.

The Exteriors

The raked bow and champagne-coloured hull give superyacht hunter a sleek modern look that will impress from afar and when additional visitors come on board for dockside events. Cocktails can be ready and waiting on the large swim platform, which is perfect for lazy days beside the turquoise waters of the Caribbean & Bahamas luxury yacht charter grounds.

Spacious aft deck are ideal for entertainment and socialising

Spacious aft deck are ideal for entertainment and socialising

The main deck aft is a casual outdoor environment where the group can discuss their morning around the coffee table while the professional crew creates refreshments at the indoor/outdoor wet bar.

When it comes to dining alfresco, the upper deck aft has a close atmosphere between guests thanks to the round table design, and strong lighting ensures that the area can be used even after sundown – ideal for meals at sunset followed by fireworks, or a film or sports on the widescreen TV. The group can savour a top-quality meal prepared by the expert onboard chef, who will cater to all the dietary requirements within the group. Couples looking for a bit more privacy can head forward to the loveseat on the Portuguese deck, where there’s also a table for meals together or a nightcap.

Once charter guests have explored their beautiful destination, most head to the sundeck for a dip into the forward Jacuzzi or rest on the sunpads until a lunch prepared on the barbeque grill is served in the shade. Just like the main deck and upper deck, the sundeck has a wet bar for fast and efficient service.

The Accommodation

The generous accommodation is a tranquil sanctum that accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth ideal for children.

Upon entering the main deck Master suite there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa and en-suite bathroom enclosed in its own space. This can be used as an alternative cabin to the selection on the lower deck, or as a private lounge. The main Master bedroom farther forward boasts a king-sized bed with a widescreen TV opposite, plus plenty of seating and wardrobe space for guests who have a packed social calendar and a different gown or suit for each occasion. The en-suites have a ‘get-up-and-go’ setup in the one bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower, while the second bathroom invites guests to a long soak in the spa bathtub, as well as offering all the amenities of the first.

Retreat to a private suite after a relaxing day on board.

Guests in the VIP staterooms and the twin cabin have not been neglected either: Each cabin has a top-quality mattress and bedding, plus TV entertainment to wind down before a comfortable night’s rest.

The Water Toys

Wherever M/YSTAY SALTY travels, she takes with her a great collection of water toys from high speed to low energy to suit guests’ preferences of the moment:

  • Waverunners
  • water skis
  • snorkelling equipment
  • towable toys are just some of the toys found onboard…

Endless fun guaranteed by the great selection of water toys enjoyable from the large swim platform aft

Luxury yacht Eros starred in Below Deck season 3

Eros or Stay Salty (formerly Mustang Sally) appears in TV show Below Deck in season 3, which was shot in the Bahamas. Season 3 has received the highest ratings as a season out of the entire series,  World Wide Luxury Yacht reports.

US Gulf Coast-based shipyard Trinity Yachts built 161ft super yacht Eros in 2008.

The beauty can accommodate 12 guests and ten crew and offers a beautiful tri-deck with a saloon and sky-lounge Jacuzzi. The interior is a combination of traditional and contemporary design with neo-classical touches throughout.

World Wide Luxury Yacht reports Eros charter prices start from $175,000 (£155,000) ,  but she isn’t currently available. The vessel was last sold for a whopping $17,900,000.

Eros’ epic water toys

The yacht’s beautiful interior and exterior aren’t the only features of the vessel that stand out. Eros has some of the best water toys that have featured in Below Deck.

The yacht features a mixture of high and low-energy toys on deck for more active days as well as lazy, relaxed ones to suit all guest preferences.

The boat has wave runners (jet skis), water skis and snorkelling equipment, as well as a huge blow-up slide that can be attached to the side of the boat.

Scuba diving is also available to guests and, while cruising between destinations, there’s a rowing machine and exercise bike for guests who can’t afford to get out of shape.

Below Deck, now in it’s third season has had three different super yachts. The yachts typically rents for thousands of dollars a week. The 2015 Below Deck yacht, the Eros charters for about $200,000 a week in the summer months. The Below Deck charter guests, however, get a deal. They can charter the Eros for about $35,000 a week.

The Honor, was in Season One of Below Deck. It didn’t return for a second season, because it was also sold.

