1998 Moody 46 £169,995 This Moody 46 Centre Cockpit built in 1998 to 1999 specification, but not launched until 1999. It is presented in excellent condition and has everything think you would need to sail off to the Med or even further afield including air conditioning, generator and water maker. The current owner has undertaken many upgrades including new electronics and sails. Only three owners from new. The yacht is being sold due to a lack of time by the owner to use her. The owner is open to sensible offers.

Mechanical and Rigging

This Moody 46 has a Volvo Penta TMD22, 78HP Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine located under the companionway steps. Freshwater cooled.  It was last serviced in 2015, by Volspec and has approx. 700 engine hours as at the 20 th March 2018. Since the last service it has only been used for one trip the Chanel Islands and back. Full previous service history available. 470 Litre alloy fuel tank. Cable steering. It has a shaft drive to a 3-blade folding Brunton bronze prop with rope cutter. Cutlass bearing last changed 2012. The yacht will cruise under engine at 8 knots and has a maximum speed of 9 knots. It has through tunnel Bowthruster.

Spars & Sails

This Moody 46 has a Masthead Bermudan sloop rig. Keel stepped silver anodised furling mast with twin spreaders by Selden, Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2012 with manual backstay adjuster. In-mast furling main sail with Furlex head sail furling system. Lewmar electric self-tailing winches throughout. Terylene running rigging is all led aft to the cockpit replaced 2016. Rod kicker. Towing genoa cars.