The Ohana was the second yacht on Below Deck. The yacht did not return for a second season because it was sold. That yacht is now called the Rhino.

The yacht looks very different from its appearance on Below Deck. The interior is now more modern and chic. But for old time’s sake, below you can see what the Honor looked like when it was on Below Deck, Season 1. According to SuperYacht, the Ohana is now named the Rhino is it’s available for charter guests to rent in the New England area.

The Eros, a 161-foot luxury super yacht  replaced the Ohana for episodes that are airing in 2015. Like the other ships, the Eros as a pseudonym for the yacht’s real name. The Eros’ real name is Mustang Sally. It’s even more impressive than the other ships. Take a look inside.

The Caribbean's story is an intriguing tale of colonists, pirates, and great sugar wealth. Many islands changed hands several times over the centuries, creating a diversity of European influences, which remains most evident in the buildings. Around this, the people of the Caribbean have stamped their own laid-back attitude onto each island. As each Island's history is different, so too are the customs, the languages and the music you'll find. All the islands of the Caribbean do have some things in common though – a relaxed attitude that perfectly matches the balmy weather. Throughout the islands of your Caribbean cruise you'll find a kinship with nature – locals fish for their supper and weekends see families flock to the stunning beaches to swim in the crystalclear waters. Once you arrive at one of the majestic destinations on the Caribbean, the activities you can choose from are boundless. From jet skiing to sport fishing to catching your own fish for your evening dinner, everything you desire is right at your fingertips! For a discounted charter rate you can be a part of this phenomenal show that has become a fan favorite and household name on Bravo!

You will be escaping on a 150'-165' luxury yacht, with 3 spacious decks, a Jacuzzi, and 4 guest cabins, including a master suite and double beds in the other 3 rooms. This mega yacht sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably. In addition, guests will have access to all of the boat's water toys, which may include waverunners, seabobs, paddleboards, kayaks, snorkel gear, water skis, wake boards, and assorted inflatable toys. All of these details will be confirmed once your charter group has been locked into a specific charter date! The charters this season will be 3 days, 2 nights and the charter fee will be $40,000. This charter fee covers round trip economy airfare to/from TBD location in the Caribbean for everybody in the group (we recommend keeping the number of guests between 5-6 people), accommodation the night before and the night after your charter, all food and beverages on the yacht, and a fully planned itinerary and all inclusive boat activities (beach picnics, snorkeling, water sports, boat toys, etc.) There is a $1,000 APA fee that is taken as a deposit before the charter begins and is used in the event that the guest requests any one item over $100 that is not already on the boat (i.e. imported fine caviar, a magnum bottle of champagne, a special offsite scuba trip) and you will be notified ahead of time before this transaction takes place. At the end of the charter whatever amount was not used will be refunded back to the charter guest. Additionally, the charter group is responsible for a cash gratuity, which is a 15% minimum, with most guests last season giving 20% and above because they were so happy with the service provided. This gratuity is based on the wholesale cost of a 3-day charter, which is $87,500, so the standard tip would be around $15,000. Typically the head charter guest will hand the cash tip to the captain as they disembark the yacht and the gratuity is then divided up among all the crew members. Of course, this tip is at your discretion and any special requests or accommodations can be made with proper notice.

Please see specific dates below and let us know which charter works best for your group. Screen Rant

Below deck: what happened to deckhand connie arias after season 3.

Connie Arias appeared on Below Deck season 3 as a deckhand. Find out more about what Connie is up to in 2024.

  • Connie Arias, a former deckhand on Below Deck season 3, still works in the boating industry and owns a boat management company.
  • Connie was known for her hilarious antics on the show and enjoyed showing some skin, often covering herself with whipped cream.
  • Connie got engaged in 2020 and expressed her desire for Captain Lee to officiate the wedding. She has a close friendship with former chief stew Kate.

Connie Arias appeared on Below Deck season 3 as a deckhand, and she seems to still work in the industry to this day. While on the hit Bravo series, Connie developed close relationships with her crewmates. Not only was she close with her exterior team but also with the interior team. Connie didn't gravitate toward one group of people in the group and mainly stayed natural throughout the season. As fans await Below Deck season 11 , it's time to catch up with Connie.

Connie was known for her hilarious antics throughout her time on the show. During one of her infamous confessionals, Connie admitted that she enjoyed showing some skin, which prompted her to take her clothes off quite a few times throughout that season. Connie would often cover herself with nothing but whipped cream. The adventurous deckhand offered most of the comic relief throughout her season and is still missed from one of the best reality TV shows after all these years.

Connie Still Works In The Boating Industry After Below Deck

After departing the Eros yacht after Below Deck season 3, Connie returned to her home in Melbourne Beach, Florida, where she began her boat management company (via Bravo ). Since then, however, it's unclear if she still owns the company. Connie still seems to work on boats, but it needs to be clarified if the boats she works on are yachts. According to her Instagram, Connie has been doing a lot of fishing for the past few years. The former reality star recently shared a couple of snaps of her holding a medium-sized red-ish fish and two giant lobsters. She also traveled to the Bahamas, catching several exciting sea creatures.

Connie Got Engaged After Below Deck

Besides her career moving in the right direction, Connie has also found love after appearing on Below Deck . According to Bravo , Connie announced she was engaged in 2020. The deckhand became engaged shortly after her time on the show on May 21, 2017. Regarding her engagement, it's unknown whether she and Scott have gotten married. Nonetheless, Connie expressed her desire for Captain Lee to officiate the wedding. Regarding Connie's close friendship with former chief stew Kate, they appeared together on the Below Deck aftershow, Galley Talk .

It's been years since Connie appeared on Below Deck , and while she looks back on her time fondly, she seems to have moved on. Her life appears wholly fulfilled personally and professionally, so she might seek a new adventure. Luckily, she keeps her social media up to date.

Note that some numbers are estimates. Additionally, the current value of each yacht may have changed since it was first purchased.

2023 Below Deck Charter Cost: Ultimate Guide

You may consult an expert or yacht broker to get a more accurate cost estimate for a specific yacht. The operating costs of each yacht can vary based on a number of factors, including the size, age, and condition of the yacht, as well as the location of the yacht and the level of use.

Valor yacht is also known as BG Charade

The proud owner of this luxurious vessel is Canadian entrepreneur Bobby Genovese. Though his exact net worth is not public knowledge, Bobby has made a fortune through his successful ventures and investments.

Valor, a 46.88-meter Feadship yacht, has had quite the journey. Built in 1990 and refitted in 2015, Bobby acquired this beauty for a rumored $15,000,000 in that same year. This nearly 154-foot-long yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests and comes with a crew of 10 members.

When it comes to operating costs, you should be aware that renting Valor for your dream vacation will set you back a considerable amount. It is available for charter starting at $260,000 per week, excluding expenses. However, keep in mind that chartering this celebrity-favorite vessel will undoubtedly be a lavish and unforgettable experience.

Ohana is built by Admiral in Italy

The Ohana yacht, featured on Below Deck, is owned by Captain Lee Rosbach and his wife, Lisa. They reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and have owned the yacht for over ten years. The couple has two children: a son and a daughter. While we don't have an exact number for their net worth, it is safe to assume that they are quite successful in the yachting industry.

Ohana is a 154-foot (47-meter) long motor yacht built by Admiral in Italy. The cost of the yacht might vary depending on its age, condition, and customization. However, yachts of similar size on the market may lie within the range of $20 million to $40 million. Keep in mind that these numbers are just an estimate; the actual price of Ohana may be different.

Operating a yacht like Ohana can be costly. Some of the annual expenses of maintaining and running a yacht of this size can include fuel, crew salaries, insurance, maintenance, dockage fees, and more. It is typically estimated that the annual operating cost falls between 10% and 15% of the yacht's purchase price. For Ohana, this would mean an operating cost in the ballpark of $2 million to $6 million per year.

Your luxurious vacation on the MY Seanna

The owner of MY Seanna is an entity called Seanna Yacht Holdings LLC, and the net worth of the company is not publicly known. The estimated purchase cost of the yacht is $45 million, and the estimated annual operating cost is $2.5 million to $3 million.

MY Seanna is a 164-foot-long vessel, will come at a pretty penny. The yacht is available for charter at a starting price of $260,000 per week. Keep in mind that this cost doesn't include expenses, which means you'll need to budget for additional costs during your adventure.

Exact 2023 Cost To Charter My Seanna from Below Deck

Operating costs for a yacht like MY Seanna can be quite significant, but exact figures are tough to come by. While we don't have specific details for this particular yacht, you should be aware that operating costs typically include fuel, maintenance, insurance, crew salaries, and provisions. These expenses can add up quickly, so it's essential to be aware of them when planning your luxurious getaway.

Raquel 'Rocky' Dakota from Below Deck

Where Is Rocky From ‘Below Deck’ Now? Explained

Image of Evan Tiwari

Below Deck is one of the more popular reality TV shows to have come out in recent times, with its success leading to multiple spinoffs like Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Below Deck Down Under , and Below Deck Adventure .

Rachel “Rocky” Dakota was a participant on the show in the third season, Eros . She featured as the 3rd stewardess on the show, her poor relationship with chief steward Kate Chastain being one of the highlights of that season. During the course of the season, she accused Chastain of firing her “best friend,” Leon Walker, and later tried to get herself fired as well, but ended up staying on the yacht until the end of the season. She had a short-lived relationship with Bosun Eddie Lucas while she was on the show.

Nowadays, the former reality TV star can be found working as a surfer and competitive national diver. Her love life is also relatively stable when compared to her Below Deck days, as her Instagram profile suggests she has a long-term partner, Mark. Dakota had left the yachting industry shortly after her stint on Below Deck ended, opting to move to Hawaii in December 2016, where she went to college. She had to deal with a horrific personal tragedy in 2017, when her sister Sophia Tiare Bartlow passed away in a car accident. Dakota has been upfront with her struggles regarding this loss, also encouraging others to come forward with their grief and not internalize it.

Dakota is quite active on social media, and her fan following has carried over from her time on the reality TV show—the 68k followers on Instagram are a proof of that. While it remains difficult to comment on someone’s personal life from a distance, her social media activity does indicate she is in a much better place compared to her Below Deck stint.

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? Here's what we know

W hat happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5? That’s the question on fans’ minds after it was revealed Below Deck Med Season 9 will air following Below Deck Season 11.

Ever since Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiered on Bravo, it has followed the OG show.

Below Deck Med would then hit Bravo airwaves once the sailing show had wrapped it’s run.

That’s the way it’s been for the past four years, except for last year when Below Deck Down Under Season 2 aired after Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

So why all of a sudden is there a switch in the schedule, especially since Below Deck Med Season 8 just ended in January?

Let’s take a look at what we know.

What happened to Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5?

The reason for the change-up likely has to do with the sexual misconduct allegations that came out against Gary King after Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was filmed.

Leaked photos revealed that Daisy Kelliher and Gary were back for another stint aboard Parsifal III with Captain Glenn. The two of them returning was music to fans’ ears as they helped make Below Deck Sailing Yacht a huge success with Colin MacRae.

However, a couple of weeks later, news broke that a member of the production team came out via Rolling Stone to accuse Gary of unwanted sexual advances and harassment. Gary was soon removed from the BravoCon 2023 list, making clear Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be in trouble.

Unlike when Peter Hunziker was fired by Bravo for a racist post and then edited out of the season, Gary has not been fired from the show. Plus, editing Gary out really wouldn’t be an option because he plays such a pivotal role and makes a good story even if fans don’t like him.

All of this means that what would have been Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 could be scrapped. Should that be the case, a new season of the sailing show won’t air for a long time.

Then again, maybe the powers that be are still trying to figure out how to save the season with Gary, and they just need more time.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans share thoughts on schedule change

A Reddit thread devoted to the Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht swap had fans buzzing.

“I would absolutely be okay with a delay if it means not having to watch Gary. I’m not sure I’ll even watch if he’s on it, especially since Colin isn’t. And Glenn the enabler has went from being best captain to #3 now…,” wrote one user.

Another admitted to liking the sailing show with Daisy but could do without Gary and would be fine if Season 5 never aired.

“AS IT SHOULD BE. Bravo needs to learn- you hire racists, you hire sexual abusers, you’re going to lose money. The end.” was another remark.

A different user doesn’t think the season will air and noticed Daisy switched her Instagram bio, so that may be a clue that Season 5 will never see the light of day. There was also speculation that Below Deck spin-offs will soon be combined for money reasons.

“That is a possibility or they’re still editing the heck out of it to reduce his role as much as possible but that has got to be a monumental task. I doubt they’d scrub an entire season but maybe more things have come out behind the scenes we’re unaware of and they have to do what they have to do especially with all the negative publicity they’re getting with Andy Cohen lately.” declared another user.

Along with Below Deck Sailing Yacht being pushed back, Below Deck Down Under fate seems to be up in the air. As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Captain Jason Chambers asked for fans’ help with Season 3.

Be sure to keep checking back for more news on th e Below Deck franchise.

Below Deck Med Season 9 premieres on Monday, June 3 at 9/8c on Bravo. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo.

'Below Deck' Charter Guests Get Plenty Of Space

eros yacht below deck

Cabin fever is spreading like crazy over on Season 3 of Below Deck , and the crew members have gotten on one another's nerves nonstop. Since they've been blaming the cabin's close quarters for many of their disagreements, I had to wonder, how big is Eros ? Could it really be small enough to make even the most professional yachties hate one another? While their sleeping quarters are certainly uncomfortably small, I don't think the crew can blame the ship. It is huge, even for a Below Deck yacht. Actually, it's series' biggest one yet, as according to Yacht Charter World, Eros is just over 160 feet long , which is on the large side for a charter yacht.

Even though the crew might be at one another's throats, that doesn't mean the guests are cramped. If anything, the crew is sacrificing their mental health in order to make the Eros as pleasant as possible for the guests. Every square inch of space is taken out of the crew's area in order to maximize how much space there is for the guests to hang out and walk around. Actually, even though you technically can't really leave the boat, the Eros isn't limited whatsoever — there's nothing you can't do if you're a Below Deck guest.

1. You Can Run A 5K If You Lap The Deck 100 Times

eros yacht below deck

Training for a race? Want to keep your exercise routine going while you're on vacation? Run around the 160-foot deck about a hundred times, and you'll get three miles, or 5K.

2. There's Plenty Of Space On The Deck For All Of Your Guests

eros yacht below deck

That's handy if you're playing some sort of "the floor is lava" game or you all want tans but hate chairs — but the deck, which has been shown on every single episode of Below Deck , can easily accommodate all 10 of your potential guests.

3. That Annoying Hot Tub? It Won't Make The Whole Place Humid

eros yacht below deck

Have you ever lived in an apartment so small that whenever you take a shower the whole place would feel like a sauna? Probably not, if you're rich enough to book a week-long charter for almost $200,000 . But worry not — with all of that space, the hot tub won't ruin anything.

4. There Are 2 Dining Rooms

eros yacht below deck

If over the course of a week or two you get tired of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the same scenery, why not switch to the more formal dining space?

5. If You Hate 1 Of Your Guests, You Don't Have To See Them

eros yacht below deck

160 feet, the length of Eros, is like the width of a professional football field. And while it's not as wide as it is long, football coaches manage to yell at their teams on either side of the field without overhearing one another, and that's without tons of fun yacht stuff in the way. So if you brought along a guest but don't want to have to deal with them? No worries, so long as they stick to the bow and you stay near the stern. Take it as a chance to indulge your Titanic dreams, like the above Season 3 charter guest.

6. You Don't Have To Hear Anything From Below Deck

eros yacht below deck

And I mean that literally: the Eros is big enough that you'll be far away from all of the reality show drama. There's no way that Rocky's screams of boredom are audible from the guest quarters, so there's no chance that your vacation bliss will be ruined by the shouts of the crew ironing your T-shirts for the tenth time. And that's the true privilege of Eros' size: total freedom from confronting the Below Deck stars onboard.

Viking Yachts, family-owned-and-operated in New Jersey, has been building luxury sportfishing yachts for over four decades. A world leader in semi-custom fiberglass yacht production, Viking is dedicated to building some of the world’s finest high-end yachts. Viking has built over 4,000 yachts in the last 40 years and leads the yacht building industry in performance, innovation, luxury, and engineering.

Viking Yachts was founded by brothers Bob and Bill Healey in 1964 when they bought Peterson-Viking Builders, a small, struggling New Jersey builder of 37-foot wooden sportfishing boats. Those humble beginnings, of course, led to Viking Yachts, now a world leader in semi-custom fiberglass yacht production, with over 4,000 Viking sportfish and motor yachts delivered.

With Bob Healey still at the company helm as Chief Executive Officer and deal maker and Bill as company President, chief boatbuilder, and head of Viking Yacht's in-house design and engineering teams, this family-owned and managed business is thriving. Viking Yacht Company builds over 100 high-end sportfishing yachts from 45' to 82' each year. Viking Yachts' order sheet is full for the next 12 months, depending on the model, with sales limited only by production capacity.

Learn More About Viking And Find Your Next Boat

In 1964,  Bill and Bob Healey founded what would become the dominant force in building premium sportfishing yachts - Viking Yachts. The Healey Brothers bought out Peterson Viking Builders and made it their own sportfishing and cruising yacht company. The Healey brothers are also founders of the Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA), a non-profit organization that was formed in 1996 to promote sustainable fisheries and a healthy marine environment. Being in business this long, the team at Viking has weathered many storms including the years of the federal luxury tax in the 1990's and the Great Recession in 2008, yet Viking has continued to re-invest in the cutting-edge machinery that is used to build each boat, its factory, and its people. While other boat manufacturers had to significantly cut back or even go out of business, Viking's reputation one of the best built boats in the world and smart financial decisions allowed them to weather the storms and capture even more market share once things improved. With millions of dollars re-invested in recent years, Vikings latest models have continued to drive innovation in the industry where others may have fallen stagnant. While its Sportfish business has maintained consistent sales, Viking expanded its offerings by once again building luxury motor yachts. Built with the same materials and construction techniques as its sportfishing line, Viking's first model - the 75MY - was a hit at the boat show circuit when it debuted. Viking's new flagship of the motor yacht line, the 93MY, packs a significant amount of volume on board that is generally seen on yachts well over 100 feet.

List Of Viking Yachts On The Brokerage Market

The Viking Yachts factory is located on the Bass River in New Gretna, New Jersey and has the characteristics of a small city. Complete with its own water tower and medical center, the Viking headquarters employs hundreds of local craftsmen, factory workers, wood workers, and other positions to produce over 90% of every boat built right at the factory. Many employees are even second and third generation team members. This ability to control almost every aspect of the build, combined with the finest machinery available (including a $1 million five-axis profiler that creates foam plugs to build complex molds) results in an unbelievably quality yacht that is consistently produced at the same superior level.

The owner experience is where Viking really excels. Every aspect of a Viking Sportfish or Motor Yacht is designed and built with the experience in mind. For example, the cockpit of a Viking Convertible or Enclosed Bridge is an extremely important area as this is where the action happens when a Marlin is hooked. Not only has Viking equipped each angler with the very best in options from livewells, fish boxes, rod holders, but the quality of construction has allowed Viking to build larger beam vessels which creates more volume in the cockpit, allowing the crew to work around the angler without running into each other. In addition, Viking has designed what they call an observation mezzanine which is a comfortable, air-conditioned space in front of the cockpit for guests to watch the action as it unfolds. Viking has re-shaped what it means to own a Sportfishing Yacht and will soon re-define the motor yacht market as well. Let the experts at United Yacht Sales, who truly understand the current pre-owned Viking market, help you navigate the choices available to you today.

Air conditioning is also available on the command deck for those fishermen looking to escape the heat.

With close to 14 feet of beam grants the Viking 37 Billfish a great amount of room and an air-conditioned layout. Viking Yachts for Sale

Viking sportfish for sale.

Viking was started by brothers Bob and Bill Healey in 1964 when they bought Peterson-Viking Builders, a small New Jersey builder of 37-foot, wooden sportfishing boats. In 1971 the company built its first all-fiberglass model, the Viking 33 Convertible, and thefollowing fall the Viking 40 made its debut—a huge marketing success (over 400 were sold in the next 10 years) that established Viking as a leader in the pleasureboat industry. In 1987 the company moved into the large motor yacht market with the purchase of Gulfstar Yachts, a West Florida builder whose yachts were then considered among the most innovative in the industry. By 1990 Viking was offering a full line of high-end convertibles and mo tor yachts. The 1991-era recession, together with the ill-timed 10 percent luxury tax—whose repeal owed much to the efforts of Bob Healey—crippled Vikings production for a time. By 2003, Viking was back, building over 100 sportfishing yachts, 45' to 82', each year. Still family owned and operated, Viking has built over 4,000 yachts in the last 40 years.
